Excellent service and care. Friendly and caring staff. Would definitively recommend this hospital.

I had two excellent experiences recently at the imaging center at FPH. The front desk receptionists, lab techs, mammography and CT technicians were all very personable and helped me feel comfortable during both procedures. Two thumbs up, FPH!

Rachel Slaton

They have been really helpful and nice. Plus, there is a beautiful pond with a track. Plenty of shade, geese, ducks, fish, and other animals.

I came through the ER yesterday evening experiencing shortness of breath. The ER nurse and physician was exceptional. Their care, commitment , support and encouragement eased my anxiety and fear. Once admitted to the fourth floor my assisgn nurse Kenya was polite, caring and passionate about my care. However, the day shift nurse is the opposite.

This hospital is a total joke! They do NOT care about the welfare of their patients and place evil spirited doctors in charge of patient care. My loved one was treated horribly by a hospitalist who coldly proclaimed that she would die from her illness without even trying to help her. We even learned later after finding a better hospital, that they made her condition even worse by the treatment they gave her. We as a family are so disheartened by Fairview Park Hospital and place zero faith in their ability to help patients and provide compassionate care!!!!

Gladine Spyies

I want to thank the nurses and techs in the ICU/CCU for the exceptional services provided to the patients. Seth goes beyond the call of duty in helping and supporting family members.

Great hospital experience.

I was admitted with SVT, had a 4 day stay and everyone from the emergency room doctors and staff to the heart catheterization lab tech,Doctors and everyone in PCU are awesome...loved every single person I met. Everyone is so friendly and they treat you like family...I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

The Little Shaman Healing

My wife had extreme facial/ear pain that kept her up all night so we went to the ER first thing in the morning after she couldn't take it anymore. She has gone in two other times and received adequate treatment for the same issue right after we moved here from Pennsylvania. This time around several months later, she was treated like we were low class and when she questioned the prescriptions given without even being seen by a real doctor, the nurse gave her an attitude. My wife became very upset because she was in agony and just wanted some relief. After all, why even go to the ER unless it's so bad you can't stand it anymore? 5 security guys showed up as we were leaving. It seemed a little bit of an excessive response for one 95lb woman in pain. Once she got to the car she was crying because she was in so much pain. She was given prescriptions of Naproxen and penicillin for an agonizing nerve issue. She has already tried aleve and it did not work as she has dealt with this resurgence of pain for days. It's a chronic issue that comes every few months. After we left she was so desperate that she bought whiskey just to deaden the pain a little so she could sleep which didn't even work. She hasn't touched alcohol in over 20 years! I was shocked and realized how bad the pain must really be. Now she's been crying all day from the constant pain and I feel so helpless because the only people who could help in this case did nothing. When we left, I asked for and was given a printed copy of their policy of pain relief guidelines by the nurse, who said she'd contacted the director about my wife. She stated that was told by the director not to give us the printed policy but decided to do so anyway. The guidelines state that on the third visit, (which was my wife's first visit for this issue in months), a patient can still receive adequate pain relief. My wife wasn't even wanting a prescription, just something onsite to manage the pain so she can sleep. Aleve is not adequate pain relief for pain that not even 4 ibuprofen (800mg) and 2 extra-strength Tylenol (1000mg) can touch. A shot of non-narcotic Toradol (which she has been given before and which helps) would have been better if indicated. Aleve is a unacceptable prescription considering how much ibuprofen she had already taken anyway. She wouldn't have been able to take the Aleve for almost 10 hours. Is she supposed to just suffer until it's "probably safe" to take it? We may not be the best dressed or have mid to upper class looks, not many people that go to the ER do from my experiences because they are sick or in pain to begin with, but my wife deserves the same treatment as anyone else. It is the hospital staff's job to not show discriminatory behavior. They did absolutely nothing to relieve the agony my wife is still in. I'm half tempted to see if there is any kind of legal recourse we can take because the treatment and ignorance towards my wife is not only disrespectful, but uncalled for. People should not be forced to convince the hospital they deserve treatment.

Fairview Park has the BEST bariatric program!! I had a gastric bypass in June 2017. First, the bariatric coordinator, Chelsea, is simply amazing! She goes through the entire process by your side...even after surgery. She has been my biggest supporter from the beginning. She celebrates every little success with you. I am now 6 months out and down 112 pounds. She has celebrated every lost pound with me, and that makes this journey so much more fun and easy. Fairview could not have chosen a better person for that job. Dr. Blaney is my surgeon. He is great, as well. He has done 3 bariatric surgeries in my family. We all love him! I'm so thankful he decided to bring his skills to Dublin. I did not want to go to Augusta for this. Though Dr. Jacome is not my surgeon, he has done surgery on my mom, and my family has gotten to know him some. I would have let him do mine without giving it a second thought. I can't say enough great things about the rest of the staff I encountered during my surgery. Pre-op was a breeze. The morning of surgery was easy and the staff in same day surgery was amazing. The nurses I had during my stay were super sweet! Ciarra may have been mine and my mom's favorite. We enjoyed having her. I have had the pleasure of doing different things for the bariatric program after surgery for marketing reasons, which is totally out of my comfort zone. However, I have had the most fun with it! Chelsea has encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and find some self confidence. I never would have agreed to this for anyone else! What a blessing it has been! She and Lindsay have made each experience so much fun for me! I have loved every minute of it. It has helped boost my confidence and my quality of life. All of this to say...I highly recommend the bariatric program! I don't think my experience could be any better! I can't wait to watch the program grow!

Before I post too much I honestly want to say that I thought about posting for a week or so now, all I can say is that today my mother had a blessing she was actually leaving the hospital to go to rehab for a while, my mother has been in this hospital the last 20 days but I will say that ICU CCU you are the absolute best thumbs up to you. However 3rd floor nurses you are the absolute worst you are lazy, you talk too much, you stay on your phones to long ,you ignore the patients and this is not acceptable to any point!! Ok When we first got there and got to third floor after being in ICU for over a week and a half I came to the nurse's station and asked if I could get someone to come and help my mother get on the potty she's very weak she could not stand up we just needed a little bit of your time the charge nurse I(won't call her name)she acted like she was pure mad because I interrupted her phone texting she said someone will be there in a minute after 30 something minutes no one had came in but that's okay as her daughter took her to the toilet changed her sheets cleaned up the mess I did it all.. When she finally decided to come in there at this point 30-something minutes later she looked at my mother as though she had a disease even my mother as feeble is she is she noticed and got the same feeling.. I know you're wrong everyone's brother it seemed to be at least five of them was constantly going off but no nurse ever went to check on the the station as I got closer I stopped to listen to them talk one girl says I'm not going to deal with all this tonight not sure who that was but I continue to listen as they kept laughing and you wondered did I overhear yes I did you are despicable and have no business in this line of work.. as I walked back to my mother's room I had a lady next door to my mother asked me could I please help her guess what I did because no one got up to see about these patients.. Couple of days on in my mother was given information that she was to have a hard cast I came in really early that morning 5:30 or 6 and prepped her and did everything no one ever came back to get her for surgery we asked about lunch time they said so it would be after lunch they never happen then again at 3 p.m. they were supposed to come in and never happen but they continue giving my mother medicine that had her so messed up she didn't know her name she didn't know anything continuously giving medications probably to put her to sleep after we kept asking the nurse what was taking so long she kept saying they didn't know they didn't know they didn't know then all of a sudden they were blaming it on the doctor and then one says oh it's my fault I looked at the chart Wrong , how the hell can you work in a hospital and look at a chart wrong I know mistakes happen but come on... So back to ICU she goes. They were treating her but no one knew what they were treating her for but then in the last couple of days we asked them how can they treat her without knowing what to treat for? And then they all of a sudden said oh she's in respiratory failure but no one told us anything and then they said they don't know how all the bruises got on her but I'm going to just say that come from her thin blood we will just leave it at that. But what really sucks is when you have certain nurses on other floors telling us somebody needs to stay with her and telling us how awful the place is when nobody knows anything !!But everything has been documented along with pictures along with audio and video never go unprepared. If someone actually sees this get in touch with me or have me get in touch with you..

I had a emergency and registered to be seen I was given my wrist band and was told to wait in the emergency room until my name was called when finally my name was called to be seen I told the nurse the problems I was having so everything was okay so far until I get called again separate from everyone and was being told that my emergency wasn’t a emergency and if I would like to be seen i would have to pay 50 dollars cash or debt to be seen. Now I already knew I would be billed for emergency room visit but having to pay before I was seen is quite critical and shows me how unconcerned staff members was about my health just to say to me my emergency wasn’t emergent. I then told the nurse I was empty handed with no cash on me at the time so the nurse cut the wrist band from around my wrist ,I asked the nurse when have they been charging patients out of pocket in the er to be seen her answer was “ALL THE TIME” Fairview is most definitely one of the worst hospitals in GA even after so many years has passed its still one of the worst hospitals. Also it’s a lot of staff members that is PREJUDICE not all but majority.

Payton Adams

Worst hospital EVER. Was stolen from, disrespected and questioned by security on why I was heading to see my daughter that was born Monday morning. I ABSOLUTELY do not care if this is the last hospital open, they will NEVER EVER recieve anything from me again . The nurses on the other hand are great. They are the only ones that made the stay be somewhat tolerable.

Mother is currently waiting to go back for same day procedure. We have been in pre op since 830am...it is now 12:48PM! She still hasn’t been seen. Only positive and the only reason for more than one star, are the pre op nurses and how attentive and apologetic for the long wait they are. Goodness. The wait time is truly outrageous!

Our experience with Fairview Park Hospital was exceptional. We received expert care from the moment we entered the ER and OR departments until we left the 5th floor. Nurse Douglas and Nurse Bozeman (ER) along with all the other staff took care of us like we were their own! Dr. Bozeman was also one of the most professional yet caring surgeons we’ve ever met. We truly appreciate the professionalism and bedside manner that we received.

When you have an emergency in the middle of the night, this is the place to be!!!! Walked in the door of this busy ER at 3:00 a.m., on a Sunday morning with severe abdominal pain and after receiving a friendly smile from the admissions nurse had a wait time of less than 3 minutes before I was in a ER room being treated. Within less than 20 minutes of walking in the ER door, I have IV fluids infusing, pain and nausea meds have been given and my treatment plan has been explained to me. To all the ER staff from the friendly nurses, the physician, and the ct staff, thank you for first saving my life and second for making me feel as if I was your only patient you had in the ER. Less than 1 hours and 20 minutes from walking in the ER doors, I am in a surgical bed awaiting an emergency appendectomy. Once arriving on the surgical floor, I encountered more friendly professional nurses and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The room was comfortable, spacious, clean and the staff again treated me as if I was the only patient they had. Sincere thanks to the gifted surgeon, Dr. Jacome and his staff who used his great bedside manner and professional knowledge to make my first surgery a breeze. Thanks to the professional surgical team of friendly nurses and the top notch anesthesiologist, who unselfishly came in on a Sunday, to save my life. My surgery went without complications and I was discharged home the same day. Thank you Fairview Park Hospital for top quality care I received as a patient .

My mother was brought to the ER Friday night March 9th by ambulance.....the care she received was excellent and we could not be more pleased, everyone there treated us kindly, with patience and respect. This place is God awful. They screwed us out of 1000 dollars. The lady who we talked to said we could pay the bill in full. The very next month we get a bill for 300 dollars saying we haven't paid at all and that the minimum they would take is 300 dollars a month. We called and they, of course, said that they didn't receive, even though they charged the 1000 off of our credit card, this place is awful, and I would sue them into the ground if I had the money.

As hospitals go this one has friendly service but there could be some changes. My dad was a patient there recently, the tech came in once to introduce herself. We never saw her again that day, the next day she was on duty we saw her only when his vitals were taken. We called for help and it was answered, but no one came. The doctor that was on call was evasive when answering questions and I never could get a straight answer to the questions I asked. I realize that he was not the only patient, but when I call for help, it is because it is needed. I do not call for anything ,I walk down to get what is needed to help staff save a few steps.

Do not go to the ER . My son has been misdiagnosed twice by them . I brought my son in October due to a fever of 103.4 and they ran numerous test . So they say . They sent him home with Moltrin and that was it . He continued to have a fever I could not break so I took him to another hospital where he ended up having a febrile seizure and was diagnosed with croup . This past week I took him to Fairview due to fever , cough , congestion , and trouble breathing . They diagnosed him with tonsillitis and sent him home with antibiotics , Tylenol and Moltrin . However several days later when he was at his 1 year check up and was getting shots I was told he had croup again and to wait on the shots . His pediatrician prescribed him medication to cure him . So not only has Fairview Park hospital misdiagnosed him once but twice. The doctors and nurses are always in a rush to get you out of there and lack the knowledge and patience to properly assess you . They need new staff that actually care and want to get to the bottom of the problem. It upsets me that I had to go to another hospital the very next day and my son had a seizure because of his fever and it wouldn’t have happened if they would have diagnosed him correctly and given him the proper medication to solve this problem .

Air stopped working in room 412 and the finally brought a fan. It took call after call to get a nurse to come to the room. Some of the nurses were rude and very short they need to find a different joball I got to say. Will not be back there took my girlfriend Monday with a huge kidney stone and the next Monday they are going to take it out. She was in so much pain and burning up from it being hot in the room!!!

This is a refreshingly professional medical facility. From the ER through recovery every staff member was courteous, caring and pleasant. Quite a difference from Dodge County Hospital. I wouldn’t take a stray dog there. In Middle GA, this is the only smart choice!

If I could give them negative stars I would. DON'T GO HERE!!!!! My daughter was in a wreck and they did not clean her wounds, rolled her onto her broke ankle to be put half eay on a pan to pee then the pee went all over her, they didn't even clean that up, they "forgot" to take out the port in her arm and we had to turn around. THEY SENT A TECH OUT TO THE CAR TO TAKE OUT IN THE CAR!!!! Tech put the gauze on dash to the car that was to go on her arm. Talked to the ER director and she said they could take out the port in a car. ***PLEASE CHECK THE PHOTOS I PUT UP **

Fairview Park Hospital is not only the greatest place to work, they have taken care of my family on numerous occasions. The staff here truly embraces "Neighbors caring for Neighbors".

I was admitted for CHF and HBP and had to stay almost a week in CCU. The nurses and doctors were awesome. Im uninsured and asked to talk with someone about helping me get some assistance in getting my medicines that are really expensive and are much needed. I fail to get a reply.

Amy Burleson

This hospital is the worst place anyone should ever have to go. My loved one was not treated well by doctors or nurses at this hospital. I don’t understand how you can be in the medical profession and not care about patients or their families. Speaking negative things over patients all the time instead of encouraging them is unreal! If I ever get sick I’ll go to Macon or Savannah before I ever go to Dublin Hospital. They sure didn’t deserve the one star I gave them either!

Michelle Smith

I have worked here for 17 years and could not work with a better group of caring people! Our culture is about teamwork and caring for our patients as family.

Jessi Ansley

I wanted to give huge props to your crew at the hospital. We could not have had a better experience. My 8 month old was brought in by ambulance and the ER took him into a room immediately. Jennifer was his nurse and she was FABULOUS. So friendly, attentive to our questions, and handled our baby with care. Shannon was our tech and she was great. She took us to our room once he was admitted. Felecia from the lab came in with a smile and put us at ease. They took all labs at once, so no extra sticking necessary. Donna and her partner (I SO wish I could remember her name because she was WONDERFUL!) came in from X-Ray and talked to our babe the whole time. He didn't flinch when they did the X-Ray and I know it was because they were so good to him. Dr. Sarata was wonderful and answered all of my worried mom questions. He checked our baby out immediately and was in and out the whole time. Upon going to the pediatrics floor, Sheree and Lynn welcomed us. They brought in an extra chair for another family member to stay. In the morning we had Kelly and Jean. All of these nurses were wonderful and brought everything our baby needed our entire stay. They treated him with care and for that I am so thankful! You have an awesome staff and I will use you again for future needs. I really cannot tell you enough good things! Side not too .... We were in the ER and in our room within 2 hours! That's unheard of. Also, your ER renovations with the update screens in each room are awesome! It was so comforting to know where we were in the process!

Tish McKenzie

My mother was recently taken to the ER at Fairview by ambulance. She had sudden onset hypertension. The nurses, Doctor and other staff were all very attentive. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable and felt that we were in good hands while they addressed her hypertension. From admission to dismissal, we could not have asked for better attention to her needs. The staff was excellent. This was our first experience at Fairview and if we ever have another emergency it will be her hospital of choice.

Dr. Carl Bedingfield has been an employee of Fairview Park Hospital for 40+ years. Not only is he my dad but he is the hardest working person I know. I've heard him stay up night after night taking call after call from concerned parents about their sick child. I've heard him leave several times a night going to the hospital to be there to make sure a baby is ok after a C-section. He should have retired years ago but I believe he truly cares for the well being of his patients and wants to be there for them. He has so much experience, seen so much, and is a treasure not only to me, Fairview Park Hospital, Laurens County, but also to the state of Georgia. I know many people share my sentiment that he is a loving, caring, hardworking, great at what he does, best Pediatrician around.

I checked in and waited over an hour for my mammogram. The clerk forgot to check me in and to let them know that I was waiting. I was the only one waiting and people that checked in after me went before I did. If I hadn't checked on my appointment, they I would still be sitting there I guess.

Went to have blood work, ct scan, and upper GI. My doctor didn't receive the results from any of the tests. I called and spoke with the radiology department and asked them to fax the results again to my doctor. The lady I spoke to said she would fax it again. My doctor did not receive the results again. I called back to have radiology fax results again and got transferred to medical records. The lady in medical records took the time to fax the results to my doctor. My doctor's office actually received the fax. Then I was asking my doctor about the results from blood tests that had been done over a month and a half earlier. Again my doctor's office did not get the results. I called again and the doctor's office faxed wanting the results. I was told I couldn't get the results from medical records without a written letter. My doctor's office faxed another request for results from lab work from the hospital. I called again to the lab and the lady who answered finally got the right fax number. The doctor's office called me and let me know they had the results but, the lab forgot to do my one of the three tests that was ordered by my doctor. Not only do I have to pay this hospital for the first blood draw now, I have to pay for another blood draw, another 30 minute ride to the hospital, and more gas for my car. This is my first time ever stepping in this hospital because I just moved to the area but, you can bet that I will not waste my time going back to Fairview hospital in Dublin. I will take the 45 minute drive to have every test done in Warner Robins. Actually, it might be less of a hassle for me to drive to Warner Robins instead of wasting all my time trying to get results from tests and actually have someone to perform all the tests I need in one stop.

I went in for a severe allergic reaction to a medication. I could barely breathe, and I was sick on my stomach. I was covered from head to toe in hives. We signed in around 10:30 pm, the receptionist took a look at me and told me they would be with me shortly. There were only 2 other people in the waiting room. 1 HOUR LATER! I finally get in a "room" which was really a bed in a corner with a curtain. They take my vitals. 30 minutes later the doctor comes in and tells me they are gonna give me an IV of benadryl. I didn't get that until 20 minutes later. I stayed for another 4 hours laying there. When I was released he told me to go home and take benadryl pills. They didn't give me any medicine to take home. I ended up going to the Coliseum in Macon , where I was in a room within 5 minutes and was giving proper treatment. I will never go back to Fairview.
