The care for my college student was outstanding! Our first nurse Hazel on the 3rd floor took time with us and treated the family as well as her patients! She put us at ease. The surgeon and Dr and our night nurse and next day nurse were great too!

Mary Powell

My mother was a patient there years ago, she received excellent care and services. Besides, I had others families there and they voiced no complaints about their care. As a visitor, I was very impressed with the services of the staff.

Naomi Harris

Incredibly expensive compared to other hospitals. Go to Savannah or Augusta .

misdiagnosed my 25 year old thin son with type 2 diabetes after coming in with sugar over 600..Sent home with Metformin (a pill for mild type 2 diabetes) he was in acidosis and had type one diabetes lucky for us we saw susan riley the next morning at our PCP office or he may have died.

I brought my friend into this hospital around 2am, because she was having an extreme kidney pain and we sat for an hour and 30 min for nothing. She had to hold her own pee in a cup for 45min in the lobby. The doctor that talked to her had cowboy boots on and had a dip in. The staff here is extremely unprofessional and rude. Do not suggest going here.

We arrived 9:30am for surgery that was scheduled at noon. We met with the Dr Hodges, which he was awesome, then they forgot about us in the waiting room, the OR nurse Tasha or something similar never showed up about recovery or that my father was transported to 3rd floor. I went looking for someone to help me and at 5:44pm my family was told how to get to 3rd floor. Ridiculous!!!! POOR SERVICE!!! 3rd floor is a joke! Only gave 1 star cause had to. Not worth spending your money, insurance at this hospital! RUDE Staff! The LPN told my child to be quiet, none of them never knocked nor did they wash hands or gel up! House keeper was rude, just poor poor service!! I would never recommend anyone to this place! Travel a little bit more to get better service, trust me Augusta treats patients with dignity and respect!!! My father a veteran should never have to be treated like this, he deserves better!! Dr John Hodges was awesome and informed us in the little time in the consultation room. Just want to say : Think about it before choosing this hospital: YOU DESERVE BETTER SERVICE!!!!!! Your hard earned money and insurance, YOU HAVE A CHOICE!!!

I live in Statesboro so when the walk in clinic is closed I HAVE to go to East Georgia. I have a VERY good insurance, but I still have trouble paying my portion of the bill. I get phone calls from them just about everyday. I have asked them to send letters to my house and I will pay it as soon as I can. They still continue to call while I'm at work. The last time I was hospitalized I had a nurse come into my room that was wearing a scrub top that looked like it had not been washed in a week and I could have told you exactly what she had eaten that week. She came in to draw blood and then tried to put a band-aid on me that she had stuck to her nasty top! The staff is rude and they make you feel like you are bothering them when you need assistance! AVOID East Ga Hospital if you can help it! I would rather make the drive to Savannah.

If I could rate 0 stars believe I would, staff does not check in on patients like at all have asked mannnnnnny times for small things such as water an a pillow for my sick mom. Hours later still nothing no water no pillow no staff coming to see how she is doing

matt hodges

Great Hospital great staff I come in last night with chest pains today they did a heart cath found 3 blockages put a stent in glad they was here to help me the 3 floor on the 300 side has awesome people working here

Keeli Wallace

the hospital is very clean and they seen me and my son really quick. I think the staff was really nice. I got there at 8am and was leaving by 10am. they done x rays and sent stuff off to the lab and it didn't take no time. very good hospital.

Daniel Ennis

This is is by far the worst hospital I have ever been to. My paper work was filed incorrectly with my insurance and they attempted to charge me over $3000.

Diane Wagner

ER visit for dislocated shoulder - Staff were attentive, caring and anticipated my needs. We were there for four hours in all and I was well taken care of. EGRMC exceeded my expectations Outpatient surgery for dislocated shoulder and torn tendons - My nurse Chris was so thoughtful and caring she took care of everything. Dr. Gaines and his surgery staff were a little late from previous surgery, but I would not want a Dr that was clock watching. My arm was worse than expected and my surgery went very late. I am recovering faster than expected and I believe that is from the excellent care at EGRMC.

Gary White

Tuesday my wife was admitted, no sooner than giving her ID and Insurance info she was brought back to the ER. She was admitted to a floor later on that evening. Every single RN and CNA was caring, communicative, and generally passionate about my wife. Thanks so much to the Pediatric floor admitting an adult during overflow and dealing with us for 3 days. Yall rock! Happy Nurses Week!

Ken Robinson

Good, could always improve . As we all continue to educate

Amber Franks

If at all possible i wouldnt give it even a 1 star. My mother was placed there on a 1013 and had to stay over night before she could be transferred to another hospital. The guards at her door were so nice and friendly to her. They did not treat her like a crazy person. The nurses however could use some work. Zero personality and could have cared less about her! Treated her like a disease. Was told we would receive a call before her transport to another facility and we never did! What a lousy hospital and lousy excuses for nurses! I can see why this place is only 2 stars. Thank you to the guards though for making my mom as comfortable as could be and treating her like a human.

I just had my baby girl a month early. I stayed in the Women's Pavilion. The staff was wonderful all around in the Women's Pavilion, but we had our favorite nurses. Our doctor, Benjamin Oldham was there for our birth, and did a wonderful job. We had a awesome team in the OR. They were very personable, and sweet. The NICU took wonderful care of our baby girl, and we learned so much from them. Thanks to everyone there.

Jen jaudon

This hospital doesn't even deserve 1 star! Staff there is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. They don't run all necessary test to give you a correct diagnosis. They act as if they don't care. The wait time is WAY to long!! TRUST ME GO TO SAVANNAH! It's like any women that goes there in pain they say it's a ovarian cyst...read all the reviews and you will see the pattern. Same thing happened to me! They gave me WAY to much pain meds to the point the min i left i got sick the whole way home. The nurse was making fun of another nurse right in front of me. Don't waist your time going there I can't believe they are still open!

Beth Benton

I had an upper endoscopy with Dr Vu two weeks ago. The staff at EGRMC were amazing! From registration to being discharged I was treated professionally, courteously, and with great compassion and attention to detail.

Sarah Cooper

the ER staff is great the only way ppl wait so long is one it depends on how IMPORTANT your “Emergency” is and how many staff are working. if you go in for a stomach ache you aren’t going to go in before someone who has a broke bone or has blood coming out of them.

Tami Lindsay

I took my son to the hospital emergency room on 4/9 The physicians assistant was very nice. Unfortunately then nurse was very rough when she took blood. She was angry and mean. She snatched the IV out and had blood all over the place. I know pregnant women may be hormonal but I hope she gets some coaching before she hurts someone who is already sick. I’m very displeased with her treatment of my son and myself.

Kimberly Jackson

The most unprofessional bunch of clowns ive ever dealt with. If your considering having your baby here i would look else where. There are really good doctors in Dublin, but here they cant even keep up with your paper work. They dont even deserve the one star I had to give them, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Lacey Renée Hall

Prepare to be here for hours. I watched a girl have a couple seizures before anybody came to help her. Her mom was yelling for help and nobody came for a while. She fell out of her wheelchair and on the floor. Some guys finally came and picked her up and wheeled her back.

Hannah Strange

REALLY BAD SERVICE would not recommend

Kelsey Miller

TERRIBLE. this place threw my family member’s medications away TWICE leading to their death here because they needed their medications and it caused them to become hospitalized after a few days of not having them. They all pretended they had no idea where their medicines went then we eventually found out they threw them away after talking to 10 different people who “didn’t know where they were”. The ICU is the worst. A Chinese lady by the name of Mai was supposed to be my family member's nurse and was NOT doing her job and checking on them regularly and caused them to die because of it. She has a horrible attitude and needs to lose her nursing license. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You’re better off driving 10,000 miles away for better medical care because you will for sure die here.

Monica Vest

Absolutely worst hospital I've ever seen. Incredible wait times, triage a joke.

Stacy Owens

All of the nurses there were absolutely great! They were all so friendly & down to earth. The food is HORRIBLE!! I've stayed at other hospitals & this 1 has the worst of the worst food ever!! They should really b ashamed of how they feed their patients!! Other than the food my 6 days there were pretty good. Thank u to the lovely nurses on the 3rd floor!!

Chiquita Wallace

East Georgia Regional Medical Center took real good care of me before and after my surgery. The staff was professional and very friendly. I really enjoyed and want to thank the staff members that played apart of my surgery and recovery.Good job guys and keep up the good work

Kathryn Kadwell

They helped me me with medication for anxiety and grief issues and there mental health staff at emergency is wonderful but as far as anything serious like internal bleeding or doing tests that need to be done they are a HORRIBLE HOSPITAL. The specialists do not run enough or do the proper tests that need to be done, there are really poorly trained nursing staff with very bad dispositions. My fiancee went there in June for internal bleeding. His hemoglobin was at 4, they admitted him for a few days, gave him a blood transfusion, didn't conduct the proper tests, his nurses and case manager was awful. They released him and just told him to go to a clinic in Metter. A few days later he became seriously ill so we rushed him to Candler Hospital on Reynolds St in Savannah and it turned out he had diverticulitis and Cancer. St Joseph's Candler in Savannah saved his life.

Lauryn Yvonne

DO NOT COME HERE! The nurses (and the police) are rude, classless, racist, and do NOT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS. I came here to be treated for a bacterial infection and I was rushed out the door immediately. This place is NOT worth the time and the money!

Ric Clemons

Why are they so under staffed. Georgia is one of the worst places to get much needed care. I tell my friend to just be patient. Sad to say, there are no amounts of patient to deal with this poorly run hospital. What a disgrace.

Karen Tanksley

Everyone was wonderful. They treated me with dignity and respect. My nurse in Same Day Surgery, Renae was compassionate. She had a wonderful personality.

Tammy Skinner

Went into er and all the staff there were wonderful, ended up I was a lot sicker than I had thought they placed me on the 3rd floor and all my nurse's and doctors were great ,I had been there for a few days and was getting better they transfered me to another room on the same floor but the nurse wasn't as nice or pleasant ,she was rude and nasty ,my room was across from the nurse's station ,I heard most of her nasty comments from laying there I was trying to contact the visitors I knew were coming where I'd been moved too heard her saying I was trying to call someone to pick me up yes I felt better and was ready to go home but the doctor thought I should stay so that's what I planned to do ,the nurse kept making comments about my last nurse which was great to me ,asked what my dad had brought which was food he left and another visitor came she came in and asked if I still wanted my meds I said yes and then saw her make a face and left came back with meds and then caused us of smoking weed in the room I asked her if people really did that there wasn't any weed in my room that was ridiculous she brought the head nurse in they looked like the police running into my room but I already had heard conversations about patients just laying in my bed I ended up leaving with nurse Julia telling me I was gonna pay for this and she's right I will because everyone before nurse Julia and head nurse Shannon we're great ,I'm home with no meds a stint in my kidney because I was sick I wasn't there to get high and she treated me like I was an drug addict or something but I had been there I can't say what my visitor did before visiting me my point is I had a great nurse's and doctors but two people got me so upset that I left hope I can still see my doctors but after listening to them I'm so sorry for anyone that has to be taken care of by them they are rude people who love conflict and drama I was there to get well not be apart of it but they don't seem to know how to be professional my stay at 349was wonderful but 321 was a nightmare but it was only 3 hours and I left putting myself and my health at risk ,I went to find someone to talk to and complain but it was and was told they're wouldn't be anyone that I could speak with so I hate to give a low rating because only 3 hours was bad bUT nurse Julia and head nurse Shannon I hope you lean to be more professional you bring bad reviews and patients that would rather walk away than be treated disrespectful

nicole tindol

There is a total of 3 good nurses at this facility everyone else is very rude and impatient with the patient. Ive been here 5 times and not once was it a good experience. If you feel sick or you are hurt i suggest you try to make your way to one of the hospitals in savannah.

KinG Dee

Avoid this hospital at ALL costs, suffered from permanent "member" damage due to untimeliness and straight-up not caring attitudes from the nurses and doctors. You'd be better off finding a homeless man to operate on you, atleast they'd be more timely than the doctors, sure of course they wouldn't even do a remotely good job but it's not like the doctors did either, so the homeless man would take the cake. Drive to Savannah or elsewhere, just whatever you do DON'T GO HERE, especially if you're in need of a serious procedure that needs to be done ASAP and NOT the NEXT DAY IN THE AFTERNOON WHENEVER THEY FEEL LIKE DOING IT. There's a special place in hell for East Georgia, I'm not the type to ever right reviews, in fact this is my first Google review so please trust me when I say this, you will suffer coming here!

Leighton Clarke

The service is extremely rude and unprofessional. A nurse in the ER made fun of a friend that was there with me within earshot of us and the wait was extremely long for how busy it was.

Jaimee Collins

Awful place. I haven't had to go to the ER since I was a child. They gave me very little information, didn't inform me of separate billing, just gave me medicine and didn't check anything about what was wrong but now they want all this money for basically seeing me and having a conversation while writing perscriptions. Literally nothing else was done. Inform your patients on what to expect instead of treating them like a number. Rather die than come back here. The service was abysmal.

Mary Love

I’m from Arkansas, in Statesboro for my cousins wedding and began running fever and feeling terrible. I went into the ER at East Georgia and was greeted immediately and got paperwork out of the way in a couple minutes. They brought me straight back to triage and then into a exam room. The staff here is very thourough and checked me for everything I was already thinking of. Turned out I have pneumonia and so glad they ran the tests and X-rays needed. They got me back in the game today and on the mend. Thank you all that assisted me today and soecial thanks to my nurse Teresa and Doc Andew. Y’all Rock!!!

Mark Hendley

My husband was in a very terrible automobile accident. They did some tests, gave him some medicine and sent him home. This is one of the worst hospitals that a person can go to for treatment. You are better off driving or being transferred to Savannah or Augusta. It is one of the Most expensive hospitals! I just dont understand how they charge a person so much, but does very little. It is very sad when your emergency room bill for several hours at EGRMC is more than Memorial Health or Augusta Health. Something needs to be done. There are some good staff that works there, but sometimes it feels like trying to find a needle in an haystack!

lizz Williams

Rude staff that treat the patient horribly

Kellen Hillpot

If I could rate them no stars that's absolutely what I would do..found out there was no insurance and unhooked IVs and wouldn't tend to the patient. AWFUL! RUDE!!!!! WORST NURSES EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Josh Russell

All I am trying to do is get my medical records!!! Mother of lord! They keep hanging up after I hit the “1 option” through the medical records option.

Asia Watkins

Gave it a one just so that I can leave a review. Had a horrible journey at this hospital regarding my birth and c section. My child has had stomach issues since we left the hospital. Just found a bandaid that they put on her in her poop! They need to be more careful where they stick bandaids and be more watchful of newborns activity ! Something bad can seriously happen at this hospital. The CNA and RNs do no listen to their patients and what they are expieriencing. My tech ran into a door prior to directing me back to get a c section and blamed it on her not having coffee that morning. Worst hospital. Go elsewhere if you can !

A.C. Chase

Could not treat pneumonia after 2 weeks. They transferred patient to Savannah. Food was horrible and on a 1 week rotation menu. CNA didn’t wipe the patience down properly to prevent sores. Staff scrolling through Facebook. Primary Doctor could not up date the family what was needed, progress, plans or goal for patient. Jan. 2019

Kay Z

I only come here because of my pregnancy and this is the nearest hospital the women’s center is nice but the rest of the hospital and the ER is horrible, RUDE, and slow!! I got diagnosed incorrectly because they were trying to rush me out of a room for someone else while still disoriented and I didn’t find out until I got to my OB!! I even checked their official hospital rating and it’s ridiculously low. Even other college students I know say the exact same! I hate I didn’t follow up and report or file a complaint but I was extremely sick and I was more concerned about my health. God forbid I ever have to go to their ER...I recommend going to Pooler or Savannah.

Charles Walker

If you care about your family members please skip this hospital. The doctors here have no Idea what they are doing. As a resident of this area I think this place should be avoided until they are forced to hire more competent staff. The lack of communication in this place is utterly mind boggling. The doors get locked at 9pm by the way but you better get here early if you want to take the risk.

Madison Hamilton

I WANT TO GIVE A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO SAME DAY SURGERY AND OR STAFF FOR TAKING SUCH GREAT CARE OF MY SON BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER HIS SURGERY! I AM BEYOND IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED. PAT WAS OUR NURSE IN SAME DAY. SHE SMILED THROUGH MY CHILD SCREAMING. CECIL BROUGHT MY HUSBAND A CHAIR BECAUSE WE ONLY HAD ONE IN THE ROOM. JENNIFER WAS CONSISTENTLY CHECKED ON US WHILE WE WERE THERE! IT WAS EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Mehtube

You call and politely explain the reason for the call to the clerk. Before you finish your sentence they will transfer you to an extension that does not accept messages. You’ll hear the automated voice say that the extension isn’t set up just before it hangs up on you. They are rude, unprofessional hacks who are the only option in town so they feel they can treat you however they want. A lot of the time the line will just ring and ring. I guess the presumption is we should be grateful they decided to answer in the first place. If the staff answering calls are expendable, as I’m sure they are, management should clean house and fire them all. Start a new culture there. They would be doing the hospital a huge, huge favor with very little effort.

Irene Ammon

This was the worse stay I have ever had here.. Rude rude uneducated nurses...what happened I 3 months. Will go to Savannah or Vidalia from now on...I was termanial I'll and wasn't allowed to be sick

Humberto Lopez Núñez

The worst hospital ever. I was very disappointed today. My child’s pediatrician sent me to this place so my daughter could be seen and be transferred to Memorial because she was having Malfunction Shunt symptoms or either something else was going on with her. They stick her 3 times for IV with no luck, and all the nurse said was leave it to the profesaional (I think she meant the Memorial nurses) and I also waited for three hours to be transferred by ambulance to Memorial in Savannah. My planed were to take her Memorial myself but Ped don’t let me do it. I’m writing this comment from the inside of the ambulance. So hopefully she will be okay when I get there.

Glenda Carter

I got an infection from bacteria that grows on medical equipment during surgery. Disgusting wound on leg that left permanent hole. Most painful experience of my life. Filing Malpractice claim.

Olivia Dees

They got me mixed up with a suicidal patient so when my friend came to pick me up they told her I couldn’t leave. At the same time another nurse told me (very rudely) to leave even though I couldn’t stand.

reagan thomas

My Grandmother was taken to East Ga Medical Center by ambulance because she was in excruciating pain with high blood pressure and could not move what so ever. The nurse Brandi came in and seemed very sweet at first. Placed an Iv and began to draw blood. She then left. The Doctor, Ian Munger, came in, barely touched my grandmother and said it’s inflamation(arthritis). I work at a hospital so I just decided to walk around the room and I found the blood sitting by the nurses computer. When she walked in me and my family proceeded to ask, why no blood work was taken and she said the doctor said he isn’t ordering blood work because their was no indication of an emergency. He ordered two steroid shots though. He came in and tried to explain himself, the end result was if it non-emergent they don’t do blood work, basically they won’t get paid but it was emergent and he refused. Had the nerve to say “like everyone else unfortunately she is going to die someday, you can’t keep her alive forever.” The nurse was very rude at this point. Rolling her eyes, and making remarks that were inappropriate. By the end of the visit we ended up taking my Grandmother out in a wheelchair on our own and reporting Brandi to the ER manager. Worst visit yet, if I can make it to Savannah I will. She will not keep going here not getting the proper treatment. We are now at home and she is still in pain. Thanks for nothing EGMC.

Kelly Simmons

The staff in day surgery are very polite, helpful, and just all around wonderful people. They took time to explain to me everything and also took time to comfort me in an uncomfortable time . Not only do they take great care of me but my family as well. Ms Renee Deal and Ms Kathy Jenkins are two of the best people I have had the pleasure of meeting and thank you very much for taking such great care of me.

shannette Archer-Fann

Delivery staff was amazing. Very knowledgeable and patient. My daughter was with me and they made her feel like one of the crew. My doctor was out that weekend but the on call Doctor (Hiller) was awesome.

Rometta Wilson

One star is too much for this horrible place. It is completely and utterly filthy. I feel sicker now than ever before. The food was old and stale. My meat was undercooked and cold. They wouldn't get me a cup of ice for my hot drink they gave me. I told them that I was deathly allergic to fish but what do they bring me, FISH!!!!! I gave them a list of my medications and they didn't give me any of my medications. I'll let the pictures do the talking. I would not wish this place on my worst enemy. The nurse on the floor was nice but the overall care was just not to standards. This place is all about making money but not putting in the work to raise their standards.

Orchid Davis

Absolutely Horrible!!!! If you want to die fast this is the place to come

Brian Smith

The ER wait is atrociously long. You may get triaged and given a room, but receiving care takes hours at best. The nurses seem incompetent, understaffed, and under trained. They give you unnecessary test, medication, and so forth in order to pad your bill. Even when you get a diagnoses to be released, it takes hours before they give you the release paper and no matter the amount of complaining, you're the a-hole. To them, your a gnat buzzing around. The doctors never make rounds, and the times they do are so late, you've already dealt with the issues on your own, albeit in a bad and terrible manner. They take forever to give you test ordered, purposely in order to keep you longer to charge for extra days. As well, they have a really bad system set up, so it runs badly. Nothing they do at this hospital is done without dollar signs as the immediate thought. As if they go around asking themselves, "Can we charge the patient MORE if we do this instead of this?" even if it's the worse health care option. They bill the patient before even billing the insurance companies in hopes to double dip and get multiple payments for the same services. For instance my father has medicare and BC/BS, yet they bill him the total amount every time. When he calls and ask how he owes anything more than a few dollars, (medicare covers 80%, and BC/BS covers 90% of the 20% left over), they apologize and make excuses. They V.A. has paid them, only for them to admit to losing the payment, but still demand I repay them. Totally incompetent. Will start going to Savannah unless it is absolute dire we use EGR.

Cs Lau

Already waited for almost an hour for the volunteers to call me to the admission booth for even an appointment for a test that I already set up over the phone 3 days ago. Is my time has any value for this people?

Trinette Rosales

Wasn't sure about this hospital after seeing reviews, but we had to get our daughter somewhere quick .She attends GSU and we live 2 hrs away, we had her friends take her here as we drove to get there. They saw her immediately, ran several test, blood.work, X-rays Ultrasound etc. Super impressed. The time it took us to get there they had run all the test and Doctor had even reviewed all the results. So I was very impressed! Thank you! And our girl is going to be good!

Beth Simmons

My dad went to the cardiac cath lab today and the whole team did an amazing caring for him both physically and emotionally! He has had excellent care from med-surg, the cath lab, and CCU!

Sherry Roberson

Since December 2018, I have been in day surgery 3 times with Dr. Vu and her excellent team! I just want to give a shout out to their excellent care and attention that they gave me each time! They each deserve 5 stars!

Jen Lyn

Get into the hospital room and there’s someone’s vile of blood lying on the floor by the bed and the little plastic pieces from off needles all over the floor. Disgustingly dirty!

Pamela Bland

I had a very pleasant experience at the Outpatient Center on June 17, 2019. All of my Nurses were very friendly, caring, and accommodating. Thank you for all you did to take care of me!

VLOG BY MCINTOSH

My son was there for a little over a day, the staff treated us well. Very professional and caring nurse Carsen, tech Cassandra and Dr Crews, and the rest of the team, thank you guys for the experience.

CRandle

Maybe I went on a good day, because, despite what most of the reviews about this hospital say, I had a pretty good experience here. I went in to the ER for a fever and dizziness, and they got me in immediately (there was no one else waiting anyway, so maybe I would have gotten in soon even if it was not an emergency). I was given everything I needed until the nurses and techs were able to perform their tests. I got 4 tests total, and didn't have to wait long in between each one. After all was said and done, the Dr. knew exactly what was wrong with me, and prescribed the appropriate medication (which was correct, because I am back to feeling 100% better). Afterward, I talked with the financial counselor about paying my bill, and she helped give me an estimate. Total time spent from start to finish: 3 hours. Truly, I was shocked at how quick, friendly, and professional the staff was; far exceeded my expectations for an ER. I don't know what kind of stuff really goes on here to make so many people give such bad reviews, but for my experience, I thank everyone at EGR for their hard work and help to make me feel better. You all did great for me! 5 stars.

John Meeks

This hospital is a joke. Dr. Sullivan had my daughter scheduled to come in on Sunday at 7pm to have her baby. The pavilion center didn't know anything about it. They kept telling us to call back, when we would call it was always call back later. We're from out of town so we had to rent a motel room for the night. They kept saying they were busy and didn't have room for her, so we finally just went back to motel. The hospital and Dr. Sullivan were not on the same page at all. We wasted $150 on motel rooms because they were supposed to take her Sunday evening not Monday morning. Very disappointed in the pavilion center. I would recommend a different hospital to have your baby

Dhru Shah

Did not treat the girl who I love right did not bring her coffee at night or a mattress They also believed she was the mom Fire everyone at the hospital

Sue Newman

Very satisfied with the care my husband received!! The nurses were really on top of it!! Maybe he had great doctors and that made his stay pleasant!! My husband had two heart attacks and stents ,. Every thing went beautiful!!!

sophie schnell

needs new management... staff is run horribly. er wait times are horrible... may as well drive out to the hospital in Savannah...

Jenny Maddi

We had to take my 2.5 year old son to the Emergency Department last night. It was, as always amazing service. They were kind to us and him, got us into the back as soon as they could (we only waited about 5 min in the waiting room) They checked on us often and made sure they explained everything. Thank you Madison, Kelly W., Kelly H. , and Dr. Sommers. Again you exceeded all our expectations. I am happy we have such kind caring staff members in our community to take care of us.

Vanessa Franquez

Staff was extremely rude. They even laughed and snickered while we asked how much longer we had to wait. The only good thing about this hospital was the doctor that helped us as well as the 2 nurses that assisted. You have a better chance at surviving if you go to any other hospital.

Amy Carter

Hospital Staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. They were very courteous and thorough in diagnosing and treating my illness. If I ever need further care I will definitely use this facility. I recommend this hospital to anyone in Emergency Care situations as well as general care. The staff treats you like family.

Joel Martin

You always hear the bad about hospitals, but that was not my experience. From the very beginning they were concerned, caring and treated me that way. I stayed 6 days everyone was great from that Doctors, nurses and techs. Could not expect better treatment at any other hospital.

John R O'Malley

The process of going from the waiting area to the cardiac rehab center took 50 minutes. Almost all of this was waiting to go to registration to confirming insurance and payment which took about 5 minutes. I understand that someone else waited 75 minutes to do the same thing earlier in the day. This is not excellent service and adding another clerk to registration would greatly reduce this time and improve service a lot.

Andy Salame

Got an IV and I was there for 6 hours getting it done wirh the bill ended up being 5 grand. Don’t go here

Amber

Third time coming here, and seriously hope it’s the last! All three times we had to come here because it’s the only ER in statesboro, but it’s awful! Basically just a repeat of every other 1 star on here so I won’t waste my time.

Worst wait time I have ever had to experience in a hospital. My mother had surgery here and we waited for 5 hours for her to get a room post surgery. We couldn't see her until she got a room. Staff lied saying they were getting her a room it would be ready in 30 minutes waited an hour to get told it'd be another 45 minutes for her to get into the room. If you need surgery do it somewhere else where you don't have such a long wait time and your family can see you in a timely manner after surgery.

Doesn't accept Ambetter Insurance which is owned by Centene which insures the hospital staff.

Mr H. T. Went to the EGRMC ER due to chest pain and difficulty with breathing. He was quickly seen by admissions clerk and then. Triage Nurse. He was then taking to a treatment room where a nurse came in and took his vitals. DR. Bowers then came in and ordered chest X Ray, EKG and blood work. Everyone was very professional and kind and caring. When he mentioned he was cold a nurse brought in 2 warm blankets that warmed him up right away. All staff explained what they were doing and were more then kind and friendly in treating him. Fortunately it was determined that He had Acute Bronchitis and given 2 prescriptions and told to call if He needed anything more. I would rate the treatment and care That he was given as A+. And I thank all who cared for my husband so well and kindly.

As a family member trying to bring needed items to my spouse, the night security guard was rude and using profanity, as if we don't have enough stress and worry, but now have to deal with being cussed at by the security people,, admin needs to contract a different company ,,

Terrible place to work. All The head employees are in cahoots with each other and they run things illegally. They aren’t doing things for the best interest of the hospital or it’s employees and CERTAINLY NOT for it’s patients..... solely for their own interest and benefit. PISS POOR way to run a hospital if you ask me. CHRISTOPHER TURNER and DILLION LEVIN are uptight old racist single men that have nothing better to do than to make their employees miserable. So when I was offered a better position within the hospital,They did everything in their power to stop my employment with the other employer...which was illegal and unprofessional and MIKE BLACK assisted in their nonsense and allowed for it to happen, when contractually I was eligible to work for the other company( that already hired me!) and there wasn’t anything legally hindering me from starting work this month. So I will be taking legal action for the discrimination I endured and the wages I’ve lost in the process. And I will be advocating on every social media and doing everything in my power to spread the word that THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO WORK OR COME, and I have nothing but time to do so.

WAS MISDIAGNOSED 3X HERE AFTER WAITING HRS.. WENT TO ST JOSEPH'S, AN HRS DRIVE AND OBVIOUSLY ILL TO BE TREATED. RUDE NURSES AND DOCTORS. ACT VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. OH THEY ALSO HAVE NO REAL DIABETES MEDICINES IN THEIR LAB SO IF YOU'RE THERE FROM AN EMERGENCY BRING YOUR OWN INSULIN OR PREPARE IN ADVANCE WITH YOUR DOCTOR TO GET JUST YOUR INSULIN PRESCRIBED. THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE INSULIN THAT TAKES HRS TO WORK. THE KIND THAT WAS POPULAR DECADES AGO.

I've seen better service and competence from an 8 year old playing doctor with a broken stethoscope. These so called medical professionals made my wife and daughter, who had just left the ER with severe abdominal pains and a probable diagnosis of apendicitis, wait for 5 hours BEFORE they even ran a test. The entire staff was rude and nasty whenever they were questioned about anything. They wound up saying she had a burst cyst and she would be discharged. No meds, no help what's so ever, just a ton of wasted time. This hospital should be closed and the employees should have their licenses revoked.

Ok so today I had surgery at east Georgia and I will admit I was scared from all the terrible reviews but I will say I had the most amazing experience. Everyone was so great and my nurse Christine was amazing she made everything go so smoothly and was so caring. She completely talked me out of a panic attack and eased all my worries. Thank you so much!! Everyone there was great, fron the registration desk, to volunteers, all the nurses and drs. I didn’t receive anything but caring faces and smiles. Thank you east Georgia!!

This used to be a good hospital but has gone so downhill! If you are able to go somewhere else, I advise you to. They will provide you with HORRIBLE service and overcharge you for it. Pathetic excuse for an ER.

They kick me out of my room and put me in the back waiting room. I'm assuming they forgot about me because I was back there for hours just seeing if I had the flu or strep. I went up to a nurse and ask for ice and a blanket and they refused to give me a blanket. Then they sent me home saying nothing was wrong. I can barely talk and my throat burns.

You are better off figuring out whatever situation it is on your own. From child birth to surgery to pediatrics. You will have better luck googling it yourself

Was there with my daughter and we couldn't have asked for better care. Zero wait time before being taken to the back and then saw the doctor within minutes. Very satisfied with the care she received and friendly staff. Love this place!

Statesboro is fortunate to have this hospital that serves a large region of people. Our experience is positive, and staff was professional . It is clean- that means so much for quality care.

Worst hospital in Ga....unprofessional rude rude rude....OnLy in ER. I should have stopped going there with my gallbladder incident. I was in so much pain and the ambulance brought me. I sat in the waiting room for hours on the floor in pain...remind you I was there two days before but they said my liver was too bad to get my gallbladder removed. NO HELP until I literally begged....Today no pain but went to triage to explain my problem the nurse cut me off an said the nurse will check it in a I don't give a damn attitude. Walked passed 10 empty rooms but was put in a suicide room. I asked why they said other rooms are full

I had a great experience at the Medical Services Center, Endoscopy department. Had to have a colonoscopy done and all the staff was very nice and willing to help. Nurses very knowledgeable and caring. We had to travel for hour and a half one way, because I couldn't find a closer gastroenterologist in network with my health plan, but it was so worth it. I highly recommend this hospital for this kind of procedure. Dr. Dorvillus is great!!

Access Gastro Clinic

Doctors and extremely well trained and Nurses and the support are excellent- There is no need to transfer out to another hospital if you come here.

My daughter, a student at GSU, went into the hospital after suffering ill affects from eating out with friends. She visited the ER and told the staff that she had eaten out and was now suffering nausea and wanted some relief. She also made them aware that she was a student and had to pay out of pocket because this hospital was not covered by her insurance. They told her that she needed a battery of tests that included, despite her protestations, a pregnancy test and CT scans. she told them that this was unnecessary because she was not sexually active. Unbeknownst to her, the tests were ordered any way and as she waited and was eventually seen, she was pressured into going along with the process. In the end, they merely wrote her a prescription for an OTC anti nausea medication and sent her home. I actually understood that attending not taking her word as it pertained to a lack of sexual activity, but she was telling the truth in this case and they ran up a huge bill for just writing a prescription. Despite being notified that she had to pay out of pocket, this sorry excuse for a medical institution sent my daughter bills totaling about $3000,00 for a visit where she was just given a prescription and sent home!! They also would not provide a detailed bill! Beware this place and avoid it totally, if you can!

Becky, the receptionist in women's Pavilion was very rude and unprofessional. People like her make the entire department look bad. However the nurses was awesome.
