Excellent hospital. Every experience I've had here has been positive.

Worst hospital! My relative was in there for 8 days because they were too slow and stupid to figure out what was wrong. They treated for something he didn’t even have. The care there was pathetic and the nurses incompetent. He came out worse then when he went in. Also, I tried to get a form needed for supplemental insurance for almost 3 months and still haven’t received it. Multiple calls with promises. They have all sorts of excuses, None valid. The whole hospital is incompetent.

Your nurses and anesthesiologists should be trained to know the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. There is a BIG difference. They should also know about insulin pumps, CGM’s, and the different types of insulin. We encountered several nurses and anesthesiologists today and all of them were clueless about these items, what they do and how they work. The RN, Lisa, in the surgical rapid IN/OUT was not friendly and did not show any care or concern. She got an attitude and was quite rude when we asked for help.

My husband had outpatient retina surgery just over a week ago and his experience with this hospital was outstanding. His retina specialist, Dr. Membreno, performed the operation, which had a successful result. As a family member, I was kept informed throughout my husband’s stay, of his status. Every hospital employee was incredibly kind, efficient and professional and attended to my husband’s every need before and after surgery. I rely on Google reviews for information and felt compelled to share our experience.

I really needed to speak to a pastor and I was told he's busy well I can believe that because the hospital had so many people in the emergency room and we all need someone to comfort us during a time that we did not want to face. No hospital is a good place. I know that the people care but they don't know how to direct you to the proper ways because I've seen it a thousand times. There was one person that made me feel wonderful because of the things that was going through she is the lady that gives her time to the hospital. Most gracious Lady of all that works at the Florida Hospital. I will say thank you to her most of all.

My mother was hospitalized two weeks ago with heart problems. She didn't survive the whole ordeal but we can say with all honesty in the world, that the staff did all what they could to make my mother's last days better. We are thankful to the nurse Randall and Dr. Patel (cardiologist). We are heartbroken but we know that we all did everything in our power to make her whole. Thank you.

I have been going to this hospital since 2002. Had a kidney transplant on 2004 they were amazing, great doctors, great staff the care was incredible. In 2011 they saved my life, i had a hysterectomy and a had a hernia fixed and one of the doctors poked a hole in my intestine, all waste went into my stomach and i almost died, those doctors fought for me and saved my life. But i went this time on Tuesday 11/20/2018, because my dialysis graft was clotted had not had dialysis since Friday 11/16. Ha d some complications with high potassium, had to get a catheter and have dialysis before they even attempted my surgery. Dr. Werner in the ER and Dr. Desai were amazing, I loved those doctors, they cared about my well being and tried everything to try and get me home before Thanksgiving to spend time with the family. But the night nurses were completely lost, I was being pumped with prednisone was in NPO (no food waiting on a surgery that was not happening) the night nurses cancelled the surgery in error, because they did not know how to read dates of labs and results. When Dr. Desai and Dr. Werner saw this they changed me to a different room on a higher floor, the nurses there were amazing Nurse Suzanna and Heather in the 8th floor, gave me back the faith in the hospital, they went above and beyond the call of duty. I was in room 8225. I finally had the surgery on Saturday 11/24, yes had to spend Thanksgiving in the hospital, could not even get left overs for the incompetence of nurse Iodine and nurse Mingli. On Saturday 11/24 I had to beg to have the catheter removed t be able to come home, they dialyzed me for an hour and a half to make sure dialysis graft was working and finally removed catheter. but the standing physician Dr. Merriweather that was covering for Dr. Werner would not sign my discharge, even though I explained I was suppose to go home that day per Dr. Werner and Dr. Desai, I had to sign an against medical advise form to be bale to get discharged, even though I was told by my doctors i could leave after surgery and after catheter was removed, I left hospital at 7pm, no breakfast, no lunch no dinner, and doctor didn't even give me a script for pain, after seeing me crying in my hospital room, explaining i had to leave cause i would loose my job if I didn't get home by last night, he asked me will you be able to work with so much pain, and I said I have to, or we will be homeless, since I care for a mentally ill husband. He said OK, if they remove the catheter you can go. Well nephrology removed catheter, nurse Heather called him and told him, ti was removed that I needed pain medication, cause I was going home to work. The doctor not only didn't he give me no medication he wouldn't sign my discharge papers. It was the worst experience of my life. I signed the AMA and left in pain to work. I want to give a hoot hoot to nurse heather and Nurse Suzanna they went above and beyond, they even felt bad I had to sign the AMA, but it was out of their hands. I just wish Dr. Uday Desai and Dr. Erin Werner see this review. they are 2 of the best doctor's I have known, they still care for their patients, and I know they will feel as bad as I do about what happened to me in this hospital stay. I am working to get on transplant list, so i don't have to go thru this again, But I will return to hospital and make sure to ask for these doctors, if i find out they work in another facility, i would probably go see them there. Just called the number for Dr. Merriweather, that nurse heather gave me to follow up on the prescription he was supposed to call into Walgreens, spoke to his emergency answering service and she flat out said they cant help me, that for me to reach out to hospital or call back on Monday when the doctor is in. To see if he can help me with the prescription. Thank you so much for your care and understanding. Will just rough out the pain, and work with arm propped on a pillow, as long as i can move fingers, i can type and do my work.

This hospital has changed for the worst. My sister had been at this hospital for 8 days now, and she has been recieving the worst treatment ever. She was there 7 days without a working emergency call button (which because I demanded it get fix they finally fix it last night). The food service is a joke they dont send you what you order and then they have the nerve to get mad when you complain about the utensils still having food for prior meals which was happening at every meals occurence. Then I call the administration on duty and once I said my sisters room number they hung up on me. Its unreal....

I was just discharged from the Physician Surgical Care Center for shoulder surgery and started having wired feels in my under arms and chest area. We went to the ER at Advent Health Orlando and they took charge completely. I was in A-Fib. From the time we rolled into ER to my 3 day stay there. Excellent care from the Cardiologist team in the ER and the hospital and all doctors involved. All my nurses were awesome and very caring, the test teams, the ones who took me to the different testings and of course the ones who feed me Were so wonderful, nice and very caring. They all took great care of me and also took care of my shoulder surgery as well. They all have my heart and i give them all my love and blessings. Ava G Mitchell

Hats Off to the Doctors and Nurses along with Staff are Great. Food was good. Coffee okay. Someone get me a Starbucks. The Care the nurses gave was wonderful. If you be in a hospital this is a good place for that.

Miriam Robinson

My dad was there for a few days and while he was there the experience was great but my negative rate is after the fact when he was discharged I called to speak with a nurse on the 7th floor to find out which home care was he referred to and the guy who answered sounded like he’s from the Philippines, well when he answered I acknowledged who I was and explained what I wanted and his response was “um we are on our lunch and we don’t have time to answer your questions so find someone else to call”, so I became furious and asked if you so damn busy then why you answered the phone and that’s when him and people in the background started laughing so I just hung up because I was getting upset

Jessica Mendez

Took great care of my dad, wish I could remember everyone’s names. But I do remember Anna, RN oncology palliative nurse making him her special oatmeal in the middle of the night when he couldn’t sleep. And Micheal, RN in ICU playing soothing music on his personal phone to help him relax. Connie, NP making sure he had orders to keep him comfortable. Respiratory MDs Dr. Haam I think is the spelling and Dr. Monsood sp? doing everything they could. Respiratory therapists and so many others were professional and took care of him as if he were their family member. Everyone that took care of him went above and beyond what was expected, and our family will be forever grateful.

People are nice and nurses are professional beautiful carring people.

Staff is very friendly and helpful...from the front desk to housekeeping.

I went to the er today because I am having extremely bad pain in my knee after surgery which was over 3 weeks ago I used to be able to put weight on it now I can’t. I sat in the pediatric er for hours all they said while I’m balling my eyes out in pain was that they don’t do CT’s or mris for anything else but spinal injuries. So all they did was an X-ray and send “you’re fine”. They sent me home in extreme pain.. If you have a child how has injuries or anything do not go here go to Nemours Children’s Hospital or arnald palmer they are way better...

My mother was just released yesterday after having an aortic valve replaced by Dr Accola & his team. There are not enough positive words in my vocabulary to express what a positive experience we have had. EVERYONE at this hospital is nothing but a blessing! From the housekeeping & cafeteria staff to the surgeons, they were all so personal, caring & compassionate. The nursing staff were the sweetest, most personable yet professional people I have come across in a hospital setting. My appreciation & thankfulness to AdventHealth & it’s complete staff for doing a great job in hiring, training & creating an environment that exudes Christian love & compassion. NICE JOB!!! We appreciate YOU!!

This place is exactly what is wrong with healthcare: all money based, no healing, and a numbers game. I told them I went to the emergency room for severe head to toe pain cramping and shooting pains which had left me in bed for the past week. I went to the emergency room and the nurse Jayni was so negligent she did not even do my full vitals and the doctors care was so substandard he came in for less than two minutes he told me there’s nothing he can do and then he referred me to a patient care coordinator to see a specialist. As a health care professional I began to cry because he saw I was in so much pain and he did not prescribe any antinflammatories. My copay is almost $600 to go to the hospital for DR. Matto to tell me there’s nothing they can do there is absolutely more that they could have done. I submitted a complaint about nurse Jayni and Dr. Matto. Then I demanded to see the director but they were not available so then the head nurse Laura came to assist and actually did her job by giving me a Medrol pack , Gabapentin, and doing my vitals. The only apology I got was from Trifanny at discharge. They dont care they will let patients walk out with pain this is purely a money motivated company who cannot handle the volume of patients. This is not the healing ministry of Christ. This is a profit mill with the patients being used and abused.

Everyone is so nice and pleasant

No matter what phone # called for the Advent Health Sports & Rehab - NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE or if by chance they do - you are placed on hold for unacceptable times. Very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carl Farnam

Very clean. Staff are very friendly and give you great service. Rather come Florida hospitals than go to ORMC if given the choice!

Maria Ruiz

They have wheelchairs for patients going for surgery and no one to assist a patient. I have Multiple Sclerosis and had to push my husband because he was very dizzy. This is unacceptable.

My mother in law was transported here for heart problems and I'm glad she was! She had the best care and the nurses and the rest of the staff on different floors for cardiology were amazing! At times we couldn't be there they kept us informed of everything that was going on and in person as well. She had one heart valve replaced and one repaired and we went through a tough time with her being there for so long and recooperating, they cared for her so we'll. When she was finally released over time it was sad to go from this hospital cause not other facilities show the same compassion for patients as they do at AdventHealth Orlando. We thank you so much for everything you did so my mother in law can spend many mores years with us living a great life!

The doctors and nurses are awesome! But now I want to explain the scam this hospital runs not to mention the harrassment from the billing department. The hospital sent a lady to my wife's room harassing her for payment multiple times. The hospital will promise you a 20% discount off your hospital bill if you pay in full based on your out of packet maximum with the medical insurance company. My out of pocket maximum is $4800 so they said if I paid $3840 I wouldn't need to worry about anything else because I would have paid in full. This is where the scam comes in. The hospital makes it sound like everything is covered but that charge doesn't include doctor's bills. Their charge is only for the hospital. So what the hospital does is wait weeks to bill your insurance so all the doctor's bills are processed first with the insurance company before the hospital bill is processed. So guess what happens? By the time the hospital bills the insurance you end up owing far less than the $3840 because the hospital intentionally waited to bill my insurance. In my case I only owed the hospital around $1,000 because I reached my out of pocket max because they waited so long to bill my insurance. I now have thousands in doctor bills I need to pay. Now I gotta wait for a partial refund and I gotta pray they do it correctly. The lesson here is DO NOT PAY THE HOSPITAL ANYTHING UNTIL THEY BILL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY. DON'T LET THEM COME IN YOUR HOSPITAL ROOM AND HARRASE YOU FOR PAYMENT. The hospital should be ashamed of themselves for bothering sick patients for money and I will be going to a local news station and telling them in full detail what happened. If the hospital reads my message they know exactly what I am talking about. STOP GOING ROOM TO ROOM WANTING PAYMENT IN FULL WITH YOUR BS 20% DISCOUNT! YOU GUYS TOTALLY SCREWED ME OVER!

Nursing staff was amazing!

Good morning everyone. I am from the Bronx, new York and I am researching the hospitals in the area I would like to move to. I am achronic asthmatic and I need to know ow that the asthma Drs are as good over there as they are here and that I won't be denied my asthma medication because they think something will work better. I have family down there and they suggested researching this one and the one in celebration. I can not afford to play around with my asthma. But the air quality is much better down there for my asthma. Can someone help me with on it? It would be very Mich appreciated.

I am baffled by the negative reviews. I have been a patient at this hospital on a couple of occasions and always received excellent care. Recently, I had a cardiac ablation at Advent Health. The checkin process was easy and fast. The nursing staff that cared for me prior to, during, and after the procedure was awesome. The food was good and people who came to room to serve the meals were friendly. The hospital doctor that came to my room to check on me prior to check out was friendly. The check out process was easy.

Sally S

They don’t require their employees to be vaccinated.

Franklin Hagy

I had open heart surgery. The doctors and staff could not have been any more caring or compassionate to me and my family. They live there mission statement!

JOHN Danenberg

Went for an outpatient procedure was admitted on time. Everything went smoothly and staff and doctor were friendly and professional. I recommend this hospital if you need one.

Iraina Briganty-Vidal

My mother has been cared for in the neurology critical care unit and they have been absolutely amazing. The nurses have been so caring and helpful. The staff as a whole have really made the experience not be so scary. Thank you

Carlos Madera

Great place

Jeffrey Kulick

Amazing facility amazing caregivers here they can will and do find the right person for your situation whatever it may be or level of severity I don't like giving out personal information but the situation that has me here now easily could have cost me my life and with coming into this situation with severe complications from a previous ailment I will actually be leaving in better shape then when I was healthy which is a miracle in itself

Rub Hdz

They saved my daughters life. We are most grateful for the excellent care provided!!!

Danny

The ER Dr's billing broke the law and sent our disabled sons medicaid bill to collections, which is illegal. Fl Emerg Phys Kang & Assoc. I've read some reviews online and we aren't the first they've done this to. Very disappointed! The hospital was great, the separate Drs billing is NOT. Very nice facility. Shame about shady Drs billing practices.

Mark Billings

Best care in Orlando, the floor staff is incredible. Personally this is the only healthcare organization I use and they have locations throughout Central Florida with many specialties, including a heart institute and cancer institute. By far the most advanced in specialties in Orlando.

Britney Schettini

I've been here for 3 days now and for 3 days I've been telling Dr. Fernandez and Dr. Mottley that the pain medication that they're giving me isn't working and they're still not doing anything about my pain so for 3 days I've been sitting in pain. Not to mention Dr. Fernandez haven't even bothered to come see me or anything. Tomorrow I will be going to Winnie Palmer. Also I will be filing a complaint with the hospital and the board of medicine because this is no way to treat a sickle cell patient.

John MacCracken

RUDE FRONT DESK STAFF IN THE Er. The doctor talks to you for 2 minutes . Nurse with BEARD Rude a real rude. Worst hospital in Orlando Florida. Transporters very Nice.ct workers. The on staff doctor a jerk !!! Stay clean of the hospital.

Claire

ER staff is amazing, absolutely everyone was really nice and efficient from nurses, Drs, techs and support staff!!!!

Ihsan Allman

I live in Boston and we're known as the mecca of medicine, quality care and having great hospitals. Florida Hospital South offers the same level of service that I'm used to. The staff is professional and value the patients that are there. This is were you wany to be if your in need of good health care services. Great job!

nehemiahpaul perez

I'm not a particular fan of physicians from my experience, but these folks are FIRST CLASS, NURSES INCLUDED.

Cindy Humes

Horrible experience!! Went to get x-ray and the line was so long and no reception at front desk at the front door then no reception in x ray room. Rang bell and it took almost 3 minutes for someone to come. I ended up leaving because line was so long it was blocking door. I'm not from Florida. Texas hospital is way more helpful and better. Parking Lot was so far and valet line was long. Hospital was clean and huge. It was Friday at 12:30. Nurses were just coming in from lunch ( that was what they said ) Maybe my experience will be better next time. Not!!!

Matt H

My wife was there for 5 days with an autoimmune disease yet they wouldn't answer any questions asked and didn't diagnose what it was and didn't care. We had to take her to the Mayo clinic. Beware of 7th day Adventists. They own the hospital and use the money for their cult. Beware and stay far away.

Brittany O

Always been my go to hospital for emergencies! Wouldn't trust anyone else

Cheryl Ann

I've had multiple surgeries, hospital stays, and ER visits at this facility. The staff is always kind, even the doctors (surprise!) Also, I've never had to wait very long in the ER - immediate triage, and then perhaps an hour to be seen. I have a great deal of confidence in the medical professionals here.

christie poulton

Amazing ICU staff but beware of the general hospital floors. They have very poor fall prevention measures in place---it's almost as if they actually want their patients to fall so that they can bill for extra procedures and CT scans. There are too many physician consultants with no one central person to help with case management and discharge planning. This makes the "care" they provide very disjointed and leaves families unclear of the overall direction the care team is heading in. The care is disparate and there does not appear to be clear communication between the providers invoved in patient care. #JointCommission

3 MONTHS AGO I WAS IN THIS HOSPITAL AND I WAS TREATED VERY BADLY AND TALKED DOWN TO FROM SOME VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DOCTORS IN THE ICU UNIT. LETS JUST SAY THEY WERE PRETTY DARN RUDE TO ME & HAD NO BED SIDE MANNERS ON HOW TO TALK TO A SICK PATIENT. THEN WENT FOR A CT SCAN I WAS EVEN TREATED THE WORST IN THERE ONE LADY JERK ME OFF OF THE TABLE JUST TO HELP ME UP AFTER THE IV ENDED IN MY ARM INSTEAD OF GOING THROUGH MY VIEN AND BOY THAT BURNED AND BLEW UP LIKE A BUBBLE ON MY ARM I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN IT SEEMS TO ME THAT KNOW ONE SEEM TO GIVE A RAT'S BE HIND ABOUT ME!! I WAS SO UPSET THAT HOLE DAY!! THEN THEY TOOK ME BACK TO MY ROOM ON THE 3 FLOOR AND THEN I GET THIS MALE NURSE HIS NAME WAS VINNY..... HE WAS NOT NICE AT ALL HE WOULD NEVER ORDER MY BREAKFAST, LUNCH OR MY DINNER. HE WOULD NEVER COME IN MY ROOM BUT MAYBE 1 TIME AND THAT WAS IT. HE WOULD NEVER PUT ON GLOVES EVEN IF I ASKED HIM TOO SO I ASK FOR ANOTHER NURSE. THAT WAS MY NIGHTMARE FROM HELL IN THAT HOSPITAL AND MY LAST!!

My daughter had her baby at Advent Health. I can’t say enough about this place. From the time we got there until she was discharged, the experience was more than exceptional. L&D nurses were amazing answering every question my daughter had and making her feel comfortable. The mid-wife was above and beyond any expectations. This being my daughters first baby, the mid-wife was amazing with my daughter. Everyone took time to explain everything that was happening during the process. My daughters daytime L&D nurse even came to see her and the baby the next day to say hi and check in on her. I want to say thank you for making my daughters first experience delivering and caring for her baby while at this hospital. My daughter was set to deliver at another local hospital, and did not get the compassion and care she received from Advent and she is so happy she chose Advent Health. You guys rock!!!!

Craig Pyle

Great experience every visit.

Cecilia Griffith

I Got to say the I Love You people... Att: Luis Angel Lopez Santiago aka (Franco).

Alyssa Knapp

My son was there for 5 months as a baby. He's 8 now and goes back once a year for siezures or something. Every time we are here he is treated great. The nurses are wonderful. Couldn't ask for a better place for him to go to.

Tinese Miller

Service was Great. I loved all my doctors on my visit! The 4 east morning staff Neff, Marsha, and Susan (Discharged Nurse). Although i was told by my doctor that i would have an excuse for work, when i was discharged, 2 nurses Sandra & Jennifer was very rude about giving me my excuse all because my doctor didnt put the excuse in my file. -The 4 East Morning Crew Are Loving And Funny People. They made me feel very welcomed!

Brandon Henderson

All of the nurses were great. What was not great was being told I can't wait outside of my wife's room while they take one minute to help her. I am appalled by how I was treated since she acted as if I was in the wrong since they politely asked me to step out and even accused me of sitting there all day. A man shouldnt have to step away from his wife while she is in labor. Disgusting the way I was treated.

Papo Karting

Staff and nurses very friendly and helpful, doctors, cardiologists and cardiac electrophisiologist battling on who's gonna make a decision of icd implant , I'm a high risk cardiac patient of sudden cardiac arrest and heart attack, after week and 1/2 staying in the hospital there refused to help me out with this problem and discharge me very unprofessional playing with the health of a patient.

My mom is a Renal transplant patient has been in and out for kidney stones in her transplant kidney for some reason we CANT get the Nephrologist or Urologist to do the reasearch and know that in an immunosuppressive person kidney stones are nicknamed infectious stones they MUST be removed this has been every month since September I took her to Orlando Health it took the doctor not ever an hour they did an Renal ultrasound and said immediately said the stones must be removed and put her in an ambulance for the procedure to be done at Fl hospital when we got to the so call adventhealth everyone cluess regarding procedure. Now my mom lost her function in her transplant kidney is back on dialysis were in April stones are still there and she is septic once again. She has developed bed sores while in the hospital for one month and the doctor is going to say its because she doesn't walk enough. Am a nurse of 26 years and I am totally disgusted with there care my mom is 72 and the doctors got the idosity to tell me its time too put her in a nursing home. Whaaat there so out of order

Amy Truesdell

I went to the emergency room on tooth abcess my blood pressure was 151 over 100 probably cause i was in so much pain. Second time i had to go to er for my tooth because the other antibiotics didnt work. They wrote a prescription for naproxen and different antibiotics in my experience the naproxen didnt work for my tooth i requested can they at least give ibuprofen prescription instead the doctor said no. I dont understand why ibuprofen isnt a narcotic. The very least was that they couldve taken those feelings into consideration. They seemed not to care that i was in so much pain. I understand theres a lot of opiate addiction out there but its not fair for the people that are really in pain to stay in pain because of other people problems. They did how ever make a dentist appointment on the spot that was a blessing. Said that i would be treated with no insurance. Id say they are not very good at helping with pain but now the problem will be fixed for good because of them so id say a good -bad experience.

Jason Chrystie

I would die before going to this hospital....oh wait I almost did when they let me leave and highlight on discharge papers what was wrong... I ended up at the proper place for proper care 24 hours later. Total disregard for peoples health!!! The other hospital even called and yelled at them for there treatment. Then have the nerve to want me to pay a $900 bill. Even after I submitted the docs they asked for. Did I mention they dont care!!!

My wife is 35 weeks pregnant, she had preeclampsia her previous pregnancy and was told this pregnancy she would be treated as preeclamptic, because she started to have certain symptoms early on this pregnancy. She has a migraine that hurt so bad she can't even keep her eyes open and blacking out and face and fingers going numb. We were transported to the ER after we left from the women health pavilion because they told us she will need a MRI done because they have to treat her as she is having a stroke. When we got to the ER they was acting like they didnt know why she was there after they trasported her to the ER seem if they was unaware of her arrival. They had to sign her back in, and made her wait in the ER lobby even though they told us in triage (Women's health pavilion) that they would have a room ready for her because it was urgent they got her in the back to run the necessary tests. Once they got her back to the back they had to redo her lab tests that they already had done in triage before being transferred to the ER. We explained numerous of times that what she is currently experiencing we had already been through when she was pregnant before. They never checked her medical records and the doctors offered her to take a medicine mixture with Benadryl and reglan. My wife is allergic to promethazine, zofran, and reglan. We told them multiple times, and he said its ok for her to have an allergic reaction because its "normal". We didn't understand why he even wanted to give her reglan because thats for vomitting which would do absolutely nothing for the migraines and pressure behind her eyes. They hooked her up to an EKG, gave her Tylenol, and left her in the room for almost hours. We called the nurse to see why nobody had been back to check on her and what the plan of action was going to be since they didn't run the necessary tests. She went and got the doctor and told my wife since she won't take the reglan (THAT SHE'S ALLERGIC TO!) that she can be discharged. When getting her paperwork ready the doctor re-entered and told her they wanted her to go back to triage in 2days and also to see their neurologist because she needs certain tests done. The same thing we told them the ENTIRE time we were there! We have deciced to take her to a different hospital because she is in so much pain and we know for a fact (considering we just went through the same thing a year and a half ago) that the correct test were not performed and they tried to give her medication that is listed in her files as an extreme allergy. The Dr didn't knowledge that i was even there because the color of my skin. They sent my pregnant wife home who cant function properly who has been passing and blacking out which they were aware of never again will we go back !

Hospital keeps you waiting for hours. No professionalism. Scheduled surgery for 7:00 am told to be at hospital by 5. Surgery center doesn't open until 5. 12:45 before finally going in for surgery. No information provided. No coffee before 7. Worst hospital experience ever, would have walked out if able. Left unattended and abandoned for hours. Additionally do NOT use the services of Dr. Palmer.

Angie Golod

I had my mother brought here after 12 days in another hospital. As a nurse and a family member it is refreshing to see healthcare done in such a professional manner. Everyone has been amazing and I am thankful for the care she is receiving.

Yolanda Fraction

Dr. Temple, Vanessa and Corey in ER really took amazing care of me! Dr. Temple had great bedside manner, was thorough and knowledgeable. I came here after a horrendous experience at Dr. Phillips Hospital in ER. It was unfortunate to have to visit the ER while traveling but they got me in and out in no time. I'm so thankful for the high quality level of care!

Yolanda Caraballo

Great staff , fantastic surgeons , AMAZING children’s center . Kuddos to making a terrifying experience as good as it can get!!!! Thank you all

Donald Lupien

Good luck trying to park. The valet staff is always on the ball but Security is not very nice at all. Parking is terrible unless you are willing to pay valet.

Eva Melen

Great service provided. Swift, to the point visit to the ER. Three types of medical professionals' saw my son and I, and gave medical advisement in attentive evaluations.

Frank Stieg

Big and has everything.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST Hospital I've ever been too. Went to emergency room at 1:30pm and was there until 12:30am almost 11 whole hours and not once did I see a doctor. Went in with a fever of 103.5 and a bad virus and while I was in pain for hours there would be no nurse around. When they did finally come every 2 to 3 hours. They would lie and say they would go get the doctor who would never come. They gave me tylenol and saline but did nothing for the pain. The pain and fever got so bad that I had to leave to another emergency room where I saw a doctor in 20 minutes and they gave me antibiotics, pain medication and saline iv bags. If you go to East Advent Orlando Hospital get ready to pay a lot to not get any results and horrible staff

When I arrived the staff was very helpful and caring advising of the test they would run to figure out what was causing my chronic abdominal pain. The wait was very short to see the doctor. I was placed in a waiting area supposedly waiting to do a CT scan until a lady from registration arrived to advise that I had a $250 copay that I was unable to pay. She became very rude when I advised I was unable to make a good faith payment stating as she left the waiting area that even if I don’t receive the bill come and check back with them because there will be one. Shortly after the doctor returned stating that all the labs were normal and they wanted me to follow up with a primary doctor because it could be a cyst on some inflammation on my lady parts. I asked about the test that they originally planned and I was advised that blood work was normal so no scans needed. I was discharged without a scan, ultrasound, or pregnancy test. I was only given prescriptions for pain and inflammatory medicine. I called to schedule an appointment with the gynecologist department that was written in my discharge paperwork and I was advised that the agent had to speak with the because she didn’t see any test that warrants the referral. She called me back about an hour later and advised that they don’t treat chronic abdominal pain. So I basically went to the ER and paid thousands of dollars for some pain medication. I’m from up North and over the 4 years I’ve been in Florida I have learned if you don’t have great health insurance they will sen you home to die!!

Absolutely the best hospital system! Dr Woo and his wonderful RN staff in ortho saw our 4 year old who had broken her tibia. He was empathetic, caring, professional and put my wife and me at ease during a scary time. Thank you Advent Health.

Gary Hill

Went to the emergency room but they took so long, I had to take a final exam and they told me to come back afterwards. Charged me a second co-pay. I was literally there all day. The people were nice, but the doctor insisted on a CT scan. Got the CT scan, but didn't need it. Got the bill a month later and they charged me 22k for a CT scan. A CT scan is typically between $500 to $1000, with one being $5,000 at the most extreme end, THIS CT SCAN WAS $22K!!!!!! MAJOR RIP OFF ALERT.

I recently gave birth at Florida Hospital Orlando and was very pleased with the services. I was at the Women's and Children's side of the hospital and have nothing but good things. Ms. Sherry and Ms. Joan from the baby floor 7 are amazing individuals.

Shahnoza Hanturayeva

The best one i have ever seen but too much expencive

Literally the worst hospital I have ever been in. My wife was extremely sick in the emergency Room and the attending doctor asked me how much we prayed at home .I was flabbergasted The audacity of someone that you believe to be trained in the field of medicine has absolutely ZERO to do with my religion. She was not dying or anything but he proposed that if we had prayed we wouldn't be there at all. They take their religion very seriously at this hospital and if you don't follow the enlightened trail that they do they will not give you the same treatment that they do a pastor or someone in the church .I would crawl on my hands and knees to another hospital before I ever go into this religious hellhole that they call a hospital .Medicine and religion have absolutely nothing in common. Be a church or be a hospital, don't be both.

Vika Tuiketei

Nice, clean, and spacious rooms! It was a breath of fresh air (literally) after my dad got transferred from Kissimmee hospital. Every nurse, doctor, surgeon we worked with was so nice to work with!

Sam Bennett

I was sent there because my MRI showed my leg was fractured, so possible emergency surgery. It turned out to be a hairline fracture, which is great, because I didn't need surgery. The problem I had was that the nurse gave me crutches to walk with...I can't walk on crutches because I'm physically disabled. I have cerebral palsy. I explained to her that I couldn't walk with them, and she kept telling me to "just try". I told her I couldn't because I don't have the upper body strength and my legs don't corporate that well. She didn't care what-so-ever. She was like, well that's all we have for you, so you're gonna have to walk with them. Needless to say, I never walked with them at home. I just had to be extremely careful, so I wouldn't completely break my leg.

It took 18 days (!!!) for a doctor from this hospital to sign my ex-husband's death certification. They are supposed to do it within 72 hours after a request from a funeral/crematory director. It appears the doctors there were passing the buck back and forth on this. Afraid of being sued? Who knows? What I do know is that this has caused a ridiculous amount of extra stress for me and his family. It has held up his cremation, and if he were being buried...can you imagine what havoc that would cause with planning a funeral and memorial service? We have not been able to take care of any financial tasks associated with his death because certified copies of the death certificate are necessary...for things like getting life insurance, inheriting retirement accounts, taking names off of joint bank accounts, deeds, etc. The doctors in the ICU at AdventHealth Orlando should be ashamed of themselves. Please be aware that if your loved one dies in this hospital, this could happen to YOU.

Security Officer Chris has continually provided excellent service for AdventHealth. I feel so safe when he is patrolling the property. If there is ever an event on property, I know for sure that Officer Chris will respond as quickly as humanly possible. Knowing that you have such reliable officers on property like Officer Chris makes coming to work like going on vacation. Great Job Officer Chris.

When i have the time I will be posting a very long descriptive review on my experience here.

Amanda Padua

My son was hospitalized there recently. The pediatric area was great. The nurses were very nice and explained everything and helped keep my son from being terrified. Great hospital. Great staff.

Jamie Cook

Best hospital had all 3 of my kids here

Maritza Rodriguez

Visited my God daughter at the Walt Disney children's Pavillion and it seemed nice. private rooms.. space for families.. great little children's are downstairs by lobby. always looks clean and spotless. no complains from parents either so far

Franche Misu

My girl came here with a broken leg and they acted pretty fast , always checking u with her to see how she was feeling if she needed anything. Really nice looking place awesome staff

Vickie Jackson

Lidsay was a joy. She is awesome. I was upset at first but her service made up for the beginning. Lidsay you rock!

Letsbe Honest

Terrible Receiving dock. Too many trucks and not enough docks to unload. Be prepared to wait and have the rest of your deliveries to your other stops be delayed. Even small service vans have no to place to park, so they just park anywhere. Some use the dock as a pick up and drop off area for employees, which is another issue that creates delays and a potential hazard.

Stewart Bryant

Nursing staff is pathetic, unhelpful, and unqualified. I highly recommend you seek medical care at a different Hospital.

Marlenne Rodriguez

I was hospitalized here for 3 weeks due to pancreatitis. I was also 31 weeks pregnant. My illness was so severe and unexpected that I was transported here in ambulance from another hospital. Although it was long days for me, I could have not hoped for better nurses and team. They made me and my family feel welcomed and always showed great interest. The people in this hospital are really good people.

Mike Link

I hate hospitals but the staff all go above and beyond.

Brandy Carter

The very best hospital I've ever been admitted to was here. Two years ago I was admitted and I still find myself continuing to brag about this amazing hospital. Great caring staff and doctors... Thank you so very much for my wonderful experience during a very troubling time in my life.

Multiple bad experiences at Florida Hospital. The most recent was yesterday (7/8/18) when my grandmother broke her ankle. Keep in mind we’re talking about an elderly woman pushing 80. First, she wasn’t given any pain medication until I spoke to her nurse in the Emergency Dept. myself. She couldn’t walk so I asked her nurse to bring in a bedpan and help her out. She did, very, very nice, but she left the used bedpan on the drawers. The bedpan was left there until grandma got moved to radiology, who knows how long it was there after that. We arrive in Radiology and none of the nurses knew who she is. They asked her for that information then asked what procedure she was there for. Wow. We were told she was going to be admitted (pre existing circumstances) and once she was done in radiology she’d go to her room. Well, no. We went back to ED and the nurse told the transport lady she had been given a room (which I tried explaining to her) and she had been removed from her dept. After again speaking to the transport person, my grandmother’s nurse, and the charge nurse, she sat in the hallway for at least 25 minutes only in a hospital gown and blanket. I realize what nurses go through especially in ED however I this was not a busy night. There were actually two clean and empty rooms on either side where her stretcher was against the wall. Again, I speak to a different nurse and we’re told it’ll only be a few more minutes. 15 minutes more minutes later she was actually moved. I spoke to a woman at the information desk who had no idea what to do or who to call to help us out. I could go on and on about this disaster but I feel like that’s more than enough. I’d seriously suggest ORMC (or Arnold Palmer for our little loves.)

Dee Beecher

We visited my sister on the 12th floor in The Ginsburg Tower. Every single Dr and nurse working with her were beyond wonderful! They all treated us and my sister like family. Great great staff! If I could give a higher rating I definitely would.

Having a history of cardiac arrest, in Nov/2018, I was taken in once again, with a close call, on Aug/2019. Once in ER they acted fast and took me immediately to Cardiac ICU where they worked hard to bring my heart under control. While in ICU my heart didn’t want to cooperate. As the cardiologists worked diligently at working on stabilizing my erratic heart, the entire ICU staff saw to it that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Everyone, that had anything to do with me and my wellness, was genuinely caring. I can’t remember the last time I felt so pampered in a hospital. Thank you, to all of my medical staff friends at Advent Heath-South Fl Hospital (on Rollins St), for loving on me and, being co-laborers with Christ, while keeping me alive. A week and a caring staff I’ll never forget. I am forever grateful!!!

Vin

Urology department was so unresponsiveness and showed so little regard for the care of my mother that it is shameful and a disgrace to the rest of the staff which was excellent. After much research, turns out this is a re-occurring theme with them so I am forced to give the hospital a poor overall rating due to 1)the non existent communication from that group. 2) The total failure, of the otherwise excellent staff, to appropriately escalate the situation to the people who had the authority to intervene.

Bruce Strickland

Kudos, Florida Hospital! Your magnificent institution of healing exemplifies everything that is right and good about medical professionals and those support people who make it all happen! I have worked in various hospital and clinical settings over my fifty years in the field of health care. I have never experienced such a superlative degree of caring and dedication as I witnessed during a recent prolonged hospitalization of my daughter who experienced a severe flare of lupus. These fantastic people {and I speak of everyone including the medical team, the nursing team, the support personnel, the housekeeping staff, the culinary team, even the workers who repair the air conditioning and televisions in the patient's rooms} all demonstrate with humble conviction that they not only are expert in what they do but enjoy doing it. Words fail me when I attempt to convey my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for a job well done! Florida Hospital at Rollins is a magnificent institution of physical and spiritual healing and I will become a patron to facilitate their wonderful mission. God bless you, everyone one for returning my daughter to full physical recovery and spiritual healing. May all your continuing efforts be blessed and rewarded. Warmest regards, Bruce Strickland PA-C Winter Park, Florida

The staff here is amazing. Our son was born 15 weeks premature and although we lost him 2 weeks later I cant say enough about how wonderful the staff was . Such kind and caring people in NICU.

Debbie Hutson

This place sticks you in a small room and hardly any wound care services. Not a great hospital

Todd D

Best Hospital experience anyone could ever have honestly. I find myself very fortunate to be in the close proximity of this hospital when I got sick. I don't think I would have gotten the same service and Care anywhere else in the entire universe. I owe my life to these guys. Thank you GG 214 and my friends at Florida Hospital!!!

The Falcon 22

The hospital is not the issue it is there building practice that is a major problem. I went in with insurance and was told that I was covered, however in the patient forms you are quickly told that you might not be covered if you see a doctor from outside the hospital. The doctors that see you in the hospital don't walk through the door and announce that they are not covered or that they will not take the five minutes to send in the information to my insurance company so that I would be covered. I am still getting bills from people I don't even know saw me. It is the alligent air of hospital stays. #onehospitalonebill

Krissy jhoda

It's ok because not all staff are the same. I had surgery there on 7/16 and was discharged on 7/21. My husband said the nurses took almost one hr. before they came to check on me ...after he started fussing. (I was still out. They brought me straight from OR. to my room). Their excuse was that they didn't know I was there!!! Then the next 2days were were different staff. It wasn't bad. Then Friday came.....I started with chills then the temp was going up. This went into the night , with chang of shift. The 7pm shift was the same ones I started with on my first night. No one addressing the fever or checking on me. I called at 11:15pm. Then 11:30 still no one came. I called again at 11:55 and made a fuss then the nurses came. SOME of the staff there are terrible. And I'm not a nagging patient. If I needed anything, i would wait until they came in and then ask. The food is even worst. My doctors were the sweetest. The best part about my stay there was my view. ( I called it my "penthouse view"!!). People have got to understand that you got to have compassion especially in the field of nursing. And lord knows how long we have to work to pay the bills.

Susanne Posma

Great experiences here. Already came here twice during our 4 week vacation here in Orlando. Only visited for minor inconveniences but we were treated like royals. Great care, sweet nurses, doctors with knowledge.

Teigh Sims

It was our first time at this hospital. We decided to go to the cafeteria. How's anyone supposed to know they weigh certain items? The black lady was so rude in the way she spoke to me about me going back to get a separate container for my hamburger. Totally rude. This was my first contact with someone rude at this hospital. She needs to learn how to speak to people. I did not get her name.

DA Guy

Terrible experience with interpreting service, I have been taking a family member to Florida Hospital now Adventhealth, They are pushing the staff nurses, techs, Therapist to used Video Interpreting and is the worse interpreting my family member has experience since she is been coming for treatment for over 6 years, I asked the person in charge why there was no interpreter in person she told me they were cutting down on expenses, Since interpreting service new manager starter working there is less qualified interpreters working, the few good interpreters they have can not comply with the demand, Everyone is afraid to make a formal complaint because they might lose their job. We have met some very helpful interpreters that have done more than an excellent job,but i was told that now if an interpreter comes in person they are not allowed to stay longer than one hour if is not approved by interpreting services, and when a nurse tries to reach them interpreting services does not pick up. so they have no choice than to figure out what to do with the patience that don't speak english.

Mimi Morales

Good Hospital.....Great Specialists.&Nurses.A✨take someone with you....for a smoother exp//Nursing staff is definitely short handed ...but they were wonderful.

nadine batoche

Today was very bad experience at the ER for children, from nurses to doctor. Very dissatisfied and using hand gestures from the doctor not professional at all

Jacob

Consistent lack of urgency or care for follow ups and patient advocacy. Avoid.

Loise Butler

They talk about my calling a BIG one like a whale and did close the . And I won't talk about giving her the wrong drug!!!

Meagan Groves

Staff was great. Dr was very nice. Didn't wait long.

This is the place to take a loved one to be cared for. There is no other option in the Central Florida area. Go out of your way to go to this hospital when you need one.

Donna Hewitt

Not doing what the family wants for the patience.

Briseida Pena

My husband Jesus Lopez has being admitted to the hospital few times and always he has being treated with special care. The staff is very professional and concerned about patience's health. This week he was at the Cardivascular unit at 4th Floor - G building. Nurses Kaila, Ashley and Ann were outstanding. Our kudos to all of them.❤❤❤

Bebo Bim

Clean rooms; knowledgeable, caring, and respectful staff and therefore we are very very satisfied with this Hospital. Recommend to come here before you go anywhere else.

Julia Cruz-Perea

Great surgeon's and staff.

**The view is mainly for the recovery section of the Hospital.......4/17/2019 day of my surgery DR. KENDRICKS AND HIS ENTIRE STAFF including Rhinnon (Nurse) was amazing they treated me so good! After the surgery going into recovery was a totally DISASTER! It Is very clear I was no longer dealing with Dr Kendricks staff anymore. The night of the surgery my Nurse was Wai/Wae she did NOT want to work at all I have no idea what her issue was, I asked for crackers and something to drink She actually said "can you wait, bc I have 5 other patients I have to see, as if my major surgery was not important, later that night my Nurse and Nina had a full argument in the hallway where ALL the other patients could hear, after 3 minutes or so another Nurse stepped in and said enough is enough and tried to stop them, however they still went on for awhile, my Husband and I wanted to leave that night but my pain was too extreme to even move. The next morning I got an ANGEL her name was NIMET (Nurse) she had the touch of Grandma, so sweet and made everything much better including my day, she needs to be with Dr. KENDRICKS AND STAFF! I pray that I NEVER have to have another surgery! The recovery night section, they ALL need training from Dr. Kendricks and staff or be FIRED asap!

Sharesa Thompson

Because they are not honset with their words and can't keep the plans stabled

greg brown

This hospital is the most unorganized facility I've seen!!!! The staff was wonderful. But whomever does the scheduling for procedures needs to be fired!!! They also need to be investigated for billing for unnecessary purposes.

Sneaky Squirrel

I went to ER due to a bicycle fall. I cannot say enough about the staff as I was waiting and being treated at different times. The nurse who checked me in could not have been friendlier, The ER nurse AMANDA R was wonderful. She is a take charge person and was so kind and nice to all the ER patients she had to handle. They ranged from Baker Act to overdose patients to someone in a bar fight! It is a very sad environment when you look at your issue and see what others are dealing with..it really puts things in perspective. The ER doctor was wonderful and saw to all my needs. I can't say enough about Florida Hospital on E. Rollins St. I felt like I had made two new friends in the nurses who I encountered during my visit. I wish them good luck and thank them and the doctor for all that they did!!

Stela Gizzi

Had a double bypass open heart surgery at 59 years old, exactly 11 months ago here. Now I am headed back for a possible round two. Monday, June 11th having another catheterization which will determine if another bypass is needed. If so, no problem. Couldn't be in better hands at this hospital. All staff from nurses to doctors, from rehab staff to janitorial services staff, outstanding all of them. Not enough stars on here to express how happy and content I was recovering from this major surgery. Fantastic! Wonderful! Excellent! Outstanding! Marvelous! Incredible! Exquisite! The absolute best! I think I really liked this place! YESSSSS!!!

Maria Decoster

Terrible experience! Two months and half ago we arrived with our 11 yo daughter to the emergency room in this hospital. She had an open wound on her face and was needing stitches (pic 1). Our main concern (after knowing she was ok) was for her to receive the most aesthetic suture, since she would have a scar on her face. The suture she received was not done by a doctor but by a student-doctor, under a doctor's supervision (who was going in and out of the room all the time, and only checking the student-doctor's work when he was in the room), and that student-doctor did practice well and enough with our daughter!!! She received way too many stitches -according to our doctor- each one of them leaving, of course, an additional mark to her face (pic 2), instead of being sutured with a more sophisticated suture that is invisible and leaves no trace, because it goes deep under skin -but they told us that type of suture is only offered at the plastic surgery room in their hospital. We were not offered any choice concerning the suture that was going to be done on our daughter, and she was completely messed up. Other hospitals do offer options when in this situation. Go to another ER, please!!!! Because what follows was even worse than the bad choice done for her suture. We were told the stitches were going to dissolve by themselves after 7 to 10 days, and they told us that if there was any problem (fever, redness, swollen wound, etc.) we should go see our primary care doctor. We didn't go see our primary doctor because her wound was not in any of these conditions (pic 3). After 14 days though, not a single stitch had moved (pic 4). I called the ER, and the person over the phone -a nurse- was unable to tell me if the thread used was a dissolvable one or not, he couldn't find the information of the type of thread used on my daughter’s file. No mention of the type of thread was in the documents I received from the hospital either. We saw a doctor and got the stitches removed on the 16th day after she was sutured (pic 5). Her skin around the wound was irritated from the thread that stayed for an excessive amount of time on her skin (pic 5). We went to see the manager at the ER, he told us to contact the medical staff chief. I tried to make an appointment with her, but she did not want to see us, she firmly declined to see us face to face, because she had to do an investigation on our case. After the investigation, she did not want to see us either, but I got her over the phone: she recognized we could have been told to go see a doctor if the stitches were not dissolved after 10 days. I asked her to arrange for us to see a hospital dermatologist at no charge, and have the doctor give us a last generation gel to help her minimize the scar, but she told me to buy a $10 gel at Walmart, over the counter... I started a complaint in the hospital, they took more than a month to answer us back. When they finally did, they wrote they did what they were supposed to do (says who? Because the result is really bad!) and that I was recommended to see my primary care doctor between 3-5 days, which isn't true, I was told to see him if there was anything going wrong with her healing process. In fact, their letter is just telling me they have so incompetent doctors, that we should go see our own doctor to ask him if their doctors did the right job!!!???? Is this a joke? Can we not take their recommendations for granted, that we need to go check them with another doctor??? I definitely do not recommend this hospital. Anybody can make a mistake, but this hospital is NOT close to recognize the ones they make nor repair any wrongdoing to help their patients heal properly. The doctor supervising the student doctor stitching our daughter told us she was receiving several stitches because the more she had, the thinest the wound would be, but they were wrong one more time: a scar that COULD have been as thin as a hair, is 2 to 3mm large (pic 6), surrounded by 14 more scars around the main scar. I am so disappointed: if I could give them zero star, I would.

Kaos Squid

Don't go to this hospital, ever! My 19 year old son went to Florida Hospital after being seen at an urgent care facility for a pain in his chest. They did an EKG and took an Xray and told him there was nothing wrong with him and waited over an hour for discharge paperwork. Urgent care charged him $500 and Florida Hospital charged him $6,000!! After I called and wrote a letter, they agreed to "review" the bill, only to come back and say it was correct. Rip Off - Dont go!

Juan Gonzalez

In my opinion, the best hospital in Central Florida. Best doctors and amazing facilities!!!!!

Mairy Natal

Where are her for couples days for ER SX for my husband, some staff are student I understand that they are in the beginning but they need to start on have good patient services , horrible service .

Emanuella Nelson

I've lived on the east side of Orlando an have been going to the hospital there which by the way is the best the staff is awesome but this hospital wow they are sending people home to die they would not go beyond what the paper say an see with there eyes I was so disappointed they treat people different in that hospital I would never go there or recommend anyone they even switch my nurse I should have known something was wrong when she came and check on me shame on you FL hospital all your hospital should be the same

Robert Walko

It's noon on a weekday and nobody is picking up the phone at Patient Information. Come on, folks. Otherwise, the care is outstanding.

Cheray Unman

The nurses and staff were so kind to me and my Father when he was just there . I will forever be grateful to them for the efforts they made so I could know the medical situation and communicate with him before he passed . Thank you to nurses LaToya and Deanna in the ICU and cancer care . You kindness will always be remembered .

Sean Gray

This place is what happens when medicine gets so corporate that it becomes almost impossible just to get a fax number.

Blackfiress

I understand that waiting to be seen can take a while but why did it take over a hour and a half to get my discharge paper work. Went in the morning before it was overly busy. People who were seen way after me were leaving way before me. The only reason I was able to leave after such a huge wait time was because I went up to the desk to find out what was going on. Then proceeded to wait by the desk. The first thing that happened was the front desk people telling me they don't know what's causing it to take so long since I was to be waiting for the care rep to talk to me, which he did already( quite some time ago).So there system wasn't even up to date on my leaving process. The care rep couldn't even make the follow up appointment for me! So what was the point in waiting for them anyway when I have to call the number on the paper myself anyway! I went here because I heard it was good, only to have a terrible time while in pain. Be careful and would not recommend.

I’ve been in the hospital for a few days now going through some life changing things In the staff this in three East dayshift has been on point with me they make me feel like there’s more hope in life to live for each person has a role to play and everybody plays it well from the head nurse in charge all the way down to the tech and I appreciate it and may God give everybody the delights of their heart sometime words can’t explain

Olga Melissa Alvarez

I visited the ER just now and every part of the process from valet to discharge was excellent. Keep up the good work!

Hi my name is Tom and my wife had colorectal cancer, I will leave a review for the surgeons on their website. I would like to share our experience with the staff on her Stoma reversal and care. We were on floor 12 and had the best experience possible for the care and thoughtfulness of the staff, nurse Shelly not only took professional care of my wife but connected with her in a very real way to ease my wifes concerns and let her guard down, , trust, and receive good care. The cleaning staff especially new hire Kimberly were always smiling friendly and did a great job and the last person we saw was a young man named Roger who took my wife Cindy in a wheelchair all the way to our parking garage, he made sure we did not leave our phone chargers and slippers in our room and was very gentle when going over bumps and through doors he was an excellent ambassador for Advent and left us smiling. Thank you Tom Lane

Bree MW

Comfortable rooms that are fairly private. The menu is surprisingly extensive and tasty. Doctors are talented, but communication at times is lacking. Receptionists at check-in for surgery are always incredibly kind. Nurses in the infusion unit deserve praise for their support and care. The Disney Pavilion is impressive; it’s a lot of fun and entertaining - amazing distraction/attraction for kids stuck at the hospital sick or visiting.

nelly sparkle

Best Hospital ever this people are just amazing the best doctor's and nurses ever Thank you all

Afraid to visit because you will send surprise hospital bills for the years to come. Scam.

Katrina Williams

If I could I would give this place 1 million stars they help save my mom life plus I used to work there and I loved my job go Florida hospital the best

Lisa Greene

Nurse's were so kind and caring. They were so busy but because they were so professional and treated everyone like a person and not just another number, it made it ok.

Tom Meme

Overall, the service and care was phenomenal even though at first there was some miscommunication at first. The second nurse we got in the morning did a MUCH BETTER job at communicating, and her attitude was very positive and caring.

Edward Martinez

I had great service, the place was clean and beautiful and the service was great. I was treated well by all and it made my difficult stay a pleasant one. I am very grateful.

Amy J Baker

The staff, both medical and non-medical, are wonderful. Kind, friendly and willing to help.

Ramon Yglesias

Very good care and service

Michael Moore

Very efficient getting my Dad in and out. The facilities are extremely nice. The cafeteria was vegetarian, but I knew that going in. I was surprised that the veggie sausage was actually pretty good.

Karalyn Lamb

My dad was a patient there for about 2-3 weeks for cardiac surgery and recovery. The nurse practitioner, nurses, surgeons and various doctors were all amazing. They were patient with all of our questions and concerns and took care of my dad very well. The hospital was very clean, the hospital food was the actually quite good! They helped my family and I find an affordable place to stay while we were there to be near my dad, as we were from out of state. Words can’t descibe how thankful I am for helping my dad so wonderfully!

Joe Cherluck

ER visit. Staff right on point. Cannot thank them all enough for their service. From check in to discharge it was evident everyone cared and was happy with their jobs. Unbelievable professionalism through out the organization. Thank you all.

I had an outpatient surgery this past week at this hospital and from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out everything was amazing. The hospital is so clean and beautiful. All the nurses and doctors that I met were very friendly and informative. I felt safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hospital for surgery. Thank you Florida hospital for making my experience better than I expected.

Went in to the ER with a big knot on my back. The doctor had to cut it open. They were very nice and explained everything to me before they did it. The wait might be a bit much at times but they are a great hospital.

You will notice everyone else will get a reply to their message and complaint. I’m a patient that they won’t feel needs to be advocated. Please don’t trust these people. They aren’t helpful they won’t take your concerns seriously. 3days after surgery I’m still flowing blood like a river.

Great Hospital. They took very good care of my dad. We are from Boston and have some great hospitals there and we were very glad to see that Florida Hospital falls into the same category from out point of view. We dealt with neurosurgery and cardiology.
