If you are an alcoholic or an addict or even suffering from depression or other mental issues ,this is probably the best place ,from my past experience , that you can go to for treatment ..... unlike other detox centers that I’ve been to ,they just don’t medicate you and allow you to sit around wallowing in self-pity.... they keep you up and moving with group meetings that teach you life skills and how to cope with your addiction .... it is a very clean facility where you are made to feel safe ... The staff was very professional and friendly and understand your needs...also your nutritional needs are met with not “out of box meals “ but rather home cooked meals that are quite tasty.... I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that is suffering from addiction!

My personal interaction with the Georgetown facility was absolutely horrible! We showed up at the facility around 1220 pm by ambulance on August 2, 2019. With almost 18 hr prior notice, it still took almost 4 hrs on intake, all of their staff was not present, so we had to wait for them. The hospital dropped the ball on who my daughter was supposed to see before coming, instead of saying we're taking care of it, they blamed the hospital for how long their intake was. The part that was missed was done and completed within an hour. The call center area sounds like a college dorm. They give you paperwork, walk off, don't return, but lock the window and ignore the knocks on the door when you try to return it. Then when you get on them, providing care is important but they make you sit and hurry up and wait. All the staff I encountered was very nonchalant, unprofessional and down right rude. Everything is done on their time. They speak in very matter of fact tones, almost condescending. August 3, around 640, I went to drop some things off for my daughter. The receptionist was so worried about the visitors that she couldn't take the time to spell my daughter's name correctly. Mind you, there was another woman posing in the lobby waiting to take the visitors back. She surely could have helped the visitors. Then the lady calls to apologize for if she seemed short. They move faster for someone for visitation then they do intake. I signed my daughter's release papers before she even completed intake. This will be the longest 72 hours of my life. I pray they treat my daughter 1000 times better than they do me as a parent. Would not recommend this facility to anyone.

What Crazy Looks Like

So far not a good experience! Husband & daughter waited 2 painful hours before she was taken back, eventhough it was a scheduled arrival. Day 1 & she has not been seen by a doctor. Nurse Kelly was not helpful or friendly at all. Many choices & options, this might not be a good choice like we were originally informed.

So I had to have a family member sent over to this facility for a multitude of reasons. Nevertheless, they are still sitting awaiting on a bed and just finished intake at 8:51pm ( still no bed) and has been there since 3pm! They are exhausted, tired, and sick. They also was fed cold Spaghetti for a dinner. I'm disappointed as this entity is fairly new, as I had higher expectations. They wanted to go to Meadowood, however, a psychiatrist they knew works there and they felt comfortable with them. Had it not been for a specific doctor there this would not be a place of choice.
