I would like to know who I speak to regarding the second time my daughter was in the hospital , second time got the same doctor and the same experience. She is not a complainer , and said she has never met a more rude doctor in her life , nurses were top notch , Dr. Michael Thomas please pick another profession .

Had a family member in the ER for stroke symptoms and had excellent care in the ER. It takes a while when being admitted but its a process not like they are waiting for you to walk through the door or anything. I've been to many ER's and this one was on the same level as rest.

I spent about 3 weeks in here thanks to having an emergency procedure. The nurses on the 200 wing were all absolutely amazing. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They are also slightly UNDERSTAFFED. one or two more nurses per shift would make a huge difference. Sometimes their care was compromised due to having to deal with multiple patients (which is understandable). However they did their best, and always apologized if I had to wait for them due to other patients. The food was also fairly good for hospital food, and you can choose your menu. Some of the older beds (very unpleasant) should be retired, the newer ones are great tho. Overall I was treated great and hopefully the new owners Tower Health will make some needed improvements.

Recently had surgery at Jennerville hospital. I was treated very nicely by the nursing staff which really helped with my mounting anxiety. They really know how to make you feel at home. Both the surgeon and nursing staff explain everything that was about to happen to me and showed me real care and compassion. They also treated me with dignity throughout the process. Both the staff and the surgeon did an amazing job. Pre admission was a key factor in going through with my surgery. You get to meet some of the friendly staff which actually gave me the strength to show up on surgery day. I just want to say it's the people that work at this hospital that make it great and I am so glad they are right in my back yard whenever I need them.

Maternity ward is now closed. My sister was recently admitted and they discharded her 18 hrs later and she never received a meal or water. She was on IV fluids and pain medication.

I am from out of town and had to go to the emergency room at jennersville hospital. I had a bed as soon as I arrived and the staff was prompt and very kind. They made me feel extremely comfortable and found out what my problem was. Discharge was quick and easy. I was very pleased with the whole visit.

Can't say enough good things about the staff...we came in to the ER and the nurse, Roxsann, was fantastic. Once admitted, the nurses and techs were great. Thank you Kris, Jo Jo, Faye and the rest of your staff. Everything was timely and for a hospital, relatively quiet. This hospital has that great hometown feel that you don't get in a bigger hospital

This place is of no service. They Tell you one thing and then do something else. They are slow to get anything done. Some of the nurses are helpful and other are useless. No one knows what is going on and refuse to attempt to find out. Once you check in you are at their mercy or actually lack of mercy.

I wish I could give this no stars at all. I took myself and 3 of my kids into the hospital in Jan. We all had fevers, were coughing and had sore throats for a week. We saw a resident first and he said we were fine and then the actual doctor came in and said we were fine, then another different doctor came in and said we all had an upper respiratory infection. Come to find out after going somewhere else the next day, we all had the FLU! They couldn't be bothered to actually do any other testing. We were there for about 5 hours. I went to check out and the lady at the window told us we were good. I said that couldn't be because I had a deductible and I wanted to pay right then. She said that I owed nothing! (I should've got that in writing, but fussy sick kids and all I was tired of waiting). Fast forward to a month later, they send us a bill. I call to make a payment arrangement and they want half of what was owed $500+. I didn't have that kind of money at the moment because our breaks had just went out on the car. I talked with them a few other times and last time was about two weeks ago. I let them know I was applying for Medicaid and submitting the bills to them. The lady said that was fine and to call back once everything got approved. This was 2 weeks ago!!! Today I get a letter in the mail that it went to collections, not even 8 days after I had spoken with them! I called them back and the lady on the phone said she saw where it was noted in the system two weeks ago but their was nothing she could do as the bill was 3 months old, they automatically send it to collections then. They have poor bedside manner, poor service and poor business practice.

I love this hospital. For starters they always get to u in a very timely manner. Second 80 percent of them are very very friendly and very happy to help u. I'm never mean but I was because I was just so ill they still hung in there with me and I did apologize. I almost died. Another hospital turned me away. Not Jennersville they took me in and immediately they knew I needed a surgery without it I'd be a goner. So I highly recommend them.

This is an Outstanding small regional Hospital, outpatient and ER above the Norm. In 20 years they have saved my life twice, with at least 15 ER visits for other "minor" but serious immediate expert First Aid. Outstanding ER ...Triage is taken seriously. Will you wait if Excellent, professional..no BS "MASH" type (without the canned laughter

What an incredible facility. Care was EXCELLENT! I thought because it was a small, community hospital the outcome would not be a good one but boy was I mistaken. The staff is knowledgable and empathetic and I will without a doubt continue to use Jennersville Regional Hospital for all future clinical needs. Thank you all so very, very much!

This is the worst hospital. They don’t care about how you are they want to get you out asap. The nurses were very nice and helpful and had great bedside manner. Dr Robert Kraus was the problem. Very rude to my boyfriend and I. Would not listen to what we had to say. Even the nurses feel bad and tell you to go to a different hospital. Take your time and go to West Chester or Christiana if you can.

Currently in the waiting room and the receptionist will NOT stop cracking her gum! Literally it’s so quiet and all you can hear is her chew her gum! Super annoying!

Typically quick access to care in ER. Knowledgable staff. However, it is small, which means trauma will get you sent elsewehere. If it is a child, and you can afford the 45 minutes drive, just take them directly to AI Dupont as that is where they will be sent anyway, at significant transfer cost I might add. Strokes and heart attack get triaged here, but are sent elsewhere for full treatment. Maternity ward is outstanding!.

Well I'm here at the hospital now with my 92 yrs young Father in Law n we have been here since 11am yesterday he was admitted laat night which took forever n now we are in his room waiting for the arrival of a dam doctor the man hasn't had anything to eat since yesterday morning . But im sure the Doctor isn't Hungary....

I stopped in here to get a PICC line removed on a Friday. The doctor was silly but good. I was here for a total of an hour, not bad at all. It may not be a great hospital, but they do what they do.

My 83 yr old father had and accident with a saw. Cut part of his ring finger and a splinter what we thought threw his middle finger. After spending a week there, he was sent home after being told that the splinter would work itself out. 2 days later he was taken to West Chester hospital with pain going up to his elbow, hand and wrist swollen and fever. Had to surgically remove the 3in long piece of wood in his finger and hand. How could the Dr. At Jennersville not see this on the xray they did. Guarantee we will get a big bill for their poor judgement.

Yeey Sceet

If possible I would give less than 1 star. On hold for over 30 minutes waiting to hear about family member in ER and no one can pick up to talk to me?! Family member is a minor so should have had someone speak to me ASAP!!

I was at my place of employment and passed out. My manager called an ambulance due to this situation. Mind you I have dropped a rotor (disk brake on my foot) and field dressed non life threatening injuries and kept working. However even though I work auto parts I have some background of medical terminology and slang. The nurse who decided to tap a radial vein for bloodwork also desided to call me a 9er Which is a term that originated in Syracuse, NY which identifies people who abuse the Welfare System and Public Safety (i.e. Ambulance) for non emergencies. For caregivers, they sure don’t seem to care at all about their patients. Just no warmth, very systematic, rigid, poor communication.

Overall the few Doctors and few nurses who have been there for a while are amazing. The current director of Emergency is horrible and rude. It's no wonder the staff have attitudes. Took my child in Saturday 8/3/19 ( they just upgraded their computers system and was having issues) my child was having an allergic reaction and was trouble breathing, they couldn't get a bracelet to print so we was told to have a seat and wait for a nurse. The nurse finally came 5 to 7 min later. They took us to a room and sat us there. I yelled she was getting worse with her breathing and 4 nurses just looked at each like they had no clue what to do. Finally they came in and said it would be a while because the pixis was down and pharmacy had to bring the meds up. Finally 21 min later she got the meds she needed. I called today to Express my concerns and the E. R Director told me okay okay we was having computer issues and i was rude for saying the treatment was unacceptable. She didnt have a care in the world about the my concerns and she was hanging up. Seriously my child could have died waiting on life saving meds. I would think twice about using this hospital.

If I can do no stars I would. I go in bc I had a heavy object fall on my head and I had a nice gash. There was blood on my hand bc I was trying to stop the bleeding. I go into the hospital wait 25 mins to see a doctor then when I finally see a doctor he was so disrespectful, he saw me for 30 seconds and said "you are fine we will get u out quickly" remind u they didn't even help me clean the blood off me or anything so now it's a day later and I'm in the worst pain ever and I've been bleeding all night they did not wrap my head up or anything. When u are reading this it's probably hard too believe but this is all true so today I will be going to Christiana hospital to get the right treatment this hospital should not be open the doctors don't know anything and don't care about if u live or die I will never step food back into this hospital again!!

Nice nurse. The PA though was a young know it all. I offered my thoughts on my son who was the patient, stating he had not been well for longer then 3days. I expressed real concern that he should get tested for Mono or Strep. The PA said She looked at his throat it was fine. We spent 2.5 hours waiting and I was not respected for my concerns. It was ignored. Very upsetting.

I went in to the emergency room on October 5th. Feeling very bad with a fever that wouldnt go away. Minutes after my arrival I was taken back and had a wonderful team of very professional nurses working on me. The doctor came in sent me to x-ray another very professional group. The doctor was able to determine my issue and treated me. I have nothing negative to say about this hospital it is very clean with professional doctor's and nurses. I highly recommend.

Worst Hospital ever! Charged over $5,200 for a 20 min ultrasound and they weren't able to send this to our insurance. We kept getting bills until they sent it to collection.(They are fast to send to collection but can't seem to send to Insurance). Then a year later when we applied for a mortgage we had an additional charge of over $500 from their radiology department that was on our credit score. WE NEVER RECEIVED A BILL FOR THIS. Bunch of BS WORST PLACE EVERY> WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD.......

Salary listed at $58,000.. MEDICAL AFFAIRS COORDINATOR POSITION... FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! Verify all aspects of any JOB OFFER! Had phone interview clearly gave my salary requirements which was in range. Alaina Kinsly called me for interview; Please tell me why she thought offering $18,000 less would be acceptable? Know your worth!!! Tower Health your name is now attached to this hospital.. Please do better, your reputation depends on the hospital success.

Kept getting frustrated and rude towards my fiance after he woke up from a seizure because he couldn't answer questions on spot. Then handed us a pamphlet on seizure care and one of the symptoms were " will have confusion after waking up" also never took out his iv after being checked out.

Donna McMenamin

Worst experience ever for simple testing. Registration was a nightmare. I was told just because a doctor has stamped stat on an order doesn't mean anything to them. If the doctor orders aren't important to them what keeps them in business? Isn't that what makes a hospital a hospital?

Roberta Johnson

I was at Jennersviflle Hospital for about 18 hours for what I thought was a heart related problem. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They were kind and completed all tests promptly. I left there confident that their diagnosis was 100% correct. Thank you, all.

I had a total knee replacement. Dr. Craig Smucker is my favorite surgeon. Although I'm in pain I know this was the best thing for me. The staff is wonderful. Audra was my main RN and so was Lena. Most understanding & compassionate ppl. Always checking on my pain level and well being. The PT that I had were Hannah & Krista. Very concerned and encouraging. Even the cleaning/housekeeping staff intro themselves including Joseph and a very sweet young lady Rachel. Everyone including the volunteers made sure to do whatever they could for me. If I have to go to the hospital for ANY reason at all I'll be back. I live 10 min away in Delaware, but would STILL choose this hospital over Christiana or Wilmington Hospital anyway! Keep up the good work guys! You're some of the BEST!

Tatyana Livingston

Check in repersantives and nurses were very sweet doctor was very rude , racist and breath was very obnxious . Long service ! If I could give this zero stars I wouls be aware .Also like to bill you obnixously dont be a victim .

I've suffered from kidney stones for years. A co worker on my husband told us about Jennersville after sharing the stories of waiting for hours vomiting and in extreme pain at Christiana. The service at Jennersville was superb! Right after I registered I was called into a room. Our nurse was wonderful! The Doctor saw me within 10 minutes. They really listened to me as I explained my kidney stone history. Blood was drawn, urine sample, the works. Pain meds were given immediately and I was sent for CT scan. The Dr. was back in my room within 30 minutes with the results just as I was told. The nurse kept checking on me and making sure I was ok. Anyone who has suffered from kidney stones knows the agony of the pain. It was nice to be treated so efficiently. I totally recommend Jennersville for emergency care.

I have been in twice this week for the same issue because it wasn't taken care of the first time I went in for really bad dizzy spells and they keep trying to treat my morning sickness I didn't feel neause I was so dizzy I couldn't walk and I spent an hour waiting for an empty iv bag to be removed and the nurse that finally removed my iv yanked it out now my arm is bruised I literally only saw nurses for the first few mins then no body even after hitting the call bell multiple times

JR LESTER

one confused and low standard of care place ,be careful dealing with them for care

Don’t ever go here they don’t run the hospital right they don’t know how to take care of there patients I would give 0 stars avoid this so called hospital at all costs it’s just a building not a hospital I hope they close soon because the service they provide is terrible just a heads up doctors don’t know what there doing call and file a complaint they will close soon the way they run things

Melissa Levy

My emergency problem was taken care of immediately with very patient emphatic nurses (especially Brittany) and a very nice and caring doctor. Although it is small, it has a big heart.

If looking for a job do not go here. My daughter got hired in housekeeping and it was a nightmare from day 1. When she went to get her fingerprints done the person in charge of that dept screwed up the paperwork so she couldn't get them done. So then she had to go back again and she was able to get them. In the meantime waiting for them to come back the person in charge let her work She worked 2 days then on the 3rd day the hospital commission people came in and told her she was not allowed to be there without her fingerprints being back so they made her leave so when the person in charge finally decided to answer her call and texts he told her she was to lie to them and told her now she will have to wait till the fingerprints come back. So she waited for over a week and the person in charge called her and told her he screwed up again and she would have to go back a third time to get the fingerprints done a second time and was told she shouldn't have to pay again but when she went they wanted paid and she said no and called and texted him again with no response. Then after a couple days he called and told her that he had to fill her position because he needed someone right away. During all this my daughter purchased the uniforms and also turned other job opportunities. He did offer her a job making less money but why would anyone want to work for a place that let's the people in charge do what they want and want their employees to lie. It was the worse experience my daughter has ever had with getting a job. It really makes you wonder how the rest of the hospital is

OneWishIsAllYouGet

Horrible service, wouldn’t recommend this hospital. I came in February 13th for abdominal pains and they gave me a shot and four pill for “safety purposes”? And then told me that i had a yeast infection but never gave me a script or sent medication to my local pharmacy. I came back in feb 19th for a follow up as They told me they would give me a call, and i never received one. I called and was told that i had to come in for my results. I got here and checked in again for yeast infection related problems and have been here for almost 2 hours and still haven’t been seen by a doctor or received my results.

My husband was there for 3 days following a ER visit..he was in Med Surg , the Nurses and medical staff were just great..he felt very well cared for. The ER staff is also very good just wish they could add a few more doctors on the floor so you dont need to wait for certain procedures or surgeries. The food was good but most of all he was very impressed with the nursing care he received! Just hate to end this review by saying they definitely need some Housekeeping..we were there 3 days & my husband's room was never cleaned, only 1 day a young girl came to change 1 trash can
