REVIEWS OF Jefferson Washington Township Hospital IN Delaware

Rick Lescure

Richard Lescure sr. Was in the emergency room today. Every staff and or employee member was more than willing to make our time comfortable. Dr nurses Richard the security guard. Talented professionals.we got home and got pizza for a Korean vet.he looks better already. Richard says God bless you all. Thank You.

Ashley Chickadel

My experience here was as good as it can really get considering it's a hospital. Wait time was not terrible, nurses were kind and helpful, and the surgeon who fixed my back is a miracle worker.

T- Con

Staff is great. I simply won't go anywhere else.

Michael john

I have never been so disgusted in my life my son was admitted at Jefferson after being highly intoxicated I live two hours from the hospital when I finally got there the employees at the desk gave me attitude after attitude and made it difficult for me to see my son I finally was taken back to him only to find out my son is laying in a bed in the hallway the staff there is completely unprofessional and disrespectful their behavior was appalling and atrocious highly recommend if you want professional hospital treatment for yourself or someone don't choose Jefferson

Deborah Jones

This hospital is by far the best 14 years with Inspera and Jefferson solved the problem in 48 hours Thank you, thank you and God bless you. Your staff and your Doctors. You rate 10 stars in my book.

Ashley Derdzikowski

Waited an unbelievable time in the emergency room and had a horrible experience. To have college students come here for care and have to wait extremely long is unexceptable. Something needs to be done. Also lower your air conditioning and stop providing patient care in your waiting room it’s totally unprofessional!

Red Fun

The nurses left my friend to suffer for hours without checking on him after a surgery. No pain meds given. I was there when Dr prescribed a mild pain med for discomfort if needed, yet nothing was ever give when asked several times.. No water or iv given either. They even mixed up test results from a previous surgery from years ago. When I tried to call nurses station on his behalf phone rang for 5 minutes with no answer. The care here is unacceptable.

Donna Skaggs

I had high hopes of things being better since it’s now Jefferson. I was wrong. The registration is ridiculously slow & the lab is even worse. Long waits, confusion over paperwork & people not being taken back in the order they came. I was the 1st one in & still had to wait quite a while. I’ve been coming here for years & am just fed up. Here it is a different day & my elderly father is in the ER hallway for hours. Don’t get me wrong the staff is excellent, Jefferson NEEDS MORE ER ROOMS & STAFF. The hallway bit is a HIPPA & basic human privacy violation. I’m about ready to file a complaint to Medicare

Great Hospital, my husband had a colonoscopy done at the hospital, and we were amazed by the care he got, everyone was so attentive and caring. My first impression is excellent! I am an JH employee so decided to use a services for lower co-pays and do not regret it, we don't get the same in Philadelphia.

Loretta Simpson

ER was busy but nurses & other staff were friendly and responsive.

Gene Lambor

The Incredibly Great care I received from Jefferson ER in Sewell NJ, has saved my life! Huge thanks for the whole ER team and then the whole follow up team in the Hospital! Truly exceptional work and I could not be happier with them!

Sarah Qureshi

I wish i can give you below 1 star. My sister had a baby on Saturday. The doc or the nurses would not even come and check up. They are extremely unprofessional. The department is ran by residence student (if we knew this before, we would have never gone there). My sister got epidural due to long labor and i was there all the time. We were there since 11 am in the morning. The doc suppose to come check her around 6:15 pm, but they got stuck at some other procedure (circumcision which apparently was more important than to deliver the baby), so we waited and waited. Every time i go to nurse station to find out where the doc is, they will tell me that they are coming. When my sis get to end of labor, i went to find out about the doc, but nurses will tell me that she is coming and its normal for her to feel pressure, and there is nothing to worry about. Finally doc decided to come at 8 pm and we find out that the baby head was out strangled with umbilical cord around his neck. Baby came out itself because no one bother to check to see what is going on with the body. Baby came out not crying and heart rate to be 60. After giving him oxygen, finally he started to cry. Thanks God baby was OK, but how this whole thing was handled was extremely unprofessional and i would say all this happen due to negligence from nurses and doctor on duty, Stacy. What would happen if doc would have not come for another 10 to 15 min? Save your patents and baby's life and find some other good hospital.

Michael McLaughlin

Cannot believe this hospital is still in business. Everything is so bad here it's to much to list. Do your self a favor and leave this hospital before they hurt you.

Andrea McBride

Great staff very friendly!!! Clean hospital!!!

Patti S. Fiorella

I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN THE HANDS OF THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!! Forget about UNPROFESSIONAL, THESE PEOPLE ARE BLATANTLY RUDE, BEOND DISRESPECTFUL, ARROGANT FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER!!! I was brought in by ambulance, given an EKG & TOLD I'D HAD A HEART ATTACK. THEN GIVEN APPROXIMATELY 7 PILLS & WITH NO EXPLANATION TOLD TO "JUST TAK'EM" AFTER ASKING WHAT THEY WERE!!! I DON'T THINK SO! I asked again what each pill was & the old bleached blond/ half gray with dirty truck driver man hands, ripped the small cup from my shaking hand, huffed loudly & stormed out of the area mumbling what I'm SURE was a rude comment, returned a few minutes later and said "The dr said he already explained what they were & he's not doing it again!" NOT THE CASE!!! What he told me was only that they were going to give "SOME MEDS & DO A SECOND EKG"!!! No information concerning WHAT THE DRUGS WERE OR FOR WHAT PURPOSE THEY WERE BEING GIVEN! Are they going to make my heart beat faster? Are they going to slow it down? Ect! I'm literally getting a migraine just THINKING ABOUT THIS, therefore will continue later, what may be a book as to WHY YOU SHOULD NOT PUT YOUR LIFE IN THE HANDS OF PEOPLE THAT I WOULDN'T EMPLOY TO WORK IN THE MORTUARY!!! WHICH IS WHERE I WOULD HAVE ENDED UP IF I HADN'T removed the garb & intervienious lead!!! STAY TUNED, IT'S TRULY UN BELIEVEABLE IN THIS DAY & AGE!!!

Josh Flemnings

Staff is so rude.

First and last time coming here. 35 people plus in the waiting room. Theres no doctors on staff and been in waiting room since 1pm and it is late evening with no ETA on when we will be seen. This is pathetic, do yourself a favor and go to Virtua. Jefferson is a failure.

Marian Baus

Staff was kind and professional. It was very busy in the ER, put the nurses and Doctors handled it quite well.

Katie Rotella

My husband went there with a nail in his thigh. Never saw a doctor although they did take xrays to confirm where the nail was. They told him to go home and find a doctor that could do it as an outpatient. Took 8 hours of frustration to get that poor, pathetic, and calloused opinion. It has now been a week since my first review and I responded to their stock reply about how they strive to be the best, however they have never tried to contact me. 5/23/19

Bobby D

I live 5 minutes from here and after a few visits, I now gladly drive 30 minutes to Virtua. This place is slow, and the staff does not seem to care about anything. If you are seeking out frustration, long waits and an unconcerned staff, then this is the place to go.

Nicholas Novak

Went here for the first time today to get my girlfriend insulin due to the fact that my mother accidentally broke her vials, the staff was incredibly sweet & helpful. got her scripts expedited in no time, we were in & out with absolutely no problem! very surprising for an emergency room visit. Cleanliness was pretty on point from what i saw, as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Michael Richards

Would give them a less rating then this one star if I could give them negative marks !, First the staff rude unprofessional , don't read people charts and forget who they gave meds too and try to give me the wrong meds a few times and I told them no way you have the wrong person the nurses rude don't care bout nothing or nobody the doctors are the worst too I came in on Tuesday night because my multiple scalrosis acted up they didn't get me inpaient to my room till Wednesday evening at6:45pm and then I have a messed up gallbladder n it was acting up they made me lay in pain for over 24 hrs waiting till next day to do n ultrasound when clearly could had done it that night and who ever the lazy Dr that was working that floor that night was so lazy to see me cuz he left the floor made up some lame excuse not to come to the floor and see me and yet to do my ultrasound that I was supposed to have at 9:30

Siani T

I hate this hospital so bad.

Sandy Lewis

Treated in ER for very agonizing and painful kidney stone. I had to wait 1 hr, but once I got back there, the care was excellent. ER nurse Tara was very knowledgeable and caring -- she even predicted it was a kidney stone and where it would be located. She was right! Dr. Weeks was very sweet and gave me the option of staying for surgery or going home and trying to pass it. He even called a urologist to get a second opinion besides his. They made sure I was pain-free and explained all the testing. I'm sure ER's all over SJ are backed up with patients who use them for "non-emergencies" or things a PCP or urgent care could handle -- hence, the long waits.

Colleen Heisler

Two and half weeks ago I had a full hip replacement at Washington Twp Hospital. I never write reviews but felt that I had such a positive experience that everyone I came in contact with deserved praise. I was only in for two days but everyone and I mean everyone was just kind, attentive and professional. My nurse George Mihalko after the surgery was like a guardian angel. It felt like he never left my side. Nurse Janine who is a night shift nurse was as sweet and caring as could be. The girls who did the physical therapy we so informative. I learned more from them than anyone what to expect at home and I praise them for that. I am doing well and its because of the care I received. Forever thankful.

ldp118

The nurses here are very very unprofessional and rude. Making smarts remarks at my mom. I would give them 0 stars if i can. I will look for other hospital for the future.

Kelly Osvold

I was brought in by ambulance to the ER. I was having a heart attack. There was quite a wait. I was sent out of the ER area to the front waiting area. There I waited several hours before I was brought back into the ER. All the while I had been trying to get a hold of my own cardiologist. Once in the ER my own cardiologist was reached. He had me transferred to Lady of Lourdes. At Lourdes they were waiting in an OR for my arrival and I had surgery immediately.

Jessica Hiller

Waited forever in the waiting room, when I finally got called back then waited forever in a bed in the hallway, no privacy and no attention from anyone. No updates on what was going on. Didn’t run any tests or do basically anything. Pretty sure that even forgot about me at some point

Michael Shaffer

Currently sitting here in the waiting room, been waiting for 2 hours for my sister to get seen. This is the 3rd time I’ve been to this hospital and the waiting periods get worse and worse every time. It is crazy how some people can sit here in pain or with other medical problems and just wait for hours.

Dave C

Hands down the worst er I have been to. The wait is almost laughable. Almost 6 hours to be discharged. I don't know who runs it but they need to go. Zero stars

Shamira Greenwood

I was transferred to this hospital for surgery & had not one issue doctors and nurses were amazing. Good service & janitors were also polite and helpful. Best hospital experience yet.

Lona Penton

I would definitely come back. Excellent care! Not crazy bout the food but....the care my Mom received was very impressive!

Rev Dr Lawrence Potts

They are good for broken fingers but anything else, get out of that hospital!

Kathryn Wilson

The service is horrible. I’m not at an ER to wait. The staff was rude and unprofessional.

Tim Tam

One of the worst hospitals in our area in my opinion. Always busy, they don’t have near enough room for patients and usually just place people in hallways and get patients confused with each other. It’s actually amusing to see how unorganized of a hospital they are. This place needs changes asap. Only reason they are getting two stars instead of one is because I honestly feel bad for the overworked and stressed staff and SOME seem like they genuinely care.

Carlo Tropiano

The absolutely worst emergency room. It’s only a matter of time until urgent care can do more medically and hospitals start going bankrupt, no one has 8-10 hours to spend in the emergency room. This hospital is so cheap they don’t nearly have enough staff. When your told it’ll take 30 minutes for test results, and it’s been 2 hours. That’s a problem. This hospital should be ashamed of themselves. HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES OR TELL YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYEES TO PUT A LITTLE PEP IN THEIR STEP.

Kelly Hagel

Excellent Staff!! My daughter has multiple rare chronic conditions they had alot more knowledge then any other area hospitals. This is the ONLY hospital we will be going to in the future .

Alyssa E

Would give 0 if possible. Front ER staff extremely unprofessional and rude to patients. Quoted 30 min wait time, 3 hours later still not brought back. Save time, drive to a different hospital if you can. Not worth the wait for subpar care.

Sarah Myles

The nurses are amazing! They're so kind and really care. I was in there a few times add they always took good care of me. Doctors however are 50/50. Some are amazing and some are terrible. One took very good care of me when I had a severe asthma attack but the doctor I had when I was in there for pneumonia was unprofessional. He had no bedside manner. I would ask him questions and tell him what was wrong. He wouldn't believe me. He thought I was overreacting. He gave me misinformation that terrified me for weeks until my primary doctor corrected it. The nurse cared way more. She suggested I was retested for things before she felt comfortable releasing me. I wish I could remember their names.

TruckinWoman

Staff, and nurses are so friendly and helpful. But when you're a patient and order some food off the menu given for your condition. They will omit stuff, like the chicken noodle soup that you ordered. Their patient menu should also list what's in the meatloaf, and some of the other food items. My husband is allergic to onions, and we later found out that the meatloaf contains onions.

Peggy Derieux

Seamless attention from arrival to departure! Highly recommended!

Natalie Ostrowski

Wait time is ridiculous. Some of the staff is very pleasant, but some are quite rude. Only reason to come here is because it is so close by, but it’s worth it to drive a little farther for better service. 3+ hours just to get papers that say we can leave.

Barbara Scull

My 84 year old father fell. Contusion on back near ribs with excessive bruising and swelling. Been in er 4 hours and not checked yet for bleeding/internal injuries. They then moved him into a room with 6 other er patients who are in beds. Disgraceful. I will NEVER go to this hospital. Ever

Lisa Pacell

Wow I really can NOT say enough horrible things about this hospital!! I wouldn’t give any stars, but I had to in order to post this. All they do is misdiagnose patients and ignore them. They do not care about any of they’re patients lives! Take my advice if you want to live please do not go to this joke of a hospital! They told one of my family members nothing is wrong but he found out from another hospital that he actually has a blocked artery.. don’t waste you time or your life at this place

Bob Rahl

Phone System very frustrating. I'm calling from Palm Springs, CA to Jersey and it took me a full 20 minutes to get through to anyone.. Not a life and death situation, Thank God. But also a SERIES of dropped calls WOULD have make me upset if it were. My father was admitted the night before and I was calling to check in on him. A simple phone tracking system would make this connection seamless. Thank you for looking into this for I am assured your mission is quality medical care.

Nikki Holman-G

The worst hospital I wish I could give you a 0. Boyfriend was taken there after a car accident ... he was hit very hard couldn't even get out the car without assistance.... they took no pictures of his head/neck/back... nothing gave him motrin and a muscle relaxer and said see ya! WORST HOSPITAL EVER!

Bill D

I found the staff and the food to be GREAT.

mary norante

Both myself and my husband have had horrible experiences with pre-op nurses but this was in cherry hill. They were very rude, didn't want the spouse back there and it was just a stressful experience when you as a patient are already stressed out. That being said, my husband had to have surgery at Jefferson in Washington Twp. Knowing the issues we encountered before I called to let them know we are high anxiety patients and my husband want me back there with him in pre op. I talked to a not so nice nurse(rolling my eyes cause here we go again). She told me they don't want a spouse back with them in pre op because its easier on them, have had people pass out when an iv is going in, etc. Needless to say I told her I was going back with him. A few more conversations a couple of days before, asked our surgeon to help. The most helpful were the people in pre admission. They contacted a manager and was told the morning we got there that everyone would be aware I was going back with him. OMG they were wonderful. Treated us with kindness and compassion knowing how nervous we were. My husband wanted me back in recovery when he woke up and guess what, they arranged it and I was with him. I was able to be with him the whole time except for surgery (which duh I knew). They treated me kindly, even asking if I needed something to eat or drink as this was a long day. I want to say thank you and you have no idea how appreciative we are for how you treated us. We were treated like VIP's. This scary experience was less so because of all of the nurses and staff.

Ray Tipton

7.5 hrs to find a kidney stone! So ridiculous! Patients hippa laws at risk as patients are in hallways!!! As my wife and I sat there there was a man discharged and came back 3 hrs later due to a possible stroke

Dawn M.

This is the 2nd visit here .. They treated me with excellent care during my visit here this time. They were very caring supportive and there was someone around me doing tests at all times. Also checking on me. Especially because of breathing and chest pain. I was scared. The Drs that care of me did every test under the sun to make sure I would get the correct response and treatment..I am so blessed to have had this treatment and thankful. I know that your hospital is extremely busy. Right now your basically the only hospital to come to. So I hope that your hospital 's management see's this. Please hire some more people they are so badly needed .. I have been a patient of your for well over 11 years. At 1 point and time you saved my life. Please I know the Drs there and the Nurses to give excellent care. There are so many people that are to sick to even speak that need you. If you would like to call me please feel free. May God bless all the people coming to you. Also for you Drs and nurses and aides and anyone else I'm missing. I prayed for you all. Thankyou. Ms. D..

Pat O'Neill

My husband had surgery here on May 17, 2016. EVERYONE was great.! Friendly , knowledgeable and efficient. My only complaint is that the doctor who did the surgery did not come himself and speak to my husband before his release.

Mary Sammons

I have visited this hospitals ER many times and have waited for hours on end even 11 hours in January and was not half as upset as I am tonight with being here so far for 7 hours. The Nursing staff is very unprofessional the doctor had no idea if the service he requested was even done and NO ONE checked on anyone but worried about their salad and how it smelled. More over I don’t care that the last two times we were in the hallways but no privacy curtains are placed up. No blanket was offered and my daughter who is battling to get herself right isn’t good enough for the same treatment as others. After 10 years and even all of the doctors being associated with this hospital we will be making a change. This is a said day when NO matter the time of day you nurses don’t care and your doctors don’t get it

karl hodgel

They don't have no sycunit in their

Eileen Knopka

Got there at 10:30am felt like I was having a heart attack. Was taken for an ekg n blood work an hour later. U would think w/symptoms of a heart attack maybe they would be a little more considerate. After they did the test still sat there for 5 more hours. Ended up leavin n goin 2 an urgent care where I actually did end up being told that I did have a mini heart attack. NEVER GO THERE, COULD HAVE ENDED UP REALLY BAD JUST WAITING. SO GLAD I LEFT. IT's sad that u go in having chest pains n then u actually never see a doctor. WAY UNDERSTAFF AND THE BATHROOM FLOORS WHERE BLACK N DIRTY. JUST A VERY DIRTY NASTY NON CARING PLACE. Also if u look at most of the reviews when people had a bad experience the same reply from the owner is on everyone. DO YOU REALLY STRIVE TO BE A BETTER HOSPITAL. From now on I will drive further to get real help when needed. Like Inspira in Woodbury. Oh and one more thing when was be check in for my insurance n information was ask if there was a doctor I would like my results sent to, but when I was leaving asked if my results would be sent 2 my doctor was told no that they have to call and request the results. What a joke.

Tanya Lewison

They leave you sitting in the hallway for hours. No clue how to care for special needs.

Fallon Fleming

I hate to even give this one star. If I could, I’d give it ZERO. This is the worst hospital and especially the worst ER ever in history. The staff is HIGHLY unprofessional. They neglect their patients. Staff members sit around at the nurses stations and “forget” there are patients. They talk flippantly about their jobs while patients can hear. Openly speak of how they “might see the patient. If I have time. Otherwise they can sit and wait for the next staff member to come in.” This hospital is a JOKE. Please, if you have something serious going on - DO NOT GO HERE. This hospital needs to get bought out or shut down. Give the funds to a more deserving hospital. No wonder this hospital has SUCH a low rating.

Anthony scavuzzo

5+ hrs in the waiting room. Still waiting. They need more doctors in this place. Terrible. And the worst part once we see the dr it will most likely be for 5 mins then out. This place sucks

Rocco Centrone

Totally ridiculous going on 7th hour just in waiting room, this hospital was more efficient before Jeff took over they should re think their motto “redefining how health care is delivered” because that’s not working

S Mywthr

The wait time in the ER is outrageous. I came in at 4pm, it is now 4:15am and we are still here..There is absolutely no excuse for anyone being in the ER for over 12 hours.

Landis Digiacomo

Worst hospital ever went thier with an asthma attack an I didn't even get scene my a dr they had me wait a half hour and couldn't breathe they gave me a treatment in the lobby with a o2 tank

L Fitz

STAY AWAY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!Two visits to the ER with our son in agonizing pain and hours of vomitting issues. Spent WELL OVER 16 HOURS over two days to be discharged with Tylenol codine and with Pepcid!!! Even tho he was still vomitting and unable to keep the meds and pepcid down!!! Brought him home to North Jersey hospital and one simple test later and BOOM! Diagnosis its the gall bladder!!! They are Keeping him and waiting on surgery. Avoid this hospital!!!! Two of the nurses were kind and pointed out a few helpful things but the ER doctors were a major disappointment.

THE LAW & ORDER UNIVERSITY

For those of us who've traveled whether it's in the Continental United States or Outside the Continental United States and sitting in the departure lounge that is the scenery of the waiting area/room. The first time I'd ever seen so many people in an emergency room waiting area sitting patiently to get medical attention from one of the medical providers at the hospital. Imagine you're not feeling well and you go to the Emergency room only to be told that you will have to wait at least five hours before you can see a doctor? America marketing strategy to the world that everything is "First Class and Top Rated, " and It's a facade because the system is that of "Third World countries!" When you checked in at the Emergency Room counter, there is NO privacy and if you're a private person visiting this hospital take away your privacy once you go up to the table. Whoever can hear your problem will listen to what you're saying to the reception, and she repeats it for the other customers to understand. In South Florida, the emergency rooms and the members of staff make sure that three is privacy between the receptionist and patients which usually happen or take place in a small room with the door securely closed. At Jefferson people sitting in the Emergency Room area waiting to be called loudly by one of the receptionists or employees working at the hospital as if you're at one of the international airport's departure lounges waiting to board your flight back to the great United States of America. The reality with this picture, this is the United States of America, and we better get used to getting "Third World countries, " treatment from our health and wealth (a majority of Americans are living in abject poverty). In South Florida, it would've been a different scenario as they would give the patient a small disposable necklace that vibrates when it is your turn. Up north is not all that great as they put it in the media. Five hours to see a doctor!

Heather MacVicar

From the ER to Same Day Surgery & places in between I have been treated with kindness & helpful staff & people who genuinely enjoy doing their jobs I have had several nurses in stiches with a joke about coffee & while I was out of my room for a test unbeknownst to me a nice big cup of coffee was waiting for me & a note saying enjoy it. This hospital has given me a second chance at life & I am living it each & every day. I am proud to say I beat cancer & I am a survivor.

Judy Cogan

I am still in the waiting room going on 8 hours. Haven't seen a doctor or nurse in 4-5 hours.

Bonnie Palmer

Extremely rude emergency staff

amier Rodrigues

Hi was in to get indused at 11 am at 6 pm there doctor doctor kanoff came in my room and told me that he was going to have to give me a csection because he had plans with his wife’s mother I then had to get my iv removed and drive in my own vehicle in complete labor to cooper hospital to give natural labor there was no remorse only the nurses were sorry a complete disgrace I wouldn’t trust that hospital with your life not to mention he was the only doctor on what would have happened if something went wrong with one doctor

Artemis nHounds

I was a doula last night at this hospital. The staff was amazing. A nurse from er took me all the way to triage. The nurses were caring, attentive, and and just fantastic in every way. Couldn't ask for a better staff in conjunction with Rowan midwives

Roselvr Sue

Was there last week for a possible broken nose. It had o be my best experience so far as I've not had good luck with the ER, always long wait times. They got me out within 2 1/2 hours with doing an onlineX-ray and CT. I hope this means the ER is changing

Evan Font

Disclaimer: This is only a review of my experience. I know that this is a difficult job and I know that I could never do it. Sat in the waiting room for three hours with my pregnant girlfriend who has become barely able to breathe. Finally spoke to a doctor and informed us that there is a chance there could be a blood clot in her lung and they need to do a CT scan. That was almost an hour and a half ago. Still sitting here. That's it. In the four and a half hours we've been here, they checked her vitals once and have not run any other tests as of this right. The total amount of time we've spoken with any nurses or doctors has been a total of maybe ten minutes. This is horseshit.

Samuel Marquez

I have had to use his facility several times and several times with family members.Best treatment and care I could ever ask for. Treatments were for elective work (hernias, shoulder replacement, etc.) and accidents. Always good treatment - nurses, doctors, therapists. And the food was absolutely fine also.

Steven Welch

Had a heart attack in January 2018. They kept me sitting in the emergency waiting room for SIX HOURS before I saw a physician. When I told them I was leaving, by magic a doctor could see me. Once admitted to the hospital, the care was excellent.

Estelle Messenger

Worst nightmare knowing this is the closest ER to our home!! NIGHTMARE AND BE PREPARED TO BE THERE FOREVER

COLDICE Games

Good people work they

Jenn Demby

Wish I could give this ER -1 stars. People languish in the waiting room/ lobby. 4. 5 hours and haven't seen a doctor yet, yet I feel too dizzy with chest pains and high blood pressure to sign out and go elsewhere. They run tests and check vitals but from the waiting area/ lobby ! So far the staff lacks compassion, they are not friendly and it is just an awful ER experience.

Erica DiPaolo

Went to Kennedy's er sometime before 10pm last night with severe pain to the point of nearly passing out multiple times had my vitals checked a few minutes after arriving glad I had the good sense to check the blood pressure machine "very high at 151/89" because the nurse did not inform me of my temp which I'm sure was also above average because I was extremely flushed and sweating bullets. There were very few patients waiting when I arrived and no more than a few still waiting when I left. I proceeded to wait in the waiting room until almost 1am when I decided to let someone know that I was leaving I was informed that I was next to be seen so I decided to hang in there until almost 2am after I watched 2 more people be taken back I decided that was it and left still in a tremendous amount of pain... take my advice if you need to be seen take the extra few minutes and go to Cooper or Lourdes you'll be glad you did and you'll receive much better care! Only rated 1 star because you have to in order to comment in my opinion they shouldn't get even half a star!

Villeen Wright

I wish I could give 2 ratings. The staff at check in are scum human beings who need to be retrained on empathy and compassion. People are here because they’re hurting and scared and treating everyone like an inconvenience is nothing short of inhumane. I’m sure the job is stressful, but if its so bad you treat injured and sick people like animals and talk down to them and sigh and act frustrated then clearly this is not the job for you. The staff once you get in (4 hour wait time.) seem like clear headed decent people. They don’t deserve one star but the check in people are too awful. They should be ashamed.

robert mcguigan

Doctors do not work together as a team; sometimes they do not even read your file before they stop by your bed for a quick visit. Often, I had to update doctor since he did not read file or even seem to remember previous visit. Very unprofessional. Nurses were friendly and very helpful, but not consistent from shift to shift. Again, no team concept. Room service meals were nice, but will never make up for disjointed medical care. If this hospital hopes to achieve the quality of Jefferson Hospital, they have a long way and many years to go. Unless you had a serious chainsaw accident and will bleed out before you make a hospital in Camden or Philadelphia, you should drive past Kennedy Hospital.

Tom Broccoli

If I could I would give this Hospital 0 stars. I would please find another hospital to go to if you value your life or the life of your loved ones. This hospital should be closed. They don’t care about the patients and apparently they have a priority scale for the surgeries. All surgeries should be a priority they made my wife wait 15 hours 2 days in a row before giving her fluids. I definitely do not recommend this hospital. Do Not go to this hospital!!

D&J Designs

Awful place! I checked into a empty emergency room at 9pm, waited for 4.5 hrs before I got called back. Needed an iv & was poked 4 times before they got it. Then I was told they needed to redo my iv because the line was the wrong size for contrast! Service was atrocious, no bed side manner whatsoever! Finally left at 5:30am (8.5 hours later) just to be told I had a pulled muscle!

I've been going to this hospital my entire life since it's the only one nearby. The name change to Jefferson doesn't mean this place is magically fantastic. I've heard many instances of it now being worse than when it was Kennedy. Shocking, I know. How could the bar get any lower than Kennedy? I think they figured out a way though, sadly. Overall this hospital is sometimes terrible and sometimes great. The problem is, when lives are on the line, "sometimes terrible" is not acceptable. I understand and appreciate what medical professionals do for a living, but they need to step it up. The for-profit healthcare industry is destroying medical care and no one involved seems to care. Students, nurses, and doctors need to start advocating and fighting for a system that provides good care to all people at all times. Until that happens, We're stuck never knowing if a hospital is going to kill us or save us. It doesn't matter what hospital or where. They all have these problems. The system is broken. Anyway, the last time I went to this hospital the care I received was good. Take that as you will since every experience and every emergency is different. I hope you get great care and I hope this place can become an example of high quality medical care sooner rather than later. Time will tell. I just hope people don't die while we're waiting for Jefferson to step up their game. I will continue going here because it's the closest hospital to me. I know this place can be great because I've seen it, but I've also heard horror stories.

Would give zero stars worst ER ever

After approximately 2hrs in waiting rm I was taken to an intake rm. I came to the hospital (approx 730pm) with complaints of severe lower back pain and abdominal pain. While in there I received a catscan that my rounding dr said should see both my back and abdomen problems. Explaining it sounded like a UTI I insisted it's not and I just need an answer and something for pain. He return (approximately 2am) to say I have an appendix issue! I was admitted for observation. After being admitted 330am I was given morphine for pain. I got a hospital rm abt 5am. I was given a breakfast menu and met my attending staff for my stay. I spoke w SEVERAL dr.s all of which were not communicating. Several opinions and concerns regarding an appendectomy were turned into no problems w appendix, the swelling is gone take advil for ur back come back if pain persists. Definitely not a good experience.

I came late one night, it was practically empty, I had lost complete vision in my left eye, and most of it in my right eye, my eye was red, light sensitivity, extreme 10/10 agonizing pain - to any eye movement, or light, even through the "good" eye, i used an eye-patch to help stop some light, I was giving a visual acuity test, even though i couldn't see, I was given an ultrasound of my eye to check for retinal detachment, the numbing eye drops did nothing, since the entire eye was inflamed, numbing eye drops only stop feeling on the outer layer of the eye they suspected pink eye, corneal abrasion and "episcleritis" and sent me home with no eye drop medicine! nothing at all. Mind you i'm going blind. Turns out, I have Iritis/Uveitis (wills eye philly diagnosed me), which is sight threatening inflammation, which causes your eye so much pain, and blindness, my vision never came back all the way, i spent months trying to find help, because of Jefferson, i lost vision i'll never get back, due to the poor care, I suffered psychologically because of the pain, they told me to press an ice pack onto my eye! ONTO MY EYE, my eye was blood red, i was blind in that eye, i couldn't even touch my eye or face without screaming, writhing in pain. If i had been given proper pain management with steroids, i could have saved my eye sight, but they sadly did not care. I have nightmares still of this night, i couldn't believe i was sent away with no care at 2.a.m. . . I told them in the E.R that my vision had been like this for WEEKS, there was no itching ( to rule out pink eye, no drainage ) no touching of the eyes, no eye contacts, I told them i tested negative for STD's/STI's which i did, to rule out syphilis. I had no infections, no nothing, they even gave me discharge papers telling me to come back if anything became worse, why would i come back? You did nothing for my pain, you did nothing for my inflammation, you did nothing at all! I disputed the charges and refused to pay, for ZERO treatment (forcing me to take vision test, when i cant see) asking me my pain hundred times but do nothing for it, tell me its allergies by a doctor?! Even with the pirate eye patch, light would go through it and cripple me. Even the "good," eye, any light or movement from my good eye caused pain in the bad one, since the muscles of those organs are so closely connected Please avoid this hospital, sadly the healthcare in this country is horror-movie bad, i was polite, calm and patient with the staff, but it meant nothing.

Holly

I would give this facility negative stars if possible. Due to their lack of knowledge and/or caring staff....I have lost multiple loved ones on their behalf. Very slow and inefficient quality of care given to me and many others I know.

Dominic Gaines

Just to know this place has money to rebuild whatever, but not take in the fact people sit in their waiting room for hours on end. Like what is an emergency room then if I come in at 4:30 but not walking out the doors until 8pm. I just wish this hospital would speed up as far as how fast the business is coming and going.

Wait time in the Emergency Department was NINE hours. Vitals were only checked by triage nurses once during this duration. All intake rooms were full so many patients were seated in the lobby. Nurses were clueless as to how long it would take for patients to be seen by physicians and kept saying that it would only be a few more minutes. We ended up leaving due to excruciating pain and being unable to stand up and walk and going to another more well-equipped and capable Emergency Department within the area. When discharging, no papers were signed and a nurse simply said, "Good for you." Triage nurses, front desk receptionists, and physician's assistants all had a snarky attitude and were very rude. They seem to have forgotten that patients present the ED because they are in pain and are not here for fun. The worst part of the entire experience was when the physician's assistant seated in triage did not know how to obtain medical records; she insisted that copies of X-rays and CT scans can only be viewed and printed once and kept repeating that "[her] job is to help people and not answer [my] dumb questions." She was unwilling to help with a very common, simple question. When calling the next day to request copies of medical records and CT scans run the previous day, I was told that the name, birthdate, and address were all inputted incorrectly in the system. It took an hour to locate that my father was even a patient in the ED because of a single person's illiteracy. Overall, another disappointing, frustrating, and life-threatening experience at this so-called hospital.

Ralph Calderone

Very clean hospital, great cafeteria and comfortable waiting areas, Walgreens delivers scrips. So far very satisfied.

Sherrie Page

I never knew service could be this way. Who knew? I didn't. ☹️ A four hour wait... I should have drove to Philadelphia. Their ER's are impeccable... even in the urban areas!

N Han

Terible service. Name has changed to Jefferson but still severely understaffed in ER. Lack empathy and absolutely no sense of emergency. All the employees are still the same as if they were Kennedy.

Mike Mancini

I can not say enough about the quick, efficient professional care I recd at Jefferson. The Emergency room Nurses (my primary Nurse Liz and Maureen), the Drs, the entire staff who I am sorry I cant give a shout it to by name since there were so many involved in my care...Thank you.. Phenomenal, caring, awesome, thoughtful professionals and people....each and everyone.

Jamie Mock

This is my mother's 3rd chemo treatment here and will have her future treatments here.. Its an all day process .. sometimes don't even leave till 6 pm.. and should have recliners not only for the patient receiving chemo but also for their care takers that wait with them.. and this has happened Everytime.. the chemo floor should be stocked with enough recliners for patients and their family / care givers .. everyone should be comfortable.. doesn't make no sense and is lack of caring on the hospitals part.. very sad!! And disappointing!!

comora gray

I would give a ZERO. I went to this hospital bc it was close to where I was and I was having breathing problems and chest pain. Went in at 10am and LEFT at 2pm ON MY OWN WITHOUT BEING SEEN BY A Dr....I asked twice if they called me bc people were going back AND leaving after coming in after me.. I LEFT IN TEARS And drove myself to inspira in Woodbury where I was taken right back and taken care of! Thank God I made it!

Ashley Chavis

Great hospital

George Larose

Nothing but good things to say. I've been admitted thru ER once for cardiovascular emergency and have visited other times for imaging. Called today to negotiate imaging prescription with new insurance and new specialist which was a nightmare when I first called other facilities. Fabulous, friendly, professional service at Jefferson. One phone call. Everything handled. Thank you Dyshell, customer service rep. You're a real pro.

Bernie Forward

The wait in the ER was 4 hours. My husband was later admitted. The nurses were very good in the ER and on the first floor where he stayed for 4 days. He thought the food was great. Our complaint the room was never cleaned the whole time all they did was empty trash. I cleaned the toilet since my husband had diarrhea and I had to ask for clean sheets. This is unacceptable as far as I am concerned. Housekeeping needs to get on the ball.

Jessica Raab

I elected to have a surgery when I was having my third miscarriage so they could collect samples for testing. Weeks later I finally got a call that they had no idea what happened to the samples and they were gone. I had surgery for no reason and there was no way to reverse what had been done. To top it off because of this Hospital I had to have another surgery (elsewhere) to correct a uterine adhesion that I got thanks to Jefferson Washington Township. Also had my son here in 2015. Needed a vacuum assisted birth. The dr used so much force that the vacuum suction cup slipped off my baby's head leaving him with a large round wound on his head that took weeks to heal. He is almost 4 years old and has a very thin almost bald patch on the top of his head.

Destiny Kress

Truly such a great place to give birth to! My first time and from the NST and ultrasounds up in MFM the staff was amazing and always helpful! All the nurses, doctors, physician, lactation consultant, technician, food nutristionist and the house keeping have made me feel very safe and cared for!! I have met many many of them over the days I’ve been here and many of them are so sweet and come back to check in even if they don’t work because they wanted to check in to see how I made out from the time they left till now. I have never been so satisfied with such amazing staff and doctors who made my first birth an amazing experience! Even the staff in the NICU were very helpful and took the extra mile! I remember all the names of everyone who have helped me with this recovering process and I am honestly so happy to have met each one of them at the time I did and I am excited to meet many more! Ps even the student trainings are AMAZING! I thought I was speaking to a professional but the girl finished her training hours with me and I was so shocked to find that out because she was extremely helpful and amazing! Thank you jefferson for all your services and thank you to all the staff in every department that has helped in any type of way you are all truly amazing and I’m so grateful for such an amazing first time experience

Maggie Santiago

This hospital is horrible... if you want to wait three days to be seen by the doctor this is the place to go. Negligence at its finest!!!!!!

Olivia Simpson

If I could give this negative reviews I would. They treated my friend terribly. They caught an attitude with her, telling her they don't even know why she was there, and they refused to care for her in the way she requested to be cared for.

Kimberly Gresham

Sat there for over 4 hours with chest pains and SOB and they did nothing. Maybe if I died right there in the waiting room they’d see how bad my pains are. Not to mention they didn’t even check up on me or anything, I’m so disgusted and I’m never coming back! They changed the name and the place still sucks. They only got this one star because it was required to leave a review.

jess petsch

Negligence, unprofessional nurses, and accusations. I have a family member in the Intensive Care Unit and never have I ever seen nurses and charge nurses act so unprofessional in a hospital! We asked for a different nurse because the nurse our loved one had was extremely rough , didn’t change her foley( it was filled to the top), the nurse sternum rubbed (have her a huge bruise now on her chest) and pinched my grandmothers toes to the point where she woke up from a dead sleep and cried. Plus they haven’t suctioned her trachea so she was gasping for breathes. When we asked for any information the nurses would get overwhelmed and give us short answers and would just walk out!! Not only have all this has happened but they made accusations that I went up to a tech and got into a techs face! I never would do such a thing! Then they said I was banned from seeing my grandmother who’s now dieing in there!! Working in a medical field I have never had such a horrific experience in an intensive care unit!!! It’s unbelievable. How can a hospital get away with treating a patient and her family like this. The state medical board needs to know of these issues and address this, so no other family members have to deal what we all are going through!!

J D

I came from a car wreck with fractured ribs which went undiagnosed. Was left in the hall my entire visit. Terrible follow up instruction. This was when it wss Kennedy.maybe Jefferson is sprucing it up in there not sure I want to find out though.

Numbaone Barbers

Don’t bring your loved one here. My grandmother is currenlty a patient going on four weeks. The staff is unproffesional from guest services to the doctors. I was told by one doctor I was being negative when I told him I didn’t want him to discharge her when she was complaining of pain. Another called and just told me my grandmother is just laying their dying and he noticed I wanted her to return to rehab. He actually said, “Rehab what?” He suggested I either take her home or send her to hospice. So many other things I’ve witnessed...stay away from this place!!!

Maria Triantafillou

I would give this ER a ZERO if I could. Waited 7 1/2 hours to be seen. This is inexcusable. As you can see from the other reviews I do not stand alone. Do yourself a favor and drive into Philadelphia. I am a very patient person but they brought me to the point of screaming yesterday. I was happy I spared other people in the waiting room from sitting there and they left.

Lisa Duvall

Wonderful pediatrician ER doctors and staff!! Got seen immediately when we came in with my son. The peed unit is small so you get a lot it attention from the caring staff.

Taylore Braddock

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. No one in this hospital knows what they are doing. Arrogant staff, incompetent staff. All around an unpleasant experience and I'd recommend if your in need of medical care GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.

Annie Hewitt-Kaminski

The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing, and vice versa. This is bar none the most dysfunctional, inept, non-communicative and unprofessional hospital I've ever experienced. My husband was there for 4 days...no one comes to your room unless you beg borrow or steal them... case in point, the Hospitalist (doctor) never showed up to my husband's room until I called the administrator of the entire hospital (since it fell on deaf nurses' ears). If you ask anyone for anything (like meds), you're met with either exasperation or non-compliance. I had to request a room change 2ce for my husband because he was so ill-matched, with extremely loud, snoring or hacking-all-night patients -- and he still wound up pacing the hospital floors all night because the final roommate was so loud with lights blaring all night. I show up in the a.m. and he's crunched in a chair in the hallway with soaring blood pressure (which I had to bring to the nurses' attention the entire 4 days and it still remained high), I could go on for eternity but this hospital needs to be razed and start over, soup to nuts. And he was released even though he hadn't had a bowel movement for 4 days, with intestinal pain and discomfort, and we found out from the local pharmacist after his discharge that 2 small caps of miralax, given 6 hours apart (after I had to beg them to give them to him, main reason he was there!) would never have been enough to get him to go. The pharmacist gave us the remedy, which worked, when even the so-called gastrointestinal doc saw no problem with releasing him knowing he hadn't had one in 4 days. The Hospitalist is nasty and didn't want to order a sleeping pill for my husband, very unfriendly and rude. I completely managed my husband's care the entire 4 days and it was a full-time job, met with disdain at every turn. And my management of getting him care was mandated by the fact that he was completely ignored. And their "heart healthy" menu is loaded with heavy salt, fat, thick sloppy cheese and grease! Buyer beware, I'd say go anywhere but here! The only mystery with these reviews is how anyone could give this place more than 1 star!

Robert Hadddock

I'm Lo4-1 right now. just saying JEFFERSON

Crocotta Rogers

If I could give 0 or less stars, this review would be more accurate. I arrived, by ambulance, after a car accident and waited over 4 hours without being seen. They did the lab work and X-rays as soon as I arrived, then parked me in a corner in the waiting room for over 4 hours. No one checked in me as I sat, in pain, in this wheelchair. No one shared with me the results of my labs. After the excruciatingly long wait, My Brother picked me up and took me to Virtua in Camden where I was seen right away. When Virtua contacted Kennedy for my results, they took their sweet time sending those right over. I hate this hospital. They only noticed me as I was leaving.

Susan Doble

Horrible service in the emergency room. Has gotten worse since Jefferson took over. I have been here several times in the past couple months and it is bad everytime. Not very friendly staff. What the hell happened to this place? Is it that difficult to treat people with some courtesy and respect.

Carla Libby

I waited 8 hours for a room for my husband but staff very good It was a busy night

madi210

This hospital deserves NO STARS. Wait time is always 3+ in the emergency room!! They never have enough rooms for people who need car and just make them sit in the hallway. The nurses NEVER know the answers to any questions you have and hardly EVER see a doctor. Have been here multiple times and EVERY single time has been AWFUL. It does not get any worse than here. Please do not being anyone here. You will regret it. This hospital should be SHUT DOWN FOREVER. It's disgraceful here and I am so angry and disgusted.

Amanda Casey

This is the worst hospital to go to, they have an emergency room full of patients, while having a pizza party in the back. I waited in the waiting area for over 4 hours while patients who came after me were being taken back before me. While I haven’t been able to hold anything down in about 4 days but someone’s knee pain is more important lol ok. Nurse wanted to get snappy with me when I asked such an unorganized place with uncompassionate staff. They’ll get shut down eventually.

Bill Benham

Excellent staff and excellent service. Very short wait time and everyone was courteous and professional.

Natalie Crowthers

The nurses were great with my 4 year old daughter. She needed staples due to a fall. The nurses and doctors explained everything they were doing in a way that was easily understood. When they cleaned her wound, they even did her best to get the blood out of her hair. Thank you nurse Larin, Dr. Collins and the very nice dr who inserted the staples.

Mathew Palazzo

The nurses and attendants were exceptional. Care was excellent.

Deb lee

Horrible experience in Emergency room. Dr. Had no care about my condition. Didn't even bother doing blood work. Sent home with no answer. Nurse Jessica was rude and unprofessional. It is a complete violation of HIPAA laws to discuss a patients condition in a hallway full of patients. Time to find a new network of DRs. Who actually care about patients.

Cindy Jeanette

Horrible, staff was unfriendly. The suits were in waiting room passing out chips and water. What a joke. Wish I would have gone elsewhere.

Jennifer Izzo

This is being written as I currently wait in the emergency room with my fiance. Got here at 7:55am and it is now 11:04am and still waiting. Triage nurse is not the nicest by any means and the highlight of this is a toss up between someone walking through playing a harp or watching an elderly woman is a lot of pain being moved from one wheel chair to another?!? I let them know the last time he needed to be here he ended up staying for 6 days. They do not seem to care at all.

Adam cantrell

I was shown nothing but love by all the staff, great food if you are admitted.

Rayshawn Cannon

Terrible don't go here nobody cares and took them 4 hours to call me to the back with broken arm

Chris Rein

Was a patient for 5 days. Everybody I dealt with was very professional I was treated with the utmost respect. Went back to get medical records and within 10 minutes I was walking out the door with about 52 pages of records

Mary Mevoli

My husband had a wonderful experience in the hospital. He was in for 1 week. Nurses were very caring and the staff was very attentive to his needs. He has to go back for surgery and has no issues with the hospital.

Arleen I

Very bad service and unprofessional staff. Waiting to see doctor for hours unbearable pain... no compassion.

Peter He

Exceptional, awesome, caring, professional and humane, the words come to my mind when thinking about my experience at the ER at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital. Thank you for the great job!

Jean JNESS Nerestant

The team at Jefferson Hospital met the requirements of the day in a very professional and dare I say "loving" way. Today they helped bring my grandson into the world. They made my daughter in law very comfortable and assisted in making the delivery a memorable experience.

Laura DelValle

So much improvement since it became part of Jefferson!

Read this. Save your time and possibly your life. Just got a call, took 30 days because they had the wrong number, liars. Basically the Doctor lied and falsified my chart and I have no no way of proving he lied or provided terrible health Care. He misdiagnosed me twice and the nurse manager that called me said he wrote something different in my chart than what I was saying. Nothing they can do about copays because that is a system thing. By the way, your would think the nurse manager would need more than my name on the phone to confirm who I am and discuss private medical information, but apparently she does not. Also when I addressed being treated (mistreated) in a hallway and being treated (mistreated) in the lobby, the nurse manager said that is why they are building (WITH A CHUCKLE...AS IF SEEINGS NEEDLES ON A DIRTY CHAIR AND ALMOST PEEING MYSELF AFTER WAITING ALONE FOR HOURS IS FUNNY?) When I asked if this was it for my complaint, anything else I could do, I was told no. Copays are a system thing they can't do anything. I asked what recourse a person has when a doctor doesn't do his job right, provided poor care, and lied in my chart, and I was told to contact my insurance company. Way to pass the buck and not look into a serious matter. They rushed to help a guy that was going into rehab that night, even though he took meth, herioin, Adderall, and 4 other drugs for a total of 7 so he could be checked into rehab. He wasn't sick, he just needed them to say to rehab he was ok. He had 6 nurses, 3 techs, 2 doctors, and a drug rehab specialist, and was out in two hours because they rushed him so he could go to a rehab , yet I sat there for 10 hours, nearly peed myself, had to change in a hallway, and got misdiagnosed. And to top it off this guy on 7 drugs was pacing back and forth next to me talking to himself, appearing to be dangerous, but they left him without a guard. So the doctor lied, changed the diagnosis twice after he told me something else in the ER. The nurse manager confirmed he put something different in my chart than what he told me. So I just got an notification to email them as a response to my post. Are you kidding me? I emailed you 5 days ago right after I posted my review. It seems you are just replying to the Google reviews to appear like you actually care, but you have not responded back to my email from 5 days ago. So please stop leaving fake feedback when you have not responded to an email I sent about this exact issue and post. It is a shame I can't put a screenshot up here to prove you have had 5 days to reply. Had the same DR. Wetjen in the ER for the 2nd time. First time I was seen there I was misdiagnosed by him while he treated me in the waiting area /lobby because they were not taking anyone into the back in fear of giving the flu to others???? Fortunately Dr. I did not have shingles as you stated, it was a sinus infection. This time after waiting over an hour (which is super short for this ER). He saw me for less than 3 minutes and sent me for an MRI. Sadly he can't think for himself and he is dismissive of patient concerns. Reading the MRI results and me still not being able to walk after two bags of morphine and steroids he basically said it should go away in a week. It is a muscle pull he said. No further testing, and not being able to walk not because of pain, but because my spine won't let me stand straight. I physically cannot sit because it compresses my spine. Having the same issue 5 years ago requiring surgery. He just made up his mind and wouldn't check anything else, it is normal...we all have back pain...it should start to ease up on a week. Then he prescribes two days worth of pain meds and a steroid pack. When confronted he didn't care and offered to admit me when I called him on this so a specialist could check me another day. Great job settling for someone else reading a report and you not going to any extra lengths to actually help a patient. Two bags of morphine and I am still in terrible pain, you must be right, muscle pull, what a joke.

Faye Brown Brown

I loved the food and so does Ron He had eggs, grits, bacon, sausage and oatmeal 5.00. The food was good good good

Steve Sandrow

They took great care of my family at the ER, they do need some renovations done soon tho.

kaitlyn grehlinger

Went into the ER for pain in my leg that turned out to be a DVT. I was sent home without treatment and was not treated during my hospital visit. I was told to follow up with a vascular surgeon for treatment and couldn’t even get in to see that doctor for another two weeks.

Joanne Porter

The signage in this facility is very poor so make sure you get clear directions on where you are going from the front desk. I have called this facility several times for updates on my family member and I have actually been hung up on ,I guess due to poor communication. It's very difficult to get information if you are not actually at the facility. Also the Emergency Room at this facility is a nightmare. The staff is very professional and obviously doing their best but to have an admitted patient in the Emergency room for over 24 hour is unacceptable.

Call Me Witcher

I had a severely red eye, with a pain that was similar to a bruise being pushed on, i had blurry vision in both eyes, floaters, black spots and was dizzy - lights hurt my eye badly. . . and a grey curtain across my vision when i blinked the nurses were very nice, however i was given nothing for my eye pain, i had to ask for eye drops, which were only anti bacterial eye drops and not steroid eye drops for pain. . . was said it was pink eye, but i had no itching, no discharge, pink eye does not cause severe pain, i had an ultrasound by a wonderful doctor named Dr.Patel a male doctor.. another doctor came in and mentioned anti histamines, which i had already been using to no avail. .. really wish they sold eye drops in stores to stop eye pain the nurses were great, just wish i had been given eye drops to take away the pain, because i can't work or go to school with blurry vision plus severe eye pain, also can't look at lights without pain either i've broke my foot in half and that pain was nothing compared to my eye.

Lawrence Myers

Terrible experience. Couldn't even perform an appendectomy. Waited 9 hours to get transferred to a real hospital. Save yourself time and go somewhere else.

Mustafa Kaya

They so unrespectful and they dont care you. The staff want to kill time

Jakob Willcox

Got in at 8pm still in at 3am. Why? Because I was waiting with a fractured ankle rather drive to philly to get treatment then hear

Mike Liuzzi

Awful wait times with no compassion. Go to Virtua in Marlton - it’s faster even with the drive. We spent 3 hours with our 1 year old with a 104 fever. Then a year later my wife went in with vomitting and chest pains at 4:30am. There were 3 people there. It took 4 hours to even get called back. Absurd!!

Dawn Munson

This hospital did not follow my Drs orders and give me the correct amount of fluids. Also I had a very bad experience with them several years back that was never fixed or addressed but totally ignored. Avoid hospital if you can. I am so scared to go here that when my Dr tells me now to go get checked I won't go.

Allyson Velasquez

HORRIBLE SERVICE. My mother has been there since Thursday and they still had NO CLUE what was truely wrong. Had to pick her up and leave today because she was left alone all morning. No one would come when she would call nurse. Nurse Shirley laughed in her face when she finally did go to help and wasn’t truely giving her the help she needed. She was a fall risk patience and had to go to the bathroom ALONE. Her room didn’t even have a private bathroom. She had to share one with the whole floor. When the nurse took her IV out blood went all over her. She threw up and NO ONE came to help her. Ridiculous !!!!! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO. Go somewhere else if you want to be treated right and actually know what is wrong. They GUESSED their entire way around. She is STILL sick.

Fancy Brigade

ER is a nightmare, sitting in a hallway for 12 hours, no one can tell you anything, ask for help all you get I’m not your doctor or I’m not your nurse, I’ll get them for you and they fall into the abyss. God for bid you need help, your own your own Worse service I have ever ecperienced

Leigha Lynch

When it was Kennedy hospital they gave me five unnecessary spinal taps. Why five? Well they couldn’t reach the spinal fluid somehow with the first four and had to go get a different doctor to do it on his first try. Not to mention they numbed me in the wrong area so I felt the entire process. Good times. Then recently I had to go for a really bad kidney infection. The nurse blew my vein with the iv. And as she did it I told her that I thought she blew my vein and she got rude with me. Days later I have a gigantic purple and yellow bruise form where she blew my vein and I look like a drug addict.

Steven Gavarone

Arrived in ER around 9:30pm on a Monday. Now, this hospital/ER services a large area, but it’s far from inner city. The web site said 27 min wait time for the ER. The ER sign, once you arrive says 5 hours. Oh and it also says “Treating You Like Family”. Yeah, my family tells me dinner in 27 mins then makes me sit at the table largely ignored for 5 hours before dinner is served. And I don’t know why. This hospital is growing in leaps and bounds, so it can’t be a staffing issue. Or are they expanding hoping the staff will eventually show up? In any case, no one in this area should expect a 5 hour wait in the ER, those are inner city ER times, but going on 4 hours later, here we sit in the cold ER lobby waiting for our turn at the (one??) doctor that will see all these patients. We’ve been to this ER before. Never had more than a 2 hour wait, and that was prime time! Now, 5 hours is the norm with urgent care centers popping up all over? Inspria and Virtua creeping in, and you expect us to ACCEPT 5 hours as normal? This will be our last time here. Given this real wait time instead of the fake online ones, we might as well try a few of the other local ones, and get lucky that a competitor has a reasonable wait time for this part of South Jersey. Oh, and the staff so far? Largely disinterested. Your just a number to them, for sure. But they’ll be happy to run as many unnecessary tests as they want.

Very disappointed to say the least. Longest wait time ever, nothing explained, tests ordered but never performed, excuses excuses excuses....its like they just forgot we were here...as a nurse myself I understand that there are other patients/emergencies/etc...but they HAVE to do better

I just brought my daughter here and there is a 5 hour wait !! The receptionists are rude, they just want to sit there with their fake eye lashes, and treat people unprofessionally , horrible hospital !

Horrible! My sister had a blood pressure of 192/129 with a severe headache and they made her wait in the waiting room. When my mother and I questioned why she was put in the waiting room when clearly she was having a hypertensive emergency ,we were told that they had other patients with a higher priority. Oh and I checked on the website for er wait time it said 41minutes. My sister had already been there for 2 hours, he told me the wait was 4hours and he didnt know why the website said that! To my knowledge a hypertensive emergency is a high priority and not to mention they never gave her any medication to bring it down or help with her headache.

Horrible hospital. Went to the ER with an awful migraine, too dizzy to walk, and uncontrollable vomiting. Took over 2 hours to see a doctor. Took another 1.5 to then get medication. They admitted me and I stayed over night after a cat scan. When I woke up at 7am they moved me to another area. The nurse checked my vitals once when I moved area. Didn’t ask me how I was feeling at all or ask if I needed more medications. It’s now 11:30 and I still have not seen a doctor. I’ve requested to be discharged since a doctor still hasn’t seen me and I’d like to get care other places. They refuse to discharge without a doctor coming over but still can’t give me an idea of when the doctor will be here.

My husband was there for surgery earlier this week. From the surgeons, doctors, nurses, care takers to the valet service people... Excellent! Everyone courteous and helpful. I have only great things to say about the Hospital and staff!

Worst experience ever in regards to ER..this time around! Receptionist answered the phone "What's up" like she was fresh out of HS with no training. The nurses forgot to take important vitals signs. Never took my temperature. Someone's urine was sitting on a table near me the whole time I was there. This place gets worse everytime. I rather die trying to get to another hospital further away for better service.

Hospital is very unprofessional, no doctor or staff talks to each other, very slow and unorganized. Would avoid at any cost if possible!!!

Emergency room wait time was a little long but not horrible. Got admitted for pain in chest. Got morphine @3:15a ..at 7 a the pain wasn't horrible..at 9:15 it was excruciating, i was also hungry...I asked the nurse 2 times can I get something for pain. Dr told me I was being discharged and told me what he was giving me as a take home med. But I'm in pain now. He brought me this little bagged lunch and said the kitchen is probably closed. Yet while I'm waiting on my papers, the man next door says let me order some food before I go, and the nurse says ok. I won't be coming back here. They cater to men more...

Extremely slow ER. I was moved from my bed to a waiting area where I sat in a chair for ~3 hours without speaking to anyone or hearing the results of my CAT scan. I got here at 9am, it’s 4:24PM and I’ve spent most of that time just waiting to hear from anyone. No one checks up on you or briefs you, if you come here, be prepared to constantly remind the staff you exist.

Melanie Muse

Don’t come here if you have an actual emergency that you need attending to. It doesn’t matter if you’re a pregnant mother experiencing cramps and bleeding (current predicament) they won’t see you in under 3-4 hours. There is zero sense of urgency. They don’t care much about what medical issues are more urgent than others. I came here a few years ago, pregnant, with a gash on my leg, never bothered to stitch it. It was infected in under 24 hours. 4 weeks later I lost the baby and they told me it passed 4 weeks ago. Think about that one. I had to yell for them to take my last miscarriage seriously. I’m here again worried about another miscarriage and I’ve been waiting for three hours. DONT COME HERE. I called customer service to complain, they said someone was on the way to talk to me 20 min ago. Still nothing.

Worst Experience of my life! I waited in pain for HOURS in the ER. Then was told I should be seen at another hospital yet they never transferred me. They kept me in there for a week trying to "diagnose" me. I ended up getting proper care just a couple days later at another hospital and have not had any issues since, no thanks to Kennedy. DO NOT GO THERE!

Isabella Gonzalez

Been in the ER for HOURS. The doctors and nurses barely ever check up on me. The doctor said that they are preparing my discharge papers over an hour ago. Why am I not out the ER yet then? The service here is the absolute worse.

Stephanie Burke

Code blue! Extremely disorganized... waited over 4 hours in the emergency room. Needs a better worklow. Never will go again

Don't eat the food at the cafeteria. I've personally witnessed the chefs and the workers doing disgusting things with the food. Nothing is sanitary in there and the food will most likely make you sick. I've seen so many roaches crawling around on the floor under the tables in the cafeteria. This place is deplorable and needs to be shut down. By the way, don't go here if you have an actual emergency. It takes HOURS to be seen in the emergency room. Even after you get called back, you rarely see the doctors. They don't care about their patient's wellbeing at all. Only come here if you want to be neglected .
