Excellent Physical Therapy Program and Excellent Occupational Therapy they are so skilled and knowledgeable about their jobs I have never seen anything like their aggressive programs that get people moving!! I was a patient for 4 weeks I couldn't walk and I left there with a walker!! and after being home I can walk longer distances with my walker!! I have brought their motivational skills home with me!!

I recently had a complicated total knee replacement surgery and I am so glad my daughter Courtney recommended HealthSouth for my rehabilitation needs. This facility has THE BEST - PT, OT, Nurses and Techs to make your rehabilitative process a major success! I highly recommend this facility.

I've heard some horror stories from people that have been here and have had loved ones here. Some of the doctors think their high-and-mighty and do not listen to their patients. If you are a recovering addict and you tell them you do not want a specific type of medication make sure you check every dose because the doctor will do what they want to do anyway. In some cases you may not have a choice because it's what you need but when it's not mandatory the doctor should honor your requests.

The discharge was absolutely horrible. They tell you the patient is well enough to go home and push them out the door.

I was told that this was a rehab/hospital that could give the same care as a hospital. I was called on tuesday to tell me my mother was doing great and would be home on Saturday. She called me at 11:59 at night stating that she had buzzed the nurse and was having a hard time breathing yet no one answered. It took me more than four call to get through to tell them what was going on. I called my mother and said don’t worry I finally got a hold of someone. It took them 4 hours to determine she should go to the ER and the only thing they did for her was give her a nebulizer. The next day my mother was dead. After I requested and investigation they stated they reacted timely which was a lie and I will Perdue this further.

Checked into HealthSouth after having major back surgery and spent about 4 weeks there. All I can say is that if you need rehab this is the place to be. They did a wonderful job re-training me in all areas and when I got home was able to take care of myself. A big Thank you goes out to all concerned!
