I absolutely love this place! The staff is friendly, the therapists are awesome, and the nurses are so nice! My therapists Luke and Alison O. were the absolute best! They definitely care and are dedicated to giving the best patient care they can. Everyone here made my stay enjoyable and I appreciate it so much. I will definitely recommend Encompass Health to anyone who needs a rehab facility.

My 42 year old son spent nearly 5 weeks there following 8 weeks at Christiana after 2 strokes. Upon his arrival, he was a "double assist" who needed a slide board & lift to be moved out of bed. The staff & therapy department are responsible for him walking out! Case management was fantastic and we would recommend this facility to everyone!

The staff is very knowledgeable, pleasant, they make u feel very comfortable. I was there for two weeks following a stroke and they did an amazing job. I cried when I left because the staff was so kind. From the drs. Nurses, aids, housekeeping, therapy, speech therapist, even the kitchen staff. We were traveling in our RV when a serious health issue interrupted our trip. We were referred to Health South for extensive rehab. Fortunately for us we were treated to exceptional care!! Dr Khandelwal and the entire staff are exceptional. Even after we were discharged they continued to assist us on follow up issues. I just can not say or do enough to thank them!! We are now back in our RV thanking God and HeathSouth each day for such a remarkable recovery.

This is an excellent facility for in-patient rehab. After being in a coma for three weeks and being unable to walk as a result, I was admitted to Health South for rehabilitation. In two weeks time, I was able to walk with a walker and then able to walk with a cane. The care from the nurses was exceptional and the persons performing the rehab were extremely friendly and very well trained. I have nothing but praise for everyone I encountered at this facility...

This is a great facility. I went into the facility in June after back surgery and stayed for 3 weeks. The staff was kind with my condition and they were very knowledgeable in there respective fields. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is ever in need of in-patient rehab.

Understaffed, leadership is complacent, lazy, and incompetent. Most of the nursing staff is overworked with no consideration; however, they do the best they can with limited resources. The NP is grossly inept, but the medical director is one of the best out there!
