Don't expect help if your white. Every time you go there they always need one more thing from you. It might help if they would get on the same page when they tell you what paperwork you have to have the fiirst time you go. Three trios and not one time was it tje same. Illegals get treated better anywhere in the country.

My Mom is currently a patient here. She had a double bypass heart surgery yesterday morning. Everything went well. I believe I called every 4 to 5 hours checking on my Mom. Each time I called, which was 5 times yesterday, I received professionalism and friendly. Flora and Mike are amazing!!! Thank you for being with my Mom.

This place has no idea what there doing when it comes to labor! Been in the hospital 3 times this month and they sent me home, I was in there earlier today and I’m having period like cramps in my stomach and back pain, comes and goes but everytime They come back they get worse! They sent me home and I can’t even breathe! There no help at all you would think they would make you stay since I can’t sit long or lay in one spot to long !

I usually can't complain about this hospital but it was a nightmare experience today. The wait was ridiculously long, the waiting room freezing.I had to ask for an additional blanket for an elderly man who they had wheeled out and put under z vent.Five hours later as I was leaving he was still slumped over,no longer covered under that damn vent. My son had been up all night, was exhausted, I hadn't eaten since 11 am they would allow me nothing to eat or drink until after seeing a dr. Once in the back I have no complaints in regards to the clinical staff. They were great. After the dr told me o could get dressed and go home I got dressed and sat in the chair.Despite waiting three hours to be seen no one had taken my insurance. I went to the desk after 15 minutes asking they sent someone. Then I went back in the room and waited another 15. I kept looking down the hall. The third time I looked the registra was in the hall way stayi g she didnt see me on the bed so she didnt know we were in there. She did her thing and then when I asked if I could leave she said if I didnt want to wait for my D/C papers I could go When I had gone up to ask they send her the young man said he would get them ready. I waited a few but then went up to see if they were ready.Nut there was a young woman up there weeping and the PAwas talking to her.Not wishing to intrude and having been there for five hours I decided to leave. Once home I called to see if they would mail them and got a " you can drive back and pick them up. Today or tomorrow ". I will be calling tomorrow....

I came in with severe left abdominal and lower back pain. I've passed kidney stones before, I'm aware I have 7 that range in size up to 1/2". After being here for 5 excruciating hours I was told I would be admitted to "monitor the swelling in my kidney" but that "there's no stones". An hour after being brought to my room I used the bathroom, and peed out 2 kidney stones about 1.5-2cm in size. Through a 0.6cm urethra. And guess what they gave me for pain. Tylenol. ***UPDATE*** The day after being admitted, I wasn't given any antibiotics, after having my pee trapped in my kidney for over 6 hours due to the kidney stones. I was accused of smoking in my room (never did) it wasn't even smoky in the room. Wasn't allowed to keep my door closed and have privacy. After asking to have my IV unhooked to take a shower, it took my nurse 30 mins to come unhook it, and then no one came to tape it up and give me a towel. I had reached my wits end by 3 pm, after being there for 20 hours and receiving no treatment. No doctors had even come to see me by this time. My nurse had only made an appearance once to unhook my IV. Never came to empty the hat I had to pee in. Never came in when my IV drip stopped working. They received a confirmation fax from John Brook's at 11:11 am for my methadone prescription. It's now 3 pm and they hadn't given me my dose still. When I first asked the nurse practitioner about it (1 pm) she had denied they had even gotten a confirmation fax. She also said I needed to be seen by THEIR OB/GYN first, before getting my methadone. (It needed to be okay'ed by an OB/GYN to take it. Even though I receive it every day at JB with no problem) They were literally withholding my methadone from me (10 weeks pregnant) until I saw their urologist and OB/GYN. And then the nurse practitioner had the nerve to tell me that by leaving it meant the "death of my baby" ironic. Even if I don't feel any withdrawal symptoms, the baby does. Without my daily dose the baby will die from withdrawal. But they obviously didn't care about that. They just wanted to get as much money as possible from my insurance company. When I wanted to leave the nurse practitioner wouldn't allow me to be discharged (I needed the paperwork for my OB/GYN, urologist and John Brook's). After leaving I went to Shore hospital. They had no problem giving me antibiotics, actually found ANOTHER kidney stone in an ultrasound, gave me my dose of methadone before even getting confirmation back from John Brook's (I assume they drug tested my urine to confirm I wasn't lying), and consulted a urologist about my kidney swelling and the stone. They did more in the 3 hours I was there, than this joke of a hospital could do in over 20 hours.

My 2 year old daughter had a bad fall and split her forehead open a few months ago. I took her to AtlantiCare ER and waited 2 1/2 hours with my daughter bleeding from the head. I kept having to get up to ask for more paper towels to absorb the blood. Meanwhile adults with the sniffles were being seen before us. Once we were finally called back, the doctor was wonderful and took care of my daughter, which is the only reason I am giving two stars. The wait time and lack of attention to an actively bleeding toddler was not acceptable.

My mother-in-law was staying at the hospital overnight. My wife said she was there and witnessed my mother-in-law shower had 3 pee pans stacked in shower with urine in them. My wife took photos to show the nurses the urine and instead of someone coming to assist. They called security because she took a photo. Smh

This is the worst hospital. No one should ever go there for anything. They are nasty and rude. My father was admitted there and they had his wallet, cell phone, and insurance information yet they never bothered to call my mom or any family members. We keep receiving bills but we don't even know if they actually performed any of the services they keep billing us for. They just are after the money.

P C

Absolutely unacceptable!! Sent to ER by PCP to rule out a stroke or impending stroke because my BP is 212/107..... Waiting over 2.5 hrs!! Meanwhile ppl with aches chills & fever are called back first. NO TRIAGE here it's like a deli counter, take a number & simply be called in order!! I don't care how busy it is A possible stroke shouldn't wait 5 minutes!!! Hire more Drs & nurses in the ED!!!!

Abdullah Noory

The nurses are lazy as hell. I understand you have patience to take care of, but if my machines are beeping for 40 minutes and the staff keeps saying "we'll let your nurse know," does it really take that long? In the ER, I ask for a cup of water, they "let the nurse know" and she was never asked. A cup of water was received after 30 minutes after I called in for someone else. In the personal room, machine beeping for an hour, no response. Also gave me wrong food tray. Luckily I read the name or else it could have been bad affect. Technicians are great and so are the doctors. But most of the nurses just want to run the clock down and don't want to help. Only good nurse was Richie on floor 3, who actually helped and was honest.

I came to Hospital last night and after waiting 7 hours in the emergency area I went home. I didn’t even made it to the nurse. My pain got worse and I been here six hours and still haven’t seen the nurse. There is an elderly woman that felt and broke her wrist and she is been waiting for over seven hours. I don’t know if am going to be seeing today. Very poor service, they just don’t care about people. Am I such much pain

Went for a CT scan & meet the kindest nurse, Roseanne, who made my entire experience a wonderful visit. Really? I can't even believe I just said that, but she absolutely turned that visit around for me. (And I told her so) Extremely kind, caring & compassionate. I wish I had written sooner, but I haven't forgotten her kindness. Roseanne is an asset to ACRMC & I hope she is recognized and praised for her personal qualities that she emits to her patients. Thank You, Patricia Talarico

Only given 1 star it was 3 hour wait in the ER the staff are slow. Hospital needs an over haul, its out dated, the ER is small. Then finally get in the back and have to wait to be seen and wait, and wait, and wait. Floors are not clean. Not enough rooms people being seen in the hallway. Slow with doctors, slow getting tests done. I thought Southern Ocean Medical Center was bad.

Service is good all new everything I think they may have spent more building this place rather than training personel less money on expensive finishs for buildings and more money for health care

This is an atrocious place. Unless you got something like a cold. Maybe they can handle that. Heart surgery for me they flubbed. I wound up going to a real hospital up the road. This area doesn't have the real trained professionals. You have to head north or over the bridge. Lady of Lourdes took care of me. That's the best place for heart problem . Lesson learned.

Let me start by saying that my sister recently passed away at this hospital. They need to tell there staff members to listen to family when they say they do not want discussed in the patience room how sick they are they truly mean it. I recently had a nurse in the ICU say to me "do I like seeing my sister suffer the way she is" I thought I was hearing things and my sister laid there very aware of what was going on. This hospital lacks compassion. My cousin knew how upset I was and reported to the head nurse Liz who only defended the nurse. Other then a couple intern doctors from the ICU and a few good nurses are the only ones to show any compassion. My sister was in that hospital for over 7 weeks in the ICU and it was the worse experience of my life!

One thing I can say is I’ll never see another doctor again in this area ! Atlantic care is a bunch of hacks. I rather drive up to philly and chance giving birth on the side of the road then letting these people have a chance at touching me again. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Your midwives are stupid and I vowed to not let one of these uneducated woman touch me but I thought I was just being anxious and overly pregnant and in pain so I trusted the process but oh was I wrong ! I was flopped around on a table like a fish going through a vaginal birth that put my baby in distress, NEXT I’m rushed into a c-section to save my child but one dumb nurse or midwife whoever if was shoved the catheter in me during the middle of a contraction causing me to scream so loud practically the whole floor heard me and the doctor comes running in and I finally get drugs to numb me because this woman had NO IDEA WHAT SHE WAS DOING. Next into the c-section my baby is out and I come to find out she could’ve been breached because she has an issue with her hips what I learned about from the very nice NICU doctor. The pain you’ve caused a pregnant woman during her labor, a rushed c-section, complications with my child, and now I’m back in the hospital for an infection that sounds like some sketchy malpractice on your part ?? And let’s not forgot you guys are REAL Percocet pushers. You people are the problem. I will never come back to you, I will never give you my time , I will be seeing Dr.Bergen to make sure this infection is out of me and I want some answers about what’s going on with MY body and what happened the day of delivery. Because I have not been given any answers and I want my next appointment set up with the DOCTOR.. not a nurse , and DEFINITELY not your rude, uneducated midwives. These midwives are obviously not trained enough or do not know enough to be in a room delivering a baby without a doctor present ! Why are their not more doctors on call? Why did I not have my doctor in the room while I was pushing ? Where was Dr. Bergen? Why was I not told by my DOCTOR what was going on and that a c section needed to take place. I have not been seen or spoken to by a doctor once since coming to APG. I get a glimpse of Dr. Bergen as he rips my kid out of me and then leaves the room. I was never spoken too and never told about anything that happened during my surgery. I want answers and I want them now... not just a packeted synopsis of my stay. Now let’s me get started on the Atlantic care pavilion OBGYN. First of all your desk staff is rude as all get out. Still waiting for my paper work for my disability or even a confirmation that is was done or if they updated the date I went into labor being that it was 3 weeks early. Next, why the hell every time I was being see for a visit I only saw a god damn midwife ? I want a DOCTOR. I was swelling like a wood tick and was told I didn’t have preeclampsia or diabetes. But every time a midwife would see me I would ask for much larger testing for preeclampsia and was told it was not need... really ??? Just walking around I looked like your poster candidate for preeclampsia. Makes sense on going into labor 3 weeks early. This is the most unprofessional staff. Like where are the doctors through any of this ? You hacked my body up.. giving me an infection that I was in the emergency room for last night. You hacked my kid up. Now I’m not happy. And I want answers... I want a damn response from an office and preferably I would like to speak with Dr. Bergen. Because for one. I didn’t even know he was my damn doctor. I was told it was dr. Milov. I never met anyone. You best believe all the people who I know who you are seeing at your office are switching doctors and are terrified to give birth at this establishment. I rather drive Up to Jefferson hospital in Philly and chance the fact of giving birth on the side of the road to a nice state trooper then letting ANY OF YOU PEOPLE TOUCH ME EVER AGAIN.

Agree that there are tight quarters in ER and waiting times to be seen but I was dealt excellent service from triage to the room I was sent to for pneumonia. Was given around the clock care by very competent PCA's,RN's and Physicians. Left the hospital feeling better and was given good aftercare instructions!

My dad had a massive heart attack this morning & if it weren't for the o.r. Team and the amazing surgeon & the awesome paramedics and ems squad who brought him back not once but twice on the way to the hospital he wouldn't be here with us today. I would never want to lose my daddy but 59 years old I want him around another 30-40 yrs until he's 89 or 99 yrs old. I'm so grateful for this hospital and staff.

I have been in 4 different hospitals in my life 2 in NJ 2 in Florida. This is the cleanest and most modern hospital I have been in. All of the staff were exellent. I received the best care. Keep it up, thank you.

Horrific ER. Whenever patients have to leave to get care at another facility there is a problem. By reading the reviews it seems many have had abysmal experiences in this DR. Management should be interested in the patients and what they think. Until someone takes the patients point of view and delves into corrective actions there will be no positive reviews.

Sherree

I have never seen a stethoscope on either a nurse nor doctor.....never see anyone in the hallways nor doing their job, what type of facility is this? I know every time I visit my father I leave sick, staph infections run rampant in here.....horrible help and facility!

I am a 51-yr old Chemical Engineer who recently had a TKR (Total Knee Replacement) surgery at AtlantiCare Mainland Campus. I personally had a great experience at AtlantiCare from the moment I walked in for my surgery right up to my discharge the following day. The facility is very clean and the staff were top notch. All of the nurses and doctors were very professional and quite accommodating. I spent the night of my surgery in my own room and had no less than four caregivers check on me periodically through the evening, checking on my pain level and administering my medications. My nurse Tita was a sweetheart and I am very thankful for the 5-star care given to me throughout my stay. To all the AtlantiCare staff, thank you and keep up the good work.

Had Back surgery here which the care I received was exceptional, but today I had to come in to the emergency department per my doctor due to issues following my surgery where I'm in severe pain with pressure in my back with the feeling that I have things moving in my back with big bubbles. The triage nurse was horribl, unsympathetic and extremely rude. I was told as soon as a room came open I would be right back and she ended up bringing some else back that could walk. I'm unable to walk and cant sit due to my pain, pressure in my back a d the bubbles and movement I feel back there. The emergency staff and triage nurse here tonight are horrible. Worst emergency room that exists I am unable sit and walk, and people who have not had surgery and can walk and have minor viruses etc are being brought back before me. One even came in after me and was walking fine. Dont go here if you can help it. Going to be speaking to my lawyer about the poor unethical treatment I am receiving. Triage nurse needs to be replaced by a more professional and respectful one. They nees to prioritize how they bring the patients back by the severity of their condition and whether they have had surgery or not. Anyone who comes in who has had surgery recently should be brought right back due to complications from their surgery that could be stat for treatment. Horrible experience. You can even hear them talking badly about the patients which is very unethical, a violation of the patient's HIPAA. This emergency room has some serious issues.

Bernadette Hisel

My dad was admitted on Oct 9th for ten days. I cant say enough good things about all the staff (cna’s, nurses, social workers, housecleaning, dietary, x-ray, doctor’s) etc as they went above and beyond in caring for my dad. Thank you so much! Your professionalism, expertise and compassion was so appreciated! The Tingle family!

k's beautiful

I took a visit to the hospital because I was having chest pains, shortness of breath, pains going down my arm. I was sitting in the waiting room for about 5-10 mins then the nurse came for me to do a EKG which was not of concern because nothing was seen thank god! I wasn't offered a chair or anything I had to keep getting up and walking which at that time sucked because I wasn't feeling very good and a little faint but not so bad that I couldn't walk. I was able to walk but was supprised they did not even ask me if I could walk or do I want a chair. So after the EKG then sent me to the other nurse for questions. I at that time was very uncomfortable and the nurse asking me question made me more uncomfortable because my responses weren't what she likes or could understand. So I took a breath tried to stay calm as she made me more frustrated with her smart response to something I answered. I will say she did see I was getting upset and she did turn around and make it better but when people are sick you should do everything you can to keep them calm especially when they where just asked all these same questions a second before. So she says I'm going to sit you back in the waiting room if you see people go before its because we saw something on their chart that was more serious she also said EKG .. I was like ok which made me more unsettled because I understand how it works and by her saying that made me feel more uneasy. I will say from what I seen its very unorganized. Also they said to help me speed up the process they'll start blood work and other testing. I first got blood work then an ex ray of my chest .. I walked the whole time and I was never taken into a room I was treated and released in the waiting room. I was so uncomfortable with how dirty that place is. I was scared I would get more sick just being in their because it was so so filthy. You can smell the filth. I am very disappointed but, not surprised. The Atlantic city campus is way better and that's where I should have went but lesson learned .. I was scared to us their bathroom it was so dirty. I should have took pictures but when you're sick who has time for that ? Not me ... People who have been here know what I'm saying. I hope they get it together. I won't know because ill never go there unless I have to. I hope they work on it

Thus far no complaints. I've had a hip replacement done by Dr Ong at this facility and was treated and cared for by caring, qualified professionals.I owe each staff member a debt of gratitude.

The worst of the worst, 4 hours, only to be pushed out of my room, into a reclining chair. Here for back pain by the way. Should have just drove to Vineland or Woodbury!!

David Panara

If you read the reviews and the same response from the Medical Center for each situation, this tells the story. If you have anything other than something minor, consider selecting a Philadelphia hospital. Yes, they are 30 minutes away, yes it is inconvenient, remember it is your life or the life of a loved one. Your choice.

Aubrey Alves

Very good atmosphere, even after I was discharged they found a way to accommodate me after I had been put under anaesthesia, and doctor and nurses were very helpful with anything I asked

Sara Wasserman

This was literally the worst experience. I went in for severe upper back pain and nobody once cared how severe my pain was. Never even got taken to an exam room, literally was treated from a waiting area. No exam whatsoever. The nurse practitioner listened to my lungs, took a urine sample and that was it. Prescribed 2 different medicines and sent me home. I'm not sure it was her fault, although she was extremely rude and very short with me, never even tried to explain what could be causing my pain. But it's probably just how they're taught to get people in and out as cheaply as possible. It's a shame but I will never go back there again.

I can't believe that I been waiting for 3hrs and a half for my mom to be seen, every one seems to be moving slow, it makes me go back to school and be a nurse or a doctor. What's the wait? People been here for more than 5hrs. My mom has chest pain n a huge headache n her body felt weak and right eye was lower than normal. I can't believe what's going on people, shore memorial would of been the best choice.

Never again will I ever come here.... I was admitted into the hospital. When you're admitted aren't you supposed to have your own room so you can have your bathroom and privacy? I got a room with someone next to me. She's hearing all my information and vice versa. Isn't that not allowed because of hippa? I can't even rest properly and I'm pretty sure she can't either. If the nurses and doctors aren't coming in for me they are coming in for her. So annoying! Oh and two beds with just one bathroom! So not comfortable or sanitary. Throw the whole hospital away.

rita seese

After knowing I have severe back pain and can't really sit long, I'm sitting on the waiting room over two hours with no updates. Sorry but now back is worse than when I came in. Need to leave so I can go lay down. Instead of 2 hours of sleep tonight may only get 1 with with a handful of pills. Thank you so much for the care of your patients who are in pain and suffering

Went to emergency room at 6pm on a Friday night with chest pains. Did not get admitted until 1230 am. Had to stay until I saw a cardiologist which occurred around 1230 PM on Saturday. Was told all test were good, but I could not leave until I had a stress test which could not be administered on Saturday because they did not have enough liquid? On hand...REALLY???

Avoid this hospital at all cost. I have been to third world countries with cleaner facilities, more professional staff, educated/caring nurses and doctors that are not in a daze. If I was affiliated with this hospital in anyway I would look for some means to fix their issues. I seriously doubted if the nursing staff were actually nurses or just people they pulled from the streets and paid minimum wage to pretend they were nurses. I could continue but just want to warn others if you want patient care go to another hospital or if you have to go to this ER get a second opinion. I am seriously thinking about taking legal actions against the ER staff for how we were treated. My dog gets better care at the vet. The administration should be ashamed that they allow this to continue.

I've been a patient of Shore Medical Center for years. Care was always great. Staff is great. Never problems with them. Last year August 2015 I had to have an angioplasty with three stents. Shore couldn't perform the surgery so they transferred me to ARMC.. my experience there was less than satisfactory. The surgery went well as my doctors group did it. Nursing care was lacking. I don't usually ask for much when I'm in the hospital but here if I asked for something I got it hours later or not at all. I understand nurses are busy but keep a notebook so you don't forget a patient. When I was released the hospital sent a report to my doctor. The report was incorrect. It didn't account for the three stents and contradicted itself on different pages. Thankfully my doctor caught it. If that isn't enough 14 months later I get a letter from a collection agency telling me I owe $1260.00. I had no idea I owed anything to them. Never received a bill, a past due notice, a phone call....nothing. I called the hospital billing dept and spoke to someone about it. I was told that there was a portion of the bill that my secondary insurance company didn't cover. I asked how many bills they sent me. They said a couple. I received none. I asked if they contacted the insurance and they told me they did and no one would get back to them. So I called the insurance company and it was resolved in less than 5 minutes. Of course the hospital was paid the full amount and the check was cashed by the hospital. They provided me with the check number and date it was cashed. What they said about the insurance company not responding to them, I completed in 5 minutes. After all of this I don't believe they ever sent me any bills and like everything else, they are just sloppy. I'm still waiting for the lady I spoke to to call me back so I can explain this to her. Shore Medical Center has it all over this place. My call was returned a few hours later and Oh! guess what? They found the check! It took them 14 months and a call to a collection agency to do what I did in 5 minutes. They cleared my account. Why couldn't they find the check 14 months ago? Sloppy.

This place is horrible! It’s dirty, they are inconsiderate. Place makes you feel like your in Ancora and the wait times are 4+ hours without even being in a room, nobody comes to check on the patients. What’s the point of having an emergency room?

Mike

More than 2 hours waiting... Ridiculous

i broke my ankle, and i was born at this hospital so i most definitely trust this place! i recently went inside because my splint / cast was a little too tight and they were to my service in no time! it took only about 3 minutes so it was as easy as 123! thank you

Slowest emergency room ever over 3 hours and still have not been into see a Dr. Several people complaining about being here for 4 hours or more and still not been seen. Rediculous stay away

Paula Weigl

My husband has been in this hospital many times and always got the best of care. The hospialists are top notch. We can not say enough about the nurse staff..they are friendly, knowledgeable, caring, answers all your questions and make you feel like your part of the team. The emergency room is a long wait but you can see they are trying their best. The doctors are very good in the ER..they do the testing necessary for your illness to make the proper diagnosis. They talk to other doctors and look up your history, what more could we ask. When leaving the hospital they give you all your information and test results for your primary doctor. List of all medication and how to take it. The next day someone calls from the hospital to see if everything is okay. At that time you can clarify any question you have. Great experience. We have been in Philadelphia and in other hospitals and this is our first choice.

Always a 2+ hour wait. No one keeps you informed or updated. They just run tests then place you back in waiting room for another 2+ hours with no results. May go hours without even seeing a doctor. Poorly run hospital. I highly recommend going anywhere but here.

My father was discharged from this hospital tonight after being there for a week. First of all, there is such a disconnect in communication because the left- handers don't know what the right-handers are doing the majority of the time and when you, as a concerned family member need answers, you are confronted with a nurse who seems annoyed by all your questions. Ughhh!! That is so frustrating!!!! In fairness to the people who actually like what they do, THANK YOU!!! My advice?? Pick a new employer; one with a better reputation. However, the main reason for this review is because prior to my dad being discharged, certain steps needed to be taken. Among those steps, included setting up oxygen at home since he had the unpleasant parting gift of an oxygen tank. NOBODY DID THAT AND HIS TANK RAN OUT AT 10:30PM... 4 HOURS AFTER BEING DISCHARGED!!!!! It took me 2 1/2 hours to rectify the situation. Me!! Not the charge nurse I called at 11pm in a panic. She told me to call the number on the tank and if I had a problem, to call her back. Ummmm... your nurses (or someone, in all fairness) dropped the ball, how about the hospital make it right?!?!?! I didn't have time to argue, I needed to help my dad, so I fixed it!!! I have ALWAYS hated this hospital, but it's where my dad wanted to go. Not anymore. No more Jersey hospitals. I'm going to Philly. They are just lucky I didn't need to call 911 or the next call would have been my attorney. And, yes... I called the appropriate for customer care (before the automatic reply gets posted thanking me for my feedback).

Dr. Salartash removed my mother's gallbladder quickly and as painlessly as possible and the RN who cared for her overnight had gone thru the procedure herself - and was an immense help.

Thee worst hospital to go to. You will die in the waiting room and it’s not much difference once you’re seen. Go anywhere but here.

My father went into the emergency room peeing dark blood and blood clots and severely anemic. He was admitted and stayed for 7 days. He laid there with a catheter crying in pain trying to pass blood clots through the tube (No pain meds were ever offered or given) he laid there on a CBI irrigation for 7 days. Dr.'s and staff lied to us stating they did not know why he was bleeding but felt safe to say that the irrigation will stop the bleeding and he can follow up with a doctor after his release. for 7 days my father never ate. He lost a lot of weight. this was because everyday the staff would say 'you cannot eat because you are having a cystoscopy on your bladder. Each day kept being moved because "the operating room was full" or the Dr. was busy. Day 6 my father had the cystoscopy and colonoscopy done by Dr. Perry of Jersey Urology Group, she had been doing surgeries since 6am and she got to my father around 9, which I thought was an awful idea because she had been working ALL DAY and I felt something would be missed and boy was I right. My father was stage 4 Bladder Cancer, prostate cancer, and cancer all through his pelvic nodes. ACMC never told us, Dr. Perry never told us. She clearly saw my father had cancer and no one told him, instead he was told he had a small cyst and would have to stay on CBI irrigation for another day and the bleeding should stop and he can follow up with a Dr. and as soon as his blood turned from dark red to champagne colored he was thrown out. 4 days later we followed up with Jersey Urology ACMC's affiliate where another Dr. who was unaware we didn't know it was cancer, blurted it out conversation causing my dad to collapse. They attempted to scrap out a stage 4 tumor, these are the Doctor's ACMC partners with....Yes. they didn't even know he had prostate cancer! We took our services to MD Anderson. Our lives will never be the same. Don't bring your loved ones here. They lie, waste your time, and energy then charge medicare over $96,000 for nothing. They did my father dirty. I absolutely despise this hospital! Who are they paying to keep them out of the papers? Please listen to me, this is no joke we are hurting over this. Stay away from this hospital.

Sitting in the lobby for 5 hours with a friend with a concussion. 3 other people were in the office who were all called back before he was sent back. You doctor's get paid so much money to work so slow!

Some of the staff here are pretty rude, especially the ladies that work the front desk where you get your visitor’s pass

Worst Hospital ever ! Waited 7 hours just to be seen and when finally seen was not taking seriously and they MISDIGNOSED ME. When I question their diagnosis they said you are discharged.. and didn’t want to help me any further. Next day I went to the Atlantic City location where I finally got the help that I needed. They do not care for the patients in the emergency room. One lady who was seated next to me looked to be in great pain, she waiting for about 5 hours and said she couldn’t wait any longer and was leaving.. the front desk lady didn’t even ask if she was ok to leave. Just said “okay” in a biter voice. With my 7 hours in the waiting room I learned a lot about the front desk ladies. Call after call they were simply rude to the people on the phone. Never again will I go to this Hospital willingly.

We are new to this area.and I needed shoulder surgery. It was done on April 12, 2016. I chose this hospital after getting such high reviews from friends and family . In my opinion all my friends and family were right. I've been in hospitals before for knee surgeries and other matters, but I've never gotten the care and professionalism that was offered here. right from the start the procedure, done by a doctor from Rothman Institute, was explained completely. I met the anesthesiologist before surgery and he went over everything with me. afterwards I was in a room on the second floor and the nurses were the best. You would think that being in a room ,pretty much at the end of the hall, I'd be waiting forever when I hit the call button. NOT SO. I think the longest I had to wait was maybe 3 minutes. That is fantastic. Each nurse and aid was so considerate, it was like being taken care of by friends. GREAT HOSPITAL AND WONDERFUL STAFF.

My mother was taken to this hospital after police came and recommended she be taken to the hospital because she was delusional and physically was not safe. She was threatening to kill my father and was throwing things at him and the full time aide that we had there at their home. We asked the hospital to do an evaluation on my mother to be able to get her the care she needed. The hospital said they could not do an evaluation because she had an outside of the facility doctor and she was sent home to unsafe environment. She is need of 24 7 care and we are trying to get her into a nursing home. The aide at home said she was out of control and physically abusive and the hospital still sent her home. We got an appt with the doctor that she has and all he said was that he felt bad that all of the nursing homes in the area had waiting lists. That doctor was the one that we asked what should we do if she gets out of control and he said to call 911. That is what my father did and nothing was able to be done for them.
