Wonderful staff, although the lobby area is sort of like the bar scenes from the original Star Wars! LOL. The patients all wait in the lobby and wait to be called in. Given that it is a cancer center, there are people there in various stages of treatments. But the staff is top scale, test results are almost instantaneous - as opposed to weeks in a typical GP environment. The portal that is available to all patients is fantastic and updated quickly. National ratings for MSK are near top in the country.

I was treated at this facility successfully and became cancer free in 4 months. The doctors, nurses and staff are top notch. During my treatments if I needed to talk to a doctor after hours a call back was within 5 min. The facility is spotless and MSK is a pioneer in their field. To those who complain about the wait times and give negative feedback should realize this is only a minor inconvenience and what else would you give to save your life? You are going to one of the top cancer centers in the country so of course there is a wait time and keep in mind people can ask many questions. The doctors answer and explain information thoroughly instead of rushing you out of the office visit. It's part of being cared for. Thank you MSK for all you have done for me!

MSK is the best of best. My mom's care team are very nice and knowledgeable. They are patient to answer all questions. I saw some people complain the waiting time, but we never have problem with that in Harrison location. We also been in Manhattan locations couple time, their waiting time a little long, but still acceptable. During waiting time, patients and their families are still be taken care of, they offer coffee and snacks, very nice and friendly environment. Nothing complaint in MSK. Really appreciate their effort to save my mom's life!

Every time we have an appointment to see the doctor after a scan, we wait 2to 3 hours before we are even brought in the back and another half before seeing the doc. And they have the nerve to ask you to arrive a half hour early. Today we had a 1:30 appointment. Arrived at 1:00. Still in the waiting room. Ask how long a back up in the beginning. Was told half hour.

I have to say in regards to treatment one of the best. I was cancer free in three months time. However Sloan really needs to work at scheduling more effectively. Every single appointment takes 2-3 hours prior to being seen. This is just not right for patients. I hope enough of us complain about this issue and that Sloan recognizes this is where they need to improve.

I am very unhappy with the waiting period every time when I took my dad here.. they really do not have any respect to the patients who is waiting to see doctor or just for nursing visit... they made us wait for more that 2 hours..for 10 am appointment they called us to the consulting room by 10.30..after that we haven't seen anyone for more than 1 hour. Whenever we asked they are like 'someone will be in soon'. I feel like they forget about the patients after they come into the consulting room..very bad customer services..
