Should be considered a clinic not a hospital. When you make an appointment there is always a month or two before they can get you in. It doesn't have and emergency room. You have to travel way out in town if there is an emergency which is at least 10-15 miles away. Lets just say they need lots of work on this base. I hope the right person comes along and makes some much needed changes.

I was seen today. Very efficient and thorough. It isn't a hospital rather more of a clinic. I found everyone to be very helpful and I was able to ask questions and was not rushed.

Though I have, thankfully, not required extensive services, all of my basic needs have been met for physicals, well-woman exams, basic labs for physicals, x-rays, ultrasounds and mammograms. Most pharmacy needs have been met with the exception of them not carrying mesalamine, or an equivalent, which is a common medication for symptoms associated with ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. An MRI requirement had to be outsourced to a facility in Visalia, which was fine. All staff, military and civilian, were polite, professional and very supportive.

It's not a hospital with like an ER. The urgent care did just re-open though. It really depends on who you get for a nurse/MA and a Dr. for what kind of experience you're going to have. I've really learned you have to patient advocate for yourself with some Dr's and nurses more than others. Sometimes though, the corpsman who schedules you, cant even make an appointment to be seen because their system doesn't go out past a month (what I was told), or the next appointment is 2-3 weeks out. So you really utilize the urgent care and ER around here when you're sick and need to be seen ASAP. I've always had a good experience with the staff at the laboratory. Knock on wood that, that does not change.

I wish I could rate this .5 star.. I come to pick up my prescription, but I end up waiting for about 1 hr 30 mins just to be told I cant be helped.. I called prior and they told me to come in. People just don’t know how to do their job. And if I miss a appointment of mine I get in trouble? Y’all are hilarious! Just wasted my time.

Pharmacy is inefficient! Waited for more than an hour for medicine and when I go to counter and asked for it, the lady said she called me about an hour ago and I didn't show up! Seriously? I was there sitting all the time staring at that tv and listening but didn't see or hear my number called and she has the nerve to tell me be mindful next time! I even have my sister with me and said, it was never called.

Let just start by saying I live 2 hours away but I travel so I can go to a clean safe environment. I was about to stop going there because of the care. Yesterday I had a colonoscopy. That was the best care the team made it so fun. Thank you surgical for colostomy August 16th for Elizabeth!!! You guys rock!!!!
