The doctors here in the ER are a complete joke! Go in for something that you have no idea what to do except go to them and all they do is treat you like an addict. Try not judging a book by its cover. Also as far as the "hypocritic oath" goes, that is a joke too. It is always that way just 99% of people are to naive to realize it!

For 2 weeks I spent my days with my boyfriend who was a patient there. Everyone there was amazing, caring, and were all very nice. The facility is clean and very nice ! I highly recommended it to anyone.

It say free valet service but it’s not true you are expected to give them a tip. I would like to say not all but most. My very bad experience today was that I needed to go to the lab in a wheelchair so I used valet everything went well until I came back to the valet stand and. gave my ticket to Grant he took it and went to get my car He had been gone a long time and I was wondering where my car was. I asked a valet man that was standing there if he seen my white SUV out there. He said there was a white car with a man in it. So I waited longer Then my friend came by and I ask her to wheel me out and I say my SUV running and Grant taking off in the van that I thought was for picking up patients but instead it for taking valet personal to the cars. He didn’t evening come in to the pavilion to let me know my car was back and help me to the car because I was in a wheelchair I worked at GSH for 38years and I think we supply great care but.i am so much ashamed of the valet department.

The lady at the desk at the health pavilion was rude to us. I needed a wheel chair for my mom because she is on oxygen and cant walk well. We we were told we cant have a wheel chair in the waiting room. I tried to explain that to the lady. She pretty much called me lier and took The wheel chair. Doctor ashworth is the doctor who did my sister's lung biopsy and was rude and yelled at us because my mom was joking and said lets get this started to the staff up at counter. I tried to explain to ashworth that my mom isnt memtally all the way there. My mom probably thought she was at work. She worked at good sam for a long time years ago. Ashworth wouldn't listen and was refusing to do my sister's surgery at first and said we can go some where else. I was trying to explain to the doctor my mom isn't mentally all they there do to her oxygen level and jokes a lot like a child. My mom was not mean in anyway saying it. I will not be back or my family. I will let everyone know how doctors and staff treat family members and patients. I've posted it all over the net. The nurse did come back and talk to me and apologize for the doctors behavior. It wasn't even the nurses fault. Ashworth didn't even once apologize.

I would rather drive 6 hours away an take my chance of dying on the way to a different hospital then have to do anything serious or even small for that matter at this hospital. Its basically a place for you to go to waste your money an get no answers or help with any questions or concerns you may have. They never run your insurance card leaving you with a huge bill you have to call the hospital an get transferred 50 times before u can talk to someone about the bill only for them to tell you theres nothing they can do for not running your insurance card (which is there job). It took them over 20 minutes to try an put an iv in my 3 month old while she screamed bloody murder getting held down by 4 nurses who couldnt even get an iv started...it was so bad that they had to literally get a staff member from a surgery to do the iv not to mention i had to call for the staff to do anything after staying there for 3 nights...it was a total joke an worst experience ive ever had dealing with something so serious an in this profession to just not care at all about there patients.. I will never EVER take my child there again...its a joke. An i truly feel sorry for the patients here an everyone who is getting scammed by them. They are not even worth 1 star.

Wouldn't go anywhere else. Staff always careing and friendly. Husband has multiple heath problems, always have given him excellent care. Made our stays a excellent experience. God Bless the doctors and staff.

I think your customer service is very bad. I called several times to be connected to Pulmonary therapy, in the basement. Each time I was connected to different departments, automatic message. The person who answers the phone is very rude..

The dedicated staff facilitated a nearly miraculous recovery for my 89 year old mother-n-law. This place is spotlessly clean and beautiful. The Physical Therapists are knowledgeable and kind and the directing physician Dr. Kaisler-Meza's professionalism and attentiveness exceeds all expectation.

I would give it zero stars if i could. ER dr laughed at my 20 month old sons medical issue . His intestines were coming out in his diaper and he was getting a fever and the dr was arrogant and refused to do any further testing and basically said he wasn't serious enough for him to look at and it was wasting his time, the only reason the dr even came out to talk to us was because we thru a fit wanting answers . Untill then only a P.A. would apeak to us. We couldn't even be seen by a real Dr. They refused to give us the answers to the few test results that they did . So help me god if he gets sepsis their will be hell to pay . But of course they will care about as much as their Dr. Did earlier today . GOOD SAM YOU CAN ONLY HIDE BEHIND YOUR MONEY SO LONG.

Poor place to call a hospital my husband had surgery on monday may 7 th and he came home wed 9 th . They never changed his bed sheets they never cleaned his room they never gave him a bath . my son cleaned under the couch and there was so much dust and dirt under it . I had to change out the trash my self becouse it was running over. Then make matters worse the radiology department didn't put the tube in right spot so now my husband has to go to Indy. To have surgery all over again

The nurses are rude, but on the other hand the doctors are sweet and help the best they can. I don't trust good Sam because they show little care ship about their patients, and I was waiting for over two hours in the waiting room to get a bed because apparently if a young woman walks in there and says she feels she's having a miscarriage and looks as if she's been crying for hours, didn't know that meant it was okay to make her wait in a chair for 2+ hours. Good job

This has been my hospital for over 20 years and had excellent care in spite of 1 or 2 aides thru the years not doing their job. Plus, if you get admitted from Er between meals, the cafeteria gets in no hurry to send a mail up when the nurse requests it. I fully trust their ER care 100%.

To be 100% honest, not the worst place I've been to. If you weren't eating the food they let your family bring you food, family was allowed to visit in rooms, a lot of the staff and patients were really nice. BUT This whole place was just ridiculous, I was held on a 51/50 for next to nothing. With the doctor basically agreeing with me that meds aren't the best option for me. The social worker, Rachel was ridiculous. You could very clearly tell she prioritized private health care patients above medical. Her whole demeanor on me completely changed as soon as she found out I had private health care. She seemed completely dumbfounded when to get discharged i was required to set up an appointment and i specifically requested therapy vs psychiatry and she basically tried to talk me into psychiatry. AND when I was discharged I looked up the therapist i was assigned who was a child and family therapist. Im not a child nor do I need family therapy. She didn't seem sure she could find me a therapist let alone knew of one so i honestly think she picked the first one under my insurance. I had also over heard nurses saying that the patients with private health care are kept longer to milk their insurance. The doctor didn't even see me to tell me I was being discharge. I found out from my nurse who asked me if id rather go home asap or in the morning apparently the doctor wanted me to leave in the morning and the nurse had fought for me to get me the choice saying i was young and probably didn't care if i left at 11pm and she was right. One of the patients wasn't even told she was being discharged she found out through her parents. And I believe it was the head nurse that night Christine I think (the one with long hair. I had to get a doctors note for work so they wanted me to talk to a specific nurse (her) before I left. I walked up to her asked for a note and after she writes it she comes up to me directly not through the window with my finance right next to me and very rudely tells me "Your making a mistake, you should stay here." Im sorry, Im making a mistake for leaving when the doctor has signed my forms to let me leave? First of she had never even said a single word to me as was not my designated nurse. I don't know if she was trying to get me to scream at her or what but I've heard her say things like that to other patience one of the patients who you could tell was doing incredibly well for what he was in for she told him (again, rudely) "Only 5% of addicts actually recover" as if to say "we'll see you here again" I don't think this nurse should be working in the mental health field if she's just going to stick her two sense into everyones situation without even talking to them first. I'm concerned this nurse is going to set some poor soul over the edge one day.

Great resource for the area, which lacks many basic services. My personal experience was with the orthopedic Dr. Miller, and I have nothing but praise for his work and the entire staff within the orthopedic office. Very friendly and effective. Visits, even with minor imaging, never took more than an hour. Recommend.

Worst experience I've ever had in ER dept, was in so much pain, nurse ask me if I drink enough water I said probably not, I had already been to quick care few days early but it became worse in pain, ER nurse was rude, never seen a DR. Only a P.A. guess they think everyone is a drug seeker, pain on entering was above a 10, leaving still in pain as 9, b/p was elevated no one worried about that either, sent bill to old insurance, gave me 4 shots & left with a script for steroids, ( only because that's what they had given me before at the quick care.) 2hrs for nothing. Have seen a Real Dr. In Evansville, I had 4 blown disc in my neck & back. So yes I suffered with extreme pain. So hopefully one day these youngsters working in ER may have some suffering them selfs or mothers. And yes that was Over $ 3000 to be treated like a drug seeker, out of pocket. I'm sure drugs on the street is much cheaper then this. Worked almost all my life in the health field, what a disgrace!

I had alot of trouble breathing and because I'm on medicade that Dr told me I wasn't even supposed to be there. I went home still having a hard time to breath. I've heard nothing but bad things about that hospital. I had very high blood pressure and they sent me home. I know my Dr in Florida would of never sent me home with it being that high. Medical care here is terrible very terrible ☹️

This is the worst hospital around, treats patients like dogs.. CEO never around. Don't take my word for it if someone from administration put a hat and regular clothes on and just sit in the waiting room of the ER and hear the actual people you are supposed to help be treated like, not even human and maybe you'll see why you have a 3.2 rating.. this is unacceptable.

I had a horrible experience with their Physical therapy. They only took about 2 minutes to evaluate me and then handed me a piece of paper, made me do the stretches, on my own, while she sat in a chair and then sent me home. This half hour, worthless, unhelpful visit is costing me $500 out of my pocket.

I spent 4 weeks in this program. The people are amazing, caring, and well meaning. The facility is clean and well cared for. I had issue only 1 time with one instructional therapist, after she had a bad morning in traffic. Everyone else was outstanding! I highly recommended it.

The Rehab department was amazing! My mother came after back fusion surgery and had a great and competent experience. I would highly recommend this unit and all staff, from therapists to nurses to aids. We are thankful to have such a facility in Vincennes.

The ICU staff especially the nurses Drew and Susan were really really really really great my daddy got admitted in the ICU last Thursday he was on a ventilator up until this past Monday 1-30-2017 when my daddy went to Heaven to be with the Great Lord Up Above they was there at Ur every needs and when my daddy was getting restless we told them and they came right in and did what they were suppose to do they were really really really really wonderful with my daddy and including the respiratory therapist they did a great job also my family can't thank you guys enuf for all yall did for my daddy and my mommy and us you guys were wonderful and there for us till my daddy took his last breath and until they took him off to the funeral hope thank you again all of yall love to u all!!!!!!!!!!

Nurses are rude doctors are worthless. Didn't take one look at my wife while she is coughing her head off and says there is nothing he can do. We go to Washington hospital and they give her anti biotics and cough medicine

I like the staff they are nice and in general wonderful caring people but the valet SERVICE sucks they saw my disabled mother and I and didn't bother to ask if they could help me with my mom all these people did was gab and chit chat with the driver of the convience shuttle and then they all got into the stupid convience shuttle and did nothing if this is how they are fine but for me to get my disabled mother out of the car by myself knowing she's not feeling to well really urks my nerves I feel like if you don't want to do your job then don't work with people go work elsewhere honestly this was rude and inconsiderate
