Wost hospital ever the staff is unprofessional and neglectful!!!
ER terrible experience, poor customer service. Very disorganized. ER waiting too long.
Great company to work for
I love it
Dr. Al Bolivar of San Bernardino Community Hospital and the hospital itself is a complete joke...don't even waste your time with such nonsense. Oh..how can I forget when Dr. BOLIVAR KICKED ME OUT OF THE HOSPITAL AT 12:00am because he said he wasn't smart enough to do the surgery!
THEY REALLY TOOK CARE OF US ALL THE WAY.THANK YOU STAFF AND FRIENDS!!
My wife was admitted into the ER room within 20 minutes of arriving. After what seemed like an eternity she was diagnosed with appendicitis. The RN and doctors were very helpful considering the fact that the Emergency Room was completely full, they managed to place us in priority due to her circumstances. The only downfall was that the front desk wasn't very helpful in getting me to my wife's room once she was admitted (I had to text her and find out which room she was in, no biggie) I had to figure things out on my own. I don't want anyone to misconstrue this as a negative review, the time it took them to diagnose her was pertinent for the doctors in making a well thought out decision and the time it took for her to get diagnosed simply means that they were doing there job while keeping my wife at a comfortable state. Monetary compensations were never an issue and were set aside which made me and my wife feel at ease (i'm sure I will be billed later) but nevertheless I found that the overall service that this hospital provided was terrific and would return again if the need ever came. My wife is now home and is expected to make a speedy recovery, Thanks Community Hospital of San Bernardino
They were quick in attending me and the staff were really friendly
Outrageous the charges for procedures here . Beware ! My procedure was over 3 times the average amt at others places. I found that out to late . So check around first before you have anything done here !! they will not work with you as far as if you pay cash take even a small amt off of what you owe either . They gouged my insurance and myself for the remainder, I will NEVER use this facility again for that reason . The star I gave is for the the hospital employees as they were great The facility rates and billing dept don't really deserve one star .
Excellent care Team.
I spoke with 2 females this morning for help to set up a Dr. Appointment. Very unprofessional horrible customer service. One lady never called back while she was assisting me when the phone magically disconnected. Then the second lady I spoke to had a really bad attitude an hung up on me while I was talking. Never again will call this business for health assistance.
Took my son in the morning for a spider bite on his ear, medication was given and sent home. Ended going back later the same day, condition had worsen, his face got swollen. More meds were prescribed and sent home again...now he has trouble swallowing. In my point of view he needed test done, not pain killers...Took him to LOMA Linda...where he had test done immediately and IV with antibiotics.
Luv the ER, quick & friendly service

I was born here
I can honestly say that if you ever get seriously ill don’t go to this hospital. An old family friend was taken here about a month ago because she had a stroke. They said she was fine and only had a minor bladder infection and an hour later she died. Her doctor from Kaiser refused to sign a form they were making her sign to release her from the hospital because she claimed they weren’t putting everything on her death certificate. I’d also like to mention that when I went to the restroom there they were filthy and there was a ROACH! This is a hospital people, I would expect more care to the hygiene precisely because it’s a hospital. There was trash in the waiting room too. Never again.
Helpful knowledge able ICU nurses.
I really hate this hospital worse hospital ever
I work here through a registry. (It's like a temp agency for the hospital) I love it! Most of the staff is absolutely excellent!
Actitude is a real bad problem with this hospital An emphathy is not part of the service.when you have a serious disability you will be treat it like garbage an the staff will lie to get you to accept there terms.I got bill for ambulance services ,when I had told them I had transportation 995.00dollars,insurence do not pay this".DIGNITY" is there name.Is more "Hittler's CLINIC".
The physic people who answered the phones were very rude I would not recommend this hospital to anyone very bad service
wonderful nurses on the 4th floor. Tony Melissa Maggie Diamond Ya'll Rock!!
Good people
This is one of the best Hospitals in San BERNARDINO
Daughter is having scheduled C-Section tomorrow... The tour was nice,..
Worse place ever. Didnt even get seen all they did was blood work, and that was it didnt get no help at all...
Everyone including their robot out in the lot helped I wish there was one smaller version of the will Robinson robot in the rooms after we get called into the nurses and doctors area it would make children elders and the majority of patients be safer I feel safer. Now if it served small coffee or tea that people could ask it by putting a coffee ticket to validate for free coffee etc.
I always got attended fast and nurses are very helpful
My niece had baby at this hospital, nurse in the nurses station was rude, my entire families "FIRST" impression was not good, what is the point of being a nurse if you can't deal with people, why go school and take a job where you are going to be dealing with the public, (don't they get trained on how to deal with the public) when families are visiting the hospital normally there are three types of people who come in as visitors, people who are hurting or sad, people who are hopeful about a prognosis or joyful about a new life, not sure what was wrong with her IF she was having a bad day, however her attitude and demeanor were unprofessional , the rest of the staff have been nothing but awesome, and it is sad to give it a one star review, but it is true people remember first impressions. Update: I went on to the hospitals website and put in a complaint and to my surprise within 2 hours I received a call from the Hospital Administrator, she wanted to talk about our experience she was very apologetic and appreciative that I took the time to let them know of our experience, she was sincere and said they cannot address situations if they don't know about them, she also mentioned she was going to go speak to my niece as well, which she did and they felt the same way I did that she was genuinely concerned and was going to make sure that she did everything in her power to see that patients and visitors alike don't walk out of their hospital experience feeling the way we felt. I was very happy for the phone call and really showed me if we don't speak up or let someone know how will we ever see change. Today when I walked in to visit my niece the atmosphere was different, the nurse that was rude was not there but everyone was beyond nice and my niece 100% agrees.
I'm the labor and delivery the staff was the worse ..I have never been in a hospital that was so unprofessional...I was here because my sister in law was delivering at this hospital n when she was pushing the Dr n the nurses that were all in there where making faces and jokes ..it was so uncomfortable..this journey is suppose to be something to remember and make the patient feel safe and comfortable n they did the opposite .also when she was in labor there was a nurse that had just got certified but she was clueless about what she was doing and every time we had a question she would answer our questions with a question or say she would be right back . they also take your baby out of the room to weight them and your not allowed to go with them. ..the baby is never suppose to leave the room ..all just to make the nurse job easier instead of bringing the scale to the room ...this experience was the worse I wish I was able to take it all back and take them to a better hospital .
My mom just had her baby 2 days ago and we had an awesome experience, everyone was really nice and helpful.
The most horrible hospital ever!!! My sister went in to the psychiatric unit because she needed help but instead of helping her they hurt her, hit her on the brick wall and slammed her on the floor. My sister is disabled mentally for life and I dont understand how people can have such a cruel heart to hurt their patients instead of helping them!!! Never never bring anyone to this hospital!!
This is my most sincere rating for this hospital. I came to This hospital pregnant and unable to see another dr. Because my previous care provider dropped me at 8months. The day I came in I was having contractions. The dr in charge in Labor and and delivery was so kind, he told me that they would be more than happy to continue monitoring me and my baby. I Was Scheduled the following 3 weeks to come in and have my self and my baby monitored before my scheduled C-section. The day of, I came in was prepped the nurses were truly friendly, and the dr. As well. I can say the best care was after my C-Section when I went in to Recover the nurses were also very helpful, friendly and curteous. And when I was finally taken to my room Where I would stay for the remainder of the time the nurses who took care of me And nursed me back to health were the kindest sweetest and attentive nurses ever!!! Thank You Ayesha , Lisa and Kim! For your help in taking care of me and my baby. We will be forever grateful! Everything you ladies did for us was truly appreciated did not go unnoticed!!! The best care ever! The best experience! I felt like an actual human being attended and not out of place. The best experience . I would Recommend this hospital to anyone who is delivering you will be taken good care of
Worse hospital I have ever been to in my entire 38 years of living. Our visit started in the ER. The patient (my loves rgencyone) was transfered here from another hospital to do a MRI. She laid on a gurnee for 6 in the HALL of the emergency department until finally she went behind a curtain. An hour later a doctor came in to explain that the patient had, had a stroke but this is not a hospital that handles strokes. Are you freaking kidding me????? Then why, if they thought she had, had a stroke was she transfered here in the first place? My loved ones is still a patient here and has been since Wednesday. She has gotten extremely worse and the neglect she is receiving is unbelievable. She is in ICCU and is completely ignored. Forgive me if I'm wrong but isn't ICCU the department for extremely care. It's when the patient is taken care of extensively by one nurse? The nurse basically focuses on the patient in one room. Every nurse except a small few are the exact opposite of this. There condisending, rude and uncaring. One nurse in the ER yelled at me for opening our curtain and demanded t I shut it. Like a prisoner. I would NEVER recommend this hospital to not even my worst enemy.
Great service at visit the was well welcoming
This place sucks my cousin came in sick and left even more sick than before this place dowdoeshelp you at all
Had my baby here. Worst experience ever. Transferred me to another department floor after i had my C section and it was SO HOT in there. no fans or a room with a window was offered. Nurses kept barging in my room to the point where i had to yell and tell everybody not to come in my room at all. I only had 2 good nurses throughout my whole stay there which was about for 5 days. The thing that pissed me off the most was the pads situation after i used them all! I asked for more pads and the staff told me that the pads given to me were a "GIFT"!! Are you kidding me?? I had to tell my husband to buy me more pads cause this hospital didn't want to provide me with any more. Last but not least me or my husband didn't get any type of Congrats dinner for having our first baby. When i asked why the Nurse said " OH i don't know, let me get back to you about that" and Never came back!! When i asked other nurses about it, it seemed like all of them were avoiding the question till i got the answer "WE DON'T DO THOSE DINNERS ANYMORE". Like whattaya mean?? What kind of #$&:!; hospital is this -_- thanks for ruining my first Child birth hospital experience.
This hospital is GREAT! I used to live in San Bernardino, I always came to this hospital and always did an amazing job! I recently moved to Moreno Valley and honestly, I still come all the way to San Bernardino to get checked here instead of the hospitals in Moreno Valley. Everyone is so helpful! They know what they are doing!
I just want to say thanks to everybody that took care of me here my nurse was great my RT was awesome and my doctor Sanket Kunde MD was really helpful and answered all my questions and concerns thank you guys!
Amazing care for the patient!!!!
Not safe
Transported by ambulance to this hospital. For 12 months I have been dealing with billing. Insurance and hospital not on same page. Sent numerous copies to hospital of ins. eob. Finally find out from insurance that hospital is not blue cross/blue shield participant so they don't honor the rates from blue cross. Wouldn't have gone there if I knew that. They also could have stated that during calls for billing issues. Don't go here if blue cross insured, they won't tell you they aren't participating.
It's amazing here everything, it's a great place for labor and delivery
(Translated by Google) Bad hospital yesterday I was treated very badly for not speaking perfect English to the degree that I had to go to the emergency room with my sick son la.gringA who took care of me.more than stupid to treat me (Original) Mal hospital ayer me trataron muy mal por no hablar ingles perfecto al grado que tuve que irme de emergencias con mi hijo enfermo la.gringA que me.atendio fue.mas que estupida al tratarme
I hate the Emergency Room, but I choose this one if I have a choice. The staff are God sent angels to put up with me & some of the other characters I've seen in this er room. If you approach them with respect they'll treat you with that respect 10x over plus patience because they know you don't wanna be there. Medical records is quick & kind.
My daughter was born there, and the staff where great.
Good
A Community feel!
This is my first and last time coming here. The ER is seriously unorganized. I waited six hours with a serious rash to be treated. I was vomiting from both ends with my heart racing super fast. My file was terminated because I failed to hear my name three times. This was not true, and later I had to sign up again. The nurses do not know what they are doing. I ask questions only to get redirected to the front desk in the end. All of the wait was just for a benadryl. This hospital does not take care of their patients. There is a major lack of quality and "Dignity" in their service. Take my word for it. Don't give them any business.
It's fast
Had my son here back in 2012, west side hospital is off the bat way more professionally ran than saint bernardines. Hands down
Out patient surgery 2nd floor has some very serious issues with privacy and communications for keeping families informed.
I wasn't too sure about coming here but really had no choice. I was blown away! I have had kaiser for years until recently and have never been this well taken care of! They were very attentive looked at me as a person not just a patient. From walking thru the door to discharge 2 hours. I have nothing but good things to say!
if you like downtown San Bernardino your gonna love it! Substandard medical care at its very best.
Been waiting 5 hra for x ray results
The doctor is I jerk and the staff is ghetto and rude. Had a staph infection from jail and they said it was a cute.
This hospital sucks. I had a baby here and they called social workers to come to my house after because my depression which was 4 yrs ago like wow. I'm super happy not depressed but this is just so horrible. Can't even enjoy anything with them bugging. Don't go here.
Dont have you're baby in this hospital nurses suck they dont check on u like they should and are very rude (most of them) doctors are not around when it is time to discharge so you will stay longer then needed. Daughter was born on tue and we're still waiting for discharge it is now fri afternoon. Rooms are uncomfortable all u hear is babies crying due to neglect from staff. Will NEVER come here again very bad experience
I had a really bad experience here when I went in for the first time eight weeks pregnant for vomiting and lower abdominal pain they didn't do nothing they just gave me a shot and sent me on my way ... four days later I was there again , One of the RNs told me that I needed to stop going that I had already been there to match and the vomiting was normal and that I needed to suck it up ...feeling even worse than the first time ... four days later I was there again !! This time was because I had thrown up so much acid from not eating or drinking any liquids that I was throwing up fresh blood and they still didn't do anything and I was complaining of chest pain and the nurse said that Heart burn was common in pregnancy. After that last visit I never went there again I was visiting in Victorville and was seen at St. Mary's hospital where they then admitted me for five days because of dehydration and that chest pain I was having was from throwing up so much that it was tearing the tissue from my throat on the inside, and I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis gravidarum.
I went in for blood pressure problems and was told they couldn't help me.I was escorted out by the gaurds and told to leave after being discharged. It was raining and all I had on was a pair of slippers and no coat.Horrible place to go if you need care.
My 16 years old niece was very sick, and I took her to Urgent Care on Sunday 2/5, her medical is in process and it's not active yet. for that reason they did not give us the prescription and let her go without medicine because I did not have $127 dlls on me. I asked them to give me the prescription and send the bill because she was very sick but they refused! they should change their name dignity health and stop using religion to portray themselves as good people, they're not! they only care about the money, they don't care at all about the people, nobody was running away without pay. The bill was going to be paid! :/
My daughter was brought in by ambulance after she had a seizure at home. Everyone did a wonderful job of making my daughter feel safe and cared for and made me feel at ease. From the paramedics, the doctor, registration, housekeeping, and the two wonderful nurses who took care of my baby, you all did a great job! Thank you!
The hospital was neglectful of my 58 year old father who has dementia and diabetes and high Blood pressure and unlawfully discharged him under the assumption he was homeless and when i went to visit i was given the news and the run around
Always packed but they try to get you out fast
My friend came in by ambulance on the 26th and they say she is contracting then all of a sudden they saying she is not contacting but clearly you can see it. Then they keep giving her meds that are not safe for the baby. We asked them to stop and they still gave them to her. They all so got mad when my friends doctor ordered her to stay one more night and the nurse rolled her eyes at her and told her to suck it up. I asked why the baby's heart rate is all over the place they say that normal. And i know for a fact that it is not normal. We have now been here for 24 hours and they have yet to do anything to help her move the laber along. They have not checked her since 600 pm it is now 1223 a.m. we will not be coming back to this hospital at all.......
This a good place
i was better off going to sanbernardino countyl jail because the lady up in ;labor and delivery is awful rudest meanest insulting lady! !
Very rude workers here!!
great &'fast service
No surven para atender duran mucho tiempo y supuestamente es emergencias
Fast & simple
Staff are so rude all they do is talk to others and ignore everyone.Never coming here again!!
Horrible!! Emergency workers are rude. This Hospital is very unprofessional!!
This Hospital should be put out of business relocate all their staff with decent workers so they could learn the value of life my son went in for an update and a reaction of lupus and he was pronounced dead on May 3rd on a cardiac arrest who does that.
(Translated by Google) At the time of birth my baby the doctor and nurses treated me very well, in my stay after childbirth well too but I give 3 stars for some nursing mistakes and for ignoring a request. (Original) A la hora de nacer mi bebe el doctor y enfermeras me atendieron muy bien, en mi estadía despues del parto bien tambien pero le doy 3 estrellas por unos errores de enfermera y por hacer caso omiso a una petición.
Terrible service ER is very bad, doctor and staff very bad
Friendly place
I came to this hospital around 12 midnight 02/07/16. The reason for being there. Was that I have sickle cell and was in a serious pain crisis. due to them seeing other patients faking to get prescribed pain medicine they wrote me off and assumed I was the same as every other patient. So from 12 till 3:40 in the morning I waited in the lobby that seemed not to be very busy as I've lived in much bigger cities with bigger crowds I felt so uncared for like I was a number not a patient or someone with a chronic illness. On to the security very rude over abusive with their power babies constantly crying with no one even attempting to attend to them. Bathrooms were filthy and the staff looked as if they'd rather be somewhere else on Saturday night. The only time I saw these people smile was when they were having conversations with eachother not once did I feel as if anyone cared. At around 3:45 me being from Los Angeles I left community hospital and drove 50 minutes to children's hospital LA where I still attend despite being 26. The waiting room at chla was 12x as full as community but after I checked in I was in the back within 5 minute's. Because they understood what I was going thru. I'm sorry but I could not go without reviewing this atrocious experience I had at my local hospital. And it is very sad I had to drive 67 miles in pain to be tooken care of properly. Hope you guys understand every patient is not the same.
If there was no star available I will definitely choose that one, it has been the most horrible, disappointing and humiliating experience I have ever had in an ER, we came with an ambulance and they not only didn't allow me to go with my husband but make me wait for over an hour to go inside without no information about his health regardless of me crying, insensitive people, never again worst mistake of my life
I like the fast service. They told me they were going to prepare me for emergency surgery then KICKED me out. Because I had no insurance. WHERES The DIGNITY IN THAT? My ER bill was over 10 grand just for this visit.
I've never had problems at this hospital. Staff is amazing and very caring! Best hospital in SBDO that is for sure. ER is quick and they are very thorough.
Do not go to the urgent care run by this hospital. Doctor was terrible. Still trying to deal with an over $500 bill for a less than 20 second appointment. The worst excuse for healthcare that I've ever experienced.
Nice , faster then any of ER we been too . Made my baby feel better and I have no patience once so ever .
I've been there my fair share of times & frm the ER to being on the 5th floor, I like the people, I've come to get to knw many of the staff & I will continue to seek their services 4 myself & my family (God forbid) we should need them
The rooms are huge and from the few visits I've had to this place. It's nice and secluded. Staff was pleasant as well.
April 2011 I was at San Bernardo Community Hospital They were good to me...and helped me... Catholic Health is Very Wonderful! I have fond memories, thanks to all those great folks!
(Translated by Google) In the doc good deal something good (Original) En el doc buen trato algo bien
I have tried five times to call the outpatient lab. Been transferred five times and still have not reached the right department. To top it off the department I was transferred to acted irritated I had called and she asked me "where are you calling from anyway" as if I was bothering her on a break or something. Normally I call the lab and tell them in advance I am coming and don't have to waite, the paper work is ready when I arrive....nope, all of a sudden I can't call.
ER , Incredibly long day...... Left having to follow up with regular Dr.. Meanwhile no solution for 2 days during weekend . Quite unprofessional.... Going to another ER. With real help ....
The staff was so polite and helpful. My one year old son needed sutures on his tongue and I couldn't thank the staff enough! You guys are amazing. Dr. Mohammad lary johnny is the best doctor I've ever met. He was so honest and definitely had my son's best interest in mind. The demographics of the area has nothing to do with the staff. I've been to Kaiser, San Antonio regional and many other hospitals but dignity health definitely had a 5 star staff! Thank you guys again for helping my baby.
Amazing service! Quick & knowledgeable. Well trained staff. Will return
Just takes awhile for them to figure out what is wrong with you.
My wife just had surgery here and I think this place is firts class thank you guys
Great place to deliver your baby. I gave birth to two of my kids here. Both times I was treated very well and they made sure I was comfortable. The only reason for the 4 star rating is because of their ER and maybe one or two nurses might be less than accommodating. Other than that, it's a good hospital. I highly recommend it.
excellent idea for the online emergency room waiting
Worst hospital ever. Came with abdomin pain. They did surgery to not remove anything. They added more pain and let me mention the nurses. You will get lucky if you get one that cares half of staff is neglectful. They have poked me over and over again leaving me in pain and takes them couple trys to get it right. There's students that shouldn't be learning on serious sick people but are. They got offended when I told them I don't feel comfortable with students working on me. I AM NOT A DUMMY!
On 05-Sep-2015, I went to this hospital for the treatment of my broken left ring finger. And, never had the treatment of a real doctor but instead seen by a nurse who pulled the finger back into it's position but never referred me to any specialist, therapist, or additional tests for the finger to see, if it needed any other further treatments. I am a week and a half from surgery on the finger and it's been stated that further treatments were needed and also MRI'S and therapy for the finger instead of being released from the emergency room and under a police report that was the reason I went there from the beginning. Awful
If I could give 10 stars I would I recently stayed and from the ER to being admitted the team was on top of it. They made me so proud to have such excellent service and being in San Bernardino it is not that common. I have told tons of people about my awesome experience and would undoubtedly continue to refer people to them.. Keep up the great service!
Faster than Loma Linda's emergency wait.
Awesome nurse's and i loved the p.a Christine . who was very through and with my kidney issues she didn't waste any time of getting me on iv antibiotics pain medication and iv fluids a lot better than St Bernadine medical center
My experience in this place has horrible has a women me 24 year old don't trust this nurses at night, they are very unprofessional nurses, husband 25 year old with my 1 year old wend in for like 3 for 4 hours, call husband and told me that 4 nurses came and could find is vein, wend they are supposedly be PROFESSIONAL, husband told me that a friendly MEN came and finally find his vein ! It's so sad that receptionist told me that I has to ask security for permission to go inside and lied to my face! All I want to do is to go inside and see my crying baby and support him in his bad sick moments and they deny my entrance wend they had all my information, funny thing after I ask the receptionist name (DONT EVEN MIND) lie in my face for the reason that I talk previously with my husband and he told me his experience with this unvalue women's in the most unprofessional way, I was never was denied to go inside before BE CAREFUL!!! WOMENS WITH PEOPLE BECAUSE AT THE END THEY ARE PEOPLE!!!!!!! AND NOT ANGELES, CALL OUT ALL THIS WOMEN THAT WORK THERE HAS NURSES , RECEPTIONISTS AND SECURITY AND THEY Portrayed them self the big thing wend they are regular just like anyone else !!!!!!!!! my family is never coming back to this Hospital. NO NAMES DONT WANT ANY PROBLEMS THIS THIS PEOPLE. For administración I have pictures for prof from all this people and I am willing to go so this hospital don't get more unprofessional because this was the hospital where I had my precious baby boy all this happen around today at 1:00am reception is in our ends were just gossiping about their personal life and working hours
Very good service and fast :)
Supposed to check in for surgical procedure, and got stuck in the ER all day and the only bed available, was one in the ER. Then I was told the person to occupy that bed was there for 2 days.
The labor and delivery nurses are professional and friendly, loved everything but the food
It was a bad experience.
