Someone need to look into the quality of care with this "so called" speciality clinic...I was a patient from January to April there with an abundance of issues..I sat in my feces and urine for 45 minutes before the "cna" came back from break...Nurses do no accomodate a patient that needs bathroom assistance...I couldn't walk, had sepsis and other complications..When my insurance ran out...they sent me home with a wheelchair and walker..I fell the second day I was home and needed a fire department rescue...I am still in therapy from PTSD from my treatment at this facility.. If I can give advice...please make sure that you visit the facility and the patient...I didn't have anyone to advocate for me in the situation.. I was in house February 2017 to April 13. 2017..I had to ask numerous times for a toothbrush (4 days without brushing teeth) I wasn't provided physical therapy on a regular basis and everyone who cared for my hygiene hated to bring me a bedpan to assist... ALSO, my television was tied with a bed sheet and there was no heat in our room of 4 patients for it was too hot for the other patients down the hall...

My husband sent here needing wound care and physical therapy, left in an ambulance and on life support. No one will return my calls to tell me what the hell happened to him in their care. Don't send your family if you can help.it.

This place is terrible, my husband was in this place and needed to be turned every 2 to 3 hrs well when i showed up one weekend i found him on his back i asked the nurse why he wasnt turned and she stood there and said to me he was, I said oh yeah well then where are the pillows that belong under him I guess they use invisible pillows. So the nurses have the nerve to stand there right in front you and lie to your face. Mind you this happened three times and each time they stood there and lied they need to rid of invisible pillows. This place should not be rated at all.

Kind to us. Allowed my 5 year old to get a visit with her grandmother in her last hours.

Worst place ever. They didn’t take care of my grandma. We got there and she had poop all over her. She was hyperventilating and we told them and they didn’t do anything. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone. No doctors were even there at all. She was taken out of there by ambulance in very critical condition.

Forget the haters this hospital was the best there is no way I could have stayed for a month if the staff and the conditions weren't so great i saw the nurses put through the test with some of the rudest and hateful peaple and they still never slacked on there job and usually with a smile I would renamed central valley to anyone. I read the reviews before I went there and thought worsted forget the other reviews this is the truth and I have nothing to gain by saying so just an obligation for the truth. This is to the staff .Thank you for being so good to me

I would not put a cockroach in this place !!!! I wish they had a half of a star !! Doctors hospital put my father in this place when he was supposed to go to another facility! It so run down cabinet doors are lying on the ground in the rooms, holes in wall and leaks in the roof dripping on the floor all They did was put a towel down. I had to call risk management due to not cleaning my father up leaving him in his feces he and urine over an hour!!! He has some great Rn but his Cna's was horrible he had a broken femur and we tell them that they had to slide the leg but they just picked it up and drop it. He was in so much pain that they wouldn't give him a his pain meds !! The cna's just stay in hallways and talking then doing their job!! Then on top of that they're giving him medicine that he's not even taking that can cause his body more damage. The doctors hardly came in to see him and they were going by the old hospital orders even his case manager did not know what he was on!.! They don't know what one hand is doing from the other!! I feel one day they will end up killing someone with the way they do things there!!!

Most nurses were excellent, but it depended on what floor and shift. Facility is dated and needs new air conditioning. Need some type of social activities because many patients are there for weeks or more.

stefanie uribe

Friendly staff but it took me 3 days to get my prescription filled there fax machine obviously dont work

My husband spent a month here in this facility. While some of the nurses were nice and PT services were excellent the on staff doctor was horrible. Dr. Reddy didn't listen to the concerns of my husband. She refused to get him outside care for the swelling in his leg and knee. Everyday he complained about his knee and she basically ignored him. Then wrote in his report that the pain was chronic and self diagnosed that he had osteoarthritis. The food was terrible. No rhyme nor reason as to what he was given. Way too many starches. Little meat. One morning he was served a rubberized egg disk and expected to eat it. They refused to bring him salads which is what he liked. He was told if he had a salad then that was all he could have. He was not on a restricted diet. People either cried out all night or cursed all day. This was terribly wrong. I only give it 1 star. Don't put you loved ones in thewre. My husband was emaciated when he left after a month.

Giving this place one star is not doing justice. This place needs to be closed down ASAP. If you love your family members please don't send them here, find ways to leave them at the emergey room or the ICU. PLACE IS LIKE THE LAST BUS STOP TO THE GRAVE. Please please and please Don't. I don't know how and why this place is licensed. Half the time the nurses don't know what they are doing, they are away from the patients for an extended period of time. Please don't take care of people in HEALTHCARE for a paycheck. Do it because you have the passion to help people. It's hard watching a loved one suffer because of their negligence and malpractice. I am saying this lightly.

I was transferred to this facility on the assumption that a certain piece of equipment would be there on arrival, the equipment was not there as told and they denied me my pain management and other medication. I was there for less than 24 hours before my doctors and surgeons pulled me out of the facility and Noel I'm looking into what can be done to see this place is closed or restructured so nobody has to endure the same experience as I have.

I can only attest to the health care provided to my mother while I am present. She is fully dependent (currently) and in a four person room. Staff is in and out of the room constantly, very polite and accommodating. She is being turned on schedule (for the most part) and when I ring them for any assistance they are quick to respond and complete the requested task. The rooms and conditions are very clean. We are not on food yet (room mates did not rave about it but nobody like blan healthy food) so i can not provide insight. She is starting passive therapy and my onsite family stated it is happening so I look forward to progress reports. We also provide passive therapy to help with recovery. In general the staff does appear to care and work hard. If you provide a little appreciation and willingness to help them it goes a long way folks. We look forward to moving her closer to home so we can continue to provide the support needed to bring mom home but that move is no reflection on the care caters efforts. Treat the staff and your loved one within their care and consideration you would want and everyone will succeed.

Make sure if your loved one has clothes, they go home with them. I spent over $80 in clothing and none of it was transported to the next hospital.

Place had their water shut down the first week my dad was here and not all nurses are bad but most of em mainly for the day shift are down right lazy and have led to many complications through my dad's recovery. If you have family here VISIT them and observe how the place is run.

My brother was just admitted to this hospital. The care he is receiving now as compared to the care he was receiving at the last hospital is a light year’s difference. The bed is cleaner, newer and the environment is much more friendly. His nurse Summer is engaging, friendly and a breath of fresh air.

Jesse Gonzales

Like all hospitals they have some really good nurses and some not so good. My sister had been in here for a week so far got rehab and we will see how it goes.

The nurses werè and most of the CON'S were great but the Doctors were horrible. My experience with Tawas just terrible. I felt like my medical treatment was dismissed andI was treated like my needs were too hard to deal with.

Inspite of the reviews I’ve read I continued to give CVSH a chance by apply for the position I qualified for for a few months. After about 5 months I received an email requesting me to interview with them. I was not able to interview at the requested time so called and spoke to the interviewer we set up a new time. After jumping through hoops with my job to make this interview happen I traveled on Friday in holiday traffic for 35 minutes. Got to the front desk to find that my interviewer left for the day and to reschedule. I was pretty put off that I never received a call before making the trip and how disrespectful it was. I will never reschedule a interview with this company.

Its the worst place to have a loved one there...they dont feed patients my dad had a rash because they will not change him constantly..he had a infection while been there nurses are mean .dont care about the patients they just care about making money ..WORST PLACE in CENTRAL VALLEY

Alexandria Barajas

This hospital is horrible.. please don't bring your loved ones here. They aren't on top of things. I have called twice to see if they put my grandpa in dialysis and they told me two different times that he was when he wasn't so he was alone. They nurses and the doctors suck here. You have to tell them over and over to do something. This place needs to be shut down or get better nurses and doctors that will actually do their jobs.

Carme Ro

You have to stay on the staff to make sure you get care. If you have family members there you need too keep in touch daily to in sure they do not get worse.

This one star should not even be given to this horrible facility. Specific staff are friendly and sweet, but DO NOT LET ANYONE BRING YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!! Sutter Hospital will try to move you here for "recovery" but wont tell you that THEY THEMSELVES have been trying to shut this place down for years. We did not let my cousin spend more than 36 hours in this place after not having the equipment he needed to BREATHE!!! They infiltrated BOTH of his arms to the point of noticeable swelling, he was hypertensive for HOURS and was given pain medication into the wrong IV by the DOCTOR HIMSELF! We witnessed all the horrible malpractices because we are the type of family that did not leave him for a second! And could you blame us?! You read all the mixed reviews and wonder, could it really be true, please learn from other peoples experience and DO NOT ALLOW anyone you care about to be here! Its not worth it!

I came in with a fractured arm it was just hanging I couldn't move my arm at all. I was also bleeding from the head and my my lip they turned me away and told me right when I got inside that I need to leave right now! The nurses were super rude they didn't help at all.

Worst place ever

Maria Guadalupe Perez

Can I give a negative star rating? I can only speak from my perspective and my observations and experience but so be it. The staff didn’t know what was even going on. No one seemed to be in charge and the rooms are all very outdated. When asking what the prognosis was, or the state of my relative, no one knew how to answer. One nurse claimed to not know how to draw blood a certain way and ended up poking various holes in my uncle’s arm. For the various days my uncle was there, we visited every single day and no updates were given even when we asked. As previously stated, much of the machinery didn’t look reliable. Previous information from the hospital he was in prior to this place seemed to be lost or miscommunicated because they kept “running” the same tests that had already been run before. Day by day, we watched his health deteriorate and nothing was being done to save him or even try to get him to get better. It is pretty much a hospice where hospitals send patients to die. One patient even told us to not “let [my uncle] die here.” We thought he was going to maybe make it, but it was the nearest specialty hospital and we didn’t have much of a choice because he couldn’t be transported. He went brain dead there 10 days after being checked in. The cause of death was cardiac arrest due to pneumonia but not much was done to help it go away. He was not fed, they put a tube up his nose and they didn’t try and help him eat. Physical therapy kept getting pushed back. The main problem was not dealt with. Seemingly lack of effort and interest from the staff. Overall, too many things were going on at once and none were getting fixed. Constant agony and grief.

My son had a 2nd stroke and was sent to this acute care facility for rehab. To my dismay and fears from reading reviews - unfortunately was/came true! He wasn't to be released until he could navigate stairs, walk with a walker and had effective speech therapy. There was no confirmed Home Health Services. There was no speech therapy. He didn't have effective PT in order to navigate stairs. He still is incontinent and has no control of his bowel functions. There was no bed protectors or male depends sent home with him, but a wheelchair was delivered, even though it's useless unless I have to transport him to appointments. Regarding medictions: .He wasn't sent home with any mandatory medications except the two I had sent with him and a triplicate for pain management which he did not need. If it was not for a wonderful Anthem Nurse, he probably would be dead by now. It took 5 business days and numerous calls to finally get the e-scripts sent to our pharmacy. Regarding the nursing staff, I'm very grateful for their care and concern for my son! They were very attentive to his needs. Thank you for being there for himi! Its unfortunate that your hands were tied by insurance agencies guidelines. Central's PT staff are lacking in their abilities and skills. The one Star review I have given only pertains to the overall facility. 5 stars goes to nurses station. If your loved ones are sent to Central, PLEASE MAKE SURE that when they're going to be discharged into your home that they are able to be ambulatory and have everything confirmed before any discharged forms are signed! I FEEL VERY MISLEAD. Listen to your heart.

They got good nurses here at the hospital.

I spent 6-7 weeks at this hospital and I'm alive because of them!! I got put on a ventilator due to pnoumona. When I was secure enough I came here. I thank all the nurse's, doctors, respiratory & rehabilitation therapist for the work they did. They were all truly dedicated and caring. The food was amazing. Who would of thought I would miss a hospital.
