This place is a total joke! Watched the triage nurse just lecture a patient who was screaming in pain about his handwriting and tell him they wouldn't bring him back to be treated until he produced a state ID. The whole thing made me wonder if it's because she thought he was an illegal alien, she was treating him terribly! Now that I know better, I wouldn't take my worst enemy here! Save yourself the hassle and just go elsewhere!

I was pretty worried about going to this ER. I have heard by a few people to stay away, just since moving here in June, but today I had to get my heart checked out. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a receptionist who had a attitude and made it seem like I was bothering her. I literally felt like my heart was going to explode. She told me(as I'm holding my chest in pain) "take a clipboard and fill it out bring it back with your ID ready" (with my heart condition I could have been having a heart attack and she could care less). I filled out the paperwork and took it to the other lady who was at registration. They got me back fast and started looking me over. My rating is a ocer all, nurse was very short(almost unfriendly.. no personality).. HOWEVER, once I got back to a room(wasn't long) doctor came in, he was very thorough and check out EVERYTHING(found out my Magnesium had dropped, which is VERY dangerous with my heart condition) doctor who took care of me was extremely nice. He gave copies of everything done today(7/26/2019) including my EKG and a recommendation for a cardiologist in Arizona! THE REGISTRATION PERSONAL NEED A ATTITUDE CHECK OR NEED FIRED, THEY ARE RUDE AND UNCARING OF PATIENTS WHO ARE THERE FOR A REASON!

Waste of time. I injured my back a week ago and when to another ER. I'm still having pain but also other symptoms. Symptoms I was told to go back to the ER for. Well I was checked for a urinary infection and given Motrin and sent home. No scans to make sure nothing serious is wrong with my back. I wasn't coming for meds, I wanted tests.

Wow. I really should’ve looked at the reviews before utterly waiting my time. Dr. O, as he calls himself, was entirely unhelpful. Save yourself the time and money, and go elsewhere.

My ASU son ended up at the ER for flu-like symptoms, and as his mom 700 miles away, I was pretty worried. I was able to talk to a nurse right away, and she took the time to explain how she was caring for my son (with flu and strep tests and IV fluids). The nurse reassured me, telling me that she is a mom too, so she could understand my panic at not being able to be there. Compared to some of my experiences of long waits in Los Angeles ERs, I'd say the Tempe ER is doing pretty well.

Honestly have never seen people treated so poorly. The lady’s at the front desk DONT know how to do their jobs and are so rude.
