The first time I came here I was having a miscarriage, I was in pain walking and talking. I was treated with dignity, respect and fully informed. I wasn't put in a room with a bed but I was in a shared space with a hospital chair I could at least lay down in. Today in walked into this er with symptoms of miscarriage and dehydration, i could barely walk and had my 2 children with me. I was a fall risk and pregnant not even offered a wheel chair. After the first PA came in, i thought they were bring me to a place to lay down, but sent me to a waiting room for a lab. I almost fell out in there and they pushed me through to wait in ANOTHER waiting room for blood test results and registration??????!! I actually did pass out in there and my two kids were all over the place. I came out of it when my name is called I could barely hold myself up and the lady just stared at me. Then I was told to sit in ANOTHER chair right outside the waiting room. The man ahead of me was furious and got up and said no, you people are ke care of this lady, she's passed out already and she has 3 little kids with her. I barely got through the "registration" when I couldn't believe she told me to go walk back into the waiting room and wait for my test results. I had already shared with this lady what I went through, I asked her why they were operating this way? She looked at me and just said she would ask a nurse just go in and wait. I slammed my drink down... I yelled at her which is out of my character especially in a public place, told her this is the worst hospital I have ever been in and that I need to go elsewhere. I told her to AMA me. I looked at the nurse walking up behind me, I said shame on you all, you know better than to put a fall risk patient through this, especially with 2 small children. She got an attitude with me, I told her not to talk to me, I'm leaving. I took my kids out of the door. I made a scene for about 2seconds, but then I heard her call security. I collapsed outside the er entrance. I was trying to call my husband but I could barely talk. I managed to carry myself having to stop a few times, to hospice where I could wait with the kids until my husband arrived to help. He got there and took the kids in to get cleaned up, I was trying to set up insurance transport on my phonr and security comes up and tells me because I was an AMA I have to get off the property. I started crying because I never have been treated so low and like a piece of trash. I explained that I was getting my ride set up. They said I needed to "sit by the curb". Apparently there was a huge fight going on, they thought it was me causing the problems. After the officer told me he wouldn't help me up before putting his gloves on, the other man was very sweet and didn't care. The " placed" me by the side of the road like trash.
I was going to have our baby here, but I can promise you, after today's fiasco... NO WAY.
