Jerica from the ER was the sweetest, most helpful, patient staff member I could have ever hoped for yesterday evening!! All of the staff were amazing but she went above and beyond! I had many questions but she truly went through each step with me and set my nerves at ease. I hope her or her boss see this because she really does need to know how much she makes a difference for the patients and family members that she sees everyday! Thank you Jerica!

I have spent the greater part of the last 6 months in the BMT (bone marrow transplant) area of this hospital and was awed by the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. I was disappointed that you included the one star review because someone disapproved of a "pregnant nurse". A very biased and unfair evaluation, plus with only 5 reviews, it brought the average way down. My only complaint was the hospital food, but what else is new? Sharon McCarthy

Went here about a year ago and I don’t think They think HIPPA applies to them. I told the staff multiple times that I would like my diagnoses told by me and me only to my loved ones. The doctor didn’t care, walked in, asked me if that was my boyfriend. At the time I said yes, and then he continues to blurt out my condition with no care in the world to who was in the room, even after I asked them not to. I attempted to contact the hospital many times, left messages. Nothing. They don’t care about the patient. At all. If you can I would say go elsewhere.

Don't go here unless you have to! Attention to detail for your medical care is pretty important, especially when you are admitted by en ER doc (extreme chest pain, lack of breath, etc), due to multiple pulmonary embolisms. This was my 2nd time getting PE's and it was scary. I don't normally get too worried about medical issues, but I can honestly say that I was truly concerned about surviving this. PE's can kill you instantly and have a very high mortality rate. Scottsdale Shea HonorHealth Hospital provided mediocre service, had terrible attention to detail and demonstrated a complete lack of patient care. Once in the hospital (instead of the E.R.), there were 2 overnight nurses that were very nice! However, the acceptable standard for the staff at Scottsdale Shea HonorHealth is well below any other hospital I have personally visited.

Top notch professional care for everyone.

Doctors were great but they had a blonde nurse who's pregnant and about to have a baby who should not be treating patients. She is horrible. Send her home or tell her to get a new job.

Charles Peters

I hope everybody reads this because it's very important. My insurance Health Net is contracted (in network) out to HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea emergency. I go in because of dehydration, kidney failure, and low blood sugar. When my insurance gets the bill from the hospital they pay it, because I have met my deductible. But that's just when the problem starts I did receive a bill from a doctor I've never seen or heard of who is requiring I pay him $1,800 for seeing me, now keep in mind I'm in in and out of consciousness. My insurance company won't pay it, because he is out of network doctor. When I first got the bill from the doctor, I thought it was a mistake now he's threatening me to take further "action", because this just happened I'm not sure what to do. How can hospitals allow this to happen, I have heard some negative things about Scottsdale Shea emergency, but I believe you can only go by your own experience. And my experience has been disastrous. Not to mention I have upcoming surgery scheduled with this same Hospital.
