My husband and I had our son here. The nurses and staff were great. I would highly recommend this hospital.

I had my first born at abrazo Scottsdale and it was a nightmare long story short one of the head nurses from lad tried telling what to do and who I could have in the labor room worst experience ever would recommend anyone stay away from this hospital

I aim giving one star because I can not give 0. Thia hospital disgusts me. My husband needed his 4th surgery. He has had 2 at a Thunderbird and 59th hospital ans one at maryville. I thought because we were on a better side of town this would be better. But nope. They opted out of surgery. My husband who just wanted dinner after not eating for 24 hours and didnt want surgery... was happy to eat. I was a bit more skeptical. They kept my husband, father of 2 with a full Time job in the hospital for 3 days .... to monitor him.. they never did surgery. His quality of life without it is not okay. He took all the prescriptions, 150 dollars worth and took every pill. He is not healed. He needs surgery. I will NEVER go here again. I wont take my so. Or husband here. This was the most neglect he has ever felt. Meeting a surgeon once a day and that was it..."oh let's keep an eye on it they said" ... 2 weeks later and we have to plan a surgery with someone else when he ready missed work and will need to kiss more work I have legitimately never been more disgusted with his treatment ever. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This has been one of the bear hospitals I've been in. All staff are amazing! The nurses in thr ICU have been nothing but kind to my wife and all her needs. They make thr stay as comfortable as possible both the patient and the family. Thank you! You guys do a great job! God Bless

Worst hospital ever. I went in for tummy pain and headache. I got taken back really fast. But was treated like dirt. The provider saw me right away and took the nurse an hour t see me. I told i couldn't take zofran and my nurse disappear for an hour. I asked to talk to charge nurse . Who came in and stated their important patients then me and my response was this is worst hospital. She said it was in called for and I was rude. Them disappeared I waited 20 mins and called nurse. The charge nurse states I unruly patient. Then I called house manager to where I hear the charge nurse states I am pain ASS patient and I aware of where I am so I'm fine and basically doesn't see why I'm here. So I asked to discharge bc how awful they were and never found out what tummy issue WAS about

Was just there with my son last night. The nurse used the biohazard bin as a “table” while she drew my son’s blood. I have pictures. Super disgusting and unsanitary

Went to urgent care, was told my husband tore his rotator cuff and needed an MRI. They sent us to this hospital. Worst hospital I have ever been to. Went in the doctor said he needed an MRI as well but then sent him for an X Ray. Came back said his bones looked good put a sling on him and sent him home. Did absolutely nothing to help.. Will never go back to this hospital.. the doctor and the staff showed no emotion, was very rude dr lawrence.. almost every room was empty waited hours.. now i know why the er was empty. This hospital is rediculious, someone is going to end up dying because of this place.

I was so disappointed for my last ER visit. The doctor had no clue what was going on with me. He was kind of Walmart doctor and did not know the answers, well then who will know my medical conditions..???

Our experience at the hospital for birth of my twins and recovery after csection was great. The help we got from the nursery was great too. Its sad that they are closing the maternity section .

One of the worst experiences I’ve had. I waited 30 minutes in the waiting room after being triaged. They alleged that patients needed to leave for rooms. Get to the back and see empty rooms. I’d been in a car accident so I wasn’t dying, but the Physician’s Assist had a horrible bedside manner. The inflammation had started and he ASSUMED I was there for pain medication... so while I was on the phone with the insurance company the RN came in and gave me pain and anti-nausea meds vía injection. I had already vomited twice. I asked what it was in the injection only to learn that it wasn’t what I needed. So I informed the RN I take pain meds as part of my regimen; I suffer in other areas from chronic pain. A few more tests... shortly thereafter the PA released me. He said no prescription for pain meds as I had “copious amounts” at home. I AM INCREDIBLY OFFENDED. I sincerely hope that PA gets a write up. Just because he didn’t pay attention or listen or evaluate properly and then felt like an idiot... that’s on him. Next time listen and hear the patient!

Had to ask the cna on several occasions to clean up my family member..I brought him dinner and she asked us why I didn't bring the grape kool aid

My girlfriend went there to found out if she might be diabetic or might have angina after months of having chest pain and wanting to just past out but all the basicly did was give her sleeping meds and send here home.

Out patient area is clean and all the employees are very friendly. My mums surgery went well and Dr.Palmer is amazing! If you are having OP surgery you’re in good hands. The nurses upstairs are a bit slow. If I wasn’t there my mum would have probably fallen plenty of times. Slow to respond to you when you need them. Regardless. Thank you to everyone for making this experience very pleasant!

The staff here took good care of me. Can't say anything negative about my experience here, they were great. Was here for a few days, ruptured my spleen from an injury falling on my dirt bike. I received top notch care . Thank you all.

They saved my brothers life twice!

If I could give the ER zero stars I would. Had an absolutely terrible experience - forgotten about for hours at a time, given minimal care, sent home with no answers, nothing to help my condition, treated like a criminal and when asking what could be causing my symptoms told "its a mystery." . They are rude and condescending and I would recommend going anywhere other than here for your emergency medical needs. You will end up paying a lot more in the end with having to visit other doctors and needing additional testing on top of the bill for the "ER"

For the last month, I've been on my extern at this hospital, 3rd floor telemetry, the PCAs here do such an awesome job taking care of the patients, they're all really sweet, I love it here! ❤️

I should have listened to the reviews. This ER is terrible. I am currently here and I rather leave and go to another hospital at this point. I've been completely ignored for hours. Edit: I was admitted after I wrote this and I would like to note that the nurses and doctor that treated me during my stay were fantastic. I was really sick and they did everything in their power to make me feel better and kept me comfortable.

I don't know why they call this hospital emergency room waiting for 4 hours and it's emergency woww

Went there last year for blurred vision along with headaches, the doctor came in said he wasn't going to do any test because he knew it was just migraines , so they sent me on my way with a $1300 bill, just a few days ago was told by my new doctor at a new place that I've had diabetes for the last few years, abrazo an the "doctors" are a bunch of jokes, they could've easily ran test and determined what was going on with me but instead they took a wild guess and were way off, don't recommend this place and the "doctors"

My fiancée ( who had a major back surgery years ago... Fell during building bridge ) So he doesn't have to go to the ER for pain... Since he already get his pain meds. 3/4/19 He was in some kind of pain! Not feeling good! So I took him to the PARADISE VALLEY HOSPITAL. He was discharged either same day or next day ( I'm losing my mind! I think they are going to kill him! ) gave him something for the pain. He's always in pain ever since his back was broken & had 2 back surgeries. He has everything he needs at home for his back problem. As soon as he got home He cried for pain that he never felt before he said " I'm scared! I never felt this way before! Feel like I'm going to die! " I feel so guilty that I've waited 2 days to take him back 4 am. I figured that Doctor send him home so I wasn't worried. Next day went to go visit him talk to a nurse she told me that he had PNEUMONIA! since 1st Doctor didn't catch that and send him home It got worse! They prescribed antibiotics after 3 days send him home. I know he's growing man! But they didn't tell us nothing! I had to google and found out the seriousness ! A few days he was looking bad... Looked pale, rashes, elephant legs+feet… He felled couldn't get up. Didn't recognize me... Talking nonsense He didn't even know where he was... So back to the ER. I should of have taking him to the different hospital! I didn't know any better. I trust Doctors! Never will! Now he's in ICU 2. Everyday I go there Always bad news! Everyday they're running some kind of test... One day tell me he has ????? Then next day he has ???? He has tubes going through his nose and mouth. I asked is he in coma? They tell me that he's very sick so they put him under sedation. It's been over week... Today they make me put gown and gloves to see him. Every time I asked how he's doing they said stuff like he's not young, the 1st Doctor should of known he had pneumonia. then it would of never got this bad... What is it mean? I asked if he's going to be okay... They basically telling me they don't know. Then who knows? I am so sad! I can't eat, sleep, all I do is cry! I made sure I left my phone # in case. They didn't even had it. Today I wanted to leave my # again they told me just write it on the board. I am so upset that I'm not even get into the other staff members rudeness... When he's out of it nurse ( drill sgt ) tried to ask him questions Obviously he couldn't answer...So I tried to help She turn around and put a hand on my face like I was a little kid... I AM SO SCARED! THEY GOING TO KILL HIM! I AM GOING TO TALK TO A LAWYER AND MOVE HIM TO SOME OTHER HOSPITAL! " HE'S NOT GETTING BETTER! BUT HE'S NOT GETTING WORSE! HE MIGHT MAKE IT! " THIS IS WHAT THEY BEEN TELLING ME. Oh! By the way nurse told me they needed it consent for the procedure ( don't know what???? ) we just go ahead and did it. Because he's out of it... Couldn't find anybody... Really? That's how they do things. WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HUMAN LIFE!!!!!!!!!!

When I first walked in the staff was rude, unfriendly, and very short and rude with patients! While the 2 ladies sat there and talked, there were 5 -6 ppl that went ahead of me. I then asked the ladies, why?! She responded, I'm not sure, it's the nurses call with the acruity of symptoms. I asked her, and mine isn't... When I went back to triage, she asked what I was here for, I said what the order says (from my doctor) she said, what order?! REALLY?! So, I waited all this time according to "acruity" cause the nurse makes the call!

I had an emergency c section at this hospital 2 months ago. I was treated very kindly and I have nothing but positive things to say about the nurses in the maternity ward! I was extremely grateful for the nursery available while recovering from my c section. The nurses were very prompt and friendly when I needed anything. I will absolutely be having my future children at this hospital! The only negative thing I can say is that when I took a shower the water never got warm. I did however, love that I could control the temperature in my room, as well as how large the actual room was! I feel lucky to have had a fantastic group of nurses tending to me and my baby in the maternity ward. When I have my next child, this is where I'm going!! I have highly recommended this hospital to other future moms!

Worst hospital ever! My grandma has been here for two days and she’s tired of being here. She doesn’t feel comfortable. The staff here is very rude, very unprofessional, they take forever to come to the room even though we called and called and even walked to the desk. No wonder their rating is at 2. Never again will I or any of my family will come here.

On December 2017 - $19,108+ BILL - After 1.5 hour visit to the ER room I got a $19,108 BILL, plus another $1691 to the doctors, and $1220 for three scans. I went in because on 12/19 I was in a light rear end, woke up the next morning & was double over with pelvic pain. Off to urgent care, they suspected I had a UTI. Two days later I got a call NO UTI. The pain worried me & I was afraid it would come back, and my doctor couldn't see me for another SIX days. I was so afraid to wait and figured the visit to the ER would maybe cost $3000. Abrazo's Lawyers have a lien on State Farm's settlement check. The lien is to collect $19,108. July 27th I get another bill from Abrazo that my balance is $1425, BUT now I have an additional $1425 to pay & the $19k lien won't be released. I have to deal with their Lawyers & Abrazo! In the end the Lawyers see th emoney Train. Wonder what's their CUT? There's a lot more to say, and I plan to come back to add later. The pain never came back. Abrazo's reporting I was a LEVEL 4 (LEVEL 5 is dying) and I walked in with a pain threshold of 7. Was this so the bill would make more sense? I was not in pain or nearly dying when I drove myself there & home! Also, the doctors diagnosed me with Diverticulitis & a UTI. SIX months prior my Gasterologist said there was no sign of pockets in my colon I visited her to confirm. I took my scans to a radiologist to review - he could not see my colon. Their attitude is that it's a business. So, here we are March 2019 - No Dverticulitis reoccurances, lawyers got close to $11K, and the bill I had for $1425 was reduced to $525. TWO BILLS! I've called so many times, asked for a supervisor to call me - NOTHING. Still stuck with $1220 for Scans & $1670 for Doctors. I don't even think this place is a hospital. What would you call this?

Worst hospital ever! Went with my daughter after my 19 month old had a head injury. She was vomiting profusely which is the first indicator of something bad. The not even doctor, rolled his eyes at us when we told him what had happened with her. He didn’t even look in her eyes, check her ears, he didn’t even touch her. He barely looked at the wound on the back of her head. He sat watching her as she continued to vomit massive amounts for a toddler. He gave her an anti nausea medicine and told us she had a bug. Two hours in, after she continued to vomit, he ordered a head CT and we never saw him again. A nurse told us it was clear and sent us on our way. No further instructions, no advise on anything. She is a toddler. These people don’t care about anyone. The worst medical professionals I’ve ever encountered. Will never go back there.

My 85 yr old mother was on unit 2 after her major surgery and family stayed with her everyday. We were very disappointed in the care she received by the nursing staff. Staff did not get get her up to walk, took them a long time to answer call lights, did not receive hygiene care and IV infiltrated which they decided not to take out. I would not recommend this hospital at all. The doctors were great and we appreciated the care from her surgeon Dr. Rhoades!

Went to the Emergency Room for left abdominal side pain after an urgent care sent me over. Got into a room pretty quickly after I arrived around 10PM. Saw the doctor pretty quickly too but the nurse was absolutely horrible. The doctor came into see me and the nurse came after him, seemed upset that the doctor was there and muttered that he would be my nurse and walked away. I didn't see him until an hour later when another nurse came in to draw blood and set an IV catheter. Seemed upset again that the other nurse was doing it and just walked out. After another hour I recieved a CT and I did not see anyone for two hours after that. I debated to asked if the results were in and decided to after two hours. I slowly walked up to the nurses station since I was in pain and he raised his voice at me and told me that the results were not in. I noticed that there were only three other patients and it just seemed really slow. I was by myself and in pain and I was upset. His behavior towards me made me cry because I was tired and upset. After another hour a guy from ultrasound came in and I had no idea that was even ordered. After the ultrasound I waited another two hours. With no care from anyone. I asked the nurse for water and he rolled his eyes and told me he would get some. There was another patient next to me and he was really compassionate towards him. Always checking on him and turning off the light so he could get some rest. I know that my reason wasn't great to go to the ER but I was concerned about my pain. At 5AM I found out that I had an ovarian cyst and was discharged.............seriously!? After all that? When I was discharged I had to remind the nurse that there was an IV catheter that needed to be removed which was never used so I don't know why that was even set. He handed me my discharge papers and told me to go. I asked if there were any medications since another nurse asked me what my pharmacy was and he told me to just take tylenol. I got lost trying to find my way out since noone showed me where to go and I was still clutching my side in pain. When I got home around 6AM after being there since 10PM I read my discharge papers and I had 3 different medications prescribed to me and the nurse told me to just take tylenol. This guy was a terrible nurse and I have no idea why he was so rude to me. My husband took off work becuase I was so tired and still in pain and also unable to watch our baby. Can someone please contact me from Abrazo about this? My experience was absolutely terrible and I really think this nurse needs to be talked to. I know this was a novel I am just so frustrated that it took almost 8 hours to diagnose an ovarian cyst and I felt like I was an inconvenience by the way I was treated. I wish I got the nurse's name but he never introduced himself but I can describe him if I am contacted. Please and thankyou.

Horrible service and staff. Asked for a woman doctor because of my type of emergency. And I got a Male doctor who got mad because I informed that I wanted a woman. He refused to help me and then told me I had to leave. This place need to be shut down. I would rather go to Thunderbird

Sam Luna

Only come here if you're white. If you're ethnic at all you will not get fair treatment. Only whites see doctors, the rest of us get PA's. I'm a witness right now. Old white gentleman got to see a doctor. He stayed in the room and talked to the gentleman. Me, a young Mexican American in severe pain, gets about a minute with a PA (which I saw one earlier today who recommended I go in to get an xray) who yanked on my hand and said it's fine and gave me ibuprofen. I am in severe pain, with an obvious injury (I didn't even have to point it out to the triage nurse, she could see the swelling) who needs to go back tomorrow and I'm offered ibuprofen. Not an xray. MRI, or even having a doctor look at it! It must be my skin why they won't actually help me. Last time I will come here and I think I might look into pursuing this farther. At some point this kind of discrimination needs to end. It's not 1968. **UPDATE** OH MY GOD. THE OLD WHITE MAN WHO ADMITTED HE DOESN'T HAVE MONEY IS GETTING AN XRAY IN HIS ROOM!! HOW MUCH MORE BLATANT DISCRIMINATION HAS BE OUT THERE BEFORE THINGS CHANGE

First and last time I will ever come to this sorry excuse of a hospital.

My family member was in ICU, one the nurses was fabulous the rest spent their time visiting, he was then moved to the step down floor where staff spent alot time socializing boarding on flirtation. He never received his lunch or dinner he ordered.

I was expecting to see alot of good reviews for this hospital as my experience actually exceeded my expectations. My mother had surgery here, they took us back at a reasonable time, the nurses were so nice and knew what they were doing, Dr. Sana made sure my mother was comfortable and the front office kept us informed throughout her surgery. I've never been to a hospital where every part of the staff was involved and seemed like they cared. I would definitely go back. Not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from but I would recommend based on our experience. They were all great.

If I could give zero stars I would. My mother in law went to the emergency room on Thursday at 4 pm at the direction of her doctor as her recent blood work said she was in kidney failure. My wife left the hospital at 8 pm and she was still not in a room. She was not put in a room until 9 am Friday morning. I went to visit at 2:45 pm Friday afternoon and she had been waiting over 20 minutes for a nurse to take her to the bathroom and move her bowels. Not until I went to the nurses station did she get assistance. I returned to the hospital at 7 pm with my wife and again my mother in law pressed the call button to use the bathroom and was not assisted until we went to the nurses station. This was at least 12 minutes after she pressed her call button. We visited again on Saturday around 1 pm. My mother in law told us she might be released today which we found unusual based on the state of her kidneys. We asked her nurse if we could speak with her doctor. After about a half hour she brought in her computer with all the lab results and advised us the numbers were still not good and she would be in the hospital until Monday. About a half hour later my mother in law had to use the rest room again and rang the call button. After 15 minutes my wife took her to the rest room herself where she found dried feces on her buttocks. After 25 minutes still no one had come to take her to the rest room. We then left the hospital just before 2 pm and by 3 pm my mother in law was calling us telling us she was being released. Remember, an hour and a half earlier we were told by her nurse she would be there until Monday. We called and spoke with her nurse who said she would have her doctor call us. Her doctor called us and said my mother in law did not want to stay there and her lab numbers had improved enough for her to go home but he would definitely authorize one more night if we could talk my mother in law into staying. Needless to say that was never going to happen. The doctor told me the nurse should have never told us that she would be in the hospital until Monday and he would talk to the charge nurse about that. In my 53 years I have never seen such poor and inept care at a healthcare facility. We only took my mother in law there because it is the closest hospital to our house. We will never go to this hospital again and neither should you if you have a choice.

Loved one went into Emergency Room this week. Efficient nurses, doctor, Radiology, and Lab. Very compassionate and skilled. Busy place but everyone appeared to enjoy their job with a smile or caring attitude.

Great place to work! Better place to receive passionate care!!!

Mike McMicken

Had a very bad experience. The triage nurse seemed very rude uptight not wanting to be at work that night the doctor didn't even listen to me and misdiagnosed something completely it was all around a horrible experience and I don't ever want to go back to that hospital. The person for registration is actually very nice but the whole experience was just awful I'm very disappointed in the service

The emergency room is a joke. My mom was unfortunately brought here instead of Mayo. She arrived by ambulance on a weekday at 5am, there were maybe 3 patients in there. My mom needed to use the restroom, after 15 minutes I get a someone to bring to bring her a bedpan. All I heard from the nurse is that he's busy. Then after 45 minutes of sitting on the bedpan I was able to get someone to help remove the pan. So they take the bedpan, the RN of course cab only keep saying how busy he is. She's left with her pants and underwear at her ankles and no one comes back. Again I call for help, only to hear how busy the stupid RN is. He was rude and unfriendly. This place has a horrible reputation, which is sad since it plays an important role in the community. It's a hit and miss with getting helpful staff. Most of them seem irritated or angry when asked for help. Her room is philthy everytime I visit. The hallways are cluttered with carts and other junk. It's noisy and unwelcoming. The only reason the FD dumps you off at this place is so they can get to the next run. I don't recommend this place at all.

I was recently admitted into the Labor and Delivery ward of this hospital to deliver my baby, and it was an outstanding experience. From the minute I was received by staff to be led up to the 4th floor, until I was escorted out with my newborn two days later, I received amazing care. The Labor and Delivery nurses as well as the recovery nurses and the nursery nurses were all amazing, kind, gentle, patient and wonderful. I would love to have any future babies at this facility. I couldn't have asked for better care and attention to my and my baby's needs. Thank you to all of the 4th floor staff!

Blue Evolution

Clueless and rude.

Athena Marie

I have had a few issues with the care given to my son and husband here, but all issues were addressed in a timely fashion by the director of nursing and I think as long as she continues addressing patient and family concerns, Abrazo can reach it's full potential to be a great hospital.

Shae Morris

My experience at this hospital was exceptional! I was well taken care of and the staff showed genuine support and concern. Thank you all who had apart in my care, I appreciate you.

Carlos Muñoz

Why does this hospital think it's in Scottsdale? It's miles away in Phoenix Arizona. Makes the facility hard to find especially if there's an emergency.

Lisa Stockfish

I visited Abrazo 3 times in one week (week of thanksgiving) because of an ectopic pregnancy. The first Doctor did a work up and refused to call the OBGYN on call to better diagnose. I was told to go home and wait it out. They said It may be a miscarriage or maybe a very early pregnancy, the don’t know. They just sent me on my way. 3 days later I’m admitted for what is believed to be pain from a miscarriage. Dr. Kang sees how much pain I’m in and yet I have to ask multiple times for pain meds. He had no personality and no compassion. I end up having Emergency surgery for the ectopic pregnancy. I got almost no after care instructions and no one explained any of the possible side effects from the procedure. I return the following day for complications from the procedure. Had I known what to expect I may not have had to return. I see Dr. Kang again. He gives me a very minimal amount of his time and once again, I have to ask for pain meds. Fast forward to the bill in the mail.... he billed me for a smoking cessation charge. I don’t smoke!!! And other than when they asked me if I do at check in, it was never brought up again. So not only was he cold, rude, and made me feel like I was an inconvenience...but he also is billing erroneous charges! Never again will I return to Abrazo. They don’t care about their patients. Not one person I came in contact with seemed to show any empathy.

Jessica Combest

I continue to ask myself how is this place even allowed to continue to operate and take patients. Here's what happened, my mom was found unresponsive by her car and was taken to the nearest hospital by ambulance which turned out to be this place. She was brought in at 4pm with her purse & wallet they were able to get all her insurance billing information setup right away but did not contact her immediate family (which is us) until 10pm meanwhile we are looking for her wondering why our mother has not made it home. Once we arrived they had her on the third floor, they had very little information to what happened to her along with the 5 hours she had been there. There was conflicting reports to her having two seizers while in the ER and for some reason they couldn't access the paramedics report. They also don't have access to link with with other doctors or hospitals to get medical records (they aren't part of that system was what I was told) but it took two days for them to explain that to me, I kept asking if they contacted her doctor and if had been there yet to see her. I gave them so much information on my mom's medical history etc. and they seem to type it all in, however ever time I came in they would ask me the exact same basic questions like who is her Doctor, etc. I felt like I was in a psycho ward. The one star is for the friendly nurses, however my guess is they are very new nurses and they are all still in training. I left serval messages needing the doctor to call me but never got a call but I did get a call from a nurse waiting to discuss my mom's health concerns but it turns out they were calling me about the wrong person!!!! They got their files mixed up. (concerning) I drove there waited, and waited finally talked to a doctor about my mom and she really didn't seem to have any answers and most the information the seem to have was wrong . I think the only thing they got right was her insurance company and who to bill. I just wanted her out of there. They never contacted her doctor (which pretty much shared the same parking lot and they never went over the results from her MRI. There is so much more I could share but feel I need to consult an attorney first. I am just glad to get her out of there and into a nicer hospital. We really appreciate the firemen and the ambulance guys that help save my mom's life that day but I wonder if they know how bad the conditions are at this so called hospital that they bring these patients to.

Matthew Schetter

Amazing care!! The outpatient surgery nurses and doctors are exceptional. Exceeded all my expectations.

Leona Garza

I was admitted to the ER one afternoon at 2 pm and by 4 pm I was in my hospital room. The medical and technical staff were professional, efficient, and caring. Even the food service called to see if I was hungry! This is the third time I've been in this hospital with my medical condition and it seems to me that the doctors and nurses have been as sharp and consistent as ever.

Alyssa Anschutz

Worst hospital i have ever been to ! Went in as a pregnant woman who had cramping for 2 days straight and then some spotting and all they tested me for was a bladder infection ! Didnt do a pelvic exam or ultrasound or anything just tested me for a bladder infection and then when that came back negative they just sent me home and told me its probably nothing !!!!

Louis Pfeifer

Took my father to ER. Worst hospital ever. Staff was rude couldn't get any assistance.. kept him waiting 30 minutes for his pain medication..kept him in his street clothes for 2 days never put on a hospital gown. NEVER AGAIN

They dont let you see your family in the recovery room and then make you share a room. There is no way to when there is another patient 3 feet away snoring all night. Most hospitals have private rooms. Forcing 2 patients to a room is not good patient care. Will not go back and would definitely never recommend this hospital to anyone!!

Received excellent care. Staff was very professional

We have been coming to this hospital for a number of years. The reason we kept coming back was because we were normally seen quite quickly. This time, it took an hour to make it to triage, ten or 15 minutes to go into a room and about 40 minutes to be seen by a PA. We had to repeat symptoms three different times, one to the nurse at triage, another to the nurse in the room and then again to the PA. Seems like a monumental waste of time. Not as happy as in the past with this visit.

I called today to enquirer about services and insurance the lady i spoke to didn't seem very nice. It seemed like my call was a big inconvenience to her and couldn't wait to get me off the phone. I did see that it had low reviews but i thought i would give it a shot. I wouldn't recommend even calling this place.

Horrible hospital my father was scheduled to go in to surgery for a gallbladder removal at 7:30 am we had to pay 5,000 we tried paying with debit card and we had a limit of 3,000 a day.. we wanted to pay the 3,000 and after the bank opened at 9 pay the rest and the billing supervisor didn't allow it because she wanted the full 5,000 so the surgery was cancelled and now my dad will probably have to have an emergency surgery because of this and now pay double & he has no insurance .. it is ridiculous that this happened when they were going to get paid! This place does not care about their patients or there health! They just care about MONEY!!

I wasn't sure what to expect after reading through the ratings, but I received top notch service from the beginning to end. Everyone was helpful and kind. My surgeon (Dr. James Chow- hip replacement) was amazing as was the anesthesiologist, who made sure I didn't react to the anesthesia.(Dr. Henry Sargent) Support staff was wonderful too...from the nurses Jill and Rebecca to name a few to the food service staff. ( I think they may have been quicker then fast food.) My only gripe is how they handle billing. Not only did I have to pay my deductible before my surgery, but they also requested that I pay my "maximum out of pocket." My hope is that I get my refund back before my other providers begin asking to be paid.

Dylan Drimmer

Didnt even attempt to help me. Disgusting. Should have read reviews first.

I’m sorry I wasted my time coming here ..left in more pain then when I got there The nurse was horrible and full of attitude If I could give this place zero stars I would I wouldn’t recommend this er to anyone unles you want to waste your time and leave in worse shape then when you came in.

I went once when I was sick. I was told I had a nut allergy. A couple days later I went to a real hospital and was found to have pnuemonia. My O2 was 72 percent. I should have sued this hospital. More recently my wife was admitted after surgery. The Vegan diet plan is non existent. Nobody knows that chicken is not vegan.

This ER is the worst. My girlfriend is in here right now with severe ankle pain and they aren't doing a damn thing about it. Basically just putting a band aid on it and sending us on our way. If you want to be taken care of I suggest going elsewhere.

Abrazo should be shut down. Still waiting for a supervisor to return my call. First GP at Abrazo improperly codes my lab work, causes collections to come after me for $2k, and it took Dr Trans office 18 months to correct it. Then original Abrazo Endo, Gina Matthews diagnoses me based on old labs. I inform her and instead of her going “oops, sorry” she goes ballistic, even going so far as to put a nasty note in my file (when she’s the one who screwed up) Then I see an Abrazo foot doctor (Jeffrey Copoloff) for critic pain, and 6 appts later he still hasn’t even watched me walk, just 2 attempts to send me to pill mills (pain management clinics) no thanks. Current issue: Doc Gutman agrees to remove my thyroid 2 months ago. Last week I’m notified that I have to pay him $225 prior to surgery. I’m on SSDI/Medicare but I can scrape that up. Fast forward to this week, Abrazo hospital calls to inform me that I must pay them $900 prior to surgery. She wasn’t sure if that $900 included the Abrazo Docs $225 and Abrazo designs it that way, so multiple parties can squeeze you without it looking like one company is doing it. I definitely can’t scrape up $1125 or even $900 before surgery. I call Dr Gutmans office back to tell them that it looks like I’m not going to be able to afford surgery, and instead of them delaying surgery she focuses on “either pay the $225 or it’ll be a $200 cancellation fee.” But I was never told of Abrazo’s full charges prior to today. That’s on Abrazo, not me. Abrazo need to tell patients what full charges will be PRIOR to their cancellation cut off window. Again, the fact that this happens tells me it’s by design, so you either pay them the big bucks at the last minute or you look elsewhere AND owe Abrazo $200 for canceling. No compassion at all, just another greedy corporation using last minute extortion tactics to squeeze desperate patients. I’ve been caught in the Abrazo web for over 2 years, but now formal complaints will be filed. Avoid Abrazo like the plague.

This place called a wound clinic is so much more than that. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they enjoy being where they are. They are so educated on what they do that it gives you full trust that they will heal you and be there for you. It is a place full of miracles. Dr Majeed is a very determined, intelligent, wise, kind, warm man. You are very blessed to have him and we were very blessed we had him and his crew. We cannot say enough about everyone and how grateful we are and how life changing this experience has been . Terri was always so encouraging and always with a smile. We LOVE you guys all so much. Have been here since 2pm this hospital suck the staff dont care of the people in there care the doctors nurses take for ever to help a person and if they want you to talk with a counselor well be ready to die waiting dont they know that they are asking for a person to give there time and once that time is gone you will never get it the hospital is quick to bill the insurance companies this place needs more time management for there staff and counselors to be waiting over 6 hours for this quack of a place. If we have to wait for a counselor to come talk to someone then there should be a law were the people should bill the hospital for waiting on there staff to do there job this hospital has no regards for peoples time that they are happy to waste after all they dont care they get paid anyways it's a money thing for this hospital it looks like they put profits before people the longer they keep in the hospital the more money they will bill you for so hi if you been here well enjoy getting your money stolen and for them make you wait a long long long time one of the head nurse here rigth now is in the wrong line of work I asked her what was going on and how much longer or if my girl will be staying over nigth the nurse had fit n called security after I asked to talk to her boss all I wanted was info this nurse has short temper

Have to tell ya! I had to go to the ER last night for a problem that I kept putting off so I went to Paradise Valley ER, now known as Abrazo.. From the time I walked in the building I could feel I made the wrong call. The first nurse I met asked me to step on the scale which they had 2, I asked her which one she said the small one so I started to step on one of those scale that U move the weight? anyway no no the other, then she was ready to take my pressure & etc, but another male nurse came in an took me back, I guess because I said I was having chest pain, but after the EKG everything slowed down.. I had to ask the male nurse if I had done something wrong to piss him off because the sorrowful face he had on made me very uncomfortable.. I didn't go to the ER expecting everybody to be jumping with joy! but I felt that they could have made my visit just a here more acceptable putting me at ease. I had noticed it wasn't just my nurse acting that way.. When I finally got to see someone again which turned out to be the PA I was told I had **Community-Acquired Pneumonia** and asked if I would stay overnight.. I asked about the problem I came in for to begin with, {we can't do} So I said yes I would stay.. Next the attending doctor came in and said I don't think you have pneumonia, but would like for you stay to observe your heart. With that I said no, just because one doctor said one thing the next said another, and the person that took blood samples on the first try messed up leaving some of my rich blood (lol) on the sheet, floor, and my pants.. I could go on but you probably didn't get this far & if ya did Its Abrazo hospital Bell Rd. Just one persons opinion. Michael

Thank you for caring about your patients, I would bring my family here for care. The doctors listen and only want the best for anyone.

I took my boyfriend to the ER for a suspected abdominal obstruction. We waited less than 30 minutes to get triaged and registered into the ER. The staff was friendly helpful and compassionate. After reviewing the results of a couple tests, it was determined that he needed to be admitted. The whole experience was efficient and effective, the employees were thorough when explaining what and why things were happening, the doctor asked questions and listened intently and encouraged us to ask questions and speak up if we felt things were not going the right way. There were two PCAs that went above and beyond being compassionate hard working professional personable and kind; Melissa who worked on the night shift on the 3rd floor and MacKenzie who worked the day shift on the 3rd floor. It was clear that the staff at Abrazo Scottsdale Campus were committed to excellence and providing exemplary customer service.

My wife had CAT scan after an accident, Cat scans generally run $2-3k, Google it. Our bill was ov $46,000 dollars. Rude staff in the E.R. and billig department, never again!!!!!!!!

Don't go here. I had seen my new dentist who caused unnecessary pain 3 times in less than a week. So I dont need their doctors to point out they are not dentist. When it's the middle of the night and your in pain you going to call your dentist who is not going to respond because he doesn't want to prescribe anything. Without seeing you. So first night I go get a nerve block works great I get sleep. Go to the dentist the next day who says I have a dry socket. Does nothing but clean it and talk about doing more work on Monday. I am moving into a new place. I miss work Monday in pain fever. I wake up in pain go for another nerve block so I can go to work. The doctor misses the area. I think it's a P.A. last name shannon. I will check and give her credit for her inability to know what shes doing. I did tell the nurse oh it takes awhile for it to work. No it doesn't it's to numb an area. Happens within minutes. I'm still in so much pain I leave my groceries in the cart. I call the charge nurse. Who says I have faith in our doctors ability. She then tells me if you want to come back in that p.a. is off at 6 so it would be a different doctor doing a nerve block but, her doctor she has faith in did it right. No I won't go back to an e.r designed to treat my pain that has not offered anything but a nerve blocker. Not something for nerve pain, a steroid to help with inflammation. They are as bad as the dentist who gives me more of the same meds I have that dont work. I know I had tramadol a month or so ago my crown fell out exposing the nervr. Ibuprofen, advil aspirin irritate my hernia, acid reflux, tylenol liver problems but they never asked for my medical history I should keep going to the same dentist who cut into my gum for teeth that weren't hurting to make money according to their P.A. no I wont. I had a dentist who I thought was getting authorization to address the problems I have. I got a sales call from her advising me she no longer took my insurance but offered a plan that would save me 30%. While these licensed people do what they want I end up in pain over doctors not wanting to prescribe anything affecting their livelihood but, they can leave me in pain affecting mine. Update the medical director said it's the doctors call on how to treat patients. So knowing this has been going on for 2 years. I get left in pain. I call the DEA both sides recorded. They suggested I report my dentist and this doctor to the appropriate dental and medical board. They cant and aren't allowed to tell a doctor what they can prescribe!!! I will take the DEA's advice.

More like 0 stars. Right off the bat i got attitude from the front desk. He requested my i.d. so i put it in the slot and he told me to fill out the paper and sit down so i did. He then left my i.d. in the slot and walked away as another patient walked in and was able to see my information. The nurse brought me back and i was never told a name. Then while telling her my symptoms that she asked about she interrupted me to say you can just tell the Dr. The P.A. walked in and again no name was given. I was just told I'm the P.A. then when telling her my symptoms she stared at me blankly and when i stopped her response was o that's it? The lady doing registration (faith) was the only pleasant person and only one who introduced herself. Very unpleasant experience and i will definitely not return or recommend this hospital to anyone. P.A. just walked in and asked if the medicine worked and as I'm answering says ok we will send you home with some. No tests, no nothing really. I feel like this would be a druggies heaven. No tests and just given meds. I'm still at the hospital now and hope it gets better. Praying it can't get any worse!

I went right from work to ED I have a hx of asthma and valley fever pneumonia. In the past if I’m given meds to take home they’re too weak I always get worse and end up hospitalize getting the meds intravenously. I told them this, they found I had pneumonia by X-ray and gave me some wimpy meds sent me home with no rest instructions expected me to go stray back to work....now I’m worse and on my way to a hospital that gives a damn Del Webb sun city west! Oh and as I was finishing getting dressed calling my supervisor crying because they weren’t taking me serious the RN came in and told me “hurry up we need the room” I’m filing a formal complaint.

Jason Lynn

My wife was in the hospital I call security to go to her room security told me I'll be down in a minute I waited an hour had to contact security three times the staff need to deal with the response time already stressed out about my wife being in the hospital on top of that had to deal with this with the security

I hate this place. They should be sued for malpractice. I went through this years ago with my daughters birth and now I’m going through a billing nightmare again. I cash pay for my services because I do not have insurance. And they bill me anyway! And when I have signed papers with proof that I am a cash rate person and proof that it’s already been paid for they charge me anyway and when I refuse to pay the bill they sent it to collections and make double the money. All they say is we will review it, and that’s what they say for every single bill. What good is this signed copy and proof that I paid the cash rate if they don’t honor it. They should be ashamed to keep allowing their billing department to keep doing this. Never ever will I go to this hospital for absolutely anything again.

Daisy Garcia

The night shift hospital staff sucks they are very unprofessional and talk bad about all patients. Instead of making you feel comfortable they make you feel very uncomfortable. Worst hospital ever.

Antonio Carbajal

I had an amazing experience at Abrazos, they delivered my baby and all the staff and personnel were very attentive and professional. They have very knowledgeable nurses who know what they are doing with years of experience, they assist you and your baby when needed and guide you through the steps on the how to's on becoming parent.

Amanda R

Waited well over two hours in the ER the triage Nurse was very rude and did not make me feel welcomed. I had a very sick baby that was running fevers The hospital needs a remodel and a good cleaning. Staff treat patients very bad no respect at all especially for my baby.. will never ever go to this hospital ever again even if there was a fire.

I came into the facility with inner ear problems that are causing vertigo. The PA that seen me said she was going to do a throat swab and run tests. She never did.. And the RN said I will in a while because I was nauseous... he RN was rude when I was asking what RXs they were giving through my IV. I know of 2 drugs I was given. I have no idea what tests were ran with the blood they took and what the results were. When he gave me the Benadryl through my IV he said I would feel warmth in my groin area.. When I reacted he laughed and said yea an old lady thanked him and that she had not felt that way in years. SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND MADE ME UNCOMFORTABLE. When I asked about the testing they said I was being diacharged. With a SINUS INFECTION. I have no sinus pressure no mucus or anything. I dont even have to blow my nose shouldn't she have looked in my actual nose?? .. They discharged me with nasal spray of all things. When the RN that was discharging me told the RN that was in charge of me that I was complaining he said something about pain meds... The PA did not even look in my nose!!! NO NOT EVERONE IS AN ADDICT SEEKING DRUGS!!!! They wondered why I was frustrated??? I have no idea what tests were ran after a blood draw. I have no idea if I have an UTI, which I gave a urine sample for. The incorrect diagnosis were at discharge. The medical plan that was issued was never followed through with. They told me I needed to see my PC.. Said nothing about an ENT.. Which is a speciality provider who would give the best care with ear nose and throat issues. DO NOT GO HERE THEY DIAGNOSE YOU WRONG AND DO NOT FOLLOW WITH WHAT THEY SAY. Not to mention in the bathroom they had a chair to assist people with using th e restroom had crusted blood on it. Disgusting and they worst treatment ever!!! Rude staff and medical plans are not completed.. I'm reporting this because I now STILL need to find out what is wrong with me not a GUESS.. Now I will be billed for seeing someone who dianosed me with something they made up and never checked for!!!!

I gave birth here a year ago. The hospital was clean and my food was always delivered on time. They had a bed for my family which was really nice. When I was admitted the staff was super nice and would check on me often but when I was transferred to a room 2 nurses were rude and one of them was as if she hated being there, she got mad the moment she saw me bottle feeding my baby. The lactation specialist only came once for about 5 minutes and never came back. They didn't even offer me a shower until I asked. The experience was not great.

Came in through ER. Met with immediate care from wonderful caring staff. , I also visited Med/Surg; Pre-Op; OR; post op;ICU; Tele; Medical 2nd fl. I and my family couldn't have been more impressed and surprised! I knew the "PV Hospital of long ago". It is a new Day! Ranked, in my opinion, among the other high ranking hospitals in the valley. I am visited as a patient to all the best ones. Hospitals are made by the nurses- well the best and most dedicated are found here! I thank God I was sent to this wonderful compliment of nurses and doctors. Who, happened to save my life- and it wasn't easy for them.

Dr. Jason Kang was extremely rude to me in the ER, I've been bleeding for 3 days, won't stop, tried to explain to him of what happen and what was going on, was told to get out of the ER and go home or back to my own Doctor that can't see me for another 7 days, I honestly feel that he didn't care and didn't want to hear about anything that was going!!! I feel like I was Highly Discriminated against, and will never, NEVER go Back!!! Also when asked if I could talk to his boss, Dr. Jason Kang said "I'm the boss, over the ER, I don't have a BoSS!!!"""""

DOCTORS AND STAFF HORRIBLE. Serious lack of communication which lead to my father getting very sick and dying. The nurses are nice, and great people. The doctors seem very cheap, I wish my father had gone to Mayo this was just the closer hospital and now he's dead. :( I had one request tell me before you give my dad new drugs. Next thing ya know the doctor tried some random new medicine on him without asking me and bam, kidney failure ! Now he's dead :( Never again. Stay away!!!!

Mary Lou Callan

The nurses and staff are fabulous in this hospital. I was taken care of in an extremely personal manner. Thank you to all of you.

My husband went to the ER for chest pain, Tom the nurse treated my husband with utter disrespect. My husband was scared that he was having a heart attack and was anxious and abrupt. When I got there and asked questions to be updated, Tom was blah about the whole ordeal, as my husband moaned in his room. After a while I went and asked for the doctor and the charge nurse. When Dr. H ---- (didn't get his name) walked in, he had an attitude too! No compassion, never sat down to make my husband know what possibly they were thinking. (Pulmonary embolism) Earlier My husband refused the fentanyl they wanted to give him, and that made him a bad person. He refused because it makes him really abrupt! But, when the charge and I convinced my husband to take something for pain so he could get relief and make better decisions, oh no, the doctor was not going to give him an opioid! Are you kidding me! I used to work here for 8 years!!! Never will I, my family or neighbors ever walk through your doors again. Dr H...large and tall, bedside manner along with short round nurse Tom is a lot to be desired. No service recovery will fix your broken care. I feel sorry for the good staff like Maravic the charge nurse and all the ones who truly love what they do. I gave one star and that is too many.

I am a transgendered man that was admitted to this hospital yesterday for abdominal pain. Within an hour I was in my room, given meds, and triaged two hours later with appendicitis and being prepped for surgery. I have had the unfortunate lot in life to experience a lot of ER visits on Phoenix, Mesa, Northern Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Glendale. This was by far the best care I have ever received. The staff was so compassionate and knowledgeable. This was my first surgery, and my surgeon was so good I feel no pain and was eating solid food with no issues within 5 hours of my surgery, which is the best outcome you could ask for. They helped me with everything, including filing for access because I am unemployed. I honestly felt like every single person I encountered treated me like a how they would treat a friend and family member in the same situation. I would recommend this Hospital to anyone over the immediate ones in the Area. Mayo Clinic and Deer Valley North are especially heinous. Thanks for everything folks!

Robert L Simmons

I had excellent care following my abdominal hernia surgery

I came to this hospital at 530 on October 15th due to pain being caused by a bilateral pinched nerve at my L4/L5 that aggravates me every few months. I told Dr. Kang what was going on and that this has happened before and how I was treated. When this happens I am given the following: anti-inflammatory (was given ), a muscle relaxer (given), pain meds and a steroid. I was discharged at 645 in the same amount of pain in my left leg that I came into the hospital with. The pain was bad enough for me to be wheeled back on my arrival (after asking for a wheel chair though the entire front staff saw me struggling to walk in the door) rather than walking. The fact that I was not listened to at all by the doctor about my condition is just absolutely insulting. Being a person with chronic pain (degenerative disc disease and fibromyalgia) I think I know more about how I need to be treated than a doctor who saw me for about 2 minutes. He may have a degree but the man doesn't live my life everyday. He just assumes I am a drug seeker. (Though I refused a prescription for a muscle relaxers and told him I don't like to take opiates outside of what is given to me at the hospital) If this is the way your doctors treat chronic pain patients when they come in for help when what they have done hasn't worked, you need to find new doctors. Abrazo may have taken over PV Hospital but the treatment of patients is the same. The fact that I'm going to be billed a ridiculous amount of money for 2 minutes of this man's time (regardless of insurance), he ignored me in regards to how I have been previously treated for pain and how I know what treatment is needed. I understand it is an emergency department but people with chronic illness' should be treated the same as any other patient that comes through those doors. Next time I will go a hospital father away to actually get the help I need. Awful, awful way to treat people that have a chronic illness. To whomever responded to this. Don't bother looking into it or getting back to me. I know how these places work. It is my word against his and he is going to cover his own ass to ensure he keeps his job. I have dealt with enough doctors like this over the years and nothing gets done. This is why chronic pain and illness patients hate having go to the hospital.

No Star. This was at the Abrazo Medical Orthopedic Specialist Clinic. Address 3811 E. Bell Road #309. Was referred to Dr. Vanderhoof to see a possible infection/cyst on my left hand middle finger. He walked in, not once came near to see my hand. From 3 to 4 feet away he sat and said "Is it a pimple or is it a tumor? What do we do? Do we pop it? Or do we wait and see what happens?" .. pause.. "What do you want to do?" I said "Your the Doctor" then he answered "I would wait and watch it." Once I told him I was concern about the pain he said he would get an MRI. I called Dr. Agha at the Central Campus for him to refer me to a diferrent doctor and had me come back to see me. They see that Dr. Vanderhoof requested an MRI on my Right Hand when the problem is on my Left Hand. This was probably cause he did not even bother to see my hand before telling me to wait and watch what happens. I missed a day of work for that. I strongly do not recommend this doctor to anyone. Now with Dr. Agha as his and his teams concern they are trying to get me into surgery today due to they see and strongly feel it is an infection connected to the joint.

Frustrated with the PA I saw last night. I brought my infant into the ER center due to leakage from her eyes (yellow pus) and her eyes being swollen shut after waking up from the night or naps throughout the day. On my chief complaint I wrote: “Eye drainage, Swollen eyes, Itchiness of the eyes, pulling at her ears.” The front desk was great and helpful as well as the nurse that assesses your trauma. Once called back after 45 minutes, we sat for 30-45 minutes before anyone checked on us other than the gentlemen who checks and verified your insurance and what not. (And he was WONDERFUL). Once someone came in, they did not introduce them self or tell me who they were or what their job was. (Little did I know it was the PA) Asked me, “what is going on?” I explained to her the symptoms. She listened to my infants heart and peeled her eyes open while she was sleeping (There late last night). She did not do a full exam, which is weird to me since I had an under 6 month old baby in front of her. She did not tell me the diagnosis. All she said was, “I’m going to prescribe erythromycin. You should have discharge papers shortly.” And she walked away. Another 20-30 minutes went by and a nurse came in to hand discharge papers to me. I said, “So what is she diagnosed with?” The nurse said, “Oh, she didn’t tell you? Conjunctivitis.” Then I said, “and who did we just see?” The nurse said, “Oh she didn’t introduce herself. That’s the PA that was in here before me. Her name is ....” No one informed me of what the diagnosis was/meant, no one bothered asking if I was a first time mom or familiar with the virus. No one asked if anyone in the family has had any allergic reactions to the medication, which there has been (found this out after when asking her dad/family). No advice/information was given to help me out with my infant. Front desk was great! Insurance recorder was great! Frustrated with the PA’s lack of professionalism. I am in the medical field as well and I would never enter a room without introducing myself, and thoroughly discussing a diagnosis. Not impressed and will make sure at future appointments/ER visits, my baby will not be seen by that PA.

I wish I could put negative stars, if it’s mental health go anywhere else. Its a hit or miss on if you’ll get a compassionate understanding nurse or someone who will shame you. On top of this the doctors wont spend a millisecond longer you absolutely need in your room. I had several nurse who were amazing and wonderful, however I had one male nurse take advantage of my mental state and his ability to physical over power me and then hide behind the law of not being able to hit nurses. I dont believe this hospital has any interest incorrecting th behavior of their staff. These staff member are use to aggressive people who need to be restrained (allegedly) and so thats their solution to a patient with PTSD. I can promise I will make this the biggest deal and tell everyone I meet I was chocked and dragged through the ER department while seeking treatment for my PTSD. And I would be interested if the hospital will step up and pull the security footage, find out who it was, and maybe even ask me how to improve physciatric help in their ER. Because I was humiliated and dehumanized throughout my stay. The patient security officer came by and taked to me about my review but made no attempt at finding out who chocked me. I never once fought back I was only saying to my social worker that I wanted to talk. He grabbed my upper arm, I spun my arm as in to break his hold, then he put his arm around my neck and dragged me while getting my feet out from under me. So I couldn’t breathe. Once back to my room three men surrounded my bed, I’m a 130lb female, no on can tell me thats not excessive or that a female should not have been present. Not only do I feel this hospital is unsafe for physciatric patients, but I will never return of let anyone I care about go. Also they use third parties to evaluate physc patient so they have no control or idea whats happening.

Worst hospital ever we lost our baby at this hospital because of the service my wife star bleeding where we are at the waiting room and going to take us to the back to keep Us for more than an hour and a half before they can come in and just to put in an IV to my wife so we end up going to a different hospital And they could not believe what happened at this hospital I won’t recommend this place to anybody

If I could leave no stars I would. I don't have insurance and they basically pushed me out the door. Told me I might have a bleeding ulcer to explain the blood in my stool did a pregnancy test and sent me home. They did no other tests, wrote me a prescription for ant-acids, and didn't even explain what an ulcer was to me what causes it or anything. It wasn't until I googled it that I fpund out it could be deadly. It so sad to have something wrong with you and you get it maybe this and heres the door. I was scared and looking for answers. All I got was an we don't care more fear and more questions. You people need to remember you are treating people not some lab rat!

This place is horrible. Cocky, arrogant doctors who don't listen to their patients. Especially if you aren't insured they do the minimal amount of effort just to get you out the door. Do yourself a favor and do NOT go to this hospital, even if you have to drive a little further. Never again.

Horrible hospital, extremely rude. Gave birth there and they were rude to me the whole time. I wanted to deliver all natural and they told me I wasn’t allowed and I had to have pain meds, the one that made me really loopy and not know where I was. They didn’t let me hold my hubbys hand at all, they made me hold my own legs while pushing and didn’t let me use the Stirrups or hubby hold my leg. Didn’t let me see baby get first bath. Didn’t let me have my placenta. Forced me to go to a parenting class right after giving birth or they wouldn’t release me. Unprofessional. Rude.

Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Brandon Gough performed my hip replacement here last week. Every single member of the surgical team, every nurse, the hospitalist and kitchen staff were friendly, competent and made my experience EXCELLENT! I have a second hip replacement scheduled in a few months and am delighted it will again be at Abrazo Scottsdale Campus.

This is the WORST hospital possible to deliver in. Ignorant„ judgemental and highly inappropriate staff hover over you and incessantly nag about irrelevant detail such as how many blankets u have... meanwhile visitors can easily sneak thru to the labor recovery / nursury section. Absolutely horrific treatment.
