I'm appreciative of the care that me and my family received for as long as I can remember, but the bad experiences i've had with this hospital outweigh the positive ones.
The quality of care is fine, but the friendliness is lacking, the professionalism is sub par, and the process is very outdated and tedious.
1. I've had private messages between members of my health care team leaked on the internet, available for me to read. The way they discuss patients is discouraging at best.
2. I've been belittled, yelled at and scolded for asking questions to their "Human Resources" specialist, during a time where I was on the brink of becoming homeless. No advice, no help, just scathing comments. There's no sympathy to people whatsoever, and they treat people insensitively.
3. Absolutely no support or care from a Primary Doctor for a family member of mine, who is going through major life changes due to old age and Dementia. We had to suffer and struggle alongside this elder by ourselves since 2016.
4. Four pediatricians held my younger sibling down and poked her inner arms, wrists and ankles for 1 hour straight when she was a pre-teen, trying to get a successful blood draw. She's been traumatized ever since and has severe PTSD and panic attacks associated with doctors and needles.
5. One receptionists hung up on my younger sibling who was trying to make an appointment, and on a different occasion, I requested an appointment for one week later. It was scheduled a month later by "accident" by a different receptionist.
6. My health anxiety, social anxiety and depression is continually met with the copy-paste answer "drink more water, get more sleep, exercise, it's easier than you think, just let it go" kind of attitude from Behavioral Health Counselors. It wasn't until I started talking about a "serious" issue that "mattered" before I could get a referral to see a specialist for my issues, and for my issues to be taken seriously.
7. My digestive issues and my food allergy suspicions are routinely ignored and belittled.
Most of the time it feels like i'm being a hassle when I call, arrange appointments or see my primary care provider. Because of all my bad experiences I've had, I never look forward to calls or visits to this hospital, and I always feel drained when I'm done.
This place gave me a bad impression of doctors and health care as a whole. I don't feel safe, reassured or taken cared for.

But here are some positive reviews too.
1. They call back on time and do their best to communicate
2. They have accurate reminder calls
3. My Pediatricians did their best to help support me and my parents when I was going recovering from scoliosis surgery
4. I was given referrals to their Physical Therapist when I complained about stiffness, and I was given lots of options for exercise
5. Always clean offices and lobbies
6. They have a cool healthy food program every Friday
7. Lots of other programs and activities
8. A good website and a fairly easy to use messaging system to talk with your health care team
9. They have nice elevators
10. They have consistent phone numbers through out different offices
11. Their paper work specialists know what they're doing and helped me get Medicare and got me on Foodstamps really quick when I needed it
12. It's easy to call and schedule or cancel appointments
