I never liked getting my hair cut growing up so it's been a once a year operation, but for the past eight + years I've been going to Duncan Edward and have walked out extremely satisfied each time. Even after living out of state, I make sure to schedule an appointment when I'm back in the area because no other hair cut can compare. To sum up - great service, awesome stylists, and a wonderful atmosphere even for those who were weary of their trek to the hair salon.

I would not recommend this salon to my worst enemy. I heard great things about this salon so I decided to give them a chance. I told the stylist what I wanted and I did not get anywhere near what I wanted. My stylist was rough and was in a rush and Compeletely messed up my hair. I paid ALOT of money for it too, very disappointed! I know a lot of clients who go there too and I will definitely be recommending them elsewhere!

You will never get what you want. I couldn't. I went there to have lighter hair and it is darker than before now. They don't have medium colors. It is either too light or too dark. One day after my visit, I am still crying. I have a hair color which I would want to have 30 years later. Don't go there. You will have weird colors.

Duncan Edwards is the best. This is a great place for all ages. Duncan Edwards specializes in hair cuts, coloring, highlights, low-lights and creative cuts that will work best for you. Remember, just because a haircut looks good, it doesn't necessarily mean it will look good on you. Duncan's staff can help direct you to the perfect style for you and your hair type. I would follow Duncan to the end of the earth to get a hair cut from him. You can't go wrong with this group of fantastic and talented stylists! p.s. My stylist, Natasha did not listen to what I wanted at all and was very rude. She didn't block off enough time to finish the updo, so she passed me off to another stylist which defeated the purpose of going in for a trial for my wedding day. I now have no idea if she will do what I want on my wedding day. When I asked Natasha if she could pin my bangs back, she said "Girls with big noses don't look good with their bangs pulled back like that." I was in shock. I called to report this and the owner said, "We spent alot of time on you, so I can't offer you a discount on another trial". Extremely overpriced for the poor service and lack of skill.

I've lived in Milwaukee for 8+yrs and I continue to drive the 75+ miles to get my hair cut/colored here. The salon is amazing & I've NEVER had a bad experience. I had a horrible experience. I was under the impression that my hair would look a certain way because my stylist had hyped me up for it. She had told me she could do it. I showed her my dark hair color and the lighter color that I wanted and it came out worse then what I could have ever imagined. She rushed through everything and didn’t even finish blow drying me. She stopped 15 minutes before they close and then disappeared on me. I was also told a certain price on the phone before I came in and I was charged more with the horrible job that she did.

i’ve been to many hair salons in town, and all ended in disappointment. this time was different. after 4 years away from hair salons, i decided to try Duncan Edward based on reviews. i went in for partial silver hair color. and this was my first time having my hair dyed. i’ve dark chestnut hair, which took time to bleach but i loved how it turned out. it was exactly what i wanted. Casey was exceptionally friendly and easygoing, and made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed the conversation and professionalism. He thanked me for coming both in the beginning and at the end. the salon itself is beautiful and clean. it has a charming vibe. the staff is welcoming. i got compliments from different staff members. they served coffee multiple times. i also got a discount coupon with chocolate at the end of the session. i truly loved the whole experience. thank you for the excellent work and chatting Casey!

Have got my hair cut at many different barber shops and salons in Madison, and this is the only place that has consistently given me a hair cut I was happy with. The experience is very nice as the stylists are friendly, talkative and seem very experienced. Overall a little pricey but so worth it best hair cuts in Madison.

Outstanding service and haircut - left looking fresh. I have really thick hair, which isn't always the easiest to navigate, but the few times I've been I've always received great attention to detail and left feeling confident with the new trim. Staff are super friendly and I'd feel comfortable visiting with anybody there. I've had the same hair style for about a decade and with one cut from her she's changed my style in way that wasn't out of my comfort zone but still made me feel confident and beautiful!
