Upon going to this salon, Jennifer was very helpful, friendly, and listened to me. She discussed exactly what she going to do before she even started. I'm writing a review for Glitter Hairsalon from my husband's account. May I mention first that I had a wonderful experience beginning to end. I was scheduled to have my haircut with one of Jennifer's associates but instead Jennifer cut my hair. It's been approximately two months ago, on a Saturday afternoon but as I remember we had inclement weather and Jennifer was so courteous as to give her associates a day off. Jennifer personally called me and gave me the option to still come in or reschedule. I was excited and desperately needed a cut so I made the decision to still come in. When I arrived Jennifer was so welcoming with her genuine smile and personality. She was a delight to be around! I'm sure that her team is a delight to be around too. Glitter Hair Salon totally saved my hair that was highly inappropriate for work being a neon red. Thanks to Jennifer that works there; she transformed my hair from crazy red to a much more natural tone of violet. My hair feels much, more healthier than before I went into the salon! I'm amazed at my transformation and their decor there! It's so pretty and a very stylish layout! Aside from hair they also offer manicures, pedicures, facials, and massages! Beautiful salon. Kind, talented people. Extremely reasonable prices. What else could you want in a salon?! Emily is AMAZING! After moving to the area, I spent a lot of time trying to find a salon where I felt comfortable. At the time, I had a mid-length angled bob and struggled finding someone who could make my extremely fine, straight hair look good. After seeing pictures of their work on Facebook, I booked an appointment with Emily right away. The entire staff is seriously the best. Everyone makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. I've only worked with Emily, but have seen Jennier and Teia's beautiful work in person and am incredibly impressed. Emily is without a doubt the best stylist I've ever worked with. She's AMAZING at taking my ideas and images and giving me exactly what I want. I've seen her about 6 times in the past year and half and walk out thrilled with my hair every single time. Today was my first time at Glitter Hair Salon and I absolutely LOVED IT!!! I went from straggly, long, "hombred"(yes I mistakenly did it at home) hair to beautiful healthy hair with caramel high-lights and low- lights,which I absolutely love. Jennifer Cooper cut, foiled and styled my hair beautifully as well as making me feel comfortable and special all while maintaining a professional atmosphere. I have soft, wavy, very thick hair as well as an extremely high density, but surprisingly enough Jennifer concurred my hair with ease. And did I mention she waxed my eyebrows. Generally I have not liked big, "frou-frou" salons, and I have found small salons to be gossipy. However Glitter Hair Salon manages to keep the professionalism from larger salons while keeping the personable touch that comes with a small salon. They manage to do so without drama and gossip. I truly recommend Glitter Hair Salon to everybody!! :) So lets all get GLITTERED!!!!

I found this salon on a whim.I loved the name and thought let's give it a go. I AM SO GLAD I DID. I can't say enough great things about Glitter...First, the shop is absolutely beautiful and always clean as can be. From the time you walk in to the time you leave, the girls of Glitter are beyond accommodating and welcoming. I have been to other salons and have felt out of the loop and I have never felt that way in this place. Secondly, the prices are beyond reasonable and you really do get what you pay for. I know some people balk at the prices of salons, but let me tell you this salon makes it worth every penny. You see the difference in not only the talent of the stylists here but also the quality of the product. Finally, my stylist from the start has been TEIA, and i cant say this enough: SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. I brought a picture of what I wanted and she walks you through everything that is gonna happen. She is willing to hear your opinion and i appreciate her advice. She goes above and beyond to make what you want to become a reality. You can always count on her to listen and make you feel like a million bucks. She is so sweet and I love going to her and seeing the beautiful color and cuts she accomplishes. She is has brought my hair from blah to fabulous and I would recommend anyone to go and try Glitter and ask for Teia. You will not regret it. Thank you Teia for making my hair look amazing;)

I'm always a little paranoid when getting my hair cut and especially when finding a new stylist. I did my research, found lots of great reviews for Glitter, saw some nice work on their website, so I decided to give them a try. I wanted sort of an alternative style cut with lots of layers and razoring. I spoke to Jennifer (the owner) about it while making the appointment and she recommended a stylist for me. She also said that if the stylist or I felt worried that she would be happy to give a consultation to make sure everyone was comfortable with the plan. In the end BOTH stylist ended up cutting my hair. My stylist Emily hadn't done that sort of layering on longer hair before and wanted to see how Jennifer would do it. Emily did a great consultation, was very upfront and honest, super friendly and polite. Because of this fabulous teamwork and cooperation, I feel like I got a really great hair cut! Love the drama free atmosphere. And apparently they're constantly learning, drawing from each other, and continuing education in hair - which is the way it SHOULD be! I'm looking forward to seeing Emily again in the future, because I'm pretty sure I've found my permanent salon

I went in with about two inches of roots that needed bleached, and left with an uneven result. My roots still don't match the rest of my hair even after bleach and toner. For $120, you'd expect a much better experience. I'm not satisfied at all with what I left with.

At the end of the workday I had a pre-cut meeting with the owner to discuss my desires. Jennifer even offered to stay and cut my hair that evening. The day I came in for my appointment I was very pleased with the professionalism, competence, and overall impression of the salon. I received the BEST cut I've had in over 12 years!!! I have thick hair and have been cutting 2-4 inches off every month or so since arriving in WV, just hoping to fine a salon that can properly thin and style my hair. Well, I have found my salon and hairdresser!! YES! totally recommend this salon to anyone who suffers from super thick hair that also has cowlicks and swirls (aren't I special?) and cannot find a trustworthy hair stylist who will not only listen to you, but is extremely competent in her trade. I am new to the area so needed to find a new hairdresser to color and cut my hair. I used reviews to help me decide on the Glitter Hair Salon so I made an appointment with Jennifer. I now feel I have successfully made the move as I have found a great person to do my hair, Jennifer. The Salon is clean and professional. Jennifer listened intently as I described what I liked done with my hair. She offered suggestions if I asked and we had a nice time going over what she would do. I didn't feel like I was rushed like I have been at other places and she made me feel she would do what I really wanted. She also is gentle and careful. The coloring was the best I have had as she was able to keep my highlights and match the color very well. The cut was great also. After setting up my next appointment I went out feeling wonderful.
