Everyone here is wonderful, I've known Teeder (the owner) my whole life, and everyone else for years! Never had a bad experience!

I just had the strangest experience. I had an appointment to get my haircut and colored. I have very curly hair and a very tender head. I asked a stylist if I could brush my hair out myself and she said no. She said it’s a liability in case something happens with the tools. She said nobody asks that. I said it does happen because I just asked you and I’ve been doing it my whole life. She said I’ll do it I get paid to do it that’s what I do. I’m like OK, so I let her “comb” my hair. She actually only picked at the bottom 2 to 3 inches, sort of. Odd. Then we started talking color and she said it’s very complicated. You’ll be fighting this lighter color forever. I tried to understand what she was saying. She asked if I understood I said no, can you say the different way because it’s not making sense to me. What do you mean I’m fighting my color? She said it’s very complicated and I can’t do it for you. That’s not something I know how to do. She said I could cut your hair but I don’t want to color it. I asked if there was another stylist I could speak with about my desired color. Nope nada. I’m out. I almost feel like I’m in the twilight zone or I’m being punked or something. If your lucky enough to get Sheila, she is the greatest hair stylist. She LISTENS to how you like your hair cut and styled. She delivers! She has been cutting my son's hair for 20 yrs. Very satisfied.

Wedgewood Hair Studio is a wonderful place, lots of good, friendly and energetical assistance, great hair dressers and I have never experienced being ignored. Perhaps the person giving the review should have stood up, gone to the front and asked when and who was going to be taking care of them? Prices are great, help is friendly, great product and very TALENTED hairdressers, what more could you ask for.

I went here due to the recommendations I read online. The only reason I am even granting the 2 stars is the pitiful looks I got from other staff over my cut and blow dry. I could tell they understood how bad it was. I have never had a cut and blow dry so bad it made me want to cry but this one did. I was even sprayed in the face with hair spray more than once. I left the shop and ran to the first place I could find that took walks ins to get it fixed. It meant my hair is now 2 inch shorter than I had wanted but at least I can be in public without embarassment.
