I usually go here but today I walked in at 445. None of the staff , three of them and they all saw me walk thru the door, bothered to say 'hi'. I sat for 15 minutes until two staff were finished. The first continued to sit behind the counter and converse with the previous customer. The second seemed to piddle around with paying and didnt bother to ask if I was there for anything. I figured I wasn't going to get service anytime soon and I left. I looked in the window and the first customer sat back down in the chair AFTER PAYING and she and the first staff member just stared at me out the window. Whomever was the senior person needs FIRED. crappy customer service from this portion of their staff. I've never had such service from here that was soaked with so much suck.

I had high hopes for this place. The stylist I had was very nice, my cut wasn't horrible but not what I asked for. I brought pictures in of what I wanted both cut and color were way off..... for my color I wanted a caramel blonde look..I already have darkish blonde hair....I asked for dimension to my hair and the stylist just bleached my hair and toned it so I left with very blonde hair...not even remotely close to the pictures...it was horrible. I did mention it was a lot lighter than I was expecting..and no dimension at all...she said I could come back and get it toned some more to make it darker for free but while she was finishing up my hair there was another stylist talking bad about someone who was needing their hair fixed and was willing to spend the money that the stylist quoted her which was extremely high priced. The stylist was very negative and saying she just had to open up her mouth to helping this person all while having a client in her chair and loud enough for me to hear as well... I found that very unprofessional and a turn off to saying much about my hair and going back and getting it fixed from them. There was one stylist who kept telling clients how she was drinking the night before... just not a very professional place and I'm very surprised they got whidbey best salon of 2018.

I took my 3 yr old grandson in for a haircut because the last time he had one was here and the stylist was great with him. Today before we even sat down the stylist said "i dont think this will work". He hadn't even fussed at this point. He became fussy and i was trying to calm him down. The lady looked at me and said "i cant force him to let me cut his hair". We had not been in the seat trying for even 5 minutes. This was a huge disappointment. It actually was shocking the level of lack of effort and trying on the part of the stylist.

My hair stylist was awesome, I think her name was Roxy. I changed my hairstyle for the first time in almost a decade, and I was EXTREMELY nervous. Roxy took the time to talk me through the whole process and get my input every step of the way. She let me play with it, and took into account that I don't style my hair (at all) while choosing the style. Very happy with how it turned out, and grateful I had such an awesome stylist.
