Fun place for kids to have a haircut. The staff are friendly and my 2 year old son has started to enjoy his haircut. He loves the cars and the balloons at the end.

Super noisy due to a large birthday party in progress, but it didnt stop the stylist from keeping her attention on my little one and making her feel special. Best to book an appointment on the weekend or you'll have a wait. Video games, toon channels, movies are available to your child during their cut, clever trick to keep heads forward and still. The stylist finished with braids and a sparkle of fairy dust, my child was in heaven.

Probably a bit over priced but the staff are nice and it's more fun for the kids than a regular hairdressers.

Took my toddler son for a haircut and had the worst experience. The hair stylist just gave up midway and said she can't do this as she had a long day. I think while I appreciate anyone having a bad day, she was surly from the beginning. The staff attempted to mediate the situation asking if we were willing to wait for 10 mins to have someone else finish the cut, but we decided to skip it. We are likely to retry the place. But, it's true - it's really setup for a kid to be comfortable. And my son was super excited about sitting in the car chairs. Guess we just had a bad day.

A fun place to take your kids for a haircut. The staff is fun, the chairs are little cars, and they have baloons and candy for after the cut. Make an appointment because they are busy.

My daughter loves coming here. All the stylists are great at working with a wiggly, often uncooperative preschooler. She enjoys having the car to sit in and the glitter at the end. Her favorite part is getting her nails painted after her haircut. We have even gone in just for a manicure! Great place for a haircut!

We had the best father/son haircut experience for our little guy’s first cut. At 14 months he’s all over the place but our stylist was so friendly, patient, and effective at giving him a great cut and make the whole process fun and painless. We’ll definitely be back!

Great facility. Coolest haircut cars in town. And that's where the positive notes end. Stylist was a rookie with kids & was not communicative. She appeared to dislike her job and was not particularly good at it. Tip: don't expect a 2 yr old to look at their lap for prolonged periods so you can trim their neck. Especially when you've put on a personal tv for them that they have to look up to see. Turn off the tv and put toys in their lap. Viola, they look down! All the other kids cuts places seem to have this figured out. Haircut did not look good; we will take care of the necessary touch up at home.

We had an all-around fabulous experience having our two-year old Henry's hair cut for the first time and would recommend this hair salon to all parents with kids both young and older. It was so cool inside I almost wanted to get my own hair cut too! Henry had fun and was not traumatized by this experience: now he has been talking about his haircut for days. We definitely will be coming back for Henry's next haircut.

I am not fully satisfied as I have to guide through my son's haircut. Even they do not have restroom with newborn changing table. So if you plan to go with a newborn take a mat in case you need to change diapers.

Its a Great hair Salon for Kids. My Nephew had a great time. Tey is a great hairstylist she has taken care of my nephew really well. The haircut looks great on my nephew. The whole crew working there was very welcoming. I would definitely go again and recommend anyone who is looking for a great haircut experience for there kids. Keep up the Good work :)

Open at 4pm on Monday, but with no stylists for some reason. I was told it would be two hours before anyone would be available to cut my child's hair. Why have the door open if you cannot provide your advertised service?

Very kid friendly. Lollipop vat at the door, gaming systems galore, toys, books, glitter galore. The cuts look amazing and because my kids love it here, I'll bring them time and time again.

We've been taking our daughter to this place for a while (nearly 2 years). Even after we moved from Shoreline to Bothell, making the drive to Ballard Sharkeys nearly 40 minutes, we kept on coming. Sadly we were turned away today since we were "more than 10 minutes" late! Yes - it is our fault that we are late. However 1. You have to be absolutely clear about this when you set the appointment. According to the staff, this is a new policy. In any case, if this was mentioned during the appointment, we would not have made the 40 minute drive, just to be turned away. 2. If this is a new policy, it would have been nice to do a warning period. We have been loyal customers (our daughter, for the past 2 years, never had her hair cut from any other place) and would have appreciated a warning. 3. Today is such a bad traffic day (Perhaps Ballard and Greenwood avenue is like this on rainy days! I don't drive in this part of the city very often so I would not know) . It would make sense to be lenient on your policy for such cases. For me it's time to find a different local place for kids hair cuts. Make sure to ask about their late policy at appointment time and do not be surprised if you are turned away for being 1 minute over whatever the permissible late time.

This place is great for kids haircuts in Seattle! I booked an appointment for my cousin and she got the best hair cut here. The hair stylists were very kind and they were very playful with my cousin. They will entertain your kids while cutting their hair. Not to mention, they also have toys, tiny cars for your kids to sit on and enjoy, and video games for the older kids like an Xbox. Take it from me, this place is worth the money! I would highly recommend this place for kids who are in need of a haircut!

Took my son here for his very first haircut. Simma (sp?) cut his hair and she is wonderful! She made sure he felt completely comfortable and wasn’t traumatized, scared or even phased by the entire experience. She made him a cute first haircut scrapbook page, saved a Locke of his hair, took a before and after picture, AND gave him a balloon and a Lollipop. I will be taking my son back here when for his next haircut

Definitely over priced and the Stylist worked with my son was rushed and trying to finish the haircut very fast. Over all it wasn't good experience for us and next time I will try somewhere else.

Helped the little one I nanny get a haircut here the other day, and the first thing I noticed was how crowded it was and hard to navigate with a toddler. The staff were great, and the cut was great though. My one major gripe is that there was nowhere to change a diaper. The entire space was full of people walking or sitting, so I asked to use the restroom. We got let into the bathroom in back which is shared with the Top Pot Donuts place, and I was baffled that there was no changing table at a place that caters to children. Please fix this!

My son is diagnosed ASD. When I made the appointment I made them aware of what things will send him into a meltdown. They did a super job we got a haircut a balloon a lollipop and all was great. Would recommend to anyone who has difficulty with their kids haircut. Instead of a mirror he got to watch YouTube so the haircut he could not see happening. Thank you Sharkeys

The hair stylist was excellent! She was calm and attentive, and had great ideas for hair styles. The girls got to play video games and watch a show while getting their hair done. Afterwards, the hair stylist (Waunisha) gave the girls a manicure and a balloon. Overall the experience was above and beyond, and I highly recommend it.

We love this place. It has cute "car" chairs for the kiddos, nice staff, and they do extra touches (after asking) like glitter and scents, or a couple braids. They do a very professional job on my 2-year old's hair!
