I walked out without even getting my hair cut. When I called to make an appointment I was told that they could do my hair in the dark purple to lavender ombre that I wanted and showed up to the appointment only to be told that they couldn't do anything even remotely close to that. I was told it was "too hard" and while I know it wasn't going to be a quick process, on the phone she said it would be fine. They also only had magenta hair color, not the lavender, and couldn't do anything but the solid color. Mind you, this was the same woman i spoke to on the phone so it's not like someone peomised it for someone else. I was straight up lied to on the phone and she had the audacity to anythings what else I'd like her to do. I politely declined and now I'm going to find a salon that won't lie about their abilities and expect me to still want their service. It was the most unprofessional salon I've ever had the misfortune of walking into. Thank you for wasting my time.

Not a fancy place but Sue is a good as anyone I've had a Gene Juarez in 20 years for kertian treatments and hair cuts. And because its not a fancy salon price for services are REALLY great! Love love love this place.

The woman who did my hair (the owner) was very friendly. The hair cut went great until we got to the bangs. I have front bags that are straight across my forehead. They had gotten too long and needed to be trimmed. I indicated to her where I wanted them cut to. She ended up cutting them much shorter than I was comfortable with by about an inch. They were also very uneven and I ended up having to fix them when I got home. I didn’t complain or say anything because I’m polite and didn’t want to be rude. My guess is it’ll take a month or more for them to grow to an acceptable length.

I had such a perfect experience at this salon! The prices are definitely amazing for what you get! I'm always a little intimidated by hair stylists but Sue was SO sweet and the environment was very relaxed but professional as well. I will absolutely be coming back!

Another great haircut by Sue! I've been getting loads of compliments, which is fun. Also had a wonderful color, adding slightly more red, plus a Keratin treatment. I always enjoy my time at Ideal.

I'm a middle aged guy with thinning hair and thus I get it cut frequently. I look for a barber (or hairstylist) that offers a fair price and great service. I can't recommend Sue any higher. She cuts my hair perfectly, listens to what I need and simply does a great job. She's very flexible in scheduling (and has opened early to accommodate me multiple times) and takes walk ups. I can't give her a higher recommendation. She's fantastic!

Not a fancy place but Sue did a wonderful job with my kerratin treatment. She was extremely thorough and I've had 1 treatment before this one. Sue did a much better job and my hair looks and feels amazing. I will be back for my next treatment when it's time. If you need a kerratin treatment, go see Sue!

I decided to look for high rated salons in the Edmonds area since we recently moved from Bellevue. Ideal salon came up under my google search. Since I had no referral, nor did I know anything about the salon or the owner Sue, I was kind of taking a chance. Boy am I glad I did !!! Sue colored and cut my hair with such precision I was amazed. She is a master at her trade and it clearly shows. I am very pleased with my hair and will now be a regular customer at Ideal salon. Thank you Sue!
