Hands down, no questions asked, you HAVE to go see Geena. She will transform your hair into its best possible self. She uses styling and care techniques that make hair feel healthier and look better for a longer period of time, and will build a long-term relationship with you that is focused on keeping your hair healthy and beautiful. Geena has seriously done what I didn’t even think was possible with my flimsy, ultrathin hair. I didn’t think it was possible for a haircut to be so good, so PERFECT, that my hair could look spiky and sexy and AMAZING after being under a hat and squished to the back of a chair all day. DON’T. MOVE. SOMEONE GET THE HAIRSPRAY AND PRESERVE THIS MASS OF BRIERY SEDUCTION FOR ALL TIME. When I went in to see Geena for the first time and told her that people usually buzzed my sides with number 4 clippers to make them short enough for my liking, she said that my hair would look better and last longer if cut exclusively with regular shears going forward and NEVER clippers. I was very skeptical of this unconventional approach to hair cutting, but figured I would let her do her thing and see if she could get a number 4 result using shears. HOLY DAMN YOU GUYS MY HAIR LOOKED MORE BALLER THAN EVERY NUMBER 4 CLIPPERS JOB I’VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE COMBINED. SERIOUSLY. And as my hair grew out over the following weeks, it NEVER got shaggy or unkempt and STILL looked and felt EPIC by the time I came back TWO MONTHS LATER to get my next haircut with her! That’s another thing: my haircuts last almost THREE TIMES LONGER than any others before this. Before going to Geena, I couldn’t go more than three weeks after a $50 salon haircut because my hair was so shaggy and split-ended and felt like something a horse would eat. I now go in every TWO MONTHS, and even then my hair looks and feels nearly as fresh as it did when first cut. I also NEVER GET BAD HAIR DAYS ANYMORE: my hair is consistently much softer and more pliable and is altogether much easier to manage. Don’t ask me how she does it. I don’t know. It’s magic on par with Mr. Krabbs’s secret Krabby Patty formula. Geena is not just a hair stylist; she’s a haircare specialist as well. She knows exactly how to make hair its healthiest and keep it that way, and it has to do with how it is cut as well as the products used to treat it on a daily basis. So she WILL inquire about the kinds of hair products you use, and may go about shearing you in new and wondrous ways of which you had never heard tell before. But you won’t be sorry. Oh no. You’ll actually be downright relieved that someone FINALLY has hair figured out and can take that responsibility off your shoulders, literally and figuratively.

Geena is extremely friendly, outgoing and passionate about hair care. That being said, I didn't feel that my haircut (August) was anything spectacular. My one main concern I communicated was ensuring that my hair was long enough to pull back into a pony tail and she left me with this one little section of hair that took 3 months to be able to fit into a pony tail.

Genna moon isn't a hair dresser.. shes a stylist! She'll take someone's physique and style your hair to bring out your best features. Shes very experienced and does more than an amazing job. She'll bring out your best look while engaginging you in sweet conversation. Shes very genuine and sincere. She'll not just be sincere with you but will also give you a lot of amazing education. She knows the ins and out of all the professional products and will always take you in the best direction. She has a very competitive rate thats worth every penny!

Geena is AMAZING! I would highly recommend her! During my appointment with Geena, she talked to me about my hair and how I should color and cut it since I had no idea. I am happy I found her. Geena is amazing because she has been in the industry for a longtime. I love that that fact that I never have to think hard about what I want to do with my cuts or colors . She knows what I like. My Asian hair is difficult to work with especially when it comes to color but she does a fabulous job.

I am always open to suggestions for my hair. I went in with really long boring hair and she told me what would be easiest to manage and look the best. It was a little shorter than I expected but she knows what she is doing and I am glad I went for it. I used a Groupon and ended up paying over double the Groupon price with the extra fee and tip but it's worth it for a great haircut. I'll be back for my color asap, so happy to have found a good stylist in downtown Bellevue.

I would definitely recommend Geena. She really cares and does take care of your hair the best she can when you are at the salon. She listens to what you want with your hair. I had a cut from her and it is way better than my previous cut. My hair feels lighter and has a lot more movements to it. If you live in the area, go check her out!

Just had my hair cut few weeks ago, she's amazing and really listens to what I want., walked out with a great style and I am really happy with the way my hair looks. She seemed confident in her skills. However, there was not so much consultation, or communication. She spent barely 10 seconds listening to what I wanted, and 1 second looking at the pictures I brought. Then she started lecturing me about how it's impossible due to my Asian hair texture. (It was a simple hairstyle that I had other stylists done in the past.) The haircut turned out to be just OK, and the price was high. If coming in with Groupon, be aware that there is extra charge unless you have very fine hair above shoulder. With the extra charge and the tip based on the total price before coupon, it's pricey.

Geena is really great if you communicate what you want with her, I essentially gave her a set of parameters and let her do her artistic thing. I found her extremely friendly. The only downside is that it is kind of pricey, thank goodness I had a groupon for my first visit. You do get what you pay for though.
