I had Stacie cut my hair - and I think her first consultation was very good. first haircut pretty good for $150 but way over priced following and lack of attention to detail or outcome with following appointments. As well, I found Stacie's personality off putting - very haute and sort of full of herself vs. respectful to customers and other people's differences. In the end I decided for a way over priced haircut - I should better enjoy being around my hair stylist than I did with Stacie. Unfortunate because I do think she is talented with a good PR person who has bumped up her online reputation - just would have liked to have had the content of her work meet the hype even if I'm not out an LA runway, famous nor amongst the very Rich. I was hoping for a great haircut experience and a bit of style transformation - and found myself disappointed.

Wonderful salon. I’m new to the area and Sarah not only gave me a great cut & highlight, she wrote down a list of area restaurants and places to visit and made me feel totally welcome. I brought my 3 teenage daughters and they loved Sarah too.

Stacy is the owner of the salon and a super talented stylist and colorist. She attends shows to keep up with her craft and always up on the latest products and trends. I highly recommend Stacy for her sombre baliage, as I constantly get compliments on mine.

Had my haircut here by the owner and instead of her spending time asking me what I wanted she tried to up-sell me the entire visit, said I had frizzy hair and needed a separate service for that , left 150.00 worth of product at the front and when I went to check out they automatically assumed I wanted them, when I questioned why the bill was so high for a haircut the receptionist went down the total and listed off the products that they had recommended? In the end they cleared from my bill... I had another appointment for a different service and person, decided not to go to that cancel and they kept my deposit as a in salon credit? Be warned this place is a first class rip off!

I went to Bowie Salon and Spa after I had a horrible experience at another salon. Everyone at Bowie treated me so nicely and was generally concerned about my bad experience wanting to make it right. My stylist had a mess to deal with due to the fact that the salon I previously went to died my hair orange and left me with chemical burns on my head. But she performed a miracle and now my hair looks great! I can't thank them enough! I will never be going to another salon again.

The worst cut and color I've ever received. Stacy was rude and unprofessional. I went because I googled "Best Salon in Seattle". I realize now that the owners themselves must have put a lot of work into Google Adwords, because there is no way that this is the best salon. It's not even a "good" salon. Save yourself a lot of grief, don't go.

I LOVE Olivia! She's been a mind reader. She always keeps my look fresh and updated while making sure that I'm genuine to my "look". She has a great sense of style and the atmosphere is fun and relaxed. I highly recommend this place and definitely ask for Olivia!

Stacie is far more concerned with her own best interest than she is for her clients. You would think that for the amount of money ($500/foil)she charges for her services (even though her staff/assistants do most of the work), that she would make sure you are absolutely happy with it and it ended up how you wanted. She treated my wife very poorly and was incredibly condescending. My wife went there to get "the best Seattle had to offer", but ended up having to go to another salon afterwards to get her hair corrected. Just want to let people know that if they go to Bowie Salon, they should be aware that Stacie's time is worth more than yours and you will not receive the special attention you would expect to be standard. I think the Queen needs a reality check. She's only as good as her last review...

I actually found this place through yelp and I love it. The staff is super nice and I always feel pampered when I come here. Kayla does a fantastic job with my hair I have never left disappointed!

Salon Bowie, has an amazing secret weapon that I call "the hair sommelier". I am a 42, no fuss, no maintenance, no product kind of woman. I grow it, cut it off, donate, repeat. I recognize I have beautiful hair that lets me ignore it, with one caveat, it needs a good cut or it will frizz or be too heavy to lay nice. Scott is fantastic, I've come here for years, the first time I explained bad experiences/concerns and what I wanted out of my experience; to relax, possibly nap, get a great cut with someone that will push me a little and that I can defer to their expertise with no maintenance routine, I have other things I'd rather do. Tall order maybe, but he is great at pairing me with a stylist that can deliver what I want in a great experience to boot. Thank you for that, getting in the chair confident that I'll come out looking great is awesome!

Pushy, expensive and unkind. For the 750.00 I spent this is the absolute worst salon experience of my life. When I complained to the owner I was not taken seriously and he actually blamed my virgin hair. They should be ashamed. No Scott i do not have the wrong business, Stacy and her work, leaves much to be desired

Saw Jane for a full sombre and haircut. She was amazing! She understood exactly what I was asking for, and her recommendations for hair care at home have really changed the way my hair feels in an amazing way. The products are very high quality and really did make a better change in my hair. The front dest was very attentive and super kind. Immediately as I walked in I was greeted with a smile. I would 100% recommend bowie salon to anyone who is looking for a new stylist.
