We had an amazing first-time experience at Tiny Textures. I called them last minute for a first haircut for a wiggly 2-year-old, soon to be 3-year-old. The salon is in a great location and the inside is gorgeous - very colorful, bright and open. The receptionist and owner were warm and friendly. The stylists were talented, genuine and upbeat. They were so patient with my son. I only had a picture and zero experience with kids hair cuts, but the other reviews put me at ease and she replicated it to a tee. They offer tablets and snack to the kids, among other things, to keep them busy. To top it all off, it was so affordable. I didn't even check the prices coming in, but I was shocked that you get that level of attention and care for the price. The before and after speaks for itself. My son has 3B curls and is biracial. Highly recommend!

She gave me lots of tips for hair care, and my daughter loved the braids too! We will definitely be back!!

This place is freaking adorable and very accommodating! I was in a crunch and needed one of my flower girls’ hair done last minute. I called before business hours and no one answered but I got a call back! Allison was super sweet and asked the stylist Leah to come in early to accommodate us! That’s what you call great customer service! She did a beautiful job on her hair and the price was reasonable. They even agreed to touch it up for us on the day of if it got frizzy as she slept! I was also impressed with how well they work with children by making them feel comfortable and reassuring the parents they would keep the hair healthy. They even give tablets to the children and have a very kid friendly set-up with a nail station as well! I would highly recommend this place!

With three girls who have three different textures and lengths of hair, trying to provide long lasting, age appropriate, and flattering styles was a tough task for me. Regina has not only made the hair styling process an enjoyable one for my girls, but under her care, their hair has grown and is significantly healthier due to the protective styling the have. I have twin 9 year old girls with a lot of hair. Doing 3 heads of hair every week is extremely time consuming. I finally started taking the girls to the salon at different days and times in order to get their natural hair styled or braided. I was literally at the salon for 6-8 hours per child. 1 child was in the chair getting braided, her twin sister, 5 year old brother and me would be waiting on the couch until she was done. I will not leave my daughters at the salon by themselves so feeding and entertaining them became stressful. I found Tiny Textures on a facebook recommended site and decided to give it a try. After reading the reviews I went online and booked their 1st appt. Everything was done on line in 5 minutes. I received an email w/in 24 hours stating a rep would contact me regarding the appt. Regina (the owner) called and gave me the “virtual tour” of what I should expect from start to finish. So this review doesn’t end up being a short novel I will say HANDS DOWN THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Shaqeita was her stylist and showed up 10 mins early with everything, including a hydrologic chair for my daughter. I was sooo pleased with the professionalism, hair knowledge, work ethic and most importantly; Shaqeita continued to check in with my daughter to make sure she was comfortable and that the braids were not too tight for her tender head. I love this service so much I scheduled her twin sister that night to get her hair done. FYI-they also have combo appts that allow for 2 kids to get their hair done at the same time. The prices are very reasonable and you are able to add on services if you wish. Thank you Regina, Shaqeita and Tiny Textures for giving me my time back. No more saturdays spent at the hairdresser and stressing out over hair. I would recommend Tiny Textures 1,000 times over.
