I made an appt with Mani and needed a root touch up and thats exactly what i told her. My natural root color is medium brown and i had gone completely BLONDE a few months ago and loved my blonde hair. Instead of doing what I asked, she highlighted my blonde hair and colored my hair dark brown. I mean damn!!I was in such shock I didn't say anything and called her when i got home in tears.The only thing she offered was to color it again.I requested a refund for color only and she refused. I still don't know how my bill was $175 when I only ASKED FOR A ROOT TOUCH UP!!!!! I am still in shock and feel like she should have given me some type of refund instead of offering to fix what she screwed up........Never again!!!!

Absolutely love Mani! Found this salon when I was looking for someone that did Brazilian blowouts. She did so good with that I decided to ask her to do some low lights and highlights along with a cut and style. I get sooo many compliments on my hair now and she is the only one I'll let touch it now. I have thick, long, curly hair and she does amazing things with it. My daughter was very happy with her cut and style. It was definitely the best cut she's ever had. Manivahn was very nice and took time to discuss my daughter's hair type and various styles with us. I liked that she suggested good products to use but that there was no pressure to buy them at all, unlike other salons. She is a very good stylist. I have difficult hair and am always nervous to try someone new, but I am going to have her cut my hair as well.

I haven't been happy with my hair for a while so I decided to try a new place. Was able to be worked in today, went without a clear idea of what I wanted other than a haircut and to keep it roughly shoulder-length. Mani took care of me, super-stylish cut and she made my superfine hair look like it has body. So glad I took a chance going somewhere new!

I only came here because there was a Groupon for a blowout and it claims to be a salon that specializes in natural hair. Every time I’ve gotten a blowout, it’s always followed with a flat iron because I have natural black hair. Today, there was no flat iron included. The website also mentioned a free hair cut for first time customers. I didn’t know that could not be combined with the Groupon. A flat iron would have been $15 extra and the cut an extra $20. So ultimately I did not save any money using the groupon. I declined the extra charges and walked away with puffy hair that I could have accomplished myself for free. Nice salon and hair stylist, but not happy with the results.

In November I had a family emergency and badly need my hair done. My regular spot was closed. Manivhan was near my home so I called to make an appointment. Mani took me right away. She was professional and courteous. I had requested a silk wrap and hair cut. Everything about her service was on point. My hair looked fabulous. I than returned to her for a Brazilian blowout several days ago. She remembered me and gave me excellent service and treatment again. No matter what type of hair you have from the coils to the silky straight Mani will hook you up!

The owner of this salon is very rude to people and gets very upset if someone complains about their services. Apparently she is also involved in the spa business. This is what she wrote about what I guess is her competitor (otherwise why would she write this?): "Avoid castle spa at all costs. They used to be laura spa but got shutdown. Same things going on.....be careful." How would the owner of a hair salon know these things? I would not want to be around if she ever gets into trouble if she is doing what she is writing about. Could you imagine being in the hair salon when trouble comes calling????

I scheduled an appointment here and still had to wait over 45 minutes to get my hair done. She was overwhelmed and had a hard time telling others that she's was busy. I would have came back if had known the delay. I wanted a bob cut where it's shorter in the back and longer in the front with layers. I'm not sure what happened but I got an undercut and it was very uneven in the back. I went back the next day because I hated my hair so much and asked her to fix it. She didn't even notice what I was pointing at. It was very apparent what was wrong. It was rather a frustrating experience. I just went and got it cut somewhere else to fix everything because I wasn't going back a third time to chance it. Maybe its noticeable in the picture!

I went from blonde to burgundy! I was definitely in need of a change for myself. Mani absolutely nailed the color spot on, from the picture I had shown her. I was going to Mani even before my color change. She would give me that golden blonde with highlights and lowlights to make it pop! Everytime I would leave the salon my hair was soft, shiny, and full. I enjoy our conversations as she makes me feel comfortable enough to vent about anything lol. She'll offer you snacks, drinks, and even a phone charger when your phone is low on battery. I love the cleanliness of the bathroom, and the setup of the salon. It's a very friendly and positive place to be. The staff are all so friendly, and everyone gets along with each other. "Also" there is music with up to date songs to enjoy, and even sing along to. The owner of this Salon posts hate reviews on Google under the name Tad J. Just look at her other reviews. Here is what she wrote about another business in the area: "My husband go there 3, 4 times very weeks for over years to have sex with this woman ". Do you really want to patronize a business whose owner writes such things online? She also gave her own salon (this one) a false 5 star review! Scroll through the reviews and you'll see it is true. From what other people have posted, this owner does not honor Groupon coupons used to lure people to her business and then fights with people when they give her fair feedback about her services. That is no way to run a business!

I went this morning to have my hair permed after not having been to a salon in over 3 years, and I absolutely love the results!! I chose Manivahn based on the good online reviews, and I'm glad I did. Mani greeted me warmly and took the time to make sure she knew what I wanted. Perms take a long time, and Mani checked many times over the several hours I was there to make sure I was comfortable. The level of personal attention I received was superb! The perm itself turned out great, and I am very happy with my new look. Mani answered my questions about how to care for my new curls and recommended products when I asked, but never pushed anything on me. It was a very relaxing salon experience (a real treat for this mom of 4!), and I will definitely be going back!

RUN AWAY!!! This is the WORST hair salon I have ever been to and I have been coloring my hair for decades!!! I had a HORRIBLE experience at this salon!!! My hair was destroyed by the owner. I asked for highlights and lowlights and even gave her the formula used by my previous hair technician from my previous home. She over processed my hair to the point it fried it and turned it white when it should have been a honey blonde. When she cut my layers, she "shredded" my fine hair vs cutting. When I came back the next day for her to fix my hair, she STILL didn't couldn't get the color anywhere close to what I asked for! Because she shredded my hair, I asked what could be done to help fix it. She recommended a keratin treatment. It didn't help at all and she actually had the audacity to charge me for the treatment! Unbelievable!!! It has taken a year to get my hair healthy again!!! I do not recommend this salon!!!

Finally! A great men's cut! I have struggled to find someone who could give me a simple men's hair cut. My hair is wavy, and my head is lumpy, and a nice fade with decent length sounds simple, but so many stylists botch it. Mani cut my hair this morning, she was amazing, I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she not only gave me the hair style I've been going for, but she made it fit my face shape and it is that much more flattering...
