Bought a Groupon! They added more charges without informing me $50. I had nothing extra done! My highlights didn't even come out like highlights. My hair was cut crooked and when I came for them to fix it . They were to busy to help me. Told me to come back some other day. Had to go somewhere else to get it fixed! When I had my hair cut properly, she said it was the worst cut she had ever seen. She had to cut a inch in a half off, to make it right. Advice, stay away from this place!

I’m new to Va Beach, it’s always difficult finding a new stylist in a new place. I found Hair Graphics on Groupon. They were offering a great price on Brazilian Blow Outs for new clients. I made my appointment with Tasha. Very happy I did. The salon has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Tasha was very nice, she did a great job with my hair. I’ve already scheduled another appointment for hair color.

Came in for a haircut, and deep conditioning treatment. She had amazing Feathering techniques. I left with my hair having more texture, and shaping at end of my locks. The deep conditioner really improved the health of my hair. Loved the products she used, and left buying the oil. Can’t wait to see Tasha coloring techniques for my next visit.

Leiah saved me from my fear of getting my hair cut I have had so many people mess up my hair. She did a great job no Amazing job! The best part is she listened to me and did exactly what I wanted and offered new advice that made my hair look better! Now she working on getting it longer and healthy! A man that works under the Hair Graphics location but his business name is , Hair Planet is extremely nasty and unprofessional. Would not recommend Hair Planet at all very disrespectful in front of my daughter. Its funny, reading the reviews I see i wasn't the only one they wanted to charge an extra $50 . Lewis told me and my 14 year old daughter to leave! The nerve!!!!

Nothing stresses me out more than having to find a new salon to go to -- and I was in desperate need of a new one because my old hairstylist just wasn't up to her usual standards, which is really sad because I've gone to her for such a long time. But, I found this place and judging by the reviews I read before booking an appointment, I was pretty impressed. I was also impressed they were able to get me in almost immediately. The owner, Jen, did my hair and she did such a good job. She told me exactly what she was going to do and asked me if it was okay to cut a little more than just my split ends (which were really bad because I do a lot of heat styling). I like that she made sure I was okay with it. And she gave me details on what exactly they were going to put in my hair and it was just an all around great atmosphere. Definitely will continue going!

She’s always giving me the latest looks before they’re popular like Ambre and Bayalage...and even helped me grow out my natural hair color when I wanted to (I like to switch things up)! She listens to what you want, will give you honest advice, and makes sure you’re well taken care of. She’s always in search of the best products and has now made it so that her materials are recycle able. I have sent over a dozen people to her and years later, they are still with her! You can’t go wrong with HG!

EDIT: Immediately after posting this review Jennifer, the salon owner, contacted me via text. She asked me to come in so she could take a closer look at the cut and perhaps fix it. I went back to the salon yesterday and met with Jennifer. She was professional and kind and agreed that this was a really bad haircut. Jennifer listened to what I wanted and asked several pertinent questions. When we agreed on how I wanted it cut and the expectations I had we began. She conditioned my hair then proceeded to straighten out the jagged edges and worked on framing my face correctly. I am pleased with the service and the final result. Jennifer went about and beyond to correct the problem in the most professional and friendly manner possible. I have updated my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. I will return to Hair Graphics if I can have Jennifer take care of my locks, she was excellent. I am growing out my dyed blonde shoulder length locks. I am not a lover of hair salons or haircuts so my ends were dry and brittle. I just needed a trim. I found a Groupon for this salon and choose them because it was close to me and had great reviews both here and at Groupon. I made my appointment and the receptionist scheduled me with Maggie. She's a cute little red headed girl with gorgeous makeup. I explained that I wear my hair parted to one side and use a large curling iron to just turn the ends under a bit and give a bit of body. My hair is thin and fine so no body to it at all. I always get long layers cut into it with it gently layered around my face to accentuate the look of a smooth cut that allows for some body and flow. Maggie seemed to understand this and was confident and sweet. She washed, conditioned and massaged my scalp. Then she sections my hair off and started cutting. All the while she's cutting she's talking to me and I'm chatting back. I learned that Maggie is 19 and says she's been doing hair for a year. I noticed that she never asked me to keep my chin on my chest as is always asked by other stylists for my cut. She never asked me to sit straight and still like other stylists. I noticed Maggie never pulled the ends together in front of my face to check the length and symmetry. I could see she was taking off the inch we discussed so I thought maybe she was just really good. She took a lot of time drying my hair in sections and that was nice. She showed me my hair and it looked ok but I didn't have my glasses on and was in a hurry to meet my husband. When I got to my car I noticed it was a bit crooked but planned to call the salon and let Maggie fix it or perhaps I'd just snip that long tendril off. I came home and went to dinner with my husband. I went to the ladies room and noticed my hair. After being outdoors the little bit of body from the hair dryer was gone and I could see the cut itself. I cried. It's horrible! It is very crooked, part of my hair at my face on one side wasn't even cut at all so it's way longer on one side than the other and the cut itself, all the way around, looks like a first grader did it with safety scissors while blindfolded. WORST HAIRCUT I'VE EVER HAD!!! I'm certain that others have ended up with this horror and I'm sure there's some sort of manager at the salon. Why in the world are they not doing any training or quality checks on this girl? I've gotten better haircuts at cosmetology schools. Never, ever again. The sad part is my Groupon was for $17 and I tipped her $20. It's gonna cost me another $50 to get this horror fixed. Never again.

I go here every six weeks and visit Kim. She is awesome. I tell her what I like, what I need and she gets it done and it looks excellent (so says my wife). The facility is easily accessible and they keep it clean in there. Even though I don't use anyone else, the people I have come into contact with there are all very nice and very helpful. Also, although I haven't used many of them, they have a nice array of products and are all very knowledgeable on what products work best for your type of hair. If you're fine with a Great Clips cut, this isn't the place for you. If you want someone to style your hair and have it fit your face and enhance your look...this is where you want to be. Ask for Kim, schedule with her, and tell her Dave Scott sent you.

Possibly the greatest haircut ever!I was an evening walk-in.Lauren kept the salon open late for me, and spent over an hour layering and texturing my very thick hair.I gave her zero direction, and she did an amazing job--i love this haircut! I don't have to do anything to it for it to look great.Lauren is really interesting and pleasant.The entire experience was great! I'll definitely be coming back.

Great salon, Jada was an awesome stylist!! Love the cut! Not to mention, until I went here, my scalp would always itch horrendously when I got my hair colored. I told my stylist and she said that shouldn't happen because HG uses all ammonia-free products. And would you believe...NO ITCH AT ALL!!! All this time, and I had no idea. Plus the whole service was still reasonably priced. Will DEFINITELY be going back!!
