Braids R Us was great! Wash, condition, detangle and twist! and FAST! And I was a walk-in! Nice ladies. I took my own leave-in-conditioner and twisting creme. Simply because I wasn't sure what natural hair products they'd have. Will take my own shampoo and conditioner next time (just cause I like it!) Plus, it's a braid shop = most folks wash and dry at home. Coomba twisted it wet and I was under the dryer for like 20 min after. She was gentle and professional! And it's so neat and pretty! Reasonably priced, especially with all this hair! Rating =

this is my vaforite place getting your hair done on time the girls r wellcoming, fast and at the end you have the most beatiful braids ever, the prices are affortable,Im 100% will keep going back,of you girls here who are talking bad about this place pls STOP! cuz i have being at many diffrent african salon but this is, the BEST SO MAYBE YOU SHALL GO BACK maybe the girls are diffrent ones cuz, I cant complain, GOOD LUCK

I have been natural for going on 5 years and have been able to go to Dominican salons and walk out without heat damage. I come here now my hair is broken off, heat damaged, and no longer retaining moisture. The entire experience was a mess from the start. I wanted two braids was told it could be done and it would only cost $60, I come to get my hair done and all of a sudden it's a different stylist and she says it'll be $70 since my hair is natural and does more than two braids. All the while she has an attitude, she pulls out a hair dryer and I ask if she used heat protectant she said yeah but of course she didn't. To make matters worse 3 days after getting the style it looked like two weeks had passed already. DO NOT come here if you're natural, your hair will be ruined for sure.

It was horrible experience I have ever had at a braiding shop. I ask for medium box braids and they put large in. If they did not feel like doing work they should have said they were busy. They are rude and unprofessional they do not care for your hair at all. Please spend your money somewhere else and I wasn't the problem either.

This is one of the worst professional braid jobs I've ever had. I haven't had it in for a full 24 hours and it looks like it's been in for a week. I also had to provide my own hair edge control gel. I got 2 braids and they look sloppy and loose. It's the next day and I was so frustrated with trying to make it look better with more gel that i just took it out and went to another familiar place around the corner. I gave 2 stars because they were nice ladies, otherwise they would get one.

I just got my hair braided into no knot cornrows. The style is beautiful it was quick, the lady who did my hair was respectful, professional and kind, and the shop was clean and inviting. What more could you ask for. My hair is natural and my edges are very fine but you cant tell from how neat and lovely it looks. This place is awesome. I guess the other posters had bad experiences but from a real poster and someone who is seriously picky this place is just as good as the African hair gallery in silver spring and dc where Im originally from. I will definitely be back thanks ladies.
