O'Briens came recommended to me by a friend. I've been getting my haircut by Lindsay at O'Briens for a few years now and absolutely love it there! They're always friendly & quick in greeting you and offering you something drink and the haircut starts off with a scalp massage (the best!). I've also gotten brow waxes there before and have only had good experiences. Would definitely recommend this place!

My daughter was so excited to have her hair cut short and I picked what I thought would be a great place. We took in several photos. Shorter in the back, longer in the front bob type hair style. First the girl barely acknowledged what my shy 8 year old was trying to tell her. Then she cut it and when we got home we realized one side was over an inch longer than the other side. So we went back and instead of just slightly fixing the side she was talking about the girl never apologized and cut it into a completely short bob, well above her shoulders. My daughter went home crying. Worst experience ever. I would never recommend this establishment... So one day after posting this I received a very kind phone call letting me know that the stylist my daughter had was just no longer there for similar complaints. They apologized and offered a free haircut for her to try with someone new. It is so nice to see places take issues seriously and I am crossing my fingers for a great haircut for my little girl.

I had high lighted my hair for years and I wanted to move away from high lights to just dying my hair blond. my hair was already pretty light and i have somewhat dark brown hair. I went to O'briens and explained what I wanted, which was to dye it just a little blonder than my high lights. They girl had no idea what she was doing. She bleached my hair for almost two hours and then tried to put a toner in it. Which didn't do anything really. My hair was stark white on my uncolored roots and white yellow on where my high lights had been. So after 3 hours of coloring my hair was just about ready to fall of my head it was so dead! Now the salon was closing and they where pushing me out the door. I asked if I still didn't like it if I could come back in the morning. She said yes. The next morning I woke up and started crying it was so awful. I called the second they opened and they had no time that day to fix it and did not tell me if I went somewhere else I would not get my money back. So I went somewhere else because I could NOT go out in public it was so bad. When I called and spoke to the manager she said I couldn't get half a refund since I went somewhere else. Best they could do was 20% off my next visit. Like I would ever come back! Awful experience all around, I would not recommend going here for any color jobs. I wish there was a start lower than one, that's how bad it was

Casey... Wow there is so much I can say about this Stylist. I have never been so happy with my hair. Color and cut it almost seem effortless. Casey explained each and every detail of the process and what to expect over time. I could not be happier I happen to end up in her chair. I will never see another. Thank you Casey!!

3 weeks, I had to wait just over 3 weeks to get an appointment with Casie Fisk (Hope I’m spelling that correctly). Casie was recommended to me by a co-worker who’s hair always looks stunning. During those 3 weeks I walked into a hair cuts plus and then walked out, called O’Briens and requested any hair dresser who had time but changed my mind. Thank goodness I waited it out!! Not only did I get the most hair education one person could take in during an appointment but amazing hair. Casie transformed my limp, lifeless hair into a masterpiece. There hasn’t been a day that someone hasn’t complemented my color and shine. The length flatters my face so well. I honestly could go on and on about the hour and half I spent in Casie’s chair but to get to the point, if you haven’t met Casie it’s about time you make an appointment. I promise you won’t regret it. Casie will be the only person who ever touches my hair again. Just make sure you book ahead!!

Horrible and unreliable service. My first appointment here was canceled 10 minutes before it was supposed to begin. Only compensation was a 10% discount to reschedule. Once I finally had my rescheduled Balayage appointment, my hair came out orange and poorly done. They gave me a redo appointment for no charge. Because they were were willing to fix the mistake I was willing to give them another try despite being unreliable both with results and scheduling. My appointment today was cancelled on me with less than ten minutes notice for the second time. This was a different artist, named Brooke. The receptionist told me they did not have anyone in at all to do hair that day, and the only compensation she gave this time was a 10 dollar off coupon. For a haircut that would have costed me over 200 dollars for cut and color, that isn't even five percent off. Or is that worth my time having to drive all the way to an appointment. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know and am greatly dissapointed in the service and customer service.

The front door staff is extremely friendly and always offering tea or water. Great experience. Casey F. is awesome for haircuts and color A+++.

They do a great job on my hair but don't go here if you are hoping to develop a relationship with a stylist. Turnover is very high and you only get a call the day before your appointment if they need to make any changes. When I emailed them about it, there was zero response. So customer service is pretty much non-existent.

I've had my hair styled at O'Brien's since 2009 and I LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! them. Everyone is so sweet and kind and helpful. And my hair stylist, Lindsay is the BEST. She always knows what I want and does a spectacular job. She's very professional and knowledgeable but mostly she's AWESOME!

I am very pleased with the services provided by Ines. She does a wonderful job plus she is very nice and professional. Not pushy to sell you more than you need. The product she suggested I use on my hair worked perfectly. Price is high, however worth it. I've burned myself before trying to save on my cuts .

I gave directions to take only a little off, and my haircutter disregarded everything I said and shaved my entire head. I was unable to tell what she was doing because of my terrible vision. She would also not own up to ignoring my directions and instead blamed me. Overall, a terrible experience.

Great salon! Bonnie has been doing my hair for years and it always looks amazing.My son always has Bonnie cut his hair she always makes him look like a handsome young man. My daughter just likes to tag along because she enjoys talking with Bonnie. Marissa is also fabulous she is always so cheerful and friendly. I will not go anywhere else

My daughter and her friend went to this salon to get their hair dyed. Both turned out wrong! My daughter wanted her hair hombre style and it looks like they put a bowl on her head and dyed it from there made it a white blonde at the bottom. Looks like they sectioned it off at the top and dyed it a brassy orange. I looked at her and said who, what , it isn't even close to the picture she showed them. She said the person who did her hair was new, like she had her license for about a year. I'm like are you kidding? Doing an hombre style takes many more years of experience to do it right. I can't believe the manager of this salon allowed this stylist to do it on her own, she should be training with the manager. She should of been working with someone who's done them successfully before. Really?? They didn't even try to fix it. Didn't offer money back for their mistake. Gross way of doing business. Her friend had his hair dyed blonde on the top. It was already dyed blonde, but growing out. He wanted it a lighter blonde. They did it, but it wasn't lighter, except the ends of the hair were white, not blonde, white and was left there. Again, really?? I am shocked you have any business and are still open. Maybe you should just do cuts and blow drying. Again, no one offered any fixes. You guys left them leave looking like they had some juveniles do their hair at home in the basement. No, I would never recommend you to anyone. Thinking of calling the board to make a complaint.

My last two appointments have been very discouraging. I have had to go back both times within the same week to have my hair “fixed”... I have spent over $400 on services and numerous hours (14 hours+) getting highlights and lowlights all of which have turned out horribly. My hair is not blended, orange in most places and too bleached out in others with tons of roots showing...I ’m upset because I love Aveda products and this salon used to be very recommendable by me but unfortunately lately I have been extremely disappointed

Had an appointment for 10am. Receptionist was 15 minutes late in opening. No acknowledgment or apology when she arrived. Other people were also waiting as well for an appointment. Stylists were both very nice and kept me informed of the status of opening. It would've been nice to receive a monetary courtesy for the inconvenience or at the very least an apology from the late receptionist. I have been a customer here for the past 2 + years. Every 6-8 weeks I go in for a cut, I've had colors and I purchase the Aveda products as well. This last weekend really made me take a step back and reflect on why I am paying so much for the cuts and product? I can go anywhere for that kind of customer service treatment.

My stylist had left and I asked fo someone who knew how to do a razor cut on short hair. Was directed to Bonnie who asked me if I wanted an inch or two taken off / I was like yeah it's a razor cut we don't really talk inches. She picked up a comb and a razor and jus basically gave me a razor bowl cut. I complained was told I would get a check for a refund mailed to me because Bonnie didn't know how to do razor cuts. After a gift card arrived I contacted the person I had been in touch with from the home office. She never responded. So I spoke to one of the owners who proceeded to yell at me and told me I was throwing people under the bus. But he's having someone hand deliver a check. Never go there and never work for them

I went in to get my hair colored a dark brown with Carmel highlights, I had shown them a picture of how I wanted my hair to come out and it came out nothing like the way I wanted it! In fact about 2 weeks later it has almost completely faded and doesn’t even really look like they did anything to my hair at all and my highlightes came out horrible and you can’t even really tell they’re there. Extremely disappointed for paying $150, especially because this was my first time ever going to get my hair done professionally. I will find a different place to go next time! Feel like I wasted my money.
