This salon was not as clean as I would have liked, but the stylist did an incredible job on my hair. I have curly hair and have paid a lot of money at hair salons in Chittenden County for them to ruin my hair. The stylist here was amazing and actually knew what he was doing.

Got my nails done (gel) on Friday and they were sooo lumpy and are already chipping and it’s monday... whenever I go to the other nail place in town they last two weeks.. they guy was SO nice and we had great convo but I felt like he was rushing but there wasn’t anyone waiting to get their nails done... probably won’t be going again.

lol I hate writing reviews but this was literally the most disgusting haircut i've ever received. I explained that I straighten my hair everyday and said "No layers please" but the guy kept insisting layers would look better, so I trusted his judgement assuming a hairdresser would AT LEAST be able to get hair right (I was wrong). He gave me the most choppy, disgusting layers I have ever seen and I didn't realize this until I was home. The product he put in my hair made it smell gross and look frizzy. I genuinely advise you to not go here, if you're looking to save money buy a pair of $20 hair shears and do it at home. You'll probably do a better job.

I came here today for a trim. I told the man that I was very nervous because I had never been there (I just moved to this area) and I had been growing my hair out for over a year. He told me he would take off three inches. I left in tears after he took close to seven inches off, I kept saying my hair is curly don’t go too short when it dries it shrinks, and also that I was panicking during the cut. He just kept cutting and said my hair would look so much better after. He also said he didn’t care about reviews online (i mentioned that was how I picked the place) because they had an established business who fix other salons mistakes. No one can fix this mistake. Nothing but time. I literally cried as I left. No response from him, and I had to pay. I’m so sad about this experience. I’m giving them a 1 because it seemed the other clients and staff were very friendly. But I will never return . :(

My hair cut was great. But my sons was done by a younger gentleman who did not do so well. My 14yr old asked him not to cut anymore off the top and he kept going and took off a whole inch extra after being asked to stop. So make sure to speak loud and also be extremely specific while in the chair.

I have been going to Hair & Nail Express for YEARS for my gel manicures and have never been disappointed! The staff here are wonderful! Thuan does an AMAZING job everytime! He's always willing to try to duplicate all my favorite nail designs from Pinterest! Highly recommended!!
