Once again, a fabulous cut and color from my stylist, Ruth! I have been going to Ruth for some time now, and I love her new "home," Di Moda. The salon is trendy and upbeat, and I appreciate the warm welcome when I enter. All of the stylists are positive and professional and I love the vibe and location in downtown Burlington. As a professional, I appreciate Ruth's ability to recommend styles and color changes that are subtle and current - I continually receive compliments about my hair. I feel like she always listens to my needs when I decide to make a change, and makes recommendations based on her extensive professional knowledge as a stylist. She is a truly caring person and takes the time to make sure I look my best at every visit. If you are looking for an excellent stylist at a fantastic salon, I HIGHLY recommend Ruth at Di Moda.

I love my stylist, Chelsey. My haircuts are always exactly what I want, and I completely trust her to do what she thinks. She and all the ladies in the salon are friendly, and personable. I have never written a negative review but there is a first for everything. I just got one of the worst hair cuts of my life. It will be weeks before it grows out enough for me to do anything with it other than to try and hide it. The stylist was pleased with herself even though she sent me out looking like a cross between a 5 year old and a 95 year old woman. Neither of which is a look I asked for. Her parting comment was that she couldnt' get my bangs to behave because of my coulic. Perhaps she should tell her clients that before she starts hacking away at your hair. There are plenty of youtube tutorials if she needs one. Avoid Ruth at all costs.

Ruthie at Di Moda Salon is fantastic! Ruthie started cutting my hair over 15 years ago and I have been a loyal client of hers as she transitioned between salons and I transitioned between hair styles. She helped me to get rid of my bangs many years ago (they were too short and the style was outdated and not flattering to my face), she wisely suggested I start shaping my eyebrows (which she does expertly) and after my boys were born she helped me to make the transition to dying my gray hair (people don't even know since it looks so natural!) I love my time with Ruthie every 6 weeks. It is like a mini vacation to go to Di Moda Salon where I get to be pampered and relax, talk and laugh with Ruthie, and catch up on the latest fashion and pop culture magazines in their lovely little waiting area. The Salon is conveniently located in downtown Burlington, and it is as classy and chic as it is warm and inviting to regulars. Thanks to Ruthie, I always leave feeling prettier and better about myself than when I walked in.

DiModa is a very nice upscale salon, with a relaxed atmosphere. Ruthie has been my hair stylist for many years and has kept my styles up to date, easy to care for, with excellent natural looking highlights. She also is terrific with young people and does a great job with my sons' haircuts. I highly recommend DiModa and Ruthie.

I was looking for a good hairdresser for 6 long years in Vermont from time to time. I tried several salons without any luck.... Only once I had a good haircut, but the girl left her salon and I could not find her any more. After I had several bad experiences I found Ellie Trono in Di Moda Salon. First of all I liked very much she does not stop learning and goes to take classes in NY City and other big cities. The second thing what I liked about her was the way she looked on the photo from Di Moda Salon website. It looked promising to me. When I made an appointment and met her personally I was very pleased to see a beautiful smiling woman with a nice hairdo. She listened carefully all my wishes and fixed perfectly my horrible haircut what I got couple weeks ago in some other place. I must say to fix somebody's mistakes is not easy always. And she completed this task beautifully! Also she gave me very helpful advises about shampoo and masks. My haircut is great and I feel very good about it! Dear Ellie, thank you very much. I will have my next haircut only from you!

Ellie is AMAZING. I went to her based on these reviews. I cut almost 7 inches off of my hair. I brought in a picture of a messy bob with a lot of texture, and literally left the place looking like the picture. She is so good at what she does. A little pricy, but absolutely worth it.

Ellie is FABULOUS and I just cannot say enough good things about her, her styling abilities, and her salon. I moved to VT from near Chicago two years ago and after getting several awful haircuts in the area, I found Ellie and she is AWESOME. She magically transformed a botch-job into a fantastic style. I am generally very picky about my hair and she far exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend her to ANYONE wanting a fabulous style and/or color. Not to mention, her salon is relaxing and chic. I loved my experience there, and I WILL be going back for as long as I live in VT (or surrounding states for that matter). Truly, she is a hair artist.
