I’ll start with the positive. She braids fast and you can get an appointment on short notice. I initially called to inquire about her doing Goddess box braids. She told me that she knew how to do them. I asked if a could set up an appointment in a couple days. Once I arrived she asked me to remind her of what style I wanted. I told her Goddess box braids. She acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about. I pulled up a YouTube video to show her how they look. Just the other day she told me she did them. Once she saw the video she told me don’t look at YouTube they make things complicated. She said you want the wet and wavy. I can braid the ends and give you that look. That is not the same thing. First of all, YouTube does not make things complicated it is a place where people can acquire knowledge and learn the latest styling techniques. If you choose not to follow they latest trends that is fine, but do not try to deceive people by telling them that you know how to do certain styles. So, instead of getting Goddess box braids. She decided to give me the style she wanted to do which was micro braids. Which is the complete opposite of what I asked for. Now mind you after being with her 5 minutes I realized I was not going to get my desired style, so I just let her braid my hair. Because I did not feel like leaving without getting something done to my hair. If you decide to try this lady don’t go to her thinking you are going to get the latest and trendiest braids. She seems to only know how or want to only do a few different styles of braids. I’m a licensed cosmetologist for over 15 years I have learned that in order for my clientele to grow and keep loyal clients that I had to learn new techniques over the years to remain competitive. My advice for her in the future is to be honest and upfront with potential clients on what you are capable and willing to do. Please do not lie and tell clients you can do certain styles but once they arrive you change your story. If you are interested in gaining or have returning clients you need to be honest.

This past June I went to Victoria’s salon to have my hair braided and I was very satisfied with the end result. I received so many compliments on the style! The service was courteous and fast, and Victoria and her assistant were enjoyable to talk with while they did excellent work. I had been wanting Senegalese Twists for quite some time and Victoria did an amazing job! The price was fair and the service were good. The facilities were also tidy and pleasant. I would highly recommend Victoria and plan to go back to her soon to get my hair done again.

Victoria is amazing! She is fast and she knows what she is doing. She braided my daughter's hair and it turned out beautiful. My daughter didn't even like braids but made her get them to help her hair with growth. Now she doesn't want anything else but braids and only wants Victoria to do them. There is not many places you can go to have your hair done and the stylist is not only fast and efficient but also has great people skills. Trust me when I tell you your not just getting a stylist. I don't care what your mood is, you will walk out of there feeling better than you did when you came in. We will definitely be return customers.
