My son has had his hair cut here 3 times. He’s done very well cute, clean place. Staff could use some improvements! No interaction with the kids and Russ to parents. My husband took our son yesterday, they were late. But still not a reason to not complete a hair cut or give bad service. My son still has hair touching his ears and it just looks like an unfished haircut.

This place is always busy, but our appointments have been more or less on time (maybe waiting 10 min, but that’s much less than walk ins). Had one weird experience with one of the stylists not agreeing with how we wanted the kiddo’s haircut (didn’t mind her disagreeing, but didn’t agree with how she went about it). However, Jacqui was the stylist on our most recent visit and she was fantastic!!

Good atmosphere for the kids! Staff was friendly, kids got to play with toys and sat in one of the cars that they have there while they got their hair cut. They loved the balloon and lollipop at the end! Would definitely go there again.

This is a place I'd reccomend for EVERYONE'S kids, they're amazing at what they do, very well with understanding kids are kids and they can handle what gets thrown at them very well my 3 year old little girl is very sassy, demanding and had a head full of tangled hair.. We were out in less than an hour and they offer nail painting for little girls and a game station for boys. Jaqui was my daughters hair stylist and she was just amazing LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

Totally un-impressed. I called ahead to ask about possible accomadations as my 2 year old son has some sensory issues. The lady on the phone assured me it was no problem & we set our appt. Upon arrival we were seen promptly, and the atmosphere seems really fun & inviting for kids. I was holding my son while he got his haircut & asked our stylist, Joanna, if we could turn something on the TV in front of us to help distract him. Instead, she turned us around pointed to the TV up front & said oh there's Mickey Mouse on over there. Which was so far away did not catch my sons interest. After 10 mins tops, she said okay your done, didnt even offer to brush ANY of the hair off my son or me. So I brushed the hair off my sons neck myself & went up to the front where she proceeded to tell the lady up front "just go ahead & switch it to the first haircut special" without asking me or explaining what it was. (I'm assuming because it costs more) I said NO THANK YOU, Im good with the regular haircut (it wasnt his first haircut anyways and she didnt do ANYTHING special) We paid & left. She also missed a few pieces in the back, which I could overlook because my son was fidgety, but with everything else I'm not. ***Update: owner contacted me to address our experience and apologize.

For most part I like this place. As far as the staff most of girls here are great but its hit or miss seems like faces change all the time and it is hard find good to go person. So Bottom line it's ok its kind hit or miss.

First time, called to set an appointment then asked for price then went in. I checked in at 12:55pm; appointment was at 1pm didn't have to wait long started at 1:03pm. The people were nice! Joanna had cut my 2 yr old son's hair and did an awesome job. Was easy to talk with her and she was patient with my son will definitely be back for his next hair cut style. The before and after photo of his haircut. Asked my lil man if he liked his haircut and he said yes. So if he was happy so am I. We moved to this area and in the past took him to a barber shop. He always screamed and moved tremendously when getting his hair cut. This time he just sat in the police car seat that he chose and played in it while he got his hair cut.

This place is amazing! My daughter wanted to have a new hair cut transformation and this was the perfect place. The staff are nice and will not rush the experience.

Honestly overpriced and I had to take my kids to a different place to get their hair fixed. If you have a big take him just down the road to Sport Clips, they do a great job and it’s cheaper. The lady was nice though.

I am severely disappointed in the service with this business. I set an appointment hoping we’d skip the wait and be in and out quickly, boy was I wrong. Not only were there only two stylists, there were several parents with multiple children already there. So we were all booked for the same time or walk ins came before the scheduled appointments. We sat after being signed in and were not acknowledged again until I stood up and said I wanted to cancel.

My lil man always looks sharp leaving sharkeys. Jackie always edges my lil guy perfectly AND they offer 1 fee for unlimited haircuts for a year for kids 3 and under. Were Friday regulars.

Loved being able to book online. They were fairly close to the actual appointment time. Deluxe treatment for boys and girls so both kids enjoyed it significantly! Since our appointment was late, we got to see their end of day clean up and they are really, really thorough and clean. Great ownership and atmosphere.

Great service, super friendly staff, and Candace did an amazing job. She cut my 1 year old boys hair while he screamed the entire time (first haircut), and fixed my 3 year olds self inflicted art center haircut. We will be going here from now on!

This was our first time here. Very great experience. My oldest son sat and played games while his brother and sister got their hair done. This was my daughter's first haircut and she got the "whole package". They painted her nails and then gave her a pretty little ring. They washed her hair. Then they cut it dried it and put a cute little clip in. Then they took her picture and filled out a certificate and put a little piece of her hair in a bag. Printed off the picture and handed it all to me. They were very patient with her. They let her pick where she wanted to sit. They didn't get upset or correct her when she started moving around. I was very satisfied with the whole trip. Would love to go back again and will also recommend them!!

A stylist wasnt able to perform her job when my 2yo son wasnt being perfectly still like she wanted. Had to buzz his head bc she took so long and he ended up balling his eyes out. We have better luck at pigtails and crewcuts.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The ladies at Sharkey's treated my daughter like an absolute princess. She had an awesome first haircut experience, and was beaming from ear to ear when we left. The service was fast and reasonably priced. From now on, this is the only place I will take my kids for their haircuts!

I'm giving this place a 5 star bc they have one very nice lady who dose the most amazing job with my son's hair. Her name is Jacqui. She's talkative,and personable,she makes me feel good about where I'm spending my money. ** Unfortunately we couldn't wait to see her this last time and not only did the hairstylist cut our son's ear she didn't even bother to tell us!! She also didn't check his hair cut she just made it look good at the time being. After his bath I could tell it wasn't great and as a fellow cosmetologist I wasn't impressed by her attitude, lack of care,and personal skills. I can't recall her name but she had very red hair ( dyed bright red )

Excellent children's salon. All inclusive price! Patient staff. Great cuts. Wonderful service. I'm not sure where the complaints come from. You do need to make a reservation, this place can get PACKED. It's worth it though.

We have been coming to Sharkey's for a few years and my twin boys love getting their haircut here. The salon is very clean, the staff is so friendly and the haircuts are amazing. I highly recommend bringing your kiddos.

The lady that did my daughter's hair did an amazing job. It was my daughter's first hair cut and they made her feel comfortable as well as did exactly what I asked them to do. Highly recommend for there wonderful professional, quality of work, and atmosphere. They also have a first haircut package that was well worth it. Comes with a lock of hair,picture, certificate, and balloon, I'm a sentimental mom so it meant a lot. Will definitely be going back.

Husband and me, decided it was time for our son's first haircut. As normal parents, we were worried it was going to go wrong, but it didn't. It is a fair price considering all the entertainment they have for the kids, so not sure why people think it's overpriced. Airean asked us how we wanted his haircut, she checked with us each time just to make sure we still like it, she was fast and patient. You can't expect a haircut to be perfect on a baby that doesn't stay still or is upset during the haircut. Below are prictures of before, during, and after the haircut. We will definitely be coming back!
