Saw Becca at the Bridges location and was disappointed in the whole experience. My first visit was a good color application, but had a reddish hue instead of the natural brown I asked for. When I returned I had a different stylist who gave me exactly what I asked for, I was so happy! With my third visit I learned that the second stylist moved away and I had Becca again. This time I politely asked if it could be less red than before (and knew it could be done since another stylist did it). Becca completely blew up at me and whined about having to put certain tones in... it made me fearful about what her plan actually was for the color? I stayed to see how it turned out and it was the same red color as before. It was very hard to get rid of and I decided never to go back!

The salon is awesome, the staff know you on a first name basis. They have the best Aveda products that smell amazing. My stylist Leah U. Does a great job trying new products and cutting techniques to keep it interesting. I get asked over and over about my hair...Vanessen's is the best in town!!!! Go see them for your holiday hair!

I ordered miracle hair growing potion from Indonesia just so I could get more haircuts from Jenna. She cuts every follicle with the grace of 10,000 baby ponies. If I could get my haircut every 8 minutes I would. I love this place and I love Claire.

I had very... very long super curly hair that i was absolutely terrified of cutting short, but i walked into Vanessens with an appointment i scheduled an hour earlier and sat down with Nikki who took what i wanted and gave me absolutely nothing less. She was very confident in her work and cut it exactly how i would have wanted it to be done, she was amazing!! Also her and everyone else there was very very friendly and welcoming, and there's nowhere else I'll ever go for a haircut again! Period.

Everyone is very friendly & it is a beautiful updated environment, and I have never saw someone walk out of that salon who didn't have a smile on their face. Wonderful salon; Breanna is an artist! I can go in with a Pinterest board or phone album full of random pictures and huge amounts of nerves about a new style, and come out looking fabulous every single time. She's honest about what will or won't work specifically on me, and won't just cut it "exactly like the picture" unless that's what I want-no cardboard cutout styles here! You get exactly what you want. Everyone I've seen leaving this salon looks great AND happy when they're leaving; quality salons like this make it easy to settle in to a new area!

Love this place, have been going for years! Jena is wonderful with hair color and cut. She helped turn my dishwater blond limp hair into a terrific natural looking blond with lots of natural looking body. She is also starting to help the grey stay away.

Nikki absolutely the best. For the fellas out there, don't look at this place as a stylist joint full of "chatty Kathy's", Nikki has her own closed off space, quiet, TV, etc. She's been a barber for years and does fantastic work including hot towl and scalp massage. Do yourself a favor and check her out.

My daughter saw Jordan at the Bridges location. I was not with her and was very anxious about what she would come home looking like. I could not have been happier with the outcome! Jordan has a very impressive skill set and provided my daughter with not only amazing, healthy looking hair but also with an air of confidence that I had not seen in her in a long time. Nikki, the resident barber, did a great job. I had been bouncing between various barbers and hairstylists since my regular barber retired some time ago. The on-line appointment system at Vanessen's is a plus, easy to use and sends alerts for appointment reminders. I have already made my next appointment with Nikki. I would recommend Vanessen's and Nikki to anyone looking for a new barber.

Amanda was my hairstylist. I had come in for a color change from blonde to more of a natural blonde look. I was charged $255 for one bowl of bleach that was washed off with shampoo and conditioner. I asked Amanda to go over charges with me and was curious on why one bowl of bleach was $250. Amanda had stated " What do you do for a living" instead of explaining the pricing. My hair was very brittle and dry afterwards with my scalp burning with the color being a yellow color, instead of a natural blonde. Amanda was very confrontational and rude. She did not fix her mistake or apologize and take responsibility. I do not recommend this salon as I left unhappy and extremely overcharged!!

The best barber in town do not be fooled by other hip men's hair cut establishments. Nikki gives the best hair cut in town, I drive 30 miles almost every two weeks just to have her cut my hair. She knows how I like my hair and is a stickler for perfection, and the atmosphere is great.

You have to get on her schedule regularly because she's SO good she's constantly booked but absolutely worth it HANDS DOWN (see what I did there?)
