Worst salon I’ve been into for a long time, especially for the prices! I received a pedicure here twice and both times the pedi chair was leaking leaving water on the floor everywhere. The room was very disorganized , there was stuff everywhere on the counters and on the floor. And they used an old crock pot to heat up the towels during the pedicure. They stylist who did my pedicure, ALL of her tools were full of rust. My total was over $80. This place is WAY overpriced for the quality of the services I received. I would NOT recommend to a friend. And any time I have complained to the owner she didn’t seem to care. Very unprofessional. Edited to add: No I was not put in your system. Both times I had a pedicure done with two of my girlfriends at your salon one of which had been to your salon before and had gift cards to use on all of us, her treat. Your receptionist put us as a party and all together on one receipt. I even called the manager or owner to complain about my pedicure and I was offered no refund or any kind of accommodations regarding the awful pedicure I received. The manager had no interest in helping me or making things right. We will certainly not be coming back to this place..

I recently treated myself to a pedicure at southeastern. The nail technician I had was warm and friendly. Unfortunately, I was disappointed and frankly very surprised by the cleanliness and quality of the spa pedicure I received. Please see the attached photos of the rusty nail clippers, rusty cuticle nippers, rusty light, product on the counter that had not been unwrapped or put away. By the looks of it, if these instruments were to cut a client, it would for sure cause some kind of infection. Shortly before the nail tech painted my nails, I asked for toe separators and she replied that none were in stock. Instead, she left the pedicure room and brought back cotton, it looked like something you’d use in a perm. When she pulled the cotton apart it made a mess and the fibers got stuck all over my toes and feet with the moist lotion. It was a mess, to say the least. For the price I paid for the spa pedicure I was left wanting more. So after my last experience I thought its only fair to bring these concerns to your attention. Until these things at SouthEastern Hair Design and Day spa are taken care of I do NOT recommend anyone go here... Many thanks for your attention in this matter. Love it. Love it! First of all, this place knows how to Internet, and I like that. It's better now, but when I first came to town (and had no idea with whom I should be trusting these curls!), it was SO HARD to shop hairstylists online because of how little they had done to showcase the portfolios of their stylists. There aren't many professions where the quality of your work is immediately obvious; there should be a bio + portfolio for every hair professional on any local salon web page. Well, anyway, it wasn't an issue on the SEHD website - go there now - which was THE deciding factor on where to book my first hair appointment in town. The stylists do great work, and when you're not facing the financial hardship of paying for your degree while making $8/hr at nearly any job in town, it's also really a great place to get an incredibly relaxing massage. I flat out fell asleep with some lady's hands on my face. That's not a norm for me, per se, but it guaranteed I'd be back. And I have! For a coloring, which also was something to write Google about. She did not try to dissuade me from what I wanted, but she was very honest about what it would take to get there. In the end, she had over prepared me (I don't think on purpose) by being so forthcoming, and I was so enamored with the results. Huge believer here in culture cultivation, and it takes the right business to hire the right people - Southeastern Hair Design & Day Spa is definitely "one of those" businesses!

I went to this spa and purchased a spray tan. I have had tons of hand held spray tans at different locations, and have never had an experience as terrible as this. I left soaking wet, with brown liquid literally dripping down my entire body. The girl was clearly not familiar with the process, as there was no rhyme or reason to the ways she was having me move and adjust. The tan was HORRENDOUS and embarrassing. I almost scrubbed my skin off in the shower trying to get it off. I called to speak with the manager, and got the owner. Being a business professional myself, I understand how important it is to know when poor quality services are being provided. She did not seem concerned. I told her I could send her photos, and she said it was unnecessary. She suggested I try a different girl next time. (I would NEVER go back there again). I paid $50.00 for this service. No refund was offered. BEWARE before spray tanning here. I can't even imagine how terrible this would be for a bride, etc. I would recommend Tan on Demand.

This salon is not what it used to be! Do NOT pay high prices for extremely low quality work. I used to love this place. Sooooo sad it went so down hill.

No matter what service I go for whether it be a manicure, pedicure, eyelashes, color or haircut I walk out of the spa feeling fabulous. Always offered a drink, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Would highly recommend for anyone needed services.
