Feel bad saying this but it's the truth I was disappointed walking out of this salon. Because of the good ratings and being voted "#1" in SF I was looking forward on having an amazing experience too but with the hair color results i got will not be returning.. the girl was nice. But went over hair color of what i wanted did not come close to what I had shown already. Will not recommend this place just because of its good ratings. I hope to find an actual good salon to fix this issue.

I decided to get eyelash extensions for my first romantic get away to Mexico with my husband. I really love the look of eyelash extensions. I followed all the directions, be gentle, don't rub them etc. I got them done on a Thursday, Friday a bunch fell off my left eye. I thought okay that's probably normal. My right eye only had about two fall off that I noticed. Saturday over half of my eyelash extensions fell off my left eye. I didn't do anything to make them fall off. The right side was perfectly fine. So I looked horrible, the only thing I could do was get tweezers and pluck off the remaining eyelash extensions. On my left eye, they came off very easy no problems. My right eye was another story, very painful to pluck them off. I also lost some eyelashes doing this. I called when I got back to speak with Donna and I was given a "sorry about that" response. She said if I wanted to try them again to come in...no refund, nothing. I spent 150.00 plus tax and gave her a 20.00 tip. I will not be going in to try it again. It was a costly, horrible experience. I have never left a bad review online before this, but I wanted to warn the next person to go elsewhere, unless you can afford to waste your money. I know this was a long review, but I am very upset and disappointed.

I went to this salon as part of a bridal party. I will proactively say I was late to the appointment, because I am pregnant and had morning sickness. I'm not sure if the following appointment was simply because I was late or its just how the business works, but it wasn't good. I was taken back to the chair. I had an entire page of pictures of the hair I wanted (a french braid to a side bun). I pull out the pictures and this is what a stylist says to me "I can't do that." I didn't know how to respond. It wasn't a difficult hair style. A stylist near by tries to laugh it off and says it's easy enough to do. My stylist continues to argue with her, "I don't even know what kind of braid that is." I interject, "It's a french braid" figuring that's simple enough. She responds, "No, it's one of those fancy waterfall braids right?" The nice stylist near by continues to try to lighten the mood and explains that it is a french braid and she will do that. So she does the french braid in a couple of seconds. The stylist takes over to curl and put the hair up. First of all, the side bun is on my ear. Actually on the ear...very Princess Leia-esc. Then, she continues to jab my hair with pins. At one point she actually pinches one over my ear. She sprays hair spray without covering my face and I have hairspray in my eyes. She does the style so fast, I'm actually done before the other bridesmaids even though I was late. Of course, this "up do" cost me an outstanding $70.00 (more expensive than my own wedding hair) and I ended up getting it fixed twice before I left the building because it was falling out. It was a struggle to keep it in all day. Now, I should mention a different stylist else did my make-up that day, and that was a fantastic experience and the only reason why I didn't give this salon a 0.

During the cut she told me what she was doing step for step, which I really liked! She educated me on the product she used, but didn't force a "sell". I will go back!

Lonnie is great, I love getting my hair cut and dyed from her. I go there every time for it and always see her. She holds great conversation and every time I show her a picture of what I want no matter how complicated she does it perfectly besides one time when I wanted to get an ombré done on my hair and she suggested that I saw someone else that was more experienced with it in the salon. I'm happy they know that there are people that can do it better than themselves and will suggest you to others instead of "trying" to make it work. They have a good team and work in a very beautiful and calm salon. 5 stars!
