When I found NV salon I was excited to try their brand of organic hair products. I also found the art-filled studio very charming! My color was disappointing as it turned my brown hair a slightly berry hue... and had very patchy cover overall. When I asked if it could be fixed, the owner made comments alluding to it all being in my mind. She agreed to fix it though. I ended up trying one more round of color eight weeks later. While I only had a straight color application, she charged me for color plus highlights. In the same visit I purchased a spray-on hair product that only ended up lasting a few days. The result of this visit was the same patchy cover... except this time I paid much more for a bad result. When I pointed out the price mistake and poor color quality, this stylist told me I could have it fixed but would need to pay again. Very disappointed in my entire experience here, wanted others to be careful in choosing this place!

Normally I would have given this place at least 3 stars, but my last visit changed my mind VERY quickly. After I had paid and left I received a call from the stylist, she wanted to let me know I had left behind something and that I had shorted her 10$. She then accused me of stealing the 10$ when I dropped my purse. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO INSULTED! I would have never thought after coming to her for over a year, always tipping and usually buying extras, that I would be dealt such treatment. Even though my feelings are very hurt it is probably for the best. When I asked this time around for an edgy hair cut the stylist had no idea what I meant and she used a razor comb when I asked her not to. I'd say this place is ok if you are fine with a very classic, non edgy style and never plan on paying with cash. otherwise STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

NV Studio combines great hair styles and care with customer service and art. The owner and her family are outgoing and friendly. They combin a love of styling hair with their live arts and artists. Her shop has won fans and devoties from all over.

NV salon is awesome! I get my hair colored there for a few yrs & Julia the owner does a great job is very friendly & personable. The studio is in a great location downtown & has a lot of great art & other fun things that Julia sells. Love the all natural products, 100% recommend

My visit was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is cool and very colorful. My haircut was great as well as the conversation! You'll love this amazing hole in the wall!
