Chong is the most genuine sweet person, and I have to say, she's given me the best haircuts I've ever had. I've had hair stylist from all over the world and she always keeps up to date on the latest trends. She can compete with the best of them, and her prices are more than fair!! Go visit her shop, but it might help if you call to make an appointment before going in. I promise you will not be disappointed!!!

Wish i could give 0 stars. Its been about a month since Chong colored my hair and I’m still waking up and wishing i would have never stepped foot in that salon. I am a dark brunette and asked for balayage highlights, which i’ve had before. My usual salon couldn’t fit me in when i needed, and balayage highlights are so minimal i didn’t think anything could go wrong. $130 later, my hair smelled burnt and my color was so brassy that i had to go to another salon to fix (honestly it was so bad, i didn’t trust her to fix it). Instead of balayage, what i received from her was a BAD ombré (see photos in my yelp review). Once i got to my car, i left in tears. This salon is incredibly outdated and clearly didn’t know the current methods. My balayage has always been done with plastic, not foil. When i questioned it, she told me that wasn’t “real balayage” that i had before. I’ve always had highlights done at Metropolis downtown and they do an amazing job. If you need hair services, go there or to urban nirvana and trenholm. Please, don’t be lured by the “cheap” prices!!!

My favorite hair stylist! Good cuts, colors, and a quick scalp massage with shampoo. Very polite and friendly! I even had my husband go with me last time and he enjoyed the shampoo and liked the haircut!
