Also she gives the best scalp massage I've ever had. The entire staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I wouldn't trust any other Salon in Columbia.

I naturally have very dry and brittle hair so it’s very difficult for me to find someone to do it. She did absolutely amazing toning and conditioning it. She did a million dollar job on my hair. After a horrid hair cut I was silly enough to get in Texas Melissa gave me a fabulous super short look while I was on the East Coast for the Summer. She freshened it up in August just before I left to come back to Texas and no one has touched it since. This is the first haircut I’ve had in my life that didn’t have some strange, awkward, unmanageable grow out phase. How in the world she managed to cut what little hair I had so that it looked good eight months laster I’ll never understand. I’m not questioning it though, she’s simply managed a life long fan because of such mad skills. I moved from NY to SC a few months ago and found it very hard to find a place to get my hair cut and highlighted. I went to one overpriced salon with high hopes and was extremely disappointed.... I was in Desperate need of my hair done only after a little over a month of the other salon doing such a bad job, so I decided to try a different place. Thinking it was going to be the same situation. I expressed how dissatisfied I was from my last experience. Janie paired the perfect people with my daughter and I. I went to Jolie and my daughter had Jessica. We both walked out of this place very pleased. Not only did we have great conversation with real down to earth women but our hair looked great!!!! I have been cutting my own hair for almost 30 years without any big mess ups. But this time I messed it up ROYALLY. When I thought I was done, I kept finding long places & the more I corrected on the right side, I had to correct on the left side. It just kept getting shorter & shorter & still way too uneven. So, I sought professional help at Shear Indulgence. Chris did a great job fixing my goof up without having to drastically shorten my do! I searched reviews to find a good salon near my home, after my daughter requested a cut and color 2 days before her first school social. I needed a same day appointment and of course, they were booked. After learning the reason for our visit, Patrice agreed to stay late and take care of her. She was amazing! She really went above & beyond to make sure we were taken care of! My daughter got exactly what she wanted. She is thrilled with her new look!! The staff and atmosphere were wonderful. Definitely the most comfortable I have ever felt in a salon! It was a pleasure visiting. We will definitely be back.

I came into this salon with the perfect hair cut/color that i previously got at a different salon. All i needed was my roots dyed to match the rest of my hair, because of regrowth (and me not being a natural blonde) . The woman i went to put lightner on it, and once my hair lightened too quickly had to ask another stylist what to do, and ended up putting three different toners on. A week later and I’m having to come back to Columbia in order to get my hair fixed by someone else because the toner is no longer in my hair, and my hair is actually orange at the roots. Have been going to this salon for years, but i can’t say i would ever recommend it, or go again.

I ADORE Sully - she gets what you're asking for and treats you like a queen (or king, as the case may be). I took advantage of Jenn's aMAYzing skin specials this month, and she has a new client as well. These women are excellent at their crafts - they listen to your concerns and wishes, and you leave feeling about 6 inches taller when you leave, and not because you have big hair, unless, of course, you want to leave with big hair. I will take advantage of every service I can work into my budget.

With all the competition out there, a salon has to stand out for me to be a repeat customer. After today's experience, I know I've found my new salon. Janie not only gave me a great (and sorely needed) haircut, she was attentive, took her time with me (even though she had a customer impatiently waiting) and made me feel like she loves what she does for a living. I had called around the day before looking for an appointment at short notice for a Saturday and was met with actual rudeness at other places. The friendliness here started with the initial phone call and never stopped. Prices are very reasonable and atmosphere is great. I can't wait to go back.

Switching from a hair stylist I had for about a decade, it was difficult and scary to find another. I'm on a budget, but I dare not go to box color just yet or hopefully ever! I was recommended by a friend to see Cara (Sully) for my hair needs. At the time, I had red hair. I love it, but I wanted a change, and Cara spent the most time I have ever had done on my hair. She has surprised me with what my hair can do and has done it professionally and carefree. It's like we've been friends for years, and I truly appreciate that. Currently, I'm now a blonde and I thought I'd never be one again (since I was one when I was a wee baby). She rocks, and professionally gives me advice on what to do after I've put my hair through hell and back. I love the atmosphere of Shear Indulgence Salon & Day Spa, and I am glad to be moving to the state where I'll only be under a couple hours away!

First of all, I have no hair on top. However, I have a full beard that I can't seem to trim evenly myself. Since the wife was nagging me about it, I decided to step into Shear Indulgence to see if they could fix it. I don't know any barbers, and I didn't know if a salon could help or not. Melissa (one of the owners, I think?) welcomed me warmly and offered me a drink when I first walked in the door, not what I expected! She had an immediate opening (that is rare for her, apparently), and walked me over to a comfy chair where she listened carefully and offered advice, then proceeded to trim my scraggly beard. She also trimmed the hair I have and shaved my neck, which was awesome. The wife was delighted with the results, and I am decidedly impressed with the salon! She offered nose hair waxing, and assured me it didn't hurt. Maybe I will try that next time. The salon is clean, the women that work there are fun and happy and concerned with making every customer have a great experience. I will give them five stars with no hesitation and encourage you to check them out! Call in advance, though, as the girl told me, they are very busy!
