I am in complete awe with this salon, from the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out, these people made me feel great! I had the pleasure of having a young lady named Rebecca (Becky) do my hair, and not only was she beautiful, she took her time and did her job well... she took a few hours on my hair to fix what a friend did at home. She did amazing.. I can't wait to come back and get my hair cut, & then highlights again. Feels good to have someone I trust. This salon is amazing from top to bottom. The owners, the receptionist, and even the other stylist are great. Thank you Becky and Gore Salon ❤️

I've been a client at Gore for over two years and I would highly recommend this salon. It is very professional and the stylists are very well trained and go through Redken for their certifications. They will advise you on things you should or shouldn't do to your hair. I couldn't be happier with Heather and Nicole who always keep my hair looking it's best!

I went in yesterday for a style and cut. I was very disappointed. I received what I call a "Kenneth Schuyler Unicut" - a cut that looks like David Cassidy in the 80's. Zero creativity or artistry. The cut is uneven. I'm going back today to give the owner a chance to look at the haircut and fix it. I doubt that there will be anything he can do, since the cut is too short. The attention I received from the stylist was minimal and cursory, even though I specifically stated I was looking for someone new. I went back to Mr. Gore, who was very kind and who recut my hair in a cute style. He went the extra mile to make me happy. I would recommend him. I am very happy that they made it right. Just be careful who you book with.

This was my first time there and Nicole was my stylist. I told her what I wanted and the problems I have with my hair. She did an awesome job. You have a new client. So an update. I came back to Nicole again. She remembered how she cut it on my first visit and asked if wanted the same style again. I told her I wanted something different. Keep in mind i'm picky. She listened and styled it perfect. As i explained to her I tried many stylist in moving here from Florida and It's scary trying someone new. But in Nicole I found the perfect stylist. So for anybody needing a new stylist call Gore Saloon and ask for Nicole. You won't be disappointed.

I never write reviews but I had a few issues with this salon. First OVERPRICED for mediocre work. Second I got highlights done but was still able to see the dark roots all throughout the top of my head once she was done. Third I asked for long layers... I got just the dead ends cut off. Fourth I happen to like a lot of volume to my hair ( hence the long layers ) I walked out with my hair straight and flat. Two things I did notice was the owner of the salon is a funny guy and the girl doing my highlights was sweet which was one of the pluses other then that I won’t be going back.

Nicole is AWESOME!!!! I've gone to several different stylists trying to get something new and different and a little edgy, and she is the first one in YEARS to get it right! It's hard to find a stylist who is an artist, and can visualize what's going to look good. She was able to do that, while at the same time getting input from me along the way to make sure that I was happy with it. BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH THIS GIRL!!!

I've been going to Heather for well over a year and her color skills rock! She found a way to bring back this over-40 hair to the color of my youth with Shades Demi-color. She's also great with naturally curly hair which is a rare find in the Columbia/Lexington area. The salon also has a refer-a-friend program and sells quality products.

Moving from the Northeast and trying to find a "New Stylist" can and is very overwhelming especially since I haven't had a new stylist for 30 years. I found Gore Salon by researching online and decided to send an email and they responded within a couple of hours. My appointment was with Howard and he not only made me feel comfortable and relaxed but gave me a great haircut and I made my next appointment before leaving. The salon is very nicely designed and everyone that I came in contact with at my appointment was very warm and friendly. I consider myself very "picky" but I would highly recommend Gore Salon for any new or first timer. I look forward to a long relationship with Howard and his Salon! I attended the Blowdry Bootcamp by Gore Salon in Irmo, SC on 03/03/2018, what a great time! I consider myself pretty well educated in terms of beauty and health and I learned a lot of new things! It is fortunate for me that this salon is located so close to my home. However, I would travel a distance to be serviced here. My sister travels over 60 miles to experience the expertise of this salon. The hair and beauty experts here are knowledgeable, talented and so personable. This is my new salon! The owners are hands on and love this business and make it obvious. Lovely people. I will be booking with Annie! She is so good! And they all are!
