Jamie is a stellar stylist! I can only speak highly of him. On his day off from the salon, Jamie happened to come across my dog and me at the park, as we were locked out of the car. He graciously drove us home to drop the furbaby off and even brought me back to the park to retrieve my car. I hope the universe sends him all of the good blessings he deserves. What wonderful character and good soul Jamie has. I am so grateful. He is one of the most kind-hearted, caring people I have ever met and takes pride in his accomplished career.

I have been going to Lavish Salon since early this year. This is hands down one of the most professional and excellent place. My stylist Jaime is very good. I have never had him do a bad haircut. He listens, takes his time and does a fantastic job. I travel from Boston just for a haircut because there is no one like Jaime! Definitely check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

I wish I had an awesome experience like so many other seem to have but that wasn’t the case. This was my first time getting my hair professionally done I ended up somewhat disappointed I paid about 260 for what I got done but the original price was almost 500 but thanks to the holiday special I took advantage of I got it for lower which is great. I would right off the bat say it wasn’t worth the original price. I was in the salon for about 8 hours and some of that time was due to my stylist walking to the back and leaving me for long periods of time without really checking up on how my hair was processing. I had a color put into my hair and the first time washing it with cold water and sulfate feee shampoo (as recommended by my stylist) most of the color washed out and I was left with an underlying yellow orange tint. Once I contacted my stylist about my feelings towards my hair we had a conversation and I was told to come in at a time but when I asked for another appointment time I was ignored. My hair is alright but I was expecting so much more.

I recommend this salon only if you have wavey-curly hair (3a-3c) Went in for a tight curly cut and walked out with wet matted hair. The staff was friendly but they need more education on styling different hair types. My hair was roughly "detangled" during my shampoo which was already a big no. My hair was already detangled when I went in but the stylist ripped through sections of hair pulling my hair out in clumps which when i made a complaint about how rough they were handling my hair I was told I must be tenderheaded (I am in fact not tenderheaded but had a heavy handed stylist who was not taking their time) Same with the conditioning. My hair was never sectioned, was never thoroughly detangled which by the time gel was slapped on by the handfuls there was no curled defined. My cut was wonderful but the styling and wash was a waste of time since I had to go home rewash, detangle, and style all over again.

If you’re new to it she and her wonderful stylist walk the clients through how to maintain your hair. They’re amazing. Always a pleasure going there. I love their new location. Go visit them!

I have been going to Lavish Salon for the last three years. I have very tight curls, and I was hesitant to get a haircut, as I was always chemically straightening my hair. I met with Alisha, Master Stylist and Owner, for a consultation prior to moving forward with a haircut. When I did cut my hair, she took the time to walk me through the process and make recommendations. My hair is so healthy and is growing, and I can't thank Alisha enough!
