I don’t often write reviews but I decided to come to Ky Michaels based on the reviews I read online and can say that I’m so grateful I did! Ky far exceeded my expectations and I’m thrilled with the work that he did for me! I had a rather unusual situation and he was so compassionate and helpful, with how he treated me, scheduling on short notice, and taking the time to make sure that he was giving me the cut and style I wanted. I’m ecstatic with what I walked out with and would highly recommend Ky in general and especially to anybody with special requirements!

I literally never write reviews but this guy is worth writing for. I am so picky about who deals with my hair, and FINALLY found someone who knows what they're doing. Ky listened and heard me out and gave me EXACTLY what I wanted and thats something that I feel like is personally hard to find, not to mention his awesome experience. Loved this salon! Just moved to the area and was hoping to find a new stylist and was able to snag an appointment with Heather. She did not dissappoint! She knew exactly what my hair needed to look healthy and fresh again, her haircut was clean and thorough and she gave me some great styling tips and product recommendations specific to my hair type. The staff was very friendly and the salon was in a great location . I can't say enough good things, can't wait to go back!

Maggie is an absolutely rockstar! I went to KY Michales Salon for the first time seeking a professional opinion on the shape of my hair and the thick layers from my cheap hair cut I recently received. She was able to understand my pain points and correct them all while being so easy to talk to and personable. I live 1 hr. away from the salon but will be driving back in December because of the positive experience I had here - I strongly recommend this place, and specifically, Maggie!

Dear Ky Michaels Salon, I love what we have going on but I think we should see other people. Your extremely skilled stylists, friendly and down-to-earth staff, and awesome line of products are clearly what earn you your top ratings. Thank you so much for all of this! BUT rescheduling my appointment with less than 24 hours notice THREE TIMES (or maybe more now?) speaks otherwise. As a busy professional and student, I’m kind of afraid to try scheduling here anymore. I’d like to say, “really, it’s not you, it’s me” but I’m just not sure that closing works here...

I have been going to Ky Michaels Salon now for approximately 10 months after parting ways with my hairdresser of 5 years. I searched online and after the positive reviews, I was excited to try this place! I met with Jessica, and immediately knew I'd found my new hairdresser! Well, during my last visit, I got a little too adventurous with my haircolor, and after two weeks knew it wasn't for me...I called the salon to see what could be done and was quickly given an appointment for yesterday and Jessica was great yet again! My hair is now back to beautiful and I know to listen to her from now on!!! If you are looking for a new hair salon, you will not be disappointed with any of the very talented people working here!!!

I made an appointment for a consultation and never receive the confirmation message than 10 min later they call me to tell me that they will charge me $25 because I didn’t show up. I’m so disappointed; would not recommend this salon to anyone. This people don’t have a good service they just want the money. Go to Studio 101 they don’t charge for a consultation and it’s way more professional.

I love going to Ky Michaels. first, its located in a great neighborhood in Providence surrounded by small stores and great people. The staff is magnificent! Emily is my stylist and I can't say enough about how wonderful she is! The rest of the staff are amazing and I have seen many fabulous hair styles walk out the door. They have a great selection of hair products and I always get exactly what MY hair needs. I hope you will try this place out if your looking to get a change, or just upkeep on your beloved style... Ky Michaels is the place!

I recently had my hair ruined with bleach at another salon. I went to Ky on “a hope and a prayer “ that it could be semi-corrected. I work in a professional environment and was so embarrassed to show up to work with my hair the way it looked. My confidence level, in having it corrected, was so low. Ky not only corrected it, but he made my hair look the best it has ever looked! All I can say, Ky, is thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! I will never go anywhere else! My hair has never been so healthy, shiny and is always the color and cut I want. The service is always outstanding. Ky is always very welcoming and friendly. I will never go back to this place. They charge me full price $105 for the same day cancellation. I understand it cause the inconvenience for them, but I never heard of the policy to charge full price! I can accept partial fee for inconvenience, this is ridiculous.

Ky Michaels is the only salon I go to. I have thinning hair and they know how to make it look the fullest. I always feel self confident when I leave there. I am always worried about bald spots. I have been using the same stylist and would never think of switching.
