I went to see Jennifer at John Bacon Salon to fix my bleached-blonde Sun-In hair and to get a trim. She is fabulous! Jennifer blended in lowlights and highlights perfectly, returning my hair to its natural color (which is hard to do!), and making the color look completely natural as well. She is also the first stylish to successfully give me layers that actually 1) add volume to my hair, and 2) looks good no matter how it falls. I've routinely tried out other stylists and said, "I want a trim. Something with volume and blended layers.' - but my hair only looked good when I walked out of the salon. My cut with Jennifer continues to look amazing, and all my friends loved my new haircut when they saw me.

For the past 15 years, I haven't owned either a hair dryer, or a comb. No, seriously. I'm not kidding. Okay, granted, my hair is *really* short. However, the shorter you go, the more precise your cut needs to be...trust me on this one. Having a fabulous, yet super-low-maintenance hairstyle is essential to my sanity: towel-dried hair with some gel combed through with my fingertips is how I like to begin my day. Every day. Enter: Jennifer Keller - masterful, precision stylist. I could go on with paragraphs of kudos about Jen's consummate professionalism, skill, charm, and wit, but that would verge on tedious. Instead I will say only this: when it comes to precision hairstyling, my bar is HIGH - yet Jennifer Keller scales it with the greatest of ease. So, call her today. Because she rocks.

Jessica has been my hair stylist for many years. She always listens to exactly what I want, and then between my request and her expertise and vision, she styles my hair in a way that is better than what I had ever imagined. Jessica is very professional and has a natural talent for what she does. She has cut, colored, and treated my hair, and it has never been healthier. She also styled my hair in a very elegant up-do for a wedding in which I attended, although I thought this would be impossible because of my chin length hair. I would highly recommend Jessica becuase she is an exceptional stylist. If anyone is in need of a hair stylist, especially if you are looking for a change or unsure what you want for a style/color/etc, Jessica will surely not disappoint you.

I always leave the salon pleased with the results. I am often approached when out in public by complete strangers who stop me to say how much they love my hair style. I have been a client of Maryse for many many years. She is friendly, professional and listens to your concerns regarding color, cut, etc. I moved to Florida about two and a half years ago. I've been a client at John Bacon for several years. Robert is my stylist, and I've never had better color or cut, even when paying double to triple the amount on Newbury Street in Boston. I never have to wait the way I did in Boston, either, when often my stylist(s) would be overbooked and keep me waiting for as much as an hour after my scheduled time. Robert always listens to me and makes perfect suggestions. I've yet to come out of there not feeling wonderful about the way I look. Highly recommended!

Bleh. So the staff is really friendly and nice, but the SENIOR stylist whom I had was a little iffy on how to cut curly hair. I had to go back again to get a little more layering, as curly hair, unlike straight hair, just doesn't look good all one length, even though I explicitly said that I wanted layering the first time. When I went back again, I had to comment several times on exactly what I wanted, but the front layer of my hair was cut too short. I wear my hair parted on the side, but it was cut as if I wore a middle part, so one side is too short, again, something that wouldn't be a problem for straight hair, but is actually INCREDIBLY annoying for curly hair. I would possibly recommend this to women who have straight hair and want it cut all one length, but for the amount you'd pay, if you're a curly-haired person, get your hair cut at a place that specializes in curly hair. GAH.

I have the great pleasure of having Melissa as my stylist. She has done an amazing job on my hair. She always knows what will look best on me from color to style. She not only makes me feel and look beautiful but she teaches me how to do the same at home on my own! I am so pleased with her work I have taken my daughter to her several times to have her hair done for special occasions. The updo styles that Melissa does are amazing and unique. My husband is now her client as well and he is extremely happy with her work. My family has never felt so good about our appearance and we have Melissa to thank for that!

John is always accomodating and professional. He has great ideas and suggestions. Watching him cut either my hair or someone else's is always fascinating; he's fast like "Edward Scissorhands". He also has a great personality and has built a great rapport with all of his clients. I would highly recommend John to anyone who is looking for a new salon and a fresh, new style.

Jess is mystylist and she is AMAZING. Prior to going to Jess, I was never able to find a stylist that constatantly styles my hair to my liking. She listens to what I am ,looking for, but doesnt just do that... she offers her own insight and reasoning behind what she thinks will work best - so farshe is always right. : ) I've been going there for 4 years and I just LOVE it.

Good service, a bit pricey I went in to dye my hair a lighter color. The stylist was very skilled and kind. I would have given 5 stars, but my hair color didn't look quite right the first time, so I had to go back in to remove some of the dye.

I've been a customer for 10 years I get my hair cut & colored,& highlighted. No one else gets the color right! My children, who are now teenagers get their hair done here too! I spent many years traveling to Boston to get my hair done--I have hard-to-handle limp gray hair and John is my stylist. He does an exceptional job with my hair--I never have to give him any direction. Recently he has been cutting my daughter's hair as well, as it grows out from a very short haircut, making it easier for her to manage during the growing out process. While I still travel to Boston for many services, there is no need for that trip for a haircut--we have it all here!
