Horrible deva cut experience :( and I didn't realize it until after the fact that the back of my hair have a huge chunk missing. It was mybfirat one and it was very stupid of me to not ask to see the back of my head before I left. Lesson learn

Terrible. The receptionist was very friendly but Christine had me waiting OVER 2 hours, didn’t have the courtesy to call me before hand, told me every half hour she was almost done, then had the nerve to rush my hair AND charged me full price. Don’t bother.

My girlfriend got her haircut here a few weeks ago, they are suposebly certifed by deva haircuts but that was a lie.. the person who was cutting my girlfriends hair kept asking the other salonist wether she was doing a good job or not, turns out after she was done, my girlfriend was missing half her hair, and she only cut it from the top ( she has super thick curly hair) leaving my girlfriend who spent 2 years trying to grow her hair out with less than half the hair she had ( she had to go to a proffesional to fix her hair, ended up loosing more than half her hair) STAY AWAY THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT PROFESIONALS THEY ARE JOKES

I have visited this place twice now and fully intend to continue. The staff is friendly and I like that they are like a group of friends since a salon tends to be a place we sit for a long while. I do the silk wrap regular visit for my super thick coily natural hair and the first time I did a few people thought I had relaxed it! Christine the owner goes above and beyond for her clients even helping me to make sure my appointments are scheduled when she can do my hair herself :-)

My daughter is mixed and has very dry, thick hair. I found Bliss Salon on Facebook and thought we'd give it a try. Pearl did an amazing job conditioning and styling her hair. She gave her a minimal trim to clean up her end, without getting scissor happy. I will definitely be coming back.

The only place I go for my waist length single braids! Super professional, clean, affordable and they are open on Sundays by appointment! Great for makeup and nails too!

I got my hair braided last week and I am highly disappointed. My braids already look like they have been in for about a month and my real hair is sticking out of the braids and I also have a mini fro at the back of my neck from my hair not getting braided all the way down. She didn't even seal the end of my braids so they won't unravel I feel like I basically gave away 65 dollars. I was super excited to give this salon a try even after seeing some bad reviews I wish I had followed my mind and went elsewhere. The only positive thing I can say is that she was friendly.

I have been going here for over 2 years and I still come back faithful every two weeks they do all hair types, don't let race intimidates you they're wonderful people also very personal,very professional, they'll give you all your options, the atmosphere is always friendly and you leave feeling like family they do all kind of hair styles and not afraid of a challenge.. They are growing constantly adding esthetics services and more I can't wait to see what they grow into in 5 years from now love this salon! Chrissy and Pearl are the best it's worth it! Just do it and you will be mad that you didn't find them before

I went to bliss to get a big hair cut and I was nervous because there aren't many black owned hair salons in Rhode Island and lil to none hair salons that know how to do black hair. My first visit was awesome that's why i wanted to go back for a nother appointment. I wasn't happy with the second one. I had two stylist try to blame me for not getting my hair done when I was there on time and waited for an hour. I was getting up to reschedule and it was only then that someone asked me was someone helping me. I reschedule for s unday but I honestly didn't like how the two stylist tried to blame me for not getting my hair done. Im sure one less person is not gonna hurt there business and nor do i want it to, but i think the stylist there shouldnt be so quick to blame a customer that wasn't angry or rude so no need to be rude to them.

I went yesterday to get a cut and color from Christine. I was impressed with her professionalism and her technique way of cutting. I'm a 4c natural and wanted a style not a chop, she did an amazing job. She is my new stylist now! My hair turned out AWESOME!!!!

I have to admit I was reluctant to go here based on the overall review ratings, but when I walked past the salon a few days ago I couldn't resist. The place looked homey and everyone was so lovely and welcoming! I booked my deva cut with the owner (Christine) and went to get it done today. I was surprised to know that I only needed half an hour and it only cost $35! Especially that I had done my hair cut before (also a deva cut) for three times the price PLUS it took them 1.5hrs each time at some other salons. Christine was extremely attentive, talented, and put me straight at ease. Getting into my 4b (kinky-curly) hair was almost like it was second nature to her. It looked effortless, it was quick and it came out perfect! I'm going back for a colour consult next week with her.
