This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a African braiding salon. First off it took them 10 hours to do my micro braids. Once they were finally finished the woman (Gloria) put them in a ponytail. The nxt morning I took my ponytail out to find my braids in the middle are larger than the outside, as well as my natural hair is sticking out of the braids. I instantly called the salon and didn’t get a answer due to it being Sunday. ( but they work Sundays by appt only) so I left a message. Monday at 1pm I haven’t received a call back so I called them. I spoke to the rudest person possible (Mitzi) she over talked me, and said my hair sticking out is due to my hair texture. Never once apologizing or tryna find a resolution. After 10 min on the phone with her she asked me to send pics over. I did, waited a hour and called back. I spoke to another women who hadn’t seen the pictures nor knew anything about my issue. She told me she’ll call me back after looking at the photos. When she called back she asked me to come in so my hair can get fixed. I informed her I wld be the the following day at 5pm. The nxt day I got a txt at 4:52 stating there was a emergency and no one wld be at the salon. I was literally around the corner so I went anyway. And no one was there. I txted back asking what were we gonna do about my hair. Never got a response. The following day I called and got Mitzi’s rude ass on the phone again and her attitude was just as nasty as the first time we spoke. Only this time I was pissed, frustrated and only wanting a partial refund. She said they don’t do that. I let her know how unprofessional they are and that I’ll Never Go there again and hung up. So I was out of $190 and 10 hours of time. And it’s only been 2weeks and my braids are literally sliding out my head. I’m very disappointed in this place.

The slowest braiding place ever. I could not find a parking spot. i drove around 20 mins. Nervous about leaving my car in the firestation parking lot because it says dont park but the staff told me to park there. It took over 11 hours for micros. Its nuts it should take that long

Please save uself the disappointment! For $200 they should have done a way better job on my hair! It's neat yea, bt I got my hair done on the 11th it's the 23rd and I literally lost almost all my plaits n the front and my hair is very lose n the middle! I will not b returning and if it was up to me neither would anybody else!

MY sister and I both came in to do our hair and even staff are so friendly! They catered to our every needs and made us feel at home! And they did such a good job on my weave and my sister's braids! Definitely coming back !

I came to this place a year ago and the owner along with a staff member butchered my hair when you dont even require cutting for faux locs. I didnt get the hair style i wanted to protect my hair my hair is very long and the staffer who assist was burning the weave along with my hair with a candle. When i noticed my hair unraveling literally 3 days later that is when i discovered they cut my hair short. The staffer obviously didnt do it right so the owner redone some at that point im not understanding how or why she didnt notice she seen my hair length all over was long literally almost touch my elbow and never said nothing. I notified the owner she claimed they didnt so i go back she unraveled some in spots she knew was long then intentionally put earplugs in to ignore my request unprofessional. I was unsatisfied. I left when i noticed again more of my hair was cut i called and they claim the owner was out of town . i went back and requested all the locs to be taken out to view my hair and seen how short in all sections it was sad that this place would do that and the owner not once call or returned my call or offered a refund. First experience with Africans doing my hair and last! Becareful who you let touch your hair everyone isnt giving quality service and honest service.

Scheduled my appt with a women who had a client there already. Had me waiting 40m and didn't apologize for them scheduling two appointments at the same time. No customer service no manners. And my hair was not the way I wanted it was rushed because they were closing soon. Never coming back. Completely unprofessional!

I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ago we discussed a time and the pricing. She never asked for my name, so when I got there she bumped me off the schedule for somebody else horrible place never again. I had to be out of town this week.

I got box braids down here and they were amazing. I've had my hair braided every summer and this was the cheapest I've ever had them done for, they lasted longer than any other time I've had them and my braids were done faster than anywhere else I'd been.
