Denham & Co is an absolute must for hair/makeup! I had to book my wedding party here when I booked my appointment because I knew we'd be in great hands. The entire team is incredibly talented on top of their super friendly and extensive services. They accommodated 12 of us for hair and makeup in a very timely manner and the final looks were so stunning! Every girl who had a specific look they were going for had expressed their expectations were exceeded and found their stylists/artists to be very responsive/personable.

If you haven’t yet been to the gorgeous downtown salon, Denham & Company, and want really top notch professional service, don’t hesitate to book today! I have had multiple services-hair cut, color consultation and change-that I really LOVE! Beautiful highlights-(Thank you Tim!). Also great blow outs, awesome shampooing-incredible! I’ve also had Cayla do a fabulous, life changing Brazilian blow out! LOVE IT-totally worth doing to tame thick frizzy hair! Cayla has also done gorgeous haircuts/blowouts for my 19 year old daughter. This salon is a very accommodating! If I have had a “hair emergency” Rick has always fit me in! (Many, many thanks!!). I’m a stylist with the Carlisle collection and my salon is right across the hall from Denham & Co. I’ve taken many clients in to see the salon after their appointment to see beautiful clothes with me-because the salon is so stunning and the staff is just friendly and incredible! If I could give this salon more than 5 stars, I would! I’ve been salon-hopping since I moved to Pittsburgh earlier this year, unable to find the right stylist to do my cut or color. After being disappointed by a number of salons locally, I looked up the reviews for Denham & Co., and they did not steer me the wrong way! I read the glowing reviews and decided to reach out to the salon via Yelp’s reservation feature late in the evening. I received a prompt response from Rick, and he was so accommodating- he was able to get me in the next day (a Saturday afternoon). I was able to share photos of what I wanted, ahead of time (through the app). Even though I wanted a fresh balayage, I had asked them to call the Aveda salon in Novi, MI (Salon Agape), for the previous formula that was used last year (and lo behold, they never documented it in their system). Luckily, my stylist, Cayla, already knew exactly what to do without wasting a second! She is a true artist. She gave me EXACTLY what I wanted, based on the Pinterest picture I showed her. She was also very friendly and patient with my questions. After the color, she took about 14 seconds to cut my hair and give me a complete mood boost! This lady knows what she’s doing and I’m so glad I listened to the reviews! The price was reasonable and well worth it. The best part is that this salon is a stone’s throw from my apartment! I will definitely be coming back to Cayla in the future and highly recommend the salon.

This is my uncle’a salon. He gave me my very first haircut in kindergarten. Since then I have never been to any other salon and I never will. Over the past couple of years many of his stylists have given me beautiful natural looking healthy highlights. Once you’ve had the best why try the best??

I always have a great experience at Denham and Co. They make you feel great when you are there, and look great after you leave. Who needs a psycho-therapist, just get your hair cut at Denham's. It will change your outlook. Oh, and the new saloon is absolutely beautiful! Wow!

Although the stylist was super friendly and knew what she was doing, I got purple highlights and it faded into my normal hair color just 3 days later (she said it would fade but made it seem like it would last way longer than that). she was willing to redo my hair until the salon manager intervened and he was completely rude and uncaring. after he made it seem like such a big deal for them to redo my hair I got really fed up and annoyed and just asked for a refund. he refused a refund and wouldn't do anything for me to make up for the unhappiness of being overcharged for something that lasted just a mere 3 days. if you want a salon with decent prices and good customer service, keep looking!

Beautiful salon and staff! I chose them from Ohio as we were traveling to Pittsburgh for my daughter's wedding in October. The reviews were spot on! We left looking and feeling great! The special puppies and dog made my day!!

In Pittsburg for 5 days, decided to take the plunge and get my hair cut, colored and styled. This was the best decision I have made in some time. Cayla is the best. I felt like I have known her forever!!! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and voila! They even mentioned donating my hair and I was all for it. Great group of people and a wonderful experience that I will never forget. Cayla please come home with me!!

I've been going to Aveda salons for years and chose this one when I moved to Pittsburgh - very glad I did. I've been a customer for years now. I go for haircuts only so don't have comments on other services. I've never waited longer than 5 or 10 min for my stylist and usually have no wait. My haircuts have been flattering and grow out very well. I do use some Aveda products at home but have never been pressured to buy products. The cost is typical for most salons and with great service and styling I'll keep coming back. A few months ago the salon was forced to move to a new location just a few doors down from the old location. It is now directly on the corner of 5th and Liberty on the second floor of the Diamond Building. I loved the feel of the old location with lots of natural wood and antiques but the new salon is also charming. It is bright and sunny thanks to tons of windows and a white interior. There are also lots of beautiful old architectural features that fit well with the antiques that are still decorating the space. The owners definitely turned lemons into lemonade with this new space.

I hadn't had anyone else but my stylist in NY touch my hair in 5 years, so I took a leap of faith coming here for color. Let me tell you, Laura is incredible. Fantastic stylist and conversationalist. The salon atmosphere is really upscale but not uncomfortably upscale. There are a couple dogs there who love to be cuddled and it was all around a 7 star experience. I came out of that place with model-esque hair. Well done Denham. I'll definitely be back.
