My haircut appointment with Natasha was everything i wanted and more! She was super friendly and made me feel confident that I was in good hands. I was shown around the building and I couldn’t help but notice how clean and organized everything was. The haircut itself was finished in a timely manner and it looks amazing! Already scheduled another appointment for a color and I can't wait to go back!

I have had multiple hair appointments here. The frist few were great, unfortunately my last I had a very challenging time getting the miscolor corrected. Through it all the teachers were supportive of the student guiding her through the process of fixing the mistake. My hair didn't turn out the way I was expecting but they did everything within reason to accommodate me, they scheduled me two appointments to correct the color of my hair. I plan on going back soon for a new balayage color creation. I recommend this school to everyone. Professional and friendly atmosphere and you can't beat the prices.

Came in and asked for a gel removal and color change. It should have taken 20 minutes and instead took over an hour because the student was so slow and kept stopping to talk. As bad as that was, the color was thick and tacky and instead of using another one, she glopped it on. The polish was not neat, going off the nails in several places. I took it off as soon as I got home. I don’t know if it was just this student or the salon but it was not a good experience.

I was happy with this Salon but not now. I feel that they took advantage of my Mom who is 83, by doing more work than she normally has done, and then charging her more $$. When I spoke to the owner and pointed out the fact that my Mother has maintained a pattern of "hair, cut, and color" for the same price for over a year, her reply was in support of how they teach their students to consult. I will not be going back to this salon, nor will I recommend this school to other consumers.

My experience with The Salon Professional Academy was fantastic! From booking the appointment over the phone to the end result of my fabulous haircut, I am impressed. The staff is professional and super friendly. Daryn, the student stylist was wonderful and diligent with her new craft. I have curly, coarse hair and have struggled for years to find a stylist close to Wilsonville that can give me a consistant and well executed cut, The Academy is the answer. I highly recommend making an appointment.

I love this place! I have had my hair done by Sandra 3 times now and she is amazing. She is very easy to talk to and has a great personality. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Each time I have come in and wanted some crazy, lengthy thing done and she was all for it. I really like it when people show enthusiasm for what you want done. So keep up the good work and I already have my next appointment with her.

I have had only positive experiences at TSPA. I started going for hair and skin services over a year ago and I have had several different student stylists and student estheticians. I can honestly say that I have never been unhappy with my service. I have been to barbers, salons and spas everywhere. I think that I would recomnend TSPA over any of them. It is a school and the salon floor is a classroom. I dont mind at all having every step supervised by the instructors. It takes a bit longer for this reason but the deep discount makes it worth the extra time.

I usually go to these school salons for price value. Heck for $9.00 you get a haircut and shampoo. I've go to other school and let students cut my hair for years, and once in a while you find that one student who is really good with clippers and scissors and really skilled. Like I said, once in a while. Sometimes the stylist gets its right. However, here at the Salon Academy, I have been fortunate to have Daryn and Arnold cut my hair, and they are both. I believe every student on the floor is GREAT. This school is legit. The teachers are knowledgeable, the students are eager to learn, and the customer service is always with a smile - Rochelle is super nice, patience, and amazing! The prices are fair and cheap. It's rare for me to have TWO great students cut my hair, and my family's hair. I would highly recommend this school to get your haircut and color. It's a full salon, they do nails, facials, and waxing. It's also super spacey, and not like other school where it's cramp, and filled with chairs. Call them. Set up an appointment, and enjoy!

I have been coming to the salon for a little over 3 months and could not be happier. I have been paying for very expensive hair cuts at a hair salon I have been going yo for years, and since my stylist was booked up I decided to go locally to this salon. Being hesitant when I got to my appointment I was warmly greeted and put my confidence in with the young lady that cut my hair. It was by far the best cut if not better. I would highly recommend trying out this salon, even though they are getting ready to graduate from hair academy the are well qualified and trained to do their very best.

Excellent salon academy and never felt that I was consulting with a student. Makayla did a wonderful job in cutting and styling my hair. I totally recommend her. She is friendly and knowledgeable. I just showed her the pic of the haircut that I wanted only once. She picked it up from there and did a beautiful job. I never felt like I was in an academy. They are seasoned and does an amazing job.

Emma is great! You would think she has been doing hair and nails for years. The color is perfect every time and she helps me try a new style. I enjoy the salon experience she provides in a beautiful setting. The facility is first class and I feel welcome. You are stepping into an experience that doesn't feel like a college. Instead, staff make sure services provided are well done, but they don't hover.

The reason that I did not give 5 stars is for lack of ambience, tranquility that is usually part of a facial experience. I do understand that this is a training facility and and not a fancy salon, but having a large room does take away from the treatment. This is no reflection on the students, only the room. I have had facials from 4 of the students at the academy. All were very professional and did good jobs. I appreciate being told what the creams are that are being used, how they work etc.. I had a very mixed experience. I called to make an appointment to get hair and nails done for prom. I was told it would be 3 hours max for both (1 for hair and 2 for nails). Little did I know that it would take OVER 6 HOURS! The hair took ~2 hours and the nails took ~4 hour. I understand that they are students and they are learning HOWEVER, they should still be able to work in a timely manner! I was rushing to get out of there because by the time everything was done, I only had 20 minutes to get home and put on my makeup and dress. While the work they did was nice, and the two lady's that did the work were very nice and pleasant to talk to, I just dont understand at all why it took so long. On a side note. The friend I went with got black acrylics. It was all weird and bubbly looking. It started chipping off the next day.
